Proof of existence of the God—The entire world is divided into two parts  on the basis of ideology or theory—atheist and theist. The theist is also of two types. Some people believe in the God and behave and lead a life according to rituals, ved and godly inspiration. While others believe in the God due to their family background, training, particular atmosphere, particular incidence, self interest, experience, etc. Such types of people have no divinity, authenticity and specialization in their character or life. They can be called opportunist. There is a group believing in the God, the Ishwar, the Khuda, the Allah or the almighty. They indulge in hatred job like violence, cruelty, war, religion change, terrorism in the name of the God and the religion. Similarly, atheist has also two branches or classes. Some atheist includes many scientists, naturalist, moralist, humanist, nationalist who don’t believe in the God as the ultimate power. They have faith in universal law, non-violence, truth, justice, strength, purity, true theories, good behavior, etc. They lead a happy life with honesty and commitment. They wish for bringing prosperity, happiness, health, education and civilization for entire human being. Others believe in the God but at the same time, they don’t have faith in morality, values, theories, ideals. They indulge in self interest, addiction, violence, cruelty, falseness, dishonesty, bad habit, etc. They are self centered. They are not responsible for existence. They are grappled with ego, ignorance, darkness that they are not ready to accept truth or ultimate truth. They are engulfed with self happiness, prejudice, demerits, weaknesses that they don’t care for prosperity, facility, right of other people. They turn into anarchist. Their mind is filled with wrong thoughts.  

    Therefore, true theist, spiritualist, true atheist, humanist, intelligent, idealist people don’t create obstacle for others. There is another gang between both the ideologies. In fact, it has nothing to do with any thought, ideology or ideal. Whether believing in the God or not is another matter, but at the same time, such people must have faith in the truth, humanity, unity, equality, justice, love, kindness, service, coexistence, universal brotherhood, world peace, universal unity, personal and universal responsibility. They must abide by the rules and regulations and law made in the name of justice in the country and the world. Otherwise, they have to face the consequences. Nobody is above the judicial system whether he is theist or atheist.

    Theism is the bitter truth of this existence. Although this subject is very serious and vast. Every cell of the body, our entire personality, every atom of the universe and entire existence, a supreme vast system, its maker, construction, process of running it and manager are proofs for it. Although, the human being has great knowledge, sensation, capacity and creativity, they can’t create a cell of the body, an atom of the universe, a seed or a new design. It means that there is an ultimate God above the human being. The third point is that knowledge, inspirations, message, direction, and sensation arising out of soul, brain or heart of the human being naturally are the very evidences of the presence of God’s divine power.

1.    Self duty, self religion, nation religion, world religion and human religion mean that there are various misconceptions in the name of duty and religion.

 Unity, purity and affection of thoughts, emotions and duty bring prosperity, happiness and universal justice in the society. Lack of these elements creates grief, poverty, uproar and injustice. Diversity of thought, sensation and duty and need of existence are the natural process. But at the same time, it this diversity takes shape of enmity, opposition and hatred, violence and cruelty, terrorism and anarchy, then it turns into destructive. Thought is the very basis of support of oppose in any reference. This thought turns into ideology. The current of this ideology causes revolution, movement, war and destruction. If we divide the fields of diversity of thought or ideology, we will arrive at the goodness of its all aspects. Ideology has five components like social, economical, political, religious and educational. The entire world is the expansion of diversity of ideology. Unfortunately, all type of religious and political polarization cause this division. Therefore, religious and political power play important role in any society and nation. The people should sacrifice their facility, self interest, loss-benefit, power, empire, prejudice, ignorance and ego, etc, and adopt scientific thought of logic, facts, proof etc and non-violence, truth, equality, unity, co-existence, universal brotherhood, freedom, justifiable ideals and theories. Only then we will be able to eradicate ignorance, grief, poverty, violence, enmity, opposition, division, discrimination, hatred, cruelty and injustice.

Religious unity and struggle

Although, the entire world is divided in the name of atheist and non-atheist. But I don’t consider it as division because belief in religion or God, tradition, training, atmosphere, education and society play an important role in the political system of the nation. I believe that the philosophy of atheism and non atheism are not the major practical problem. Because the people having faith in both of these factors believe human values, morality and higher social ideals and universal rituals and justice. The people displaying so called religious and atheism, false, unreligious, non atheism, secular, anishwarvadi, immoral and inhuman behavior create problem. If the children are imparted with the reference of religion, God and training based on scientific education system and truth, then there will be end of struggle, hatred, fear, violence, terrorism, discrimination and other problems in the world. The religion doesn’t mean Hindu, Islam, Christianity, Jain, Buddhism, Sikh, Jew, etc. All these are cult, sect, guru tradition or cultural rituals- policies or civilization or lifestyle, faith or belief or and heritage evolved in separate era. We must give respect to all these. The people develop a perception that their own cult is the best as they fail to understand the proper meaning of cult due to struggle, biasness or scuffle. They must get rid of this misconception. If any theory is unscientific and illogical and contrary to justice, equality, unity, coexistence and universal brotherhood, etc, the leaders of that particular cult must search the appropriate solution to it. Although it’s highly daring job. Because, if other people talk about these drawbacks, the society, nation and world will witness hatred, violence, tension, struggle, etc. The true meaning of religion is – best behavior, lovingness towards everybody, equality, unity, justice, coexistence, universal brotherhood, higher ideal, moral values and great thought, human values, etc. The religion is an eternal, scientific, universal, natural, welfare, practical truth. Various symbols and worshiping traditions are the sectarian tradition. We must see this diversity in context of beauty of existence and pride and obligation towards our great ancestors. We must understand religion, cult and sect and lead a life full of love and affection, coexistence, etc.

The people shouldn’t hate or discriminate others while expanding their own cult, sect, ideology, and guru tradition. They must get rid of the view that their cult is the best and others are bad. This thought is totally wrong. Theory of ‘I am the best and the others too are the best’ is scientific and practical truth. Evaluating people’s greatness, ability, success, etc, based on cult is unjustifiable. All the cults have same religion, spirituality and spiritual values. Unity and love are the basis of all the cults and its beauty, social, historical and political facts are its diversity. The fundamental values and proofs of all the religions and cults are same. Despite having different definitions and philosophical rituals, they have same root.

Unbiased thought in reference to political favor -oppose

Although there are various sectarian traditions in the field of religion, spiritualism and sectarian, they have share similar fundamental values. Similarly, the political parties must have similar values like religious and behavior purity, faith, commitment, acceptability of ultimate God and system. The politics aims at bringing overall development, prosperity, happiness, safety of nation, basic facilities—bread, cloth and house, electricity, water, road, transport, health for the citizens. The government has to provide justice, justifiable freedom justifiable utilization of national resources, distribution, etc to the citizens. Political leaders are supposed to run the government through participation of all the stakeholders. 

Devising good policies keeping in mind the country’s future for the next 100-200-500 years, providing competent leadership to the country, making strong decision, etc are  political objectives. They must take the country on the path of overall prosperity. The political parties have their own style to run the government. In the country like UK, USA, Europe, Australia, Japan, Israel, the political system is liberal, biased, etc. Some of them give priority to the labour, agriculture, business, education, health, research, economy depending upon the population, public emotion, global context, collective consciousness and awareness of citizens.

Therefore, the political leaders must sacrifice hatred, violence, cruelty, destruction, etc to implement their policies, priorities like USA, UK, Europe, Australia, etc.

Religious hatred, political enmity, etc, are not beneficial for any country. There should be an ideal politics. They must fulfill their responsibility of higher ideals, values or theories to build nation prosper, happy and peaceful. If society, nation and world are filled with such non-violence, pure, scientific, logical, practical, universal, justifiable, divine political, religious, economical, social and educational system, then the entire universe will become beautiful, prosper and great. It will happen, but at the same time there are some bad people. Political and religious power hatch various type of conspiracies, doubt, misconception, rum ours to divide society. It poses great problem, challenge and crisis for society, nation and world.
We arrive at the conclusion that we must become nationalist, spiritualist, true, great human being instead of extremist, terrorist, violent, etc. We must do our duty with totality, balance, justice, natural religion under sheer guidance of the ultimate God.

There should be divinity in our view and duty. The human being must move on the path of nature, divine culture, pure non violence, etc, through samyakmati, samyakbhakti, samyakkriti. This should be the yardstick of religion, economy, sex and moksha of all the people. The moksha means free from wrong thoughts, prejudice, demerits, bad habits, entire weakness, grief and association with divinity. Various type of major and micro ignorance in the life and weakness cause poverty, grief, violence, struggle, war, destruction, demolition and injustice, etc. Therefore, an ideal education system will play an important role in building wise and progressive people, society, nation and world. The society must be free from ignorance, darkness, hypocrisy, misconception.

Economy and education system

Spiritual philosophy of economy is that our knowledge, skill and entire capability must be for the service. There are various models of economy, capital, property, prosperity and development are present in the world. There are four type of philosophy—spiritualism, socialism, communism and capitalism. There are three type of habits—satvik, rajasik and tamasik. There are two type of development—violent and non violent. Various type of toxic materials are used in violent farming, while in non violent farming, natural substance is used. Violent business includes addiction, non vegetarian and cruelty towards living things, etc, and non violent business includes no cruelty towards any living things, animals, human being. In fact this business brings prosperity for all. Such type of stable, pure, outer and internal development is non violent development. Similarly, the way the students are imparted with education about diet, thoughts, speech, behavior, nature, social, religious, economical, political, personal, family and universal references and subjects, etc, their primary understanding in all the subjects gets developed. The way we are trained in the field of education, medical treatment, language, civilization, history, science, technology, life science, skills, materialistic and spiritual truth, livelihood, special objective, responsibility, common truth, eternal truth, material and spiritual prosperity, atmosphere, their thoughts, ideologies, etc, develop.

Therefore, if we want to build a great life, society, nation, world, we will have to make positive, qualitative, pure, scientific and justifiable change in the education and economic sectors. There are four types of supreme systems—political, religious, spiritual or educational and economical. In today’s context, political system rests with vast power to devise policies. Political power or system or political leadership are the expression of all type of situations and mental condition of society and nation. The political power is the supreme. Therefore, the political power must be pure. Although, religious power, economy and education system can’t be underestimated. As far as the current situation of the country is concerned, all the systems are matured. No political party is in a position to break religious, social, economical and educational fabric of the country. The government has the constitutional power to make sea change or reform in the country. If the longtime work is done in the field of religion, education, society and economy with seriousness, authenticity and farsightedness, all the sectors will witness a sea change. The entire effort will affect the political system of the country. A major political leadership can be groomed. It’s true that the crowd makes no big change is made. Therefore, great human being plays important role in character, nation and era building. Making a great personality is the best work in the world. Let’s do the work in this direct and protect the country from anarchy, violence, hatred, anger and destruction. 

    Today, we have met here on the occasion of completion of glorious 25 years service of Patanjali Yogpeeth. It’s an important and a historical moment for the crores of brothers and sisters associated with the Patanjali and Patanjali Yogpeeth family. Param Pujya Swami Jee and Param Shradheya Gurujee are making aware all of us of that history. We are discussing the great works being done by you through Patanjali. The people must know it. Everything comprises two parts one is front and other is back. It’s quite impossible to evaluate the front of movements of Patanjali. The meaning of front is whatever is before us. And back is that which is behind it and nobody is able to see it. It makes great impact on the society, people and materials. The Patanjali is probably a single institution or organization which is fully involved in every movement and work necessary for religion, culture, human beings and the nation. If we talk about involvement, we can say that we are fully involved in it. 

The Patanjali is a leading institution in various fields and it works at primary level. As far as the matter of its form and understanding it, it’s getting expanded at large scale through inclusion of various works and movements. It’s beyond consideration how will the people evaluate it. The people are yet to know the various works being conducted by us. I don’t know many works being done by Shradheya Swami Jee and probably Swami Jee himself is not aware of the works being done by me. It means that its diversity and deepness are the preface which is seen from front side. Then how will common people evaluate it? The people try to understand the works being done by the Patanjali through their association with it. I am glad that they feel positivity, sympathy and selflessness. The entire citizens in the country talk about us with pride. It’s great achievement for us to complete diversified work in record time. All the great personalities like warriors, martyrs, revolutionaries, spiritualists, etc are respectable for us. But every great personality chose his/her own particular field and worked tirelessly. But Patanjali is providing service in every field. Today, the people consider the Patanjali Yogpeeth as the sacred spiritual place where they get benefitted from veda, shastra, darshan, sadhana, etc. The Patanjali is probably the single institution in the world where small children to older people in the age group of 70-80 years study veda, shastra, etc. When Gurujee teaches Grammar it seems that the entire Patanjali is studying Grammar, while Pujya Sadhvi Devapriya Jee teaches Philosophy, then it seems that everybody is engrossed in pursuing Philosophy. When Pujya Sadhvi Devamayi Jee teaches Sanskrit to the children, then it seems that everybody is reciting Sanskrit. When our sanyasi arrives, it seems that entire Patanjali is filled with chanting of shastra. Yagya is performed in the morning. When a person performs a yagya, he gets published pamphlets, leaflets depicting 21 kundiya yagya, 11 kundiya yagya, 5 kundiya yagya, etc. I was calculating that the havan is conducted around 21-25 places in the Patanjali campus daily. It means that 25 kundiya yagya is conducted here at Patanjali daily. Lakhs of rupees is being spent in the yagya. We have started langar service in the name of Sant Ravidas Jee at Maharshi Valmiki Ashram where cereal field of Patanjali is situated. Thousands of people eat daily there. Around 30, 000-40, 000 people take meal daily in all the campuses of Patanjali. Approximately, Rs 3.5 crore is being spent on the vegetables annually in the institution. If we talk about ration, the institution requires many trucks full of cereals. Around 10-15 trucks are engaged in transporting only ration. There are various branches and sub-branches of the institutions. For the first time in the history, such a large institution was established in record time. It gives glimpse of famous universities like Takshshila, Nalanda and Ujjaini in the field of education. But at the same time, around 10, 000 students were studying there too. But at the Patanjali, around 30, 000-40, 000 students are studying at present. Shradheya Swami Jee is looking forward to construct a global university where one lakh students can study. The dream will get realized. Other subject is the yog. Patanjali continues to conduct yog classes. When the people participate in the yog, it seems that they practise yog at the largest institution. All of you know that lakhs of people visit here to practise yog every year and enjoy facilities like food, accommodation and yog training free of cost. If we talk about skill development, the Patanjali is doing tremendous work in this field. The government needs to make effort at large scale in this field. According to government data, around 62 lakh people have been imparted with training under skill development programme. Here at the Patanjali, crores of people have already been trained in various fields. The Patanjali Yog Samiti is conducting around one lakh yog classes. It’s a tremendous task. Similarly, if we talk about the ayurved, a separate Health Ministry was formed in 1995 and in the same year a trust was set up. If we compare the works being done by both of these, whatever activities the Health Ministry conducts, are the domain of Patanjali. If we evaluate works independently, the Patanjali is doing four times more work in comparison to the Health Ministry. We have conducted research on it. There are various institutions for research and publications from CCRA.  But the Patanjali is the single institution which has conducted great task of research and publication independently. Many people consider Patanjali in the context of only preparing and selling medicines, I would like to inform them that the Patanjali is spending thousands of rupees annually in the field of ayurved. However, the government is supposed to do it. The Patanjali has made great effort to aware the people over ayurved in last few years. Whatever government policies were made for advertising ayurved, remain the same even today. Because, everything is revolving around in the government system. The Patanjali is such institution which is going ahead whether it’s research on yog, research on ayurved, research on medical treatment. In the field of medical treatment, the Patanjali is providing medical advice to the patients free of cost. Even government hospitals too charge Rs 10 for registration of patients. Despite being the private institution, the Patanjali is providing medical advice to around 50, 000 patients free of cost daily. If we charge Rs 100 from every patient, it will amount to Rs 50 lakh daily. We can earn Rs 10-15 crore every month only through registration fee of the patients. But, the Patanjali doesn’t aim at it. The government should exercise such a great task. But, the Patanjali is providing such service to the patients easily free of cost. For this work, we have to spend crores of rupees over salaries of doctors, maintenance of hospital and other arrangements. Apart from it, the entire digital data of the patients has been collected through EMR system. Data and entire documentation are available with us. I remember our respected Mumbai based Gupta Jee who provided software of crores of rupees. He didn’t reveal his name. He is a unique example of donor. His entire institution maintains digitalization work of the Patanjali. We are glad to inform that  we have data of around one crore patients under EMR. Such data is not available with the government record. If we evaluate, we will find that around 10 crore patients got benefitted from medical treatment being provided at the Patanjali. The patients hailing from 70 countries have visited Patanjali Yogpeeth, Yogagram, Niramayam so far. The Patanjali has made great contribution in providing India, glory of India, diversity of India, rishi tradition of India to the entire world. It’s beyond comparison. Providing service is the great example of it. If we talk about naturopathy, yogagram is such institution where the patients are still availing treatment even severe cold. Even the poor can take benefit from it. The government has provided NABH Accreditation for research. We have three world level research labs where hundreds of scientists are conducting research. This research is not for earning money but for service to the nation. All the workers associated with the Patanjali and its various service sankalp are contributing in realizing Shradheya Swami Jee’s dream. Whatever resources Patanjali have, will be utilized for service to the nation. If we have a single rupee, we try to utilize it for work worth Rs 100. Therefore, you can see that Shradheya Swami Jee and I myself am frugal and engaged in social service. Despite having resources, taking about sacrificing it is soothing. It’s imitating. It’s a great lesson for the world. We are working on it how to utilize the resources for society. Today, there are two NABH accredited hospitals with ultra modern apparatus. We have established ayurved and yog at scientific parameter. All the parameters are modern and the patients are treated through yog and ayurved. The Patanjali has huge panchkarm, shaktarm centre, OPD and IPD. The IPD charge is only Rs 50, while the poor patients are provided treatment free of cost. The Patanjali is the only hospital providing such facility. This is an entire prakalp of service.

We have done tremendous work over bio research in the field of cow rearing and bio farming. The Patanjali is doing hard work on bio compost, vermin compost, nedap, extracting oil from traditional articles like kolhu ox. We have seen that no compound gets destroyed while extracting oil from kolhu ox. We are working on this model to bring the people on pure and aesthetic path. The people must use oil extracted from kolhu ox to get rid of various diseases. The villagers must start work to utilize ox in extracting oil to increase the number of cows. The process can save them from going to slaughters. We have already utilized ox in the various works like running flour chakki, producing electricity, kolhu, furrow, buggi, etc. The Patanjali is making available gonile made up of cow urine as bioproduct. We prepare around 50 tonne godhan ark daily. After processing, we are able to prepare around 20 percent ark. It can be imagined that how much work is being done in the field of cow conservation. If we talk about cow milk and ghee, it was available at lower price in India. The people used to sell cow ghee by turning it into buffalo ghee through processing. There was less demand of cow ghee. Through hard work of Shradheya Swami Jee, the use of cow ghee became double. The people started to rear cow. We have started DNA mapping of cows. We are preparing an arranged gene bank with entire classification and data of separate gene. We are also doing work on seeds. The people are unaware that we prepare seeds and make them available to the farmers. We are proud that despite big multinational companies, the Patanjali has made effort in the field of fortification and started food fortified concept in the country. Fortification means to include nutrients in the cereals without changing its taste. The process of fortified product production is based on parameters of FSSAI and quality and food safety management system. The fortification process in all the manufacturing units is highly scientific and validated. The Patanjali is also working on the organic bio fortification under which, bio fortified seeds are prepared by including required elements like zinc, iron, vitamins, micronutrients. We are glad that this work is getting nationwide recognition. The ICCR had halted this work. Now, the Patanjali is fulfilling this work. The Patanjali is working on production of bio fertilizer, bio compost and bio organic seeds. Under skill development programme for doubling farmers’ income, we have started bio farming training successfully in 18 states. Thousands of farmers are leading a happy life. If the government cooperates with us, we will able to reach benefit to the lakhs of farmers in the country.

In the field of ayurved, Divya Pharmacy is playing important role. The foreign companies aim at only earning money, but we prepare medicines with a view to providing service to the people. Many medicines are divya. One of them is ‘Dengunal Vati which has been undertaken clinical trial successfully on 1850 patients after clinical control trial, pre-clinical trial, invitro toxicology, pharmacology. The patients got benefitted from it. The patients spent lakhs of rupees in allopathic treatment while dengue wrecking havoc. The Patanjali distributed dengunal vati free of cost to the patients. We have a complete data of the patients who got benefit from dengue through use of dengunal vati. Lakhs of people got rid of diabetes and hypertension by using madhunashini and muktavati respectively. However, these diseases can be controlled though yog, but the patients have to use medicines due to laziness. You can control diseases through yog, but at the same time if it becomes necessary to use medicines, then use only ayurvedic medicines.

Now the Patanjali has started new revolution in the field of education, after yog, ayurved and swadeshi. The Patanjali is preparing sadhu-sadhvi, celibates at the Patanjali Bal Gurukulam, Vedic Gurukulam and Vedic Kanya Gurukulam for the service to the nation. ‘Acharyakulam’ which is unique experiment ancient culture and modern education is creating new record daily. The Patanjali is also running Patanjali University and Patanjali Ayurved College successfully. Pujya Swami Jee has aimed at constructing Patanjali University with capacity of around one lakh students on the model of Nalanda, Takshshila and Ujjaini through inclusion of modern education in the next 4-5 years. It’s quite impossible without the God’s blessings. Preparing sanyasi like him is quite tough task. Hundreds of brothers and sisters have become sanyasi under his sheer guidance and thousands others are ready to become sanyasi. Think big to become great. Yo bhuma tatsukham na alpe sukhamasti I Over 10, 000 people visit Patanjali Yogpeeth- I and II, Yogagram, Niramayam, etc to get benefit of direct services of Patanjali. I was looking after maintenance of Patanjali Food Park where thousands of suppliers and distributors are engaged. If you estimate that the number of people getting benefited from Patanjali, it will become clear that around one percent population of India means 1.5 crore people are getting benefitted from Patanjali directly or indirectly. If 100 institutions like Patanjali are established, the country will turn into haven. How many people are required for this? There are only two persons are doing tapasya here at Patanjali, then 100 such institutions need 200 people. Swami Vivekanand died while searching for 100 sanyasi like him. Shradheya Swami Jee has found several hundreds sanyasi. But, we have to develop our thought and strength. On many occasions, we fail to complete big task due to trivial thought.

We have to get rid of it. I would like to say to the people of India that if you support Patanjali, then your fortune is the fortune of country and culture. Because, whatever work is being done for culture conservation and nation building, are rarely seen in the centuries. You have the golden opportunity to create history. On this sheer occasion, the God has dispatched you to do your duty. The Patanjali Yogpeeth is the place for tapa, sadhana, and duty. You have come here to get prepared yourself. Many people ask us why are we engaged in this work day-night? We are glad to see happiness on the face of people. We do our duty to get this happiness. If we think that we have to lead a happy and peaceful life, what should we need after it? Why do we make more effort? You can easily reply me. Had we provided peaceful life, we would have been set up hospitals and educational institutions for tribals free of cost in the North East Region. We thought that whatever we do, do for the society. We have to do it uninterruptedly. We have to do our duty spontaneously. Get blessed in work meant for service. It will provide energy and strength. The Patanjali is preparing sanyasi/sanyasini and celibates at large scale. No institution in the country is doing such work despite having resources. Do your duty devotionally as long as you can. Get prepared yourself for service to the nation.

This very year will be celebrated as rajat varsh, tap varsh, seva varsh and sadhana varsh entire year. The entire citizens of the country must try hard to beautify their works and activities. We will celebrate this year by augmenting the activities and diversities of life. Do every work for the countrymen like yog class, plantation, blood donation and training programme, etc wholeheartedly. Our rajat varsh will be celebrated entire year. It will end at the time of kumbh. Whatever activities we do, will be presented during kumbh. We will present jhanki to give inspiration of service to the entire world. Our tap, strength, commitment, etc will be for our society, nation and rishi tradition. We offer naman to all of you.

Swami ji: As far as Ruchi Soya is concerned this entire matter was with NCLT and we have saved an indigenous company from getting bankrupt at this we have saved thousands of people from losing their jobs. Apart from this will also give employment to 10 to 20 thousand people with in a year. In which we have jobs for the plantation of palm besides we also have a contract with farmers for work of palm plantation on a land measuring 2.5 lakh hectare. This will bring prosperity in the lives of lacs of farmers and it is our resolve that in the coming 5 years the project cost of this plantation workers which is at present Rs. 3000 crore will grow up to Rs. 5,000 crore.
We have not acquired this company which is called Ruchi Soya for business purposes but our principle is that this country is not a market for us but it is our family. There are 22 factories order Ruchi Soya and If we had allowed foreign companies to have their Monopoly in the market by seeing the company getting into bankruptcy, it would have rendered directly or indirectly lakhs of people unemployed. Wilmar is a foreign company and it still has a huge market share and if we had not taken over Ruchi Soya then about 70 to 80% Indian market of edible oil would have been dominated by MNCs. This is not only the question of taking over of Ruchi Soya by Patanjali in the FMCG market but our dream has been to protect our country from the economic and cultural loot and we are glad that we have succeeded in our endeavour to a great extent. You also deserve greetings for this great achievement as Patanjali belongs to all of us including you. Patanjali works for the prosperity of the country and there is no personal interest of Swami Ramdev involved in it and no doubt we have also taken a huge loan from banks which we have to repay and we also have to ensure prosperity in the lives of people who are working day in and day out and apart from this whatever is the earning as a profit , 100% of it has to be invested for charitable purposes which is our resolve that prosperity for charity as we have been working on this line.
In the worst condition the overall turn over of Ruchi Soya has Bin Rs 13000 crore and it is our target that by the March we have to take it up to Rs. 15000 crore and moreover we have also at target of taking this to Rs. 25 to 30000 crore in the coming years.

Ques: In the last 6 months Patanjali's revenue has been highest. Does it mean that baba is Pioneer in this games?

Swami ji: some people are blowing rumours disproportionately that Patanjali has got out of the game but you cannot reject the the true data. We have a dream to keep this country moving ahead in the world and for this we have been working 18 hours everyday. Event today I practice yoga at 4 o'clock after which I left for my Karma Yoga I work for 18 hours and I have not taken a single day's leave, not even once in my life.

Ques: In the capital we have been witnessing on one hand Priyanka Gandhi's demonstration at India Gate, on the other hand we have seen students' protest over the issue of CAA, such a huge commotion in the country? What are your views over the issue of CAA, government's stand and the police action against the protesting students?

Swami ji: My views are not different from the views of the rest of the country. Why should even a single illegal migrant be allowed to live in the country? Is it possible for any of our citizens to live in the countries like USA , Canada, UK, Australia and Japan illegally. On one hand you have been living here illegally and on the other hand you have resorted to vandalism in support of your demand which is totally illegal. You have been engage in violent activities actually 99 percent of those who are living here illegally are engaged in violence and such illegal immigrants are being listed which is a good initiative. They are inciting violence and hiding themselves behind other faces.
If illegal immigrants will be allowed to live in the country our national security will be in a great danger and another important thing is that Hindus gents Buddhists and Sikhs are women allowed while others are not. Today's I would say that our constitution does not talk about religion and we cannot allow India to become a safe haven for illegal immigrants and endangered our national security.

Ques: people say that in the citizens Amendment Act to Muslims are being discriminated what are your views on this?

Swami ji: This is not the matter related to Muslims. Actually in Bangladesh and Pakistan they are Islamic countries and one can hardly believe that Muslims will be persecuted there in fact Hindus, Sikhs, Christians and other non Muslims are definitely persecuted there.
This is a matter of our country and we should not mix it up with the affairs of any foreign country. If the provisions of our constitution will not be implemented in our country would they be implemented in Pakistan and Bangladesh they are Islamic countries and how one can believe that Muslims are persecuted in those countries. Why do Muslims come to our countries from those Islamic countries they claim to be Refugee but the reality is different which is evident from the growing population of Muslims in those countries while declining population of non Muslims in those countries so who are being persecuted.
Some leaders are telling lies in the country in the Parliament and some media people are also lying that the government is discriminating people on their religious line. Those who have come from Pakistan and Bangladesh illegally and want refuse they want to increase the population of India.
The population of our country has been increasing uncontrollably and why should we allow others to come and stay here as we are thinking over reducing our population by allowing only to children to be Borne by a couple and we are also contemplating over population control law only then this country can be saved just go outside and see at public places you will find use crowds and you won't get a place to stand properly just go on the railway station which will be highly crowded as if there is a big public rally.
Ques: You have also been sitting the battle of India made vs. foreign made and same thing applies in case of CAA and NRC and questions will definitely arise on them which is after all the society and the government could not take the people of Muslim community into confidence which is responsible for about 4000 people taking to streets of Delhi against CAA.

Swami ji: Indian Muslims have faith in India and India also trust them and this is not my personal opinion but today on this program of Aaj Tak agenda I would like to say that when Mr Narendra Modi was the Chief Minister of Gujarat I had three or four times meetings with him and he had told me that there are 18 to 20 crore Muslims in India and India cannot move forward without taking along this community. I I wish for the prosperity of Muslims as well as the other communities of India. Even now just one month after he became the Prime Minister I talked to him and on the court's verdict on Ram Mandir case he told me he wanted to take Muslims as well with him and this Prime Minister wants the association of everyone and prosperity of everyone living in the country. I have always said that our religious beliefs could be different but our ancestors are the same which shows that we share the same ancestors , thoughts , Sanskar and the country. And with this there is no reason for anyone to feel insecured.  nobody could save those who are about to die or who feel unnecessarily in secured.  Who can threaten Indian Muslims who has done injustice to them just go and see the situation in Pakistan and Bangladesh and it is the fact that we have given highest place to Indian Muslims in every field like education health care agriculture business trade media and all walks of life. Here at Patanjali Yogpeeth 20- 25% Muslims are working and they are holding the positions from a worker to top officials. From our Patanjali institute to all other sectors of economy and other walks of life we have been seen the prosperity of Muslims and it is unfortunate that despite this fact some people say that Muslims of this country are scared. It is here in a country like India where people electc Owaisi type of mindless person as the member of parliament and if he feel scared then who does not? He talks nonsense and we often agree to listen to him and he also get a chance to speak such things even from the stage of this Agenda Aaj Tak and he should be thankful to the people that he does not face their anger. Even after all this he says that he feels scared. Actually his intentions are wrong he wants to create a new Pakistan inside this country and he wants to become a second genre.
Ques: Actually what Baba Ramdev has been saying has failed to induce a sense of confidence among Muslims and the commotion which we have been witnessing from Jamia to other parts of the country it is being said that first CAA and then in NRC will be implemented which is the part of the agenda of the BJP to dissociate Muslims from this country and promote the agenda of RSS to make India a Hindu Nation and it also seems that Swami Ramdev Ji is supporting this agenda BJP and RSS.

Swami ji: This is not a matter of Hindu and Muslim, my question is if any person should be allowed to live in India illegally and on the other hand who are refugees? Pakistan and Bangladesh both are Islamic countries so how can Muslims be persecuted there, actually non-muslims in these countries are tortured and persecuted.

Ques: does this mean you fully support the stand of Modi government?

Swami ji: Actually I am a citizen of this country and not an agent of any political party and neither Amit Shah nor Narendra Modi can force any citizen, living here legally,
to leave the country who is  and even if anything is like this is done by the government I will be the first man to oppose such moves.

Ques: The police has been accused of brutally assaulting the students of Jamia University what are your views on this if anybody opposes the policies of a government would he be like this?

Swami ji: First we should discuss the issue which is being opposed by the students and my question is if any illegal migrant be allowed to live in the country and another thing is that where the laws of India will be implemented- in this country or in Pakistan or Bangladesh and one more thing I would like to add here that the way of protest must be peaceful and non violent. I have also  led a movement between 2009 and 2013 that is for five long years and around 10 crore people participated in the movement but I never resorted to arson, destroying the national properties as this is my country and we cannot harm the wealth of the country.

Ques: Do you think it is appropriate on parts of the police to enter into Jamia University's library, use tear gas destroy things there?

Swami ji: They say that those who were involved in arson were not the students of Jamia and why were they not arrested, university has refused to admit that they were its students then tell us the name who were engaged in violent activities? Wad there any name written on the forehead of those who resorted to violent activities?

Ques: On the issue of population control you often say that small families are the family of Patriots and comparing 2005 , 2015 and 2016 in the last few years in most States it has been observed that population growth rate has declined and in the light of this fact why do you think that population is responsible for all the major problems faced by the country?

Swami ji: If a person is living in the country illegally and when it will be time to send him out of this country then he will say that he will arson this country. I want to mention here that this is our country and we will never allow this country to get arsoned. It is my appeal to to the legal citizens of this country not to get involved in in such violent activities Pathways with those who are living here illegally and let them do all this all alone. Never stand by those who are on the wrong side and I will not support even I Hindu of this country who is on the wrong side I will always stand by the nation just check the example of Australia which is more than two times bigger than India but its population is not more than the population of Delhi and moreover the United States of America is more than 3 times bigger than India but its population is three times less than our population. Infrastructure is limited roads schools colleges resources and land all are limited and it is a fact that growing population pressure will increase the problem of a country and therefore it is a real issue and this should not be made a communal issue and should not be promoted as a Hindu Muslim divide. If a family has Limited number of children Limited number of members it will be prosperous happy and healthy and increasing the number of children is not a matter of pride and if anything that will make you feel proud is to ensure good health care facilities education prosperity and happiness for your children. I am of the view that as a human being I have got right to live but my this right should not interfere into the rights of living that has been guaranteed to others it is my freedom to give birth to my children but this should not impede the prosperity of others and if my rights create any kind of problems to others then it is a big issue and this issue should be discussed without politicizing it.

Ques: What is your view on much talked about issue of current economic recession in the country?

Swami ji: There is a tough time on economic front and we should face it together as this country does not belong to a single political party and all of us will have to serve it.

Ques: Rahul Bajaj saved that he feels scared in expressing his views. Does Baba Ramdev also feel so?

Swami ji: Rahul Bajaj said that you are doing a good job I had meeting with him and I also talked to him on phone and he told me that all the Industrialist were sitting and was saying just nothing and he said formally that nobody was opening his mouth which was blown up disproportionately. Mr Bajaj has made a great contribution in the country and as far as my fear psychosis is concerned I don't feel scared of anyone. Doors va working well should not feel scared. Only those people should fear who are doing wrong things.

Ques: What is the secret of your diet that you don't feel cold even in this low temperature?

Swami ji: Add turmeric powder in milk and drink it as this will protect you from cold and if you add a little bit of Shilajit in your milk then you will not be required to wear cloth . Patanjali chyawanprash Boosts your immunity but these are temporary solutions and if you do yoga for half an hour everyday specially Surya Namaskar then you will not have to spend even a single penny on medicines. 

   Respected Swami Ramdev Ji Maharaj, Sadhvi Dev Priya , Dr Jagdeep Arya, Bhai Rakesh ji, Sudhanshu Ji and other sages besides the members of national executive and other Well wishers. Now I am going to express my views in front of you and I would like to admit that I came here on the directives of respected Swamiji however my visit here was not satym till yesterday and it is a matter of great pride for me that I could be present to serve in the feet of respected Swami ji in the presence of such a great sages yoga Aacharya my presence here amid my busy political schedule is like a festivity and it is really a great opportunity with the divine Grace has come to me. There are three things in the world that comes to us with the grace of God first of them is the life of a human being which is attained with a great difficulty however it is also a fact that despite getting the life of a human being we can still remain like an animals. If there had been a machine to scan our character and nature it would have been known easily that in every 1000 people how many are true humans. Second one is Mumukshattam. This means the desire for freedom which is the real wisdom of a human being and in every moment of life we wish for salvation that is freedom but we unnecessary move towards slavery of life. Since we don't know this therefore we have a requirement for a mentor or a Guru. People make efforts to get rid of poverty, they also try to get rid of the lack of knowledge they also try to become stronger and become complete and come out of the cycle of life and death because human life is full of pain therefore he works to get rid of this pain.
Gautam Buddha did penance to get rid of this pain and the main purpose behind his penance was to get free from this pain and get bliss as you know that a cricketer works hard, struggles a lot on the field of his game for his own bliss and this is the reason why a scientist works hard in his laboratory because human is an epitome of bliss. Almighty is also an epitome of bliss and presence in the uterus of mother can also be painful and diseases , old age, physical disability, being surrounded by unwanted things, painful things not being able to get the things that you love all give us pain getting away from our dear ones and association with bad people also give us pain and to get rid of this pain is the ultimate goal of human life therefore the desire to get salvation and become free is the ultimate goal of life which is called Mumuksha.
Why has God sent us on the earth? Is it only to enjoy food and die one day? This cannot be the purpose of life.

The third is the association with great people and these three things come to us with the grace of God and this is the reason why  all those who are sitting here I want to say them that the blessings which now we are getting of many Saints is with the blessing of Swami Ramdev Ji Maharaj. Therefore I am also a participant along with you and it is a matter of great Fortune for me because we have got the blessings of almighty and India's greatest wealth Swami Ramdev Ji Maharaj who is a superhero or a Mahanayak and you must have heard of his life and achievements. He has got such a great height or Zenith and it starting from scratch and brought a lot of respect for this great Institute and it is not meant for running an organisation but to tie the whole world in the thread of spiritualism. To make the human life divine and real divinity lies in human life but the way sometimes we see the sky is overcast here also the darkness of materialism has to be removed. This is the sole objective of Swami Ramdev Ji and as you are his Soldiers and I have come here to seek your blessings . I don't have a courage to preach you or deliver speech in front of you because in fact when I see you I become very humble  where I get to know what a strength Swami Ramdev Ji has added in the world this makes me to live very humble.
Once Swami Vivekananda had said that going to temple a Mosque or Church all these principles are useless because the divinity of Being Human lies in the expression of divinity and following this path. Swami Ramdev Ji is taking the nation for long way in this direction and it has to be the subject associated with it one of which is Patanjali Yogpeeth and the second one is Bharat Swabhiman and the third one is Ayurveda which is being guided by a great gem Aacharya Balkrishna Ji Maharaj. The white ray which comes out of these three dimensions is making the whole country feel very proud and there are many great men who have predicted that this century will be the century of India and this is going to be true and one can clearly see that the sky of the east has become reddish and this is showing what is in fact Bharat Swabhiman because when we analyse the history without any partiality we know that it is the oldest country of the world still it is not an old country. It is new everyday and it is always blissful and this is the land which has given knowledge to the whole world and Indian students go to Europe America to learn things but thousands of years ago when we had the great universities like Nalanda Takshila Kurukshetra Ujjain here in India then students from across the world would come here to get education. Today I again see the old days returning back which Swami Ramdev Ji like a great spiritual personality in his patronage the same old tradition of Gurukul and University where the students from across the world will pay a visit to get education and and today you see that today we are going to Germany USA and Harvard for education but that is not education it is only information that we get there and if information was education then Encyclopaedia would have been the most educated in the world . I have led a movement against alcohol habit but I have secondary information or experience about it and those who have primary experience they don't have enough courage and strength to get rid of it therefore information does not empower a man and we have to find the solution how to make people empowered and this is  eing done by Swami Ramdev Ji who is empowering people by educating them not by informing them only Ramdev ji has been doing this here by the means of yoga. The practice of yoga is insect vidhanta and affordable Prime Minister of this country when visited abroad and had said and he is also supported by many here that India is not a country but it is a continent it is not a nation but a group of nations and is not one culture but it is a joint culture but this view is based on falsehood we have one country from Kashmir to Kanyakumari and this is inseparable and our path could be different but our target is the same power resources could be different but our goal is the same our means of livelihood could be different but life is same our creation could be different but literature is the same our language could be different but the feelings are same our motion could be different but our culture is the same. This is our Hindu culture and Indian culture and love this world because we are Indian and our tradition teaches us- Shrinvantu Vishwa Amritasya Putrah. Our ancestors nowhere said that rest of all are sonners on the contrary they said that everyone in all parts of the world are Hindu Muslim Christian Sikh and all are the children of one God everybody has the divinity of The Almighty and we consider everybody sacred therefore we should feel proud of being an Indian and Swami Vivekanand ji had also said in America - Sisters and brothers of America,  It fills my heart with a great joy unspeakable to rise in response to the warm and cordial welcome which you have given us and I thank you in the name of most ancient order of monks in the world I thank you in the name of the mother of religions and I thank you in the name of millions and millions of Hindu people all classes and sects. I am proud to belong to a nation which has sheltered the persecutors and refugees of all religions and all nations of the earth.
As long as a great sage like Swami Ramdev Ji is here nobody can malign the pride of this country and today India is among the most reputed countries in the world and when he proposed to celebrate June 21 as the world yoga day our respected and dear Prime Minister happily agreed to it and a discussion started that whether yoga belongs to Hindus or Muslims or both and today 193 countries of the world including 50 Muslim countries are celebrating yoga day across the world. This means that India's spiritual Supremacy has been accepted by all the countries of the world and I can still remember when Swamiji had said that yoga will make an unwell person healthy and healthy person will become a yogi and a yogi will ensure the Welfare of the society and today this has become a reality. I have seen many persons who were suffering from diseases like cancer, diabetes and other such diseases and their problems got cured when they started practicing yoga regularly but the biggest thing is that yoga purifies a person's mind.
Our Gayatri Mantra is the biggest prayer in which a person doesn't seek things like prosperity strength power and enlightenment , but wants from the  almighty just make my mind move in the right direction. It is your brain which will allow you to know whether you have to go to the Ashram of Swami Ramdev Ji Maharaj or to the palace of Vijay Mallya and it will drive you in the right direction and if you have everything to your comfort still you loot this country and take the wealth of  the nation abroad this means your mind is not working in right direction greedy people cannot become honest by the means of science a traitor cannot be a patriot and a corrupt person cannot become an honest person and a thief cannot come on the right path by taking him to jail. Of course when you visit to the Ashram of Swami Ramdev Ji, it will help you to keep your mind on the right track and then your mind will start working properly you will be free from all sorts of impediments and despite all sorts of prosperity if your mind gets destructed out of track that everything will be destroyed therefore keep your mind in the right direction on the right track which is the most important thing in the world because this will possibly take you to the path of arrogance and this way you attain Antahkaran Chatushya which is the first lesson of yoga which is the first lesson of yoga and now we have to make the whole country prosperous and confident Nation and in the Destiny of India we have to bring Shine which is is undoubted and rise of India cannot be stopped by any force in the world because this mission has been launched by a great soul a great spiritual leader and everybody knows that Chandragupta was not be able to become the emperor unless he got the support of Chanakya. Rise of Chandragupta was not possible without the help of Aacharya Chanakya and same is the case applied with Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj whose  Guru Samarth Swami Ramdas gave strength to Shivaji to fight against Adil Shahi Nizam Shahi Mughal Shahi Qutub Shahi and British governments and this is how he established the reign of Hindutv which is called Hindu Padpadshahi Swami Vidyaranya helped Krishnadevaraya to establish a huge Empire and behind all the successes was the penance strength of a saints and today Prime Minister Narendra Modi's strength lies with our spiritual leaders and sages and this can never be destroyed. 

 Communication medium is deliberately disseminating false facts of some English words among a particular class in India. Secularism is such word which is portrayed as dharmnirpekshta through communication medium wrongly in a particular class. It aims at misguide religious Hindu citizens which is an offence according to IPC.

References have to be known for getting truth because this very word has been taken from Europe. Its root is in Europe.

Europe had remained under the influence of Christianity for 1000 years. They described it as 2000 years. The unbiased scholars themselves have written this truth. Reference of a book is enough in this regard. Norman Richard Devis is an honest Christian and an authentic scholar. He studied in the countries like England, France and Italy. His book ‘Europe: A History’ is famous. In a chart in the page number 1236, he has written that the Christianity had entered Europe in seventh century. It entered  Germany in eighth century and Russia, Poland, Serbia and Bulgaria in 10th century. It made foray in Norbey, Sweden, Finland in 11th, 12th, 13th century respectively. It spread in every country through violence. Then in 16th century, it faced massive opposition. Therefore, Europe had remained under influence of Christianity for 1000 years. In many countries, it had influenced for 400 years. Therefore, Europe is under Christian impact, while the Science has also made great effect on the intellectual class there.

The question will arise in the mind of readers that how the Hindu Religion means Sanatan Religion remained in practice for lakhs of years in India which has been bigger in size in every country of Europe. Why did the Christianity not spread in Europe and why is it marginalized? It’s an important question.
The reason behind it is that the Christianity is monotheist. It means that it considers only one path of feeling of the ultimate goal. The impact of this violent thought is that panthik violence increases in the matavad followers too and everybody has its own definition. Because, it’s totally opposite to the fundamental rule of existence ‘vaividhya’. Then every sub cult gets intolerant violently.

It happened in every country of Europe. Catholic and Prostate and Eastern Church have different views. One sub cult started to kill each other. Kalvinvadi, Jesuit seventh day adventurist started to scuffle with each other. Every cult started to say that only its own Christian sect can be alive in its state. Some laws were devised that the protestant can beat Catholic with chabuk whenever they want to. Highly violent laws were made and they are not necessary to be mentioned here. Lastly in the end of 17th century, some intellectuals started to say that this violent act must be stopped. Separate discussion had been held for 150 years at different places. At last, in 20th century, the use of secularism increased. But even today, secularism has more opponents.

The fundamental fact is that secularism has been used in the world to check scuffle among the Christians. Apart from it, the important fact is that no state has been called secular in the constitution of countries like England, France, Germany, Norvey, USA, Netherland, Denmark, Spain, Portuguese, Sweden, Switzerland, Japan, China, Russia, Vietnam, Korea, Malaysia, Indonesia, etc. No country out of which link secularism with its state. But majority of people in India are unable to know this fact due to ignorance. Some smaller states have declared themselves as secular, but many bigger states are either Christian or Muslims. Pakistan, Bangladesh, Afghanistan, Malaysia, Indonesia, Iran, Iraq, Arab, Oman, Kuwait, Jordon, Morocco, etc are the Muslim countries. Majority of Hindu don’t know it. All these Muslim countries declare that only ‘Allah’ is revered. And the entire world belongs to the Allah. And the last predecessor of Allah is the Prophet Muhammad. Therefore, the Muslims own the entire land and we will continue to work for it. Almost all the Muslim countries declare it in their constitution.

The Christian countries too used to declare that the Christians can use entire land. Now they changed their language. Now they talk about humanity but many Christian parties are active in every Christian country. They disseminate their ideology in the world. No famous Christian country is secular. But Christian cult is its official religion according to which the education and justice are imparted to the people.

Therefore, during emergency in India, the communists added the word secularism as adjective to the state. It should give special meaning. India is not a Christian state, therefore, there is meaning of Christianity. But honourable MP has not defined secularism clearly. Although, the honourable MP has right to define it and present it in black and white. We would like to draw your attention towards the most important facts:

Franko Maria Aaro Voltare opposed Christianity vehemently in 18th century and said that the ultimate god is known only through intellect instead of faith in the Christianity. The Christian God is a concept against the intellect. The Christian priests and kings have no right to control people’s personal spiritual thoughts. Voltaire supported new scientists and opposed the churches.

Thomas Jefferson opposed the particular cult of Christianity in 19th century. He said that the state must look after the working of the people instead of controlling their thought. Therefore, the USA must not have a national church because it will give pain to the Christians having faith in other churches.

The Christian scholars used the word secularism in political context for the first time in 20th century. They said that the state will support and provide shelter to no religion.      

According to some other scholars, the state must be limited to materialistic issues. It’s unjustifiable to take interest in religious issues.

It was also termed as oppose of anticlericalism.

Secularism has no such meaning in India.

Here, secularism means ignorance of Hindu religion by state and providing government subsidy to the religious education for Islam and Christianity. There is no such meaning in the entire world. It’s Hindus who deposit maximum government tax. 

Moreover, some people have given the Hindi word dharmanirpeksh which is totally wrong. Because, entry of word religion is entirely different in the English dictionary. It means that the global rules are universal among the Hindu and Buddhist religions. There is separate meaning of the word religion. It means that having faith in a particular cult proponent. Therefore, Islam and Christianity are religion not the dharm. The Hindu dharm is not the religion, it’s dharm. Today, the entire world knows it. Therefore, dharnirpekshta is filthy word because it’s bad habit.

In the authentic translation of the constitution, secularism is written as ‘panth nirpekshta’ and the honourable MP has passed it. Therefore, saying it dharm nirpekshta is totally unconstitutional. The state will support no particular cult, it’s called panth nirpekshta. But in India, in the name of sheltering the minority, the government provides due shelter to the religion. It’s an unconstitutional. The state should remain panth nirpeksh.

    Karm-yog’ is Gita’s own independent word. The Gita has provided a gift to the thought of world. Due to ‘karm-yog’, the Gita is still providing fresh message to the world as it had given to Arjuna who was disappointed at the battle field of Kurukshetra. Everybody in the life is Arjuna. Everybody has to face tough time in his/her life. Everybody started to cry by throwing weapons in the odd situation. Arjuna faced the enemies in the battle field by listening discourse of karm-yog which can also shed disappointment in us. Now question arises that the karm-yog which gave new lease of life to the disappointed people, turned feared people into bold ones and made karm-sanyasi to karm-yogi. What’s this? Let’s ponder over the obstacles coming on the path of becoming karmyogi.

Tamoguni says that he will do his duty after getting result. Rajoguni says that he will do his duty but at the same time he will possess the result. The perception of satvaguni people is similar to that of karmyog. It is the coordination of both the perceptions. In this, duty is not left like tamoguni and result is not possessed like rajoguni. This path of karmyog is called ‘nishkam-karm’. According to the Gita, the intellectual persons must do their duty by leaving their infatuation to the result. Do we not see that we can our duty, while we have no authority on the result. We do farming and the produce gets dried due to scanty rain. It gets affected due to thunderstorm, calamity, etc. We have no control over the result. We can do our duty and the result is beyond our control. Then why do we waste our energy on the longing for result? The Gita gives inspiration to us for accepting the facts. According to which, not aiming at the result while doing our duty is realistic outlook. Because despite longing for result, I have no right on it. ‘Karm-yog’ means having no longing for result, at the same time, it doesn’t mean that we leave hope for result. The meaning of ‘karm-yog’ is not leaving hope for result, but relinquishing possession on result, longing and attachment. The result of nishkam-karm is 100 times greater than that of sakam-karm, but they don’t consider their possession on it. According to Acharya Vinoba Bhave, nishkam-karm itself is result, therefore they don’t aim at other result. Why is nishkam-karm result? When the artist makes picture and if somebody asks him not to do it, whatever money you want, I will give you, then will he leave the idea of making the picture? If the poet is asked not to write poems and take money for it, then will he leave the idea of writing poems? The artist makes picture, the poet writes poem. They consider it their duty. They have no longing for result. They make picture for picture and write poem for poem. They are engaged in their duty as the sun continue to provide light to the world, the moon continue to make night lovely, the sky continue to shower rain and the air continue to give breath to the people. Such type of niskam karm has no comparison with sakam-karm.

‘Sarvabhutahite ratah’—it means that to consider all the animals as their own and engage in the welfare of others instead o their own. Those who see the God everywhere will see only one element everywhere. He will ready to remove sorrow and diseases of other people because he considers pain of other people as his own.

It’s your right to do your duty instead of leaving it. You have no right on result despite doing your duty. He must leave longing for result. While doing so, you won’t become the means of result, because duty being done with longing for result becomes the means for binding karmphal.

Yogasthah kuru karmani sadagan 
tyaktva dhananjaya I

Siddhiyasiddiyoh samo bhutva samatvam yog uchyate II Gita 2.48 II

Duren hvavaram karm 
buddhiyogaddhananjaya I

Buddhau sharanamnvichchha kripanah phalahetavah II Gita 2.49 II

Oh Dhananjay ! Leave the materialism and subjects and do yog it means that do your duty by considering siddhi or asiddhi as equal. Remaining calm in case of either success or failure is called yog because the condition of sakam karm in comparison to nishkam karm is trivial. Therefore, oh Dhananjay! Meet the samatvabuddhi people because those who aim at result while doing duty becomes poor.

Lord Shrikrishna has clearly said to Arjuna that you have the right to do your duty. Those who do their duty will certainly get desired result. But after doing duty, there are various types of causes in the consideration of result. It’s uncertain that he will get desired result. Therefore, don’t infatuate with result and do your duty by aiming at result because in that case poverty will envelop.

Buddhiyukto jahatih ubhe sukritadushkrite I
Tasmaddogay yujyasva yogah karmasu kaushalam II Gita 2.50 II

The intelligent people remain untouched with virtue and sin in this world. It means that he gets emancipated from it. Therefore, do yog because it’s wise step towards doing duty. Due to which, even duty binding people too become free.

Those who don’t become joyous after getting their desired result and become disappointed after getting bad result remain in the equilibrium by becoming stable, clear minded, etc.

Anashritah karmphalam 
karyam karm karoti yah I
Sa sanyasi cha yogi ch na niragnirna 
chakriyah II Gita 6.1 II

Those who do their duty without aiming at result are sanyasi and yogi. Those who relinquish only agnihotra are not sanyasi and those who leave activities are not yogi.

Jitatmanah prashantasya 
parmatma samahitah I
Shitoshnasukhaduhkheshu tatha manapamanayoh II Gita 6.7 II

Those who have won their soul means mind and intellect and got peace remain the same even in respect-disrespect, pain-prosperity, warm-cold. It means that they remain in equilibrium.

Yuktaharaviharasya 
yuktacheshtasya karmasu I
Yuktasvapnavabodhasya yogo bhavati 
dukhaha II Gita 6.17 II

Those who consume balanced and aesthetic diets and remain calm get the result of this yog. It lessens their pain. 

   What is the fundamental philosophy behind the Patanjali providing service regarding swadeshi and other subjects. Pujya Swami Jee said that the foreign companies conduct deep analysis to market and users and consumption of products before making foray to any country for business purpose. They ponder over that how much they will earn by investing their capital there. Their entire philosophy is based on the market. Every Indian is the customer for them, while the Patanjali considers India a family instead of market.

If we talk about market scenario, there were 16 lakh registered companies in India till last year. The Finance Ministry ordered to close around 4-5 lakh companies this year so far because they engaged in no activity. Not a single firm out of remaining 12 lakh companies is committed to pump its 100 percent revenue in the charity. It’s the Patanjali which is committed to invest its entire 100 percent profit in the charity. Param Pujya Swami Jee continues to give glimpse of swadeshi. Param Pujya Swami Jee has asked us to reject foreign companies of zero technique and adopt swadeshi. Earlier, whenever the swadeshi was discussed, then technique was opposed. Pujya Swami Jee Maharaj has shown practicality over it. Maharshi Dayanand was of view that truth has to be determined on the basis of logic. Based on the logic, he determined that we must oppose zero technique and develop our own technique.
Our great personalities supported swadeshi wholeheartedly. About Mahatma Gandhi, Swami Jee said that he may share different ideologically with him. But Mahatma Gandhi was great in some issues. He had proposed a theory in those days that he didn’t want socialism in this country. The communist countries have different atmosphere than that of India. Gandhi Jee had given the theory of trusteeship. According to him, those who run factories and institutions should keep their profit required for their maintenance and provide rest of money to country, society and charity. After assassination of Gandhi Jee, Jai Prakash Narayan Jee expressed the similar views. George Fernandez reiterated this in the Parliament. He wanted that the government brings such bill convincing the capitalists to pump their money in the charity work. After great efforts, the government brought bill over Corporate Social Responsibility in which it was decided that the companies will invest 2 percent of their profit in their social service. The trusteeship theory given by Mahatma Gandhi was not implemented in the country after 70 years. The Patanjali is the only institution which has realized the dream of bringing trusteeship in the country. The Patanjali has offered everything for the country and the society. Our theory is that whatever we will do, will do for service. The Patanjali industry is for service to the nation. The Patanjali makes various products for human being. It’s a saint who runs the Patanjali.

If we talk about taking the country on the path of prosperity, there are various great personalities. They include Dr Vikram Sarabhai upon which Pujya Swami Jee Maharaj has twitted. All of you must have heard of Chandrayan which was dispatched from ISRO. Sarabhai played an important role in the setting up of ISRO. He was the  great warrior of swadeshi. Dr Bhabha was the guru of Sarabhai. Dr Bhabha was instrumental behind nuclear energy in independence era. He set up a lab at his garage in the house to start swadeshi. He made great contribution behind India becoming world power in atomic energy field. We are competent enough that we can dispatch our own satellite. Today, we are able to make missile. You must have heard about Missile Man Dr APJ Abdul Kalam who was also the great warrior of swadeshi. He was born through swadeshi movement and ideology. Dr Sarabhai was instrumental behind setting up of over 40 institutions like IIM Ahmadabad and various pharma, electronic, computer firms. We are obliged to the great swadeshi warrior. Great personalities like Dr Vikram Sarabhai, Dr Bhabha, Dr APJ Abdul Kalam played important role in country’s development.

The enterprising skill makes great contribution of development of any country. The countries like Japan, Israel, America, France, etc are far ahead us regarding enterprising. They lead the entire world. If we talk about Pakistan, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, Nepal, etc, they lack enterprising skill. They have to import everything from other countries. The foreign countries consider the entire world as market. They think that everybody must use their products. They started corporate war among themselves. There is throat cut competition. They want to make money by any hook or crook. The poor and developing countries face the consequences. The developed countries never go to the other countries by making East India Company or taking army. They go to the other countries as multinational firms and loot the money.

For example, if you type cola war on the Google, you will get whole history regarding it. USA has two companies-- coca cola and pepsi. Former US President Jimi Carter would use aircraft owned by coca cola. Once Carter saw an employee enjoying pepsi at White House and dismissed immediately him. This type of company is so strong that they decide who will form the government, who will be the President, who will be the ministers, etc. They also indulge in getting someone killed.

In 2003, a social institution of India conducted research on pepsi and coke that how many insecticides they have. Erstwhile US NSA  Collin Powel made threatening call to Sunita Narayan instructing her not to tarnish MNCs. They are so strong that they can get the regime changed. Erstwhile Union Health Minister Ambumani Ramdas visited camp organized by Param Pujya Swami Jee Maharaj at Gurgaon in 2008.  He lobbied for tobacco. He made it mandatory for the cigarette manufacturing companies to publish picture at 70 percent part, depicting that consuming tobacco causes cancer. Dr Ambumani Ramdas says that over 150 MPs made phone calls to him, requesting him not to implement such rules. I discussed it with you because the foreign companies are so powerful. Such rules and regulations work for their own.

Now, I talk about my country. Dhirubhai Ambani and Nusli Wadia engaged in corporate war in 90’s. Keerti Ambani was kept behind bar after investigation conducted by the Police Commissioner. The case was stretched till 25 years, Rajiv Gandhi was the Prime Minister and there was a political crisis in the country. There is no norm for corporate war. The company wants to end competition from the market and controls on the entire network, markets and customers and products. Then they want to do monopoly. They are free to fix rate as they want to. For example, you must have heard about uncle chips which disappeared from the market. Uncle chips was the amrit swadeshi company and it had a brand. When pepsi launched its own brand lays, it saw that the uncle chips had control over the Indian market. It took over uncle chips at higher price. Now, it killed that product. It means it stopped supply of uncle chips. Slowly, uncle chips disappeared from the market. The people started to purchase lays instead uncle chips. It maligned the quality of uncle chips so that lays can control the market. Two-three years ago, I conducted research on the lays and found that pepsico sells lays worth Rs 800 crore yearly. Similarly, there was a OK soap which was giving stiff competition to lifebuoy prepared by Hindustan Uniliver. They found that the customers prefer OK soap to lifebuoy. Hindustan Uniliver took over OK soap to increase its reach in the market. Similarly, you must have heard about Thums-Up which was offered to the guests in the 90’s. Thums-Up, Maza, etc were the Indian brands.

When pepsi and coke launched their products in the Indian market again in 1990, then they killed all these Indian brands. First of all, they offered the Indian brands to sell their products. When they were not ready to sell it, they launched stiff competition and started to sell their products below manufacturing cost. For example, if a cold drink costs Rs 1, the company sells it at Rs 1.50. Then the foreign company started to sell it at Rs 0.70.  In those days, the cold drink was available in bottle made of glass instead of plastic. They tied up with the companies engaged in manufacturing glass bottle to buy all the bottles on condition that they won’t sell their products to the swadeshi firms. They got destroyed all the old bottles which was brought to the factories for refilling with swadeshi brands. Limca, Thums-Up, Maza, Gold Spot, etc were the swadeshi brands. There was a rimjhim named masala dosa. The foreign companies either did takeover or killed them. There are only two-three brands in the market. If you want to enjoy cold drink, you have no option but to take pepsi, coke or fanta. Foreign companies took control over the beverage. The taste of gold spot is like that to fanta. The taste of maza is like the mango juice of other brands. Chandrika soap was giving competition to Hindustan Uniliver which had purchased it. Indulekha soap was also famous in the South Indian market. Hindustan Uniliver also purchased Indulekha and Sunlight. When the foreign companies take over them, they do complete assessment and their brand value, strength, the number of outlets and retailers, customer base, market share. A common person makes such a big business empire. The foreign companies offer them huge amount. They say that if you earn Rs one crore in a year, then take Rs 10 crore and sign an agreement. During the agreement, the foreign companies ask them not to use brands, network of distribution, database of retailers, technology, plants, etc. They also make it clear that no family member will come in this field so that they can’t establish the similar brands in the market again. Colgate came in the market with a capital of Rs 1.5 lakh in 1932 and after 80 years, it became the company worth Rs 2, 000 crore. Dantkanti being run by Patanjali proved it under sheer guidance of Param Pujya Swami Jee in merely 8 years. Now, the foreign companies may share different ideologies with us, but at the same time, they agree that there is no other toothpaste than dantkanti in the world. The foreign company did takeover cibaca brand. A coalgate official said that he doesn’t want to sell this brand because it’s a swadeshi brand which has to be destroyed. We don’t supply it in the market and promote it. If the people demand it, we will convince them to buy coalgate saying that it has very less margin. He said that he doesn’t sell the products below 30 percent margin. Because, he doesn’t aim at providing service to the countrymen. You must have heard of D-cold, dermi cool, move, etc. All these products were swadeshi which was purchased by Rakit Benkaizer. Earlier, they were known as Paras Agro. Lakme brand was also swadeshi which is now Hindustan Uniliver brand. Priya Pickle is engaged in manufacturing pickle apart from many other food items. It had vast network with farmers and a big market. It was also purchased by a MNC cavin care to take control over pickle market.

If we talk about India, we spend Rs 150- Rs 200 out of Rs 1,000 over oil and ghee. Ghee and oil play an important role in kitchen trade of India’s FMCG. The foreign companies aim at oil and ghee trade.

You must have heard of kargil which wants to control India’s edible oil market. There was jaimini brand which used to manufacture edible oil. Parakh India was its owner. Kargil India bought jaimini brand and sells it as own brand. Now, kargil controls around 15-20 percent oil market. There was swadeshi brand named rath. You must have heard of DCM Shriram, the owner of this brand, which was also purchased by kargil. Other foreign company is vilmar which has tied up with Indian company. Param Pujya Swami Jee never talks about any Indian firm. Some of the Indian corporate houses are very reputed. But, they are under pressure of share holder and profit holder. Vilmar has tied up with Indian corporate houses and whatever oil it sold, sold at below Rs 10-15 per liter to end competition. They will decide the rate at which the produce will be purchased from the farmers.

I wanted to know someone’s views over quality of Patanjali oil. He replied that he takes samples of oil from the market to maintain the quality of our oil. Then the quality is checked in open lab to manufacture the oil. He said that the Patanjali oil is the purest of all. Til oil is 100 percent pure. Oil is extracted from mustard, then the rate must be decided according to mustard price. 

   Most of the people in this world waste their precious time daily and live unconsciously. We lose our time with family, friends, relatives, other peoples in the society. But at the same time, we should ponder over that whatever is happening in this nature and world, is in coordination.
Who are the driver, creator and destroyer? Who does look after the entire human being and animals? The ultimate God has made the sun, the moon, stars, day and night. He remains awaken to shower blessings on the human being. When somebody fells, he provide support to him/her through inherent power. If his disciple gets deviated from the path, he is ready to pave for him/her. Who are that friend and associate? It’s nothing but the ultimate God which has been glorified in our all the scriptures, ved, darshan, purana, etc.

Tadejati tannaijati tad dure tadvantike I
Tadantarasya sarvasya tadu sarvasyasya bahvatah II (Isha 5)

He moves, he doesn’t move, he is far, he is near. He resides in everybody’s heart, while he is the present. The ultimate God is the only sadhana of disciples worshiping him. The disciple searches his ultimate God. Because, he knows that the ultimate God resides everywhere. The disciple has to feel him. The disciple can’t see the ultimate God through sense organs. It’s possible only through sharp intellect.

Esha sarveshu bhuteshu gudhatma na prakashate I
Drishyate tvagrachya buddhya sukshmaya sukshmadarshibhih II (Katho 3/12)

Delivering sermon to Arjuna in the Gita, Lord Shrikrishna says that—

Manushyanam sahastreshu 
kashchidyatati siddhaye I
Yatatamapi siddhanam kashchinman 
vettti tatvatah II (Gita 7/3)

Many disciples are engaged in awakening it but the ultimate God provides his presence only those in which heart the he resides.

The God has showered blessings on all the human beings and animals. But at the same time, around 90 percent people in the world don’t make effort to know this mystic. They are engaged in getting materialistic happiness. The human being must live in totality. Describing religion in ‘Vaisheshikdarshan’, Maharshi Kanad says—

Yatoabhyudayanih shreyasasiddhih sa dharmah (Vaisheshik Darshan 1/1/2)

If we make effort in any field, then we start to give special attention to a particular side. Other important part is that it gets marginalized while pursuing education, doing business and other activities. But we must be aware while doing all these activities. We must worship the ultimate god while doing the work. We must be disciplined. Because, if we pay attention to a particular side, we will not get satisfaction. We will yet to get happiness, peace, prosperity, kindness, liberty, etc. Therefore, the people should think that whatever they do, they do for the god. Whatever work you have assigned to us, we will return to you. We will do all the work in the state of meditation.

Parachah kamananuyanti balaste mrityoryanti vitatasya pasham I

Aatha dhira amritatvam viditva dhravama dhruveshviha na prarthayante II (Kahto 4/1)

Every mind is in the search for you
There is no remaining wish,
You are the sea, I want to be a drop of it
There is no existence of drop in the sea,
I wish to merge with you.
I request to you to look after me
I hope that this infatuation must go,
The god must provide light to me,
I wish that I won’t deviate from the path.
Hold me, otherwise the moment will be lost.

Somebody is facing is pain, somebody is getting relief I
Life is the sangam of happiness and grief II

 Mercy is the great virtue of the human being. In other word, it can be said as sensation. When the people start to see poverty of other people as their own, it’s called mercy. The difference is that someone starts crying due to poverty, it means that this condition is reflected from that people. But those who see this state feel something special. At the same time, crying and laughing and mercy and happiness are expressed. He can found the way for removing poverty. The competent people can get rid of poverty due to mercy. They can spread happiness on the dry face. Mercy can be the very basis of people’s life. The people can leave violence due to mercy. They can be of aesthetic in nature. They can remain engage in welfare work. It’s mercy which turned looter Ratnakar into Valmiki. Lord Rama welcomed Jatayu due to mercy. It’s mercy which turned stone into Ahilya. The mercy puts human being in the category of deity. Showering gentleness to see hungry people, patients, older people, etc in the world is kindness. It turns people into super human. It’s mercy which creates emotion in the heart of the people, making somebody poet. Great poet Shakespeare has termed mercy as godly virtue.

It’s an attribute to God himself

Shakespeare has termed it blessings for those who shower mercy and those who accept mercy. He said that mercy is the great virtue of the highly powerful persons. He has given a lovely fact that mercy is more beautiful than crown of the king. It would be great if the king has mercy in his heart.

It blesseth him that gives, and him that takes. It is mightiest in the mightiest; it becomes the throned monarch better than his crown.

Mighty people can be great due to mercy, it’s also the symbol of incapable. Anybody in this world can fell prey to the condition and depend on other people for mercy. Mercy is also considered as godly because it can’t be instilled in anybody. It’s natural virtue. Those who have it are the true representatives of the God. Describing property, Lord Shrikrishna has said to Arjuna—

Ahinsa satyamakrodhastyagah shantirpaishunam I
Daya bhuteshvaloluptvam mardavam hirachapalam II (Gita 16/2)

He has termed daya bhuteshu—means mercy as one of the godly property. Then why will the human being having belief in mercy not turn into the God. Mercy has been defined in detail in ancient and western literature. Bhrithari also writes in Nitishatak that prestige of public behavior depends on that people who shower mercy on others like – dakshinyam svajane daya parajane shathyam sada durjane  (Nee Shlokansh 22)

Bhrithari has termed mercy as policy through which the people move on the path easily. According to research conducted on mercy in USA, the people having mercy are more successful than violent and aggressive people. It also makes great impact on the humanity. They complete their work aesthetically. They are capable for making conducive atmosphere.

A scene of first part of drama Abhigyan Shakuntala written by Great poet Kalidas portrays mercy as great virtue. When emperor Dushyant follows dear while poaching in the forest, then Vaikhanas who was roaming there said that oh emperor! Don’t kill this soft dear because its life is highly honest and sober, like—

Na khalu na khalu bapah sannipatyoamusmin,
Mriduni mrigasharire tularashivagnih I
(Abhi. Sha. 2/10 Shlokansh)

The abode of saints is the house for animals- birds roaming in the forest. The saints shower loving attitude toward them. Due to which, they appeal to emperor Vaikhanas  to save dears. In another episode of great literature Naishadhacharitam where emperor Nal holds a duck which requests to him.  It said that oh emperor! my mother has a son and she is older. My wife is alone. My brother and friend are not accompanying her. She is blessed with baby boy. Can your mercy not stop you from doing this? Like-

Bhedakaputra janani jaratura navaprasutirvarata tapasvini I
Gatistayoresha janastamardayahannaho vidhe tvam karuna runaddhi na II

Similarly, Sanskrit Vangmaya is full of many episodes showing mercy. It’s not possible to portray all these episodes. At last, I would like to say that everybody must support others in case of need. He must feel that the God has provided opportunity to shower mercy. Therefore, I won’t lose the opportunity. I will remain shelter the humanity. Ego and hatred are the poison. Therefore, I will never get addicted to them/. I will lead a life full of mercy. 

Ancient scriptures and traditions have been describing yagya. Various types of yagya have been performed for getting many benefits. Let’s understand its rules and types in detailed.

•     Atharvaved describes many types of yagya. For example—

Rajasuyam vajapeyamagnishtomastadadhvarah I
Arkashthamedhavuchchhishte jevabarhimadintamah II
Agnyadheyamatho diksha kamaprashchhandasa sah I
Agnihotram cha shraddha cha vashatukaro vratam tapah II

    The human being must provide bliss to the entire animals by worshiping the God through yagya like rajasuy, vajapey, agnishthem, ashvamedh, agnyadhan, agnihotra, chaturmasy and pashubandh.

•   In Etarey Brahman, five types of yagya have been mentioned—

sa esha yagyah panchavidhah I Agnihotram darshapaurnamasau, chaturmasyani, 
pashu, som iti II 
(Eteray Brahman, 2.3 Eteray Aranyak, 2.3.3)

•     Gautam Dharmasutra describes 21 yagyabhed of three types of yagyasanstha. For example—

Seven pakyagya—aupasan, vaishvadev, parvan, ashtaka, masikashraddh, shravana and shulagav.
Seven haviryagya—agnihotra, darshpurnamas, aagrayan, chaturmasy, nirudhapashubandh, sautramani and pinapitri named darvihom.
Seven somayagya—agnishthom, ukthaya, shodashi, vajapey, atiratra and aptoryam.
In this dharmasutra, agniyadhan has been counted as first position leaving aside seventh haviryagya (pindapitriyagya).

• l    In the various chapters of Katyayanashrautasutra, Maharshi Katyayan has described many other types—dakshyayanam, ekah, dvadashah, agnichayan, ashvamedha, abhichar, satra, somayag, gavayaman, rajasuya, purushamedha, prayashchit and pravarya. (Katyayan Shrautasutra, Chapter 4 to 26)

•   Maharshi Manu has termed necessary five daily activities as mahayagya—

  Adhyapanam brahmyagyah pitriyagyastu tarnanam I
  Homo daivo balibhaunto mriyagyoatithipujanam II
  (Manusmriti, 3.70 )

• Teaching job, tarpan of pitaron, homkarya, balipradan and welcoming guest are brahmyagya, pitriyagya, daivayagya, bhutayagya and nriyagya respectively.

•     Shrimadbhagvadgita describes five yagya. For example—

Dravyayagyastapoyagya yogayagyastathapare I
Svadhyayagyanayagyashcha yatayah sanshitavratah II (Gita, 4.28)

Dravyayagya, tapayagya, yogayagya, svadhyayayagya and gyanyagya. It has also described yagya as satvik, rajasik and tamasik. For example—

Satvik yagyah

Aphalakadkshibhhiryagyo vidhidrishto ya injyate.
Yashtabyameyeti manah samadhay sa satvikah II Gita, 17.11 II

The satvik yagya is those yagya which has been considered as duty according to scripture. It is performed by those people who have longing for result.

Rajasik yagyah

Amisandhay tu phalam 
dambharthamapi chaiva yat I

Injyate bharatashreshtham tam yagyam viddhi rajasam II (Gita, 17.12)
The yagya which is performed aiming at getting result is called rajasik yagya.

Tamasik yagyah:

Vidhihinamasrishtannam mantrahinamadakshinam I
Shraddhavirahitam yagyam tamasam parichakshate II (Gita, 17.13)

The yagya which is performed without pure materials, matra, dakshina and reverence is called tamas yagya.

•     Dividing ‘devayagy’ and ‘dravyayagya’ opined by Maharshi Manu, the great scholars have written—‘dravyagya, shraut and smart are different. The yagya which is mentioned in mantra and Brahman is called ‘shrautayagya’. The yagya which is mentioned by rishi in smriti is called smart. Grihyasutrokta yagya is also counted in smart yagya. Such yagya is of three types namely—naityik, kamya and naimittik.

1)  Naityik yagya—It is performed necessarily daily like ‘panchmahayagya’ proposed by Maharshi Manu.

2)  Naimittik yagya—It is performed daily. For example—shodash sanskar, natural coincidence. The yagya performed for checking pollution is also called naimittik yagya.

3)    Kamya yagya—It is performed to fulfill desire, for example—varsheshti, putreshti, etc.

    There are 14 shrotayagya (seven haviryagya and seven somyagya). Seven pakyagya is called smart yagya. Similarly, there is 21 yagya. (Brief introduction of shrotayagya, Yudhishthir Mimansak, Page-7)

•   Vaidik sampatikar had mentioned three types of yagya in context of duty, knowledge and worship.

•  Gyan yagya and upasanayagya are self study, tap and yog, etc, but shraut yagya is karmayagya. Many other scholars have mentioned yagya as three types namely—aadhyatmik, aadhidaivik and aadhibhautik. (Krishna Yajurved A Study, Dr Virendra Kumar Mishra, Page. 27)

•    According to the modern scholars, the yagya can be divided into five classes—hom, ishti, pashuyag, somayag and satra. (Gopath Brahman, 1.5.7)

Yagyamahotsav of dravya yagya, yog yagya and gyan yagya
