Although, the God has provided infinite knowledge, sensation, capability, prosperity, beauty and talent to every human being. Through which, the people get great success, prosperity, prestige and victory. Therefore, by getting everything, you must remain kind, pauper, self-respecting because everything is through the God, of the God, for the God.

Life is the key to life. It’s eternal truth. The nature and the God have provided us both the bad and good as the form of seed. Life’s aim is to select good and take it forward. Attain the success in life. Provide no respect to the bad things. Disrespect, dishonour, delete and block the bad things. Protect yourself from pleasure, unproductive and guilty. Make your intention, bhakti and deed divine. Proceed on the path of prosperity by leading a divine life. This is the fundamental culture of India and our basic nature.

India is a spiritual country by nature. Our nature and culture are not communal. Our nation’s soul means that spiritual nationalism get shattered duo to darkness, scarcity, inequality, injustice and many social, economic, political and communal reasons. We must make ourselves prosper, beautiful and divine through total devotion, total strength, yog, duty, self-religion, nation commitment, self-commitment, ved commitment and brahma commitment. Handle your divine responsibility authentically by becoming the tool of guru, rishi and the God.

There are hundreds and thousands of aspects in the life. In the infinite aspects, every moment is the result of incidents being happened around us. Success and failure of our life, facts of existence like truth and history are the witness of it. Therefore, your education, degree, sensitiveness, capability and various skills and eligibilities, etc have their own utility and necessity. Out of which, fast communication and total devotion are of great importance. If you possess these two qualities, you will set world record in any walk of life like politics, spiritualism, education, art, acting, research, media, sports, etc.

Selflessness or living moment to moment in the soul’s divinity or totality is the best means, resources or medium of success, prosperity, peace, happiness or solution of internal life. In this regard, objective, aim, meaning and destination of life are to handle responsibility of determined self-religion, self-duty with total intellect, devotion and strength, while being either in this form or in self-form.…

Every youth has priority or demand like victory, success, achievement and he/she tries hard to attain it. We are making effort to present some points in this reference in the editorial of this issue:

1. Parents, relatives and teachers must rear the children so that the children, students and youths develop a balanced, total, stable, justified and non-violent approach and deed. The youths must not run after only physical strength, only intellectual strength, only committed strength, only money strength instead of utilising their capability in the proper direction by making their body, strong and healthy and controlling sense organ, mind, thought, emotion. Become expert in at least one and more subjects. Try to do physical labour 8-18 hours.  Don’t leave the work in the middle without attaining the objectives because most of the people don’t dare to start big task. Some of them try to initiate it but at the same time, they face obstacles while doing it. They fail to realise dream due to lack of knowledge, skill, dare, strength, patience, etc among the youths.

2. Art skill of converting capability into prosperity. The youths must possess talent of how to make new history or record of prosperity, success, achievement or victory by converting special knowledge, science or technique of physical, intellectual, emotional, duty, leadership, oratory skill, writing poem, writing, acting, music, art, sound, dance, translation, photography, videography, fashion, dialogue, science etc various capabilities, medical, engineering, management, politics, guests, judiciary, media, etc into wealth, brand, industry, institution, organisation, party, trade, service or charity, etc. They must have skill to convert strength, social, religious, economical, spiritual and political strength, relations, confidence, majesty, etc, acquired through dynasty, tradition, etc, apart from personal strength. We must possess skill to convert whatever resources (we have acquired through soil, water, forest, land, herbs) into prosperity. We can do something new by using soil in making toy, water in doing watery cultivation and setting up of farming and dairy on the land. The people are doing it on the large scale. Many new markets, bases and trades are available for the people.

3. The people must utilise easily available resources of any region, place, country or in the fields of social, economical, political, educational, or in the area of agricultural, animal husbandry, bee farming, medical treatment, etc. They have to prepare a concrete business plan and implement it accordingly.

4. You have to search for right person of yog, karmayog, mutual cooperation, enterprising and convince them for realising the dream. Only then, you can get success.

5. You can do either a big task or job, business, politics or charity with any organisation, institution, society or mammoth yagya. You can get success or achievement in your life through this.

6. There are some fundamental theories for realising dream in the world. You have to abiding by it authentically like drawing a line of morality, following norms, etc, encroaching no rules of the God and the country, constitution of law, etc. You have to leave bad thoughts, demerits, weakness, laziness, anger, disappointment, negativity, repentance, etc. You have to avoid micro demerit at the level of mind, thought, emotion, refinement, etc. You have to remain aware for 24 hours.

    

7. You have to bring totality, balance, farsightedness, transparency, justice, equality, unity, non-violence, truth and  purity. You have to leave destruction, ignorance, ego, lavishness, etc. You have not to do mistake while determining priority, taking big decision and self evaluation, etc. You have to remain as strong as stone and as soft as flower in your life. You have to remain indulge in bringing reform, change, transformation, movement, creativity, etc. You must not lose patience in case of challenge, struggle, and unprecedented situation. You have to remain aware towards your diet, behaviour, nature and character. Lead a life in higher consciousness. Make the great personality as ideal. Remain in your fundamental form and do the role of self duty, self religion, human religion, nation religion and world religion with authenticity.

The yog is the unique gift of ancient tradition of India. The yog brings unity among body, mind and soul. The yog is not only an exercise but unity between world and nature. I congratulate all of you who have gathered here to yog under sheer guidance of Great Yog Guru Baba Ramdev Jee. I am glad that you are practising yog. Swami Jee has made yog available in the entire country by setting up yogapeeth institution.
It was quite tough to make yog available to the people in this modern era. Swami Jee has played important role in boosting interest and will power towards yog in the people’s mind. That’s why, I call him respected guru. I am older to him. But he has contributed much for the country and the world. I have no word to describe his great service to the society. Baba Ramdev Jee created awareness among the countrymen about health. I offer prayer to him for this. I am not here in the capacity of the Vice President. I have come here only to thank him. Because as long as we are healthy, we can earn money. Only money doesn’t guarantee health. Our great personalities have said that health is the great fortune. Health is wealth. If you are healthy, you can eat food. If you are wealthy and unhealthy, you are not in a position to eat food. I congratulate the people of this lovely town Hubli. You have gathered here to practise yog under sheer guidance of Baba Jee.

It’s quite interesting to see the people practising yog and paranayam in the parks of the towns and big apartments. It proves that the people have faith in knowledge and norms of our civilisation. They are proud of ancient knowledge. Renaissance and adopting sanatan knowledge and disseminating it for human welfare is the symbol of national commitment of the people.

Practising yog is also patriotism. What’s the meaning of country? If you are doing something for the welfare of people, you are the true patriot. If you think of people’s health and engage in boosting their mental physical health, it’s called nationalism and patriotism.  We know that yog is the great practice for physical, mental and spiritual health. It originates from India. In the Sanskrit language, the yogic meaning of yog is to unite. It links body, mind and soul. It brings unity between mind and body. Yog is the great heritage of India which has provided this unique gift to the world. I offer prayer to our ancestors for this. I also thank our Prime Minister Shri Narendra Bhai Modi Jee who has played important role in making world aware of yog.

I am amazed that I come across with Yog Guru Baba Ramdev everywhere I visit in the world in capacity of Vice President. Meanwhile, I visited small country Costa Ricka where President said to me, “We have issued presidential notice, making it mandatory for the citizen to practise yog.” It is the conclusion of our civilisation. We have shared it with entire world. We have belief in ‘Vasudhaiv Kutumakam.’ The knowledge has been the mean of world welfare. Our Prime Minister Shri Narendra Bhai Modi Jee proposed to celebrate ‘International Yog Day to share struggle with the world. I am glad that the world community accepted this gift of Indian civilisation wholeheartedly. I am glad that Swami Ramdev Jee has spread yog in the entire world. Yog has become the part of daily routine of common people once again through his effort. The credit goes to him for this deed. He has played important role in bringing back the lost glory of yog. I also thank media persons for this. It can be called a positive initiative of media. We know that today, they are spreading many unwanted news. It’s necessary to make yog available to the people. Around 60 percent people of India are below 35 years of age, while 50 percent people are below 25 years of age. India is a democratic country whose people must be healthy. The youths are facing the problems of overweight and depression. They can get rid of this daily yog practice. This is simple remedy and simple medicine on the earth. We have to pay nothing if you practise yog to remain healthy. You can get rid of tension through attention. Peace is the essential ingredient prosperity. Baba Ramdev Jee is teaching this formula. In ancient time, our rishi used to guide kings. The kings and the society used to follow them. Unfortunately for the last few decades due to change in mental transformation, we have been showing disrespect to the rishi discourse. Today, we see a new yogi, rishi who are spreading yog in the world. Today, youths feel self control, self confidence, lack of unity between body and mind. Pressure is mounting. Food habit is getting changed. The youths are facing problem of psychological and physical disorder. It can be proved harmful for their long term life. An international magazine has written that—contagious disease is spreading rapidly due to uncontrolled and irregular life style. We must rise in the early morning, then exercise. We must do bhakti in our life. Yog can play important role in getting it. We can earn the money if we are healthy. Our ancestors have given ways how to lead a healthy life. It’s science of yog. The yog is an art as well as science. Yog is one of the 64 ancient knowledge. The World Health Organisation passed a proposal to celebrate ‘International Yog Day’ on June 21 since 2014. But it should not be limited to only one day. We have to exercise it daily. We have seen various presentations of yog by Baba Ramdev Jee. You have to choose aasan as per your age, capability, etc. In this regard, the world organisation has passed a resolution that yog is not only a physical activity but an art to provide health. Great yogi BKS Ayangar has said that the yog balances all the daily activities, metabolic reactions. But the people particularly politician don’t abide by it. Coordination between body and mind is necessary. If mind is balanced, speech gets balanced. You have seen that most of the people say whatever they think. They don’t know what they speak. We have to learn how to control all these. A large number of people exercise yog on the occasion of International Yog Day. They present their skill through it. My dear brothers and sisters, today our society needs a transformation. Our respected Prime Minister talks about reform, perform and transform. Transformation is the need of the hour for country’s prosperity. In the ancient time, we were called world teacher. In that era, we have enough money, property, resources, land etc. Despite, we launched no attack on the countries in the world. Many thieves, looters, attackers attacked our country. Now, we have to regain back our lost glory. We want to get our lost capability and power which will not be used to attack other country. Our history is thousands years old during which we didn’t attack any country. As world teacher, we have always guided others. The education is the source of prosperity. We have to spread it in the entire world. Our philosophy has been the ‘vasudhaiva kutumbakam’. Entire world is like family. We believe in this. You can name it anything. Some people hesitate to speak ‘Hindu’. The Hindu is not a religion but life system, a great life system. 

Therefore, dear brothers and sisters, change is necessary. We have to bring change in food habit, movement, etc. This can be done with support of nature. For the great future, we have to coordinate with the nature which can bring change. Yog practice can bring great change in our life. Yog is not only the exercise of body but also a synchronisation of body, mind and soul. It’s total and stable knowledge. There is advait theory of our philosophy. We do yog to get rid of discrimination among body, mind and soul.

I myself expressed desire to meet Baba Ramdev Jee Maharaj when we knew that he was here to conduct the programme. He also invited me to attend the programme. I would like to mention an incident. Since childhood, I have been visiting RSS camp. Physical activity brings alertness. I am now 70. I play badminton daily for an hour daily in the morning. Apart from it, I do yog and walking. I remain healthy in my busy daily routine. Therefore, I would like ask all of you to follow advice of Guru Jee. Exercise yog daily in your house and ask your children to do so. Make them understand about pure food habit. We are Indian. We must follow the Indian food habit. Our ancestors have gifted yog to us. We have to consume good quality of food. Why do we run after pizza and burger? The people of other country may prefer it. We must tell our children to follow the Indian food habit. The children say that it’s instant food which means constant disease. The food can’t be instant. Food needs to be cooked. Therefore, exercise needs hard work and capability. After lot of stress and pain, we gain. All these are meant for your health.
Therefore, I congratulate yogaguru Baba Ramdev Jee on behalf of all of you and countrymen. He is boosting energy of countrymen. I talked with him. Watching Guru Jee exercising gives energy.

Respected Param Shradheya Acharya Jee, Uttarakhand Agriculture Minister Shri Subodh Unniyal Jee, Panchayat Minister Shri Arvind Pandey Jee, Cooperative Minister Shri Dhansingh Ravat Jee, Agriculture Cooperative and Social Welfare Minister Secretary Shri Sanjay Agrawal Jee, Joint Secretary Sister Alka Jee and all the brothers-sisters and ladies and gentlemen, I am glad to share my presence with all of you. Patanjali is famous not only in the country but also in the world. Param Shradheya Swami Ramdev Jee Maharaj has played an important role in making yog popular among the people. There was a time when the people were convinced to use indigenous things. An awareness programme was launched in this regard. The simple workers like us were the part of that movement. People used to ask what the indigenous products are, from where we can purchase them. There were no soap and tooth power available in that era. The movement brought no desired result. Baba Ramdev has done great revolution in indigenous apart from yog. If you ask about indigenous, 10 products are available for one thing. Acharya Balkrishna Jee is the backbone of Baba Ramdev Jee. He is devoted to his tapasya, sadhana, knowledge, labour and mission. The Patanjali has done great contribution in indigenous farming. When Acharya Jee shared this with me, then Secretary Sir and other officers and I held meeting with Acharya Jee and it was decided that he land should be taken care of. Therefore, he presented the concept of ‘doctor of land’. Now, it will be pilot project. But I have faith that it will grow in near future and it will help farmers boost their income. Respected Prime Minister has been making effort to boost agriculture, village and income of farmers and poor. We know that most of the country’s population depend on agriculture and live in villages. The villages won’t develop unless agriculture prospers. It will be impossible to realise the dream of developed India. Post- independence, the governments have been trying hard, but due to direction of effort created imbalance. There was a great challenge to check this imbalance. But you know that the Prime Minister Narendra Modi Jee is a man of great commitment. He dreamt that his dream will not realise unless life of poor gets changed. India will not prosper unless the income of agriculture and farmers get doubled. Therefore, he focussed on total development and balanced development. He is also working on Make In India concept. In this financial year, over Rs 3 lakh crore was allocated to agriculture and rural development. The government made such a budgetary allocation to boost farmers who can contribute in country’s development. Work has to be done on many fronts to boost farmers’ income. There is a need of good quality of fertilizer, irrigation, deep irrigation, water, etc. There should be a facility of soil testing. The farmers won’t get desired results unless proper soil testing facility. For this, Respected Prime Minister has launched Soil Testing movement. Over 10 crore soil testing cards were distributed to the farmers. This effort should be continuous to boost farmers’ productivity. For example, if a person is suffering from malaria and the disease is not detected unless proper blood test. Similarly, soil health testing indicates that how much fertilizers should be used in the fields. Acharya Jee has made a pilot project in this direction. It will benefit us in the near future. The agriculture is facing many challenges. There was a time when it was said that farming will be done at the land filled with water. I think that the concept has changed. Only knowledgeable persons can do farming which needs knowledge and technology. The Government of India is working hard in this regard. Rs 6,000 is being transferred to eight crore farmers through DBT under PM Kisan Samman Yojana.

Farmers’ premium was Rs 13,000 crore, while they were compensated with Rs 57,000 crore under PMKISAN. Amazingly, the government has provided security cover to the farmers. Earlier, we were facing product shortage. Today, we have surplus production. Now we are facing acute crunch of storage facility. Water is the life. Untimely rain causes skyrocketing price of onion. There is need to hold discussion among wise farmers, scientists, organisation concerned over diversification of crops. Organic farming has been focussed in view of harmful effect of fertilizers. Organic farming must be encouraged. The Union Agriculture Ministry is working seriously in this regard. The Government of India is helping state governments increasing organic farming. It’s providing technical support to the farmers. The government is also trying hard to link farmers with market. The government has also made provision for zero budget farming. The farmers were convinced to return to natural farming. They have to understand this. Earlier, the farmers used to sell their produce in the mandi but they failed to sell it in other states directly. An Inam Project was started so that entire country will look like a market for the farmers. Total of 585 mandi have been linked with this project. The farmers have done trade worth Rs 91, 000 crore through E-market of this project. The ministry is working fast to connect 400-450 mandi in the near future. The farmers used to depend on train to transport their produce to markets in various states like Tamil Nadu. They failed to get fertilizers on time. But the Prime Minister decided to run ‘Kisan Rail’ in this budget. The farmers’ produce was transported on priority basis. In case of need, AC coaches will be constructed to transport fruits and flowers. The farmers can transport their produce in any part of the country in 24-48 hours. Kisan Udan Scheme was started in this budget to export organic produce in the international market. Now, the farmers of Uttarakhand can sell their produced in the foreign market through this scheme. The organic farming is widely done in the entire North East region. But due to non- availability of proper market in the region, the farmers failed to get desired revenue. The government has focussed on the logistic. The government needs to focus on soil health. Acharya Jee is also doing pilot which will certainly be successful. Facing all the challenges before the agriculture, we will get victory.

   The people are unaware of both the Indian and European education system. It has reached to the acme due to state controlled education in the country’s educated community Post-Independence. Whatever true educationists are in Europe, are eager for the fundamental knowledge of India. They make contemporary Indian intellectualism mockery because they find that Indians are unable to understand their own knowledge tradition. The Indians follow the European knowledge tradition blindly. That’s why, the great thinkers and scientists of Europe and America visit India to know Indian Vedic Darshan, Sankhya Darshan, Yog Darshan and Advait Darshan through enlightened persons. The leading personalities of India’s educated community know that the foreigners are eager to know about Indian knowledge tradition. That’s why, writers and intellectuals keep opposing sanatan religion and Hindu religion in India. They term themselves as true representatives of India or Hindu tradition. For this, they generally use Indian phraseology.
But Europe and America are also the part of the world. Therefore, representatives of satvagun, rajogun, tamogun are widely found there. They engage into scuffle among themselves. Those power wants to dominate world with medieval ekpanthvad is revered as that educated community of India. The educated community is opponent of the sanatan religion. They imitate the medieval Europe. They are unaware of new knowledge-science emerging in Europe and America. One of the main reasons is terming ‘religion’ as ‘dharm’. It’s worth mentioning that in the beginning when the eager European people came including German, French, British and Dutch visited India, then they translated dharm into their own universal law, human duty and fundamental virtue. But in 19th century, some priests as workers of company became active to spread Christianity in India. They searched some obedient and committed Hindu, then they termed ‘dharm’ as ‘religion’. They started to term religion as separate dharm.
The condition is that English, French and German dictionary themselves mention dharm and religion as two different words. There are separate entries for them in the dictionary. For example, in New Oxford English Dictionary, the word ‘religion’ is entered in the word beginning with ‘R’ and it has been termed as the reverence towards a panthpravartak’s thought. While, the word ‘dharm’ has been entered in the serial of word beginning with ‘D’. according to Hindu Darshan, it has been termed as universal law. But at the same time, a group of people hating both the knowledge an religion continue to present religion and dharm as synonym. They present sanatan religion as a separate religion at par with Islam and Christianity. They keep all these in the same category. They deem the international recognition given to the diversity during last 70 years as equal recognition of Hindu, Muslim, Christian, etc. They conceal the facts that darshan and behaviour of diversity has been in practice in Hindu religion and sanatan tradition since time immemorial. There are harmony, coordination and affection in the hundreds of cults. Therefore, everybody devoid of modern education see Islam and Christianity as one of the cults in the world. They determine their good and bad habits on the basis of universal conclusion of religion.
Ignorance spread due to state controlled education in a large section of modern educated Indians makes an impact that they are still unaware of common parameters and facts. For example, separate communities of Christianity have been organising conferences in which ekpanthvadi representatives and sanatan religion representatives are given equal treatment. And, they are called sarvadharma conference, while sarvadharma conference is an impossible task. Only sarvapanth conference is possible. Because, sarvadharm has opposite virtues.
For example, fire has quality of getting fired and water has quality of mitigation. Therefore, conference of quality of fire and water is almost impossible. Because, both will ruin one another. Similarly, the earth has virtue of smelling, while air has virtue of flowing. It’s impossible to gather both of them. They can remain balanced in their own atmosphere. They are unable to gather.
It can be understood very easily with reference to human behaviour. When it’s understood that the general religion is different for human beings, then why will their conference be organised? For example, if a human community is ready to kill others, while other human community has characteristics of non-violence, kindness, etc, then is it possible to gather?

In fact, only sarvapanth conference of human being is possible if we deem that the entire human being has some basic virtues and habits which are disciplined. Later, as per their specialities, they will prosper their communities and human being by getting expertise and skilled.
Faith of different communities can be different. They can worship the God with different methods. On the basis of it, they can be said as diversity of cult. Sutra of dialogue and harmony among themselves can be searched. It can’t be said as diversity of religion. For this, there must be a single human religion which is the fundamental of entire human beings in the world. The separate cult may have different methods of worshiping the God. With this central thought, it’s easy to hold sarvapanth conference.  But “I will kill different worshiping method and make others believing in love and harmony my follower by force. I will hate others.” With this intention, it’s impossible to hold conference of various cults. Therefore, it’s mandatory to have faith in human religion to hold conference of various cults. Without respect, loving and harmonious behaviour is impossible.
Importantly, the people with no knowledge of Indian knowledge tradition boast of humanity but at the same time, they fail to make it clear that what’s the common religion of humanity? According to them, followers of humanity are those who either hate or oppose Hindu religion, Christianity and Islamic. This is ridiculous concept that opposing around 99 percent human being out of 6 billion world population is called humanity. Similarly, opposing humanity is called humanity. The reason behind it is that they didn’t think about human religion. They know nothing about basic characteristics and virtues of human being. There is anger towards certain thoughts and imagination. They keep chanting humanity-humanity to spread atheism and materialism. Deep spiritualistic eagerness and meditation are the basic characteristics of the human being. They feel pride in leading the great spiritual intention. They are ready to sacrifice their life. This is the worldwide intensity of human being. Therefore, opposing it is nothing but opposing humanity.
It’s worth mentioning that sanatan religion has always been mentioning about human religion India. The human religion has been used only in sanatan religion or Hindu religion. For this, either common religion or sanatan religion is used. Buddha has called it as arya religion and rishi religion. Aryadharm has been used abundantly in Buddha scriptures like dirgh nikay, sanyukta nikay, etc.   
In brief, it will be judicious to understand fundamental meaning of word ‘dharm’. The word ‘dharm’ has been used as noun and adjective in the Ringved (total 56 times). The meaning of ‘Ghri’ dhatu –to bear, to support, to rear. The word ‘dharm’ arising out of that ‘ghri’ dhatu has been used in masculine and neutral gender.
“Tani dharmani pratamanyasan” (Ri 1/164/43 and 10/90/16) is richa. Apart from it, “prathama dharmah” (Ringved 3/17/1 and 10/56/3) and “sanata dharmani” (Ringved 3/3/1) are used. It makes it clear that ancient religion, pratham religion and sanatan religion have been used widely. In Ramayana, Mahabharata and Purana, word “sanatan religion” has been used. “rishi religion” and “arya religion” were used first of all by Buddha.
The fundamental rules of sanatan religion have been named as general religion and human religion. It has been called general religion of entire humanity. Rajadharmanushasanparva comes under shantiparv of Mahabharat in which in 60th chapter, describing sanatan religion, Bhishma Pitamah says that nine duty or religion are necessary for the entire humanity. Therefore, it has been called sarvavarnik religion. These are victory over anger, speaking truth, equal distribution of resources, forgiveness, sexual intercourse with own wife, external and internal purity, love and affection for animals, conducive nature and simplicity and rearing the people (wife, children, servant, poor). The entire human being must follow these nine religions.
In Manusmriti, these common religions have been called as social religion. These are non violence, avoiding stealing, purity, donation, controlling sense organ, morality, satsang, visiting worshiping places, kindness, simplicity, worshiping, respect, avoiding anger, etc. In Manusmriti, apart from aforesaid four religions, 10 essential features have been mentioned—
“Dhritih kshama damoasteyam shaucham indriya nigrahah I
Dhira vidya satyam akrodho, dashakam dharm lakshanam II”
It means that capacity to assimilate necessary facts, forgiveness, avoiding stealing, purity, morality and studying, losing anger, truth, intellectual duty are 10 features of human religion. In the background of common religion, every Hindu cult devised special religious rules for their followers.
Therefore, human religion is the common religion and concept of common human religion has been mentioned in Indian scriptures. General religion can be the base of peaceful habitation among various cults. All the human being must comply with it. Worshiping method and respect related method can be different. But the human religion can be the base of mutual dialogue among them. The sarvapanth conference will be simple and result oriented. Sarvadharm conference itself is a useless word because it has no concept of general religion followed by entire human being. But it seeks dialogue between each other having thought of violence. When you call somebody who have no belief in your methods of worshiping and faith kafir or hidan or vidharmi and ask for no human religion, then such conference is nothing but a part of strategy. It will provide no result. Holding sarvapanth conference with unanimous consent on general human religion will yield desired result and set up coordination, harmony and brotherhood among entire human being. 

  Sa Prathama sanskritirvishvavara’ is India’s own education system which has been in tradition since time immemorial. The gurukuliya system is different from Macaulay education system. It’s the oldest education system in the world. It’s the systematic, known and great education system. This country was known as world teacher due to saints and rishi having been educated through this education system. Maharshi Manu’s declaration proves this fact.

Etad desh prasutasya 
sakashadagrajanmanah I
Svam svam charitram shiksheran 
prithinyam sarvamanavah II

It means that ved is the source of education system of character of all the human being bowing down to the feet of scholars belonging to India. Description of that education system has been mentioned in literature of Upanishad and religious scriptures. The teacher-student affection is the fundamental element of this education system. A mantra of Yajurved mentions about the entrance at gurukul—

Aadhanta pitaro garbham kumaram pushkarasrajam I yatheh purusho arat II

It means that oh guru! Assimilate this pushkar maladhari kumar in your bomb. Keep it under your sheer guidance at gurukuliya residence. This mantra gives two indications that the parents do handover their child to the teachers for residing at gurukul, hoping that he will become a true human being. The teachers instil refinement in the children so that they can become great persons. They are filled with higher ideals and virtues. This is the ancient, aesthetic and scientific system of human building. There is no alternative to it. This is the real and improved education system in the country. Ideal characteristic virtues of our offspring are on the wane since we left it due to external attack. The country gets weakened. Because the country whose citizens are healthy, mighty, and of good values must be great. Similarly the country, whose citizens are weak, unhealthy and of low morality, must be undeveloped. Highlighting character in gurukuliya education system, the students are taught under sheer guidance of teachers. This process is called keeping the disciple in the bomb.
It has been mentioned in the Atharvaved-

Aacharya upanayamano brahmacharinim krinute garbhamantah I Tam ratrististra udare bibharti tam jatam drashtumabhisamyantidevah II

It means that the word acharya is used here. The meaning of acharya is like that—

‘Aachinoti cha shastrarthan aacharam grahyatyapi I Aachare sthapayechchaiva tasmadacharya uchyate’ II

It means that those who teaches good values and scriptures to the students and instil refinement in them are acharya. Intention of study with good values is reflected here. The students are imparted education with good values at gurukuliya education system. It’s possible under sheer guidance of teachers. It’s an intrinsic part of gurukuliya education system. Therefore, we say that this is the best system of human building. It has no alternative.
The parents play important role in creation of offspring—it has been written in Shatpath Brahman—Matriman, pitraman, acharyavan, purushoved it means that those children whose mother is religious and father is knowledgeable and of good values must become true and scientific person. Mother has been deemed as the first teacher who instils good refinement in the child since childhood. Seeing the good character of father, children become refined. Acharya has the great role to play because he imparts education to the students from age group of 6-7 years to young stage. It has been termed as second birth of human being. It has been said in Manusmriti—

Ka manmata pita chainam yadutpadayato mithah I
Sambhutim tasya tam vidyad yad yonavabhijayate II
Acharyastvasya yam jati vidhivat vedaparagah I
Utpadayati savitraya sa satya sajaramara II

It means that wishing for offspring, the parents give birth to the child. It’s his common birth. But acharya who has expertise in ved builds the child under his sheer guidance is called true birth. With savitri discourse after entry in gurukul, this process begins. Therefore, savitri and acharya are considered as mother and father respectively in this second birth. He emerges as true human being in the society. Even deities are eager to see such scholar with good values—tam jatam drashtum abhisanyanti devah I It is the divine birth of human being. It can be possible only through gurukul tradition. We can make our country jagadguru by adopting this process.
In the present era, Maharshi Dayanand Saraswati focused on true religion of ved again in India and revived ancient gurukuliya system. First of all, he set up Kanya Gurukul for imparting education to the girls. Maharshi Dayanand’s disciple Swami Shradhanand presented this tradition again by setting up gurukul on the bank of Ganga in Hardwar. It gave divine result. Unfortunately, successors of Shradhanand failed to conserve main form of gurukul and Gurukul Kangri turned into school and modern university slowly. Taking inspiration from Shradhanand, his bhakt Phulsingh Jee too set up institution in Haryana. Many gurukuls were set up in India. In the disappointing phase of gurukul, some acharya tried hard to enliven true tradition of gurukul tradition. Pandit Brahmdutt Jigyasu, Swami Brahmanand Dandi, Swami Omanand Saraswati, Acharya Pragyadevi Jee, Acharya Baldev Jee Maharaj and Acharya Pradyuman Jee Maharaj are prominent ones. Tapahput Yogiraj Sanyasi Swami Ramdev Jee Maharaj and Ayurved Shiromani Shradheya Acharya Balkrishna Jee Maharaj gave a new lease of life to this tradition. Divine education is imparted to the students under sheer guidance of Param Shradheya Acharya Pradyuman Jee Maharaj and Tapahput Mahatma Sanyasi Acharya Baldev Jee Maharaj. They spread message of yog in the entire world and Acharya Shri set up ayurved again at universal level. Swami Jee Maharaj and Acharyashri have done tremendous job to re-establish gurukul tradition present it as an ideal before society. The God has given enormous strength to Param Pujya Swami Jee Maharaj so that he has been able to complete almost impossible work. Universal tradition and renovation of education by ancient gurukul system is one of these works. It’s being conducted in the name of ‘Patanjali Gurukulam’ where separate gurukul are being run for boys and girls. Divine and pure atmosphere of gurukul is making beautiful tradition of ancient saints and rishi lively. At present, Vedic Kanya Gurukulam, Acharyakulam and Patanjali Gurkulam are run for the girls at Hardwar. Similarly, a beautiful Patanjali Gurukulam situated in the middle of mountains on the bank of Alaknanda River at Devaprayag is being run. Apart from Sanskrit Grammar, modern subjects are also being taught here. Teachers having good values and dutiful workers contribute in successful functioning of gurukulam under sheer guidance of Param Shradheya Swami Jee Maharaj.

Safety

Campus for girls is highly safe and arranged. The girls study there in serene and peaceful atmosphere. They are instilled good refinement and aesthetic thoughts in peaceful atmosphere.
The girls are fully safe from ideological pollution and unnecessary contacts due to use of mobile phones in the current schools. The girls are not allowed to keep mobile phones with them. In case of need, the guardians can talk to their ward through teachers. In outer atmosphere, the girls apply cosmetics since childhood. It proves as an obstacle in their life. They even don’t imagine of these cosmetics here at gurukulam. Therefore, the girls study with simple lifestyle and higher thought.  They succeed in getting rid of bad habits in their life.

Great lifestyle

Generally, lifestyle of boys and girls in villages are irregular. They rise late in the morning, eat untimely, etc. It is detrimental in student life. But here at gurukulam, the lifestyle of girls is systematic. They rise at 4.30 am in the morning and chant ved mantra prataranim patarindram….It seems that atmosphere of satayug gets enliven with ved chanting. In the morning, they brush their teeth, drink water, do yog, prnayam, exercise and meditation daily so that body and mind can be healthy and fresh. After taking bath in the morning and light breakfast in the evening, they start studying. They enjoy lunch in the day. Later, they take rest for some time. They start study, homework, etc. They also play sports and do various exercise. After taking dinner and walking, they go to bed at 9 pm. They are on the path progress. They concentrate more on the study by staying away from the house.

Best aesthetic meal

Girls are provided with pure aesthetic and balanced meal. Highly sharp, hot, salted and oily diets are strictly prohibited. Fresh green vegetables, fruits and mil are available abundantly. They are useful for their physical and mental development. Healthy body is the abode of healthy mind. Pure and good thoughts develop intellect of girls so that they can contribute in their family, society and the nation.

Practical teaching of Sanskrit language

Although, girls are imparted with modern subjects apart from ancient scriptures, practical teaching of Sanskrit language is given special attention. Ancient Vangmaya has been written in Sanskrit language. Without knowing Sanskrit language, we fail to understand Indian culture, religion, philosophy, yog, ayurved, spiritualism and

History. Without it, India’s soul can’t be understood. Therefore, knowledge of Sanskrit is essential to assimilate Indian tradition.    Chaitra shukla paksha pratipada is celebrated as srishti savtsar, new year, gudi padava or yugadi across the country. This newness appears not only in the human being but also in the entire universe. The tree leaves, which had died, start to laugh. The nature mother seems to be happy with beautiful flowers and fruits. According to British New Year, this festival is celebrated on March 25. It’s said that Lord Brahma had created this universe on this day. Today, whatever universe we see, the mother played important role in the creation of universe. Therefore, the word power is used with ‘mother’- ‘matrishakti. ‘Purush shakti’ has not been used. If we talk about science, it says that energy is the fundamental of this universe. If we listen to discourse of ved-upnishad, rishi, etc, we will find that a vital energy is working inside every human being.

Pranah mata pranah pita pranah bhrata I
Pranah shvasa pranah acharyah prano brahoti II

That power is an intrinsic part of the universe. We can boost it through yog-pranayam. Our micro and macro veins don’t get proper oxygen or vital energy due to lack of that power. This is the reason behind disease. The brain needs higher amount of oxygen. It uses about 20 percent of total vital energy. If it fails to get such an amount, the people start to suffer mental disease like unhappiness, tension, laziness, bad thought, too much expectation, blaming others, etc. Due to which, the people fall prey to diseases. Now question arises that how will the people get rid of this? The answer is yog-yog-yog. Aasana, paranayam, aesthetic diet, meditation, service, surrender, bhakti or ashtang yog (Maharshi Patanjali) and purity, strength and public welfare. Why is the word ‘power’ used with mothers? The answer is that the women have more respect, bhakti, belief, service, soberness, forgiveness, purity in comparison to men. In other words, the men have to inculcate these virtues in themselves, while the women have already virtues by birth. Therefore, whenever the men try to get more power, they worship the deities. Women have the capacity to get associated with this vital energy. The tree continues to grow new leaves till it remains linked with fundamental root. It provides flowers, fruits and shade to the thousands of people. But at the same time, if its root is cut, it will get dried. Similarly, the basis of human being is the vital energy. If they remain linked with it, new thoughts, emotion, happiness, service, etc continue to emerge. If we leave fundamental base, the bad thoughts, depression, etc will ruin us. The people can associate with it through yog. In the Gita, Lord Krishna himself directs Arjuna to become yogi.

Tapastibhyoadhiko yogi 
gyanibhyoapi matoadhikah I
Karmibhyashchadhiko yogi, tasmad yogi bhavarjuna II Gita (6.46)

It means that the sadhana has three ways in the life, whether you will give priority to the knowledge or duty or bhakti. Yog is an intrinsic part of it. Those people who keep their body and mind healthy by practising yog and help other do so are true patriot, worshiper and religious. Patanjali Yogapeeth and Shradheya Swami Jee Maharaj and Pujya Acharya Jee are live example of it. Practising yog and helping others to do so need no money. This work doesn’t need educational degree and certificates. Everybody irrespective of castes, creed, cult, etc can do that. Through this, we help others become prosper, happy, etc. Leading life for own happiness is nothing but to disrespect to our own life. Every mother, sister and daughter do that divine work easily. They decide to live with unknown people by renouncing their own family where they grew. Therefore, they are revered and worshipped. Fulfilling family responsibilities, they play important role in prosperity of country, religion, society, etc. I am proud that around 25-30 lakh sisters are providing their service in the entire country through Mahila Patanjali Yog Samittee to make our country healthy, prosper, refined and spiritual under sheer guidance of Param Pujya Swami Jee Maharaj and Pujya Acharya Jee.   You must be aware of renouncement of Chatak. The beautiful and soft scenery attracts everybody through its mild sound coming out through ponds, sea, etc. It’s enveloped with beautiful mountain. The Himalaya hints at purity. Many rivers in the country are flowing with no obstacle. We are proud of enormous precious gems and ornaments. Everybody gets mesmerised with it. All the beautiful scenes make no impact on Chatak. The bird which is famous for its hard promise gets vibrated by listening roar of heavy rain. The rain provides peace and serenity and quenches thirst of this Chatak which is looking forward to the sky to drink drops of rain water for quenching its thirst. If the Chatak gets dejected for few seconds, it will not need water. It renouncement is unique. The God has great role to play here. It has expertise in testing everything in the world. On the one hand, Chatak has immense faith, on the other the God provides enough strength not to shatter hope. The message of Chatak’s renouncement is unique on the earth. In this regard, Yogeshwar Shri Krishna reminds us about his love and affection towards disciples.

Ananyashchintayanto man ye janah paryupasate I
Tesham nityabhiyuktanam yogakshemam vahamyaham II

I provide shelter to those who worship me with devotion. Listening this ultimate sermons, even hard heart gets filled with kindness. Happiness envelops on the face of it which is eager to get enlightened. On the other hand, if we have a look at the forest, the dear is roaming in search for dense forest to quench its thirst. It does enjoy by watching beautiful scenery. It is still roaming in search for ponds. It grows older and reaches in middle of its life where it gets enveloped with hot and silky rays. It’s the son of Brahma whose youthfulness remains immortal. The dear is in delusion of attractive sun rays falling on the beautiful sands in the desert. This mirage has always been disappointing everybody. It is pushing the dear in the hell. This shloka of Shrimadbhagwadgita depicts such episode—

Indriyanam hi charatam yanmanoanuvidhiyate tadasya harati pragyam vayurnavamivambhasi II
(Gita-2.67)

As the high velocity air puts obstacle in the path of those people who are eager to reach the destination through boat, similarly, the mind deviates the people from their path. It’s not necessary for the person having dwindling mind to return home if they move out in search for realise their dream.

Even the great persons find it hard to succeed in their life due to delusion. There is no need to mention about common people.

Nayam sthanoraparadhah yad enam andho na pashyati I

What’s the offence of leaves falling in the summer season if some blind people collide with them? Beautiful and soft buds arising out of plants and trees in this spring season spread scent in the entire atmosphere. Flowers and fruits envelop the entire atmosphere. It provides peace and serene atmosphere. It gets astonished due to sandal. Cunningness must be renounced. The farmers become happy and prosper. The birds and various animals dance in the forest. Despite, various factors like toxicity, diseases, disappointment, death and birth, fear and infinite longings and wishes create hindrance in the path.

Prakritim yanti bhutani nigrahah kim karishyati I (Gita—3.33)

Will the struggle of aware seekers for getting enlightenment go in vain? No, it’s useless to think so. Because, shattering Arjuna’s misconception, Lord Shri Krishna delivers discourse to us—

Partha naiveha namutra 
vinashastasya vidyate I
Na hi kalyanakritkashchiddurgatim tat gachchhati II 
                                                                                    (Gita- 6.40)

Oh Parth! Nobody can kill the people deviating from their path. Because oh tat! The people engaging in good deed don’t go to hell. As the lotus doesn’t get impacted with dirtiness of mud, it means that it remains untouched with bad thoughts. It makes everything beautiful through its attractive and lovely flowers.
Similarly, despite being in this world which is grappled with sex, infatuation, anger, hatred, cruelty, etc, the guruvar’s feet remains untouched with these irregularities. Also, the people bowing down to his feet can get emancipated from this world.
My mind is eager for getting guru’s love and affection, but at the same time it couldn’t become Chatak.
Is my longing for various luxury and materialistic happiness mirage?
Are my pure soul, character, etc related to time, attire of friend, weapons of enemies, letter of son, eyes of grandson, etc? Is it any conspiracy? 

India is the country of festival which is celebrated in entire country every day. Holi, Deepawali, Rakshabandhan, etc are celebrated in entire country to boost mutual love and affection and harmony. Holi is of great importance in comparison to other festivals. It is celebrated on Phalgun Purnima.

Original form of Holi

Our ancestors, rishi and saints were the reservoir of knowledge. They were expert of diet, thought and behaviour. They have created festivals to boost personal health and social health, prosperity and mutual coordination among the people. The festival removes ignorance, darkness, slavery and provides education and knowledge. After arrival of spring season known as king of seasons, vasant panchmi is celebrated. Vasant shri is in the young stage at that time. Forest, orchard, trees and plants are laden with flowers and fruits. The people don’t use new fruits, cereals, etc without providing them to the deities. This rishi tradition has been in practice since time immemorial. As the human being is considered as the great, similarly the fire is revered of all the physical deities. Therefore, we consume cereals by offering it to the deity fire. ‘Agni vai devanam mukham’ whatever we offer to the deity fire, is received by all the deities. Fire is the messenger of deity. According to ved, it has been called devadut. Therefore, new produce is offered to fire first of all. According to Shruit—‘kevalagho bhavati kevaladi’. It means that eating alone is nothing but committing sin. Supporting Shruti, Manu Maharaj says—

Atham sa kevalam bhudakte yah pachatyatmakaranat I
Yagyashishtashinam hvotat satamannam vidhiyate II (Manu. 3.118)

It means that those people who cook food only for fulfilling their own need, do nothing but commit sin. This intention boosts self interest and longing among the family and society because the gentlemen should consume rest food after performing yagya. In contrary, the unmannered people consume food without performing yagya. In Sanskrit, semi cooked food in fire is called as ‘holak’.

It means that semi cooked food cereal in the fire is called holak. Hola is swalpvat and it controls fat, cough and tiredness. The popular Hindi word hola originates from it.
Because semi cooked gram, wheat, etc in the fire are called cereal ‘holah asyah asti yasyah sa holi’. Due to performing hom of newly produce cereals in vasanti navaposhti or navasasyeshti, it called ‘holakotsav’. Vasanti navasasyeshti means new crops being produced in the spring season. Ishti means consumption of new cereals yielded in spring season in which holak and hole are consumed. Navashasyeshti, holkeshti or holakostsav are celebrated on the occasion of consuming new cereals after production of new crops. Apart from navashasyeshti (yagya) being performed at each household, it is done collectively in every village.

Spiritual message of holika dahan

According to tradition, it’s said that  Hirankashyap’s son Bhakt Prahlad was set ablaze by his mother-in-law Holika who blessed with boon that fire will make no harm to her. According to myth, as soon as fire gets alighted, the cloth covered Prahalad to save his life and Holika died. That’s why Holi is celebrated as a symbol of victory of goodness over bad. It should be understood in practical approach that ego, ignorance and disbelief of the human being is like that of Hiranyakashpak. The bad habits, wishes, longing of the people are like that of Holika. But those people who are bhakt of the God get infinite strength due to blessings. They get total mental purity and prosperity. Those bhakt who continue to worship the God lose nothing. Their concentrated mind kills bad mentality of Holika. The seekers don’t deviate from the path. They remove hurdles happily. The Lord has rightly said in the Bhagwadgita—

Prasade sarvadukhanam hanirasyopajayate I
Prasannachetaso hvashu buddhih paryavatishthate II 
(Gita 2.65)

It means that internal happiness removes all the sorrow of the seekers. The intellect of the happy people attains samadhi. The purity of mind is reason behind happiness which brings samadhi.    
Holika dahan is the symbol of eradication of all the evils. Prahald has the duty not to deviate from the path. The human unity, brotherhood, love and affection, prosperity, happiness and harmony must be used for bringing welfare in the nation. It brings new happiness, hope and bliss and boosts religious and national ideals.

Historical and literary importance of Holi

Spring season and vasant festival have been the popular subjects for the poets in the Sanskrit literature. I the Sanskrit literature of ancient time, Holi has been described in detailed. Great poet Kalidas, Bharavi, Magh and other Sanskrit poets have widely discussed the vasant festival. In the Hindi literature of bhakti and riti period, Holi and Phalgun month are of great importance. From ancient poet Vidyapati to Suradas, Rahim, Raskhan, Padmakar, Jayasi, Meerabai, Kabir and Bihari, Keshav, Dhananad, etc have focussed on this subject. Holi is the ancient festival of India. It’s known as Holi, Holika and Holaka. Many ancient historical and religious books like Mimansa-Sutra and Grihva-Sutra describe this festival. Narada Purana, Bhavishya Purana and manuscripts and scriptures of ancient period mention it. Apart from it, ancient pictures, diagrams and walls of temples also depict it. Medieval Indian temples and diagrams portray the live pictures of Holi. Many historical episodes discuss about this festival. This festival brings a feeling of happiness and bliss.

Importance of colours in vasantotsav

In the ancient time, the Indians used to apply scented materials like kusumsar (scent prepared by flowers) to each other on the occasion of vasantotsav. They used to pour gulab water through pichkari. They used to pour gulab, colour through natural resources. Various types of flowers bring happiness and beautifulness in the forest. All the trees and the plants are chanting the God by making a divine atmosphere. Similarly, we should celebrate this festival with an intention of unity, love and affection. We must not misbehave with others. Hug others and guide them not to deviate from path. Worship the God to get rid of longing.

Oh great solider!

Wipe out the name of those who deceive it Speak truth on the occasion of Holi Country is glorious, India is mother of great warriors Wipe out all the sorrow, today is the Holi Oum Shantih Shantih Shantih. 

   Out of various prakalps of education being run by Param Shradheya Swami Ramdev Jee Maharaj and Param Pujya Acharya Jee, Vedic Gurukulam and Vedic Kanya Gurukulam are prominent. They aim at building fully aware, strong, dedicated saints and sadhvi who can provide best directions and divine leadership to the world. ‘Shreya and preya’ come before the human being. The intellectual persons understand it differently by pondering over it clearly. That intellectual person prefers welfare of human being to luxury. Longing for eternal yog, the fool person adopts luxury.
In the Upanishad, the path of spiritualism was given prominence in comparison to worldly path. But those who decide their own path have two options one is shreya path and other is preya path. This point is debatable that why sanyas path is called great? Why do we select shreya path?
First of all, it’s impossible to emerge this question in the mind because there is no divinity and maturity in the ideological level of the human being. Today, we live on the periphery. We ponder over the subject with no attention. We can say that our consciousness has become so insensitive with dirty layers of bad thoughts that it doesn’t want to think seriously. Today, the human society is nothing but consumer and doing work without pondering over it. It has lost control over itself. There is no possibility of stoppage. It has left the hope of it. Then, it’s natural for you to know that why is the path of spiritualism great? Why should we follow it? It means that your heart has love and affection and it looks like fertile land. The guru has been showering blessings on you. Knowledge and refinement are eager to come out. Let them emerge. Don’t get feared with such bad refinement. You are fortunate enough. You have got an opportunity. How? Because a large section of human being is of view that worshiping God, jap, tap, meditation, yog, social service, support, sanyas, etc are meant for a particular class. They have nothing to do with it. They don’t think over it.
Unfortunately, they search for that happiness which is also the objective of a yogi. But they try to search for that water in the desert like world. As the water is seen in any place in the desert, similarly a worldly person finds happiness in the luxury. Again, the deer reaches there crying, similarly, enjoyer attains that luxury by facing struggle and difficulties. When the deer finds no water at that place, similarly, the enjoyer knows that he got no happiness. His thirst remains the same. Again, he thinks that he may get more happiness. His longing continue to grow. Then he starts to get saddened. Despite having prosperity and happiness, he failed to get bliss. Sankhyakar has said—

Na bhogadragashantirmunivat
(Sankhya. 4, Chapter 27)
Yatprighivyam vrihiyavam hiranyam paravah striyah I
Ekasyapi na paryaptam tasmat trishnam parityajet II

Whatever wheat, barley, rice, gold, animal, women, etc, are on this earth, are not enough for even a single person filled with wishes and longing. And, it’s impossible for a single person to possess such things. If he possesses all these items, he will remain unfulfilled. Therefore, the people must renounce longing and wishes. It’s not easy for him to renounce them.

Therefore, in this vicious circle of bad refinements, if someone feels that should he select the path of shreya? Why is shreya path great? It means that you are out of danger. Don’t fall prey to danger again. Take precaution and provide conducive atmosphere to it to grow.

We must ponder over that why should we select the path of shreya?
Lord Shri Shankaracharya Jee termed three things as rare—(1)  Humanity,  (2) Mumukshta (3) Association with great personality. You are fortunate enough that you have taken birth as human being. But what’s happening? Swami Akhandanand Saraswati Jee says that despite getting human life, the human being is leading a life between duty and enjoy. Surprisingly, despite getting grief in the life, the human being shows no interest to renounce it. He remains indulge in falseness. He has no faith in the truth. He is in illusion. ‘A monkey puts his hand in a small utensil to catch gram, but he failed to take his hand out of it because he was holding cereal in his fist. He will be caught. He must leave fascination of gram to save himself. It’s not possible for human being to enjoy happiness and hold it at the same time. Oh foolish mind! You come in the world to get one thing and face bondage, slavery, prosperity, happiness, worldly prosperity. Those who are not perturbed with the slavery, why will they work hard for getting freedom? Why will enlightenment emerge in them? Therefore, it’s great to get enlightened despite being the human being.

Lord Yogeshwar 
Shri Krishna says in the Gita—
Manushyanam sahastreshu 
kashchiddyati siddhaye I
Yatatamapi siddhanam 
kashchinman vetti tatvatah II
(Shrimadbhagwadgita 7.3)

Enlightenment means wishing for emancipation. Form whom? From grief. What’s the reason behind grief? Attachment. Again, there is point of debate that why does attachment bring grief? Who has attached us? What’s the ways to get free from attachment? In fact, nobody has attached us. Are we attached with either resources or higher post? The property doesn’t recognise its owner and the office bearer keeps changing. When we lose property and post, the grief will pour in. Why? We have got attached with it.

Again, what’s enlightenment? Emancipation from grief. What did we find? Infatuation towards post, property, etc. Then what’s necessary for getting enlightenment. Emancipation from worldly subjects. Then is it possible to emancipate from subjects despite indulging in enjoy. It’s not possible.

It has been said in the Manusmriti—
As the fire gets intensified with aahuti of ghee, similarly, enjoying luxury items in the life is doing nothing but to aggravate longing and wishes. Then when will we get emancipation from worldly subjects? It gives happiness. Although, it’s temporary. But at the same time, it has so attraction that we fail to leave it. But if you want to get rid of it, it’s called enlightenment. You want to get rid of that grief. Attachment is the cause of grief. You are attached with the worldly subjects. In order to get rid of worldly subjects, you have to adopt shreya path instead of preya path. For this, you are required to have a base. Then the third unique thing is getting associated with great personality. Getting sheer blessings of revered guru, listening his discourse, chanting mantra and his sheer guidance help you know that there is grief in the world. You will start to lose attachment to the subjects. It’s possible only when you will bow down guru’s feet by renouncing temporary happiness. However, it’s hard for the human being to practise it despite living in this very world. The Upnishad says that shreya path is the greatest of all. Now, you have attained all three unique things like humanity, enlightenment and association with great personalities. Despite, if you are unable to adopt the path of shreya. If you are not eager to get rid of grief, then loiter around in search for mirage. Search for worldly happiness which you won’t find. Who has stopped you to play with toy? If you consider yourself so weak, then your life will be filled with grief. Be careful. The entire establishment is cautioning you that you will repent one day. Whenever the Satyarth Prakash will come, you will lose the opportunity. When you feel unhappiness despite enjoying worldly subjects, then you will want to follow the path of shreya. But then the life would have been collapsed. Then why do you allow that day to come in your life? Is it necessary for you to experience everything yourself? Everybody narrates its own experience. Every incident and moment give a lesson to us. There is no need to experience everything. Select the best one on the basis of that experience. We have come across with life of all. Those who have go through life householder, life of a sanyasi, life of unsuccessful person, life of successful person, life of drinker, life of a film artist, life of poor, life of millionaire, life of a sportsperson, life of a politician, etc. We have to see that who are happy? What do I want to? Then select it. There is no need to experience everything. If you are doing so, you are doing nothing but to put your fingers in the fire for gaining experience. We don’t do that. Then why are we not in a position to take decision. When you are aware that spiritual path is the great, then take appropriate decision on right time and select the path of sanyas. If you don’t do so, if you enjoy in grief, then lose the opportunity to get emancipation. Loiter around in the world-

Yo vai bhuma tatsukham nalpe sukhamasti
We have to do whatever is beneficial for us in this birth. At what time, we will remain slave. And at what time, we will live unconsciously. We have been enjoying luxury life for many births. If we are not satisfied so far, then how will we get it? We have seen life of the world. You see your parents, brother, sister, etc. Who are happy? Will anybody dare to say that his life was filled with happiness.  And, you can ask a sanyasi who leads his life as boat in the water. He remains same even in happiness and grief, profit and loss, life and death, etc. You have both the alternatives. It’s true that world has great attraction. But at the same time, you have known the truth. Make your effort and accept the path of shreya. At what time will you remain in the grief? If you are daring enough, then break shackle of attachment and recognise your capability. 

Think over it that is it truth or mirage for which you are sweating it out? Are you in a position to answer it that whosoever found it and enjoyed it, got prosperity, peace and bliss? Your life is the ladder of becoming eternal but at the same time you failed to get it. You have considered it which doesn’t exist as your own. Whatever is yours, isn’t recognised by you. It’s nothing but foolishness. You have considered grief as happiness and vice versa. Break the shackle of this pseudo education. Entire existence asks you to take decision unless it will be too late. Be aware of it. Try to close sense organs and go deep down to the innermost soul. Bow down to the guru’s feet. Take decision otherwise you will get perished.

Iha chedavedidatha satayamasti I
Na chedihvavedinmahati vinashtih II

The decision is up to you. You can get enlightenment yourself.
Uddharedatmanatmanam natmanamavasadayet I
Aatmaiva hvatmano bandhuratmaiva ripuratmanah II 
(Shrimadbhagwad, 6.4)

Getting human life is matter of pride and fortune. Similarly, those human beings who aspire to the ultimate goal are fortunate enough. The people face thousands of problems and deviations and they continue to emancipate from griefs. Facing the illusion, the human beings find it hard to attain ultimate goal. In the Gia, Lord Krishna says—

Daivi hayesha gunamayi mama maya duratma I
Mameva ye prapaddyante mayametam taranti te II Gita 7.14

It’s tough to get rid of this illusion. Those who bow down to the feet of guru and the God get rid of this illusion and attain the ultimate bliss. There is an episode in the Mahabharata—Yaksh-Yudhishthir dialogue. Yaksh asks Yudhishthir what is the great surprise?

Ahanyahani bhutani gachchhantih yamalayam I
Sheshah sthavaramichchhanti kimashcharyamitah param II

Thousands of people die daily. Despite, remaining people don’t feel that they will have to die certainly. They feel that they won’t die. What’s more surprising?
This is the episode of Mahabharata where atmosphere was filled with truth and aesthetic. If we talk about today’s context, we face crores of challenges. Adultery and inhuman activities are rampant it the world. People have no option.
Ray of hope remains there in every era whether the condition is conducive or not. Lord Yogeshwar says in the Gita—

Yada-yada hi dharmasya glanirbhavati bharat I
Abhyutthanam dharmasya tadatmanam 
srijamyaham II Gita 4.7
Pavitranam sadhunam vinashaya cha dushkrita I
Dharm sansthapanarthaya sambhavami yuge-yuge Gita 4.8

The God has been coming to the earth in the form of great personalities from time to time to emancipate the humanity in the world. As Lord Shri Ram in Treta and Shrikrishna in Dwapar visited this planet, similarly Param Pujya Shri Swami Jee Maharaj has come to the earth in the present era. There are several saints who are fighting with evils. They are engaged in changing anger into a peace. All these saints deem Param Pujya Shri Swami Jee Maharaj as their proponent. We invite and appeal to those young brothers-sisters who want to do welfare in the world by leading a life of saints, sanyasi with responsibility and aesthetic approach. Only those who bow down to the feet of guru are able to make change in the world. All of you are welcomed here at camp organised on the occasion of Ramnavami festival from March 25, 2020 to April 3, 2020. It’s impossible to express glory of gurusatta in the words. Despite, I would like to express glory of guru through following poem—

Today, we bow down to guru’s feet, 
offer our mind,
We surrender our vital energy to guru.
This era won’t repeat,
We will repent if we miss opportunity.
We know that it is precious time,
We will always follow guru’s direction.
Guru gave life, we surrender life to him,
We take blessings of bhakti to guru.
World looks like burial without guru,
World’s prosperity is like sorrow.
Sun gives darkness without guru,
Water fails to quench thirsty without guru.
Guru is the well to quench thirsty,
Guru looks like the God.
Guru brings happiness in the world,
Guru turns defeat into victory.
Our life was filled with grief,
Guru brings ultimate bliss in our life,
We don’t deviate from path due to guru.
We won’t care for empire,
We won’t care for chanting scriptures, ved.
Everything is useless without guru,
Conclusion of all scriptures is the same.
We wish to bow down to guru’s feet,
We wish to do bhakti for no reason.
Guru is the eternal door in universe,
Everybody has right to get love.
We got blessings of guru,
We liked image of vaidraj guru.
Guru is reservoir of knowledge, tapa,
This is base of this divine dham.
Nothing is greater than that,
We got this unique opportunity.
There is no bhakti without guru,
There is no path without guru.
Guru is the form of the God,
Not to loiter everywhere.
Put attention to the God,
There is no peace without guru.
We bow down to guru’s feet,
Our life became festival by finding guru.
Guru is house and the God,
We found ultimate goal at guru’s feet.
No love is greater than guru,
Don’t deviate from the path of guru.
Don’t break fabric of love and affection,
Yogrishi is the true friend.
No house is equal to that door,
We don’t dare to chant his glory.
We are nothing except a small child,
Guru is life of bhakt,
You are life and base of our vital energy.
We would like to pray day night,
We wish to fill our heart with reverence.
We wish to chant guru’s name,
We wish to breath in guru’s feet, breath our last his feet. 

We don’t care for the word uttered by us while worshiping the God. There is a beautiful line in the Hanuman Chalisa ‘vidyavan guni ati chatur’. Goswami Tulsidas Jee has written this line because he was eager to do godly works. Today’s education system makes people cleaver. They became neither virtuous nor eager for godly work. Probably, our education system provides degree and jobs but at the same time, it fails to instil refinement. In that time Ravana held higher degree and nobody was parallel to him. But due to lack of virtues, Ravana is killed every year. Refinement is not a medicine which can be inserted in the people. Therefore, the people need to understand refinement. In simple word, refinement is such ornament through which everything turns beautiful. As ornament is used in sentence to make it beautiful, refinement also makes such impact on the human being. We can see the smog in the burning sandal. We can only feel that scent. Refinement looks like such scent.

When we talk about refinement in the modern lifestyle, it seems that somebody is delivering sermons. I asked a question regarding refinement at yog camp, she replied that she tuned to the sanskar channel to watch Swami Jee. Somebody laughed at her. Nobody has time to think over refinement. Certainly, various educational institutions are providing unrefined education to the students. It has no capacity to face challenges before family, society, nation, etc. According to an estimate, India is the youngest country in the world. But at the same time are these youths ready to face challenges of 21st century? When we listen about anti-India slogan at some universities in the country, it seems that their refinement lacks something.

Today, most of the teachers choose education sector for their livelihood. There is nothing bad to do so. But if money is so important then why did school education lose importance? Moreover, the parents’ priorities are getting changed. They leave no stone unturned to invest in materialistic facilities of the children. In that condition, such lines of Swami Vivekanand assume significance that “our time and good refinement are the great things to invest on the children”.       

Moreover, parents are the first teacher of instilling refinement in the children. They must instil good refinement to the children. Apart from parents and teachers, family, society and educational atmosphere play an important role in development of children’s personality. Therefore, the children themselves must be aware and conscious. With passage of time, body is undergone many hormonal changes. Their friend circle gets diversified. Therefore, parents and teachers must play the role of friend with the children whose own decision makes great impact on their life. They must be disciplined. They will face many challenges in their life. Discipline will protect them from deviating from path. Gardner looks after all the plants equally. But the plants develop no equal flowers and fruits. The first sutra of Yog Darshan is --- “Atha yoganushasanam”, therefore, the children must be aware of yog.

Children have great interest and capacity to learn. They are filled with immense energy. Their questions are of diversified and logical. Finding no solution, they start to gather information from various means. Whatever they feel, they try to experiment it. They must be provided with atmosphere for better result of their experience and experiment. Unnecessary chiding and providing imaginary solution to their questions make detrimental effect to their development. As the cement needs water in initial stage to get strengthened, similarly, good refinement should be instilled in the childhood.

Children are advised to take care of our atmosphere…

Because, you will be reason behind country becoming prosper…

Therefore, it’s need of the hour that refinement should be instilled it the mind of children so that it can become their nature.

With the passage of time, many definitions get changed. Diet, behaviour and thought are getting changed. Despite, Indian philosophy and Indian traditions are showing path to people in India and in the world. These are the speciality of our Indian culture and refinements.

In the Indian culture, activities from gestation stage to death have been linked with refinement. Therefore, every child born here in India gets refined spontaneously. Refinement needs to be beatified. Initially, children’s mind is like fresh paper upon which everything can be written. It gets imprinted in their mind. Therefore, parents’ role assumes significance. As soon as the children start to walk and speak, they are admitted to the school. Despite, house is the first school of the children.

There was a time when students go to gurukul system for getting education. Such education system was popular in the entire world. We can blame the Macaulay Education System for providing unrefined education to the students, but at the same time, the society also missed opportunity in this direction. Refined education is getting flourished under the sheer guidance of Param Pujya Swami Jee Maharaj. Patanjali Gurukulam, Vedic Gurukulam, Vedic Kanya Gurukulam, Acharyakulam Patanjali University brought a ray of hope. Watering plants and washing fruits are called refinement. Pujya Guruvar played an important role in bringing back glory to yog, ayurved and indigenous. The refinement is instilling in children through these institutions. This initiative must bring revolution and glorify India in the entire world. Under the sheer guidance, the teachers of these schools aim at not only at earning money but also instilling refinement in the children who will be instrumental in bringing prosperity in the country. A big education revolution is being heard in the country in the days to come.

Children are those buds, which will glorify the world by becoming great personalities, Children are that soil, which will make country, society and nation great.
