'Patanjali Gurukulam', making new revolution in the field of education to regain the lost glory of vedic culture, was inaugurated by RSS chief Sri Mohan Bhagwat who is considered to be the patron of vedic sanatan Hindu religion, culture, civilisation, refinement and its sensations. The gurukulam situated at the base of mountains and on the bank of river is filled with natural beauty. It reminds us the ancient gurukul. On the occasion, Sri Bhagwat said that the gurukul itself is the best word. In the gurukul, the guru shapes his disciples by considering them as his kulvahak and initiates into diksha to make them human, he added. In gurukul, the guru teaches the disciples through behaviour apart from books. The best experiments must be run continuously in the gurukul, he said adding that the patanjali gurukulam students will set up gurukul in the villages. This gurukul is the gangotri of education from where an uninterrupted source of energy will come out, he opined. Sri Mohan Bhagwat said that the knowledge is infinitive, it can't be evaluated only by counting subjects. Today, the students are imparted with the knowledge of Science and Technology, Physics, Chemistry. But it's not an entire knowledge. The knowledge must instil refinement in the human being. There is a lack of institutions providing moral, fundamental and cultural knowledge in the country. Sri Bhagwat said that the soul gets human body after several births. Don't lose it. The human being can become the best through his good duty. Those who shower love on the entire world are the great human being. India will provide this vedic knowledge to the entire world.

Lord Rama had the great soul that we call him the god. Rama followed no cult and belief. Everyone calls him an ideal person. On the occasion, Pujya Yogarshi Swami Ramdev Jee Maharaj said that he was suspicious that what would happen to the glorious culture of India and vedic knowledge tradition of sages, but it seemed that these small rishikumar would help India make world guru by 2050. By adopting culture of sages, these rishikumar will certainly bring renaissance of glorious history of the Indian culture. Patanjali yogapeeth is the torchbearer of vedic culture and carrier of commitment and ideals of their ancestors. He said that patanjali gurukulam is the soul of patanjali yogapeeth. Over Rama temple, Swami Jee Maharaj said that the Lord Rama is the culture and ideal of this country. Rama is the ancestor of all the cults in India. Rama is the nature of this country and he lives in the heart of every Indian.
In the programme, Junapeethadhishwar, Acharya Mahamandaleshwar Swami Avdheshanand Giri Jee Maharaj said that the intellectual human being is the best in the era of technology. The experiments conducted by the patanjali in the fields of agriculture, indigenous, yoga, ayurveda and education are divine. It's the proof of presence of the ultimate god. The indigenous products are available in every household in the country. The sense of indigenous played important role in freedom struggle. Post-independence, the people had been holding discussion over indigenous things in the country for many years, but it was patanjali which presented indigenous as the best alternative. I see the future of India in patanjali gurukulam where the students will build new India. Highlighting the importance of Sanskrit, he said that it's popular as an effective subject in the entire world. Several countries like Germany, Netherlands, Uruguay have made it mandatory for the students to study Sanskrit as a subject. I am elated over establishment of patanjali gurukulam so that no western civilisation will make us slave. On the occasion, Shradheya Acharya Balkrishna Jee Maharaj said that it's not only inauguration of an institution but also a beginning of renaissance of culture. Patanjali yogapeeth is making revolution in many fields like yoga, ayurveda, nephropathy, research, agriculture, indigenous revolution and education revolution. Vedic gurukulam, acharyakulam, patanjali university, ayurveda college and patanjali gurukulam are our prominent steps of our revolution. Acharya Jee said that Sri Mohan Bhagwat Jee is making effort for cementing unity, diversity, culture and values of India. On the occasion, Pujya Gurudev Acharya Pardyuman Jee Maharaj said that we must instil beauty of refinement apart from prosperity in the life. The ultimate goal of life must be the peace. We must consider service to human being as religion by experiencing total in our life. He said that we all are fortunate enough that we are participating in the inauguration of patanjali gurukulam meant for building human being.

On the occasion, the patanjali gurukulam students chanted shloka and ashtdhyayi of Geeta and Chanakya Neeti. They practised various asana of yoga. Chief central in charge Sadhvi Devpriya Jee, Dr Jaideep Arya Jee, Sri Rakesh Kumar Jee, chief general manager Sri Lalit Mohan Jee, local MLAs, village heads and thousands of villagers were present in the programme.
RSS Chief was on two-day visit to patanjali yogapeeth. During which, he inspected various activities being launched by patanjali. Sri Bhagwat visited patanjali food and herbal park, patanjali research institute, patanjali herbal garden, patanjali cow shed and showered praise on the welfare works being done by patanjali. Sri Bhagwat planted a sapling in patanjali herbal garden.

Lokamangal to Atmamangal

Shradheya gurudev acharya
Pradyuman Jee Maharaj

In the previous issue, we have discussed lokamangal elaborately. Now, we come to atmamangal which means that ultimate peace, relief from sadness, excessive love. Lokmangal happens through capacity which can be of various types like- writer, speaker, vaidya, farmer, teacher, industrialist, shopkeeper, policemen, clerk, military, political leader etc. Atmamangal happens through service, sacrifice, knowledge and love.
The people must understand that capacity and knowledge are different from each other. Capacity is a power and knowledge is a type of light. It's worth mentioning that the knowledge is not that which are known. Knowledge is that through which something can be known. It's possible that somebody has the capacity of reciting religious scriptures but he lacks knowledge. It's also possible that the people are knowledgeable without any religious awareness. Those who have both the qualities are known as 'shrotriya brahmnishth' for example--Acharya Shankar, Swami Dayanand etc. Maharshi Raman is an enlightened person, but he no religious knowledge. Many university professors themselves accept that they lack knowledge.
Knowledge wipes out our ignorance. We start considering ourselves whatever we get from others. Knowledge says that whatever gives a sense of separation, can't be our own. Knowledge also says that whatever is called mine, is not mine. It means that god's blessings wipes out intention of our own. Knowledge removes our ego.
Knowledge helps us get rid of ignorance. It removes longing for objects and attachment. It provides purity and serenity to us. It make us totally alone. We have noting to lose. Therefore, we have no fear in my life. Then we get rid of sex, wrath and attachment. Similarly, knowledge makes us a disciplined person. We must pay respect for those who have shown path to us. If you pay disrespect to the knowledge, there will be no place for atmamangal in your life.
An important point regarding atmanangal is that we experience that knowledge through which we can know everything. The knowledge wipes out all the acceptances. Shruti says that-- tadeva brahma tvam viddhi nedam yadidamupasate I Tadev hints at the lighter. Therefore, tadev means all the acceptances of pure light come under 'idam'. Although, there are two forms of acceptance- sadhan form and asadhan form. For example--How handsome I am? I am prosperous. I am writer. I am donor. I am saviour. In contrary, I am fool. I am ignorant. All these are asadhan form acceptance. But somebody says that he is celibate, yogi, sanyasi and tapas. All these are sadhan form acceptance. Initially, sadhan form acceptance can wipe out asadhan form acceptance. Later, sadhan form acceptance is also wiped out through 'aham brahamasmi' also becomes stable. There is only pure prakashak knowledge which had provided light to the 'aham brahamasmi'.
Upnishad Darshan aims at making people aware of this very fact. For example-In Brihada. Shruti (3.8.11), replying Gargi's question, Yagyavalkya answered that 'tadva etadaksharam gargyadrishtam drashtrashrutam shrotramatam mantravigyan vigyatu, nanyadatoasti drashtri nanyadatoasti mantri nanyadatoasti vigyatretasminnu khalvakshare gargyakasha otashcha protashvati I
It means oh Gargi ! That akshar tatva is adrishta. Nobody saw him. But it is drashta due to drishti form. It was not heard. It is audience due to shruti form. It's not a matter of akshar manan due to avishay. It's manta due to mati form. That's why, it's not vigyat. It itself is vigyata due to science form.
Moreover, no drashta is creator of darshan kriya. That akshar is the creator of sarvatra darshan. Similary, there is no different audience. There is no different manta. That akshar is recital. There is no different vigyata. That akshar is the creator of science activity.
Oh Gargi ! Certainly, the entire sky envelops that akshar which is ultimate goal. It's the soul. That akshar is truth.
Kenopnishad Shruti also says that it remains the vigyata. It never comes under the category of vigyeya due to not being the subject of mind, intellect. Sense organ with low IQ is known as micro-sthul material. There is only one way to know it that it can be pacified. Then there is remaining one--anyadev tad viditadatho aviditadadhi I (1.3) means that whatever sthul--micro material gets formed as the subject of our knowledge, is different from all. It remains as a vishayai.
Defining bhuma in Chhandogyopanishat Shruti, it has been indicated that-

Yatra nanyatpashyati nanyachchhrinoti nanyadvijanati sa bhumath
yatranyatpashyatyanyachchhrinotyanyadvijanati
tadalpam yo vai bhuma
tadamritmath yadalpam tanmartyam (7.24.1)

It mean that the way there is watcher, listener and ultimate which is different from scene in public behaviour, then it sees, listens and knows through other drishtavya shrotavya or gyatavya subject through sense organ. Nobody listens, watches and knows in bhumatatva where is only the ultimate god. We can say that-- shivam shantam advaitam prapagnchopashamam (Mandukya--8) there is only peace after sarvprapanch.

All the great personalities in the world--whether they are in the fields of yoga, spiritualism or sports--have a special quality that they exercise that knowledge and arts daily. Knowledge and exercise are two important aspects of our life. The knowledge is of great importance.
Sankhya Darshan says that-gyananmuktih- it means that the knowledge emancipates from bondage. Krite gyananna muktih it means that there is no emancipation without knowledge. But it seems that knowledge is beneficial at a time when we exercise it daily

Knowledge is not only for knowing something but also for living a disciplined life. Yoga Darshan also says that we want to remove all the sorrow, disorders problems and get samadhi. We have to adopt vairagya and do exercise for that. Abhyasavairagyabhyam tannirodhah (Yogadarshan-1.12)- it means that we can get rid of painful thoughts and activities through exercise and vairagya.

In Gita, Arjuna as the representatives of all of us asked Lord Srikrishna that your statements are true but how can it be lived? Srikrishna replied--'abhyasen to kaunteya, vairagyena cha grihasteI' (Gita-6/35)-- we can control the mind through vairagya and mind which are important in vedic vangmaya. Exercise is essential for bringing perfectness in the work. We are aware of yoga removing all the diseases, disorders and bringing purity and serenity in the life. Maharshi Dayanand too used to exercise 8-8 hours daily to search for god. Are we giving importance to such exercise in our life? We should do exercises like rising the early morning, controling continuous thoughts in the mind, yoga and pranayam, thinking good and speaking good. watching good, listening good, eating good and working hard. Those who want to move ahead in the life, work for nation and society practise expressing good thoughts. If we have uncontrolled thoughts, we can suffer with serious diseases. For example, during the coronation of Lord Rama, an uncontrolled thought polluted the mind of Kekaiyi. Various misunderstandings and illusions started to arise in the mind of Kekaiyi. It means that our thoughts make direct impact on our life, society and nation. The uncontrolled thoughts are the reasons behind domestic disputes between husband and wife and in the family. We must speak when it's necessary and avoid it when it's unnecessary. For example--had the great personalities like Dronacharya, Bhishma Pitamah said that you can wage war in the battlefield but you should not indulge in such inhuman act because she is our kulbadhu and prestige of our family, the history of Mahabharata would have been something different. We think that we will do exercises like yoga and pranayam in the morning but at the same time, we go to bed again. Because, we don't give importance to the exercise. Generally, we make chart of doing exercise but we fail to apply in our life.
Doing hard work is of great importance in our life. Lack of doing hard work is the reason behind rampant corruption, loot, stealing and other irregularities. Given the prosperity and better lifestyle of the laborious people, the lazy ones want to lead such life without doing hard work. They indulge in stealing, deceiving others and corruption. We should do hard work. Lack of hard work also causes serious diseases. For example, Shradheya Swami Ramdev Jee Maharaj's wealthy disciple lives in Delhi. His house is equipped with centrally ACs. When his children started going school, they faced serious diseases. Hard work boosts immune system of the body.
There should be a proper time period of sleeping. Some children remain awaken till 3 am in the night and rise by 10-11 am in the day. They suffer from tension and other disorders. Our sages say that we should go to bed early in the night and rise early in the good muhurt and do yoga and paranayam.
We must have patience. Sometimes, trivial issues cause fighting and other problems in the family and society. We should lead a peaceful life. Maharshi Dayanand focuses on doing meditation which is not sitting for half an hour and chanting mantra. We remain in peaceful state for entire day. Similarly, we must do self study. We must recite good scriptures--'tapah svadhyayeshvarapranidhanani kriyabhogah' I when the disciples return home after gaining education, the Upnishad sages give sermons to the them. 'svadhyayapravachanabhyam ma pramad' it means that engage in self study and discourse. Because you can forget the lessons if you don't exercise daily. Similarly, discourse must be delivered daily so that the people can take benefit from it. The knowledge must play a pivotal role in enlightening the people.
We should try to attain the ultimate god which is omnipresent, powerful etc. The god doesn't express that qualities. Similarly, we say that the god resides in our heart. I am total but at the same time why is it not getting expressed? We must have patience. Why do we lose temper on trivial issues? We become sad and uncomfortable. We say that --'Vishnoh karmani pashyat'--It's god who made entire universe with hard work. Then why are we not laborious? We made no exercise to express that godly powers.
All the sound are present in the harmonium and musical instruments. They provide melodious sound when we work on them. Those who made no exercise on the musical instruments can't produce good sound. Therefore, we must adopt doing hard work in our life to express godly qualities.

It was intellectual knowledge which helped me establish as an ideal in this very world. It's the knowledge which changed my entire life. Yes, there is knowledge, there is everything for me. And at this moment, I am sharing this knowledge with all of you.

Everybody wants prosperity

In childhood days, I used to ask myself that what do I want to or what do I not want to? What is the aim of my life?
I still remember the golden childhood days, my village, mangoes in the orchids in village, sweet dishes made by my mother, joy of swimming in the pond. I along with my childhood friends like all these things in that days. But my desires changed with passage of time. I enjoyed in reading and yoga. Therefore, I visited Khanpur gurukul. In those days, most of my childhood friends used to like wearing costly clothes, riding on motorcycle and watching movie. Some friends used to like praise, while some would enjoy in going out station with their family members. Some friends used to work hard in making money. But there is similar thing among them is the prosperity.
In fact, we got bliss through all these aspects. I knew very well that what do I want to? Yes, I too want bliss, others too want it. Everybody wants bliss whether it's yogi or bhogi.
The desire for getting bliss is the first desire of human being. We want bliss, therefore, we want everything which provides it. We sweat it out to get that bliss.

Everybody wants Emancipation from Sorrow

On the basis of joyful experiences, I felt that I want only bliss in the life. But later, one aspect got added in my thought. In fact, when we developed wound in my feet, I suffered from paralysis and I tasted failure in life, I faced sorrow. I faced it many times. Then I felt that I dislike sorrow. Another experience is that after facing sorrow, the desire for joy got declined and effort for removing sorrow got escalated. Then I used to make effort to get rid of sorrow. It was my experience which gave lesson to me that until the sorrow is eradicated, we don't even think of joy. Similarly, desire for emancipation from sorrow is more active than that of getting joy.

We knew our one desire for getting joy and emancipation from sorrow. In the next issue, we will know the rest three desires

1. Desire for purityjustification
2. Desire for ownership
3. Desire for stability

I also consulted with doctors at Rajiv Gandhi Cancer Hospital Delhi where I was advised to undergo surgery once again. Apart from that, I also consulted with Dr Anil Kumar Gupta at Bhagwan Mahavir Cancer Hospital Jaipur where I was also advised to undergo surgery. Later, on the advice of Acharya Baldev Jee and Swami Parmanand Jee, I visited patanjali ayurveda hospital at Salvan Ashram. Earlier, I had already met Swami Ramdev Jee Maharaj and Shradheya Balkrishna Jee Maharaj. Swami Jee advised me to practise yoga and pranayam, while Shradheya Balkrishna Jee Maharaj asked me to take some herbal medicines. At that moment, I was unable to practise yoga and pranayam due to physical inability. I started undergoing treatment under the able guidance of Dr Sushila at Rohtak based patanjali health centre. According to her advice, I took herbal medicines like giloy, evergreen, tulsi, neem, pepal leaves. I took medicines in drops. My wife assisted me in practising pranayam. I used to do kapalbhati for two-three hours, anulom vilom for two-three hours, 5-5 ujjayi pranayam five times a day, 21-21 bhramari thrice and udgith pranayam. I got benefited immensely from yoga. I defeated cancer in 2008. Since then I have been practising yoga and pranayam. I offer prayer, havan, path and yoga daily. My weight increased to 74 kg, while haemoglobin level also increased to 16 gm. I enjoy a happy life. I am confident that Swami Jee Maharaj help India become world guru through yoga.

With new energy, he completes his duty without expecting results. But at the same time very few people have such thirst for life. Srimadbhagwadgita certifies it-

Manushyanam sahastreshu kashchid yatati siddhaye I
Yatatamapi siddhanam kashchinmam veti tatvatah II (7/3)

Out of lakhs of people, someone acknowledges that the life is valuable. It's sin to lead life purposelessly. He proceeds on the path of spiritualism. He has to face obstacle while keeping alert. Only alert persons can attain spiritualism in their life. He acknowledges the obstacle very easily. He has to practise alertness. Now question arises that what's the yardstick to know someone moves on the path of spiritualism and he has found the way of life. There is only one way-behaviour. The people's behaviour indicates about his spiritual prosperity. His every behaviour reflects his purity. His every effort gives new direction in the entire atmosphere. His duty indicates totality of his life. Veda knowledge 'sven kratuna samvadeta' exactly fits into his life. According to the religious scripture, his life will be something like this:

Abiding religions of Maharshi Manu

Maharshi Manu described 10 characteristics of religion-

Dhulikshamadamoasteyam
shauchamindriyanigrahah I
Dhirvidyasatyamakrodho dashakam
dharmalakshanam II

The 10 characteristics of religion- ghriti, forgiveness, will power, vitality, shauch, having no longing, patience, education, truth, peace- become his objectives. He remains alert for fulfilling that objectives. He provides divine perspective to everyone.

Sthit pragya of Gita

In Srimadbhagwadgita, Arjuna asked that oh Keshav! Whose pragya is atharva, means stable and how is his behaviour? Because, it's behaviour which is the source of inspiration for others. What type of achievement of this sthit pragya? The reason behind Arjuna asking this question from Keshava is to know the behaviour of enlightened persons. In the third chapter of Gita, the character of the great persons has been described.

Yadyadacharati shreshthastatadevetaro janah I
Sa yatpramanam kurute lokastadanuvartate II

Defining character and behaviour of enlightened persons, Krishna asks Arjuna that he remains alert, he has no longing, he concentrates on a particular thing, he remains the same whether it's sorrow or happiness and he listens to his mind.
The yardstick of spiritualism is the behaviour according to religious scriptures. Param Pujya Swami Jee tells about perspective and achievement. He says that your perspective gets success, if you assimilate it in your behaviour and character. It's called knowledge. There is a misconception on the path of spiritualism that we start considering ourselves as seeker by limiting our knowledge to the thoughts.

The conclusion is that you should not waist precious moments of life in the struggle of thoughts. Param Pujya Swami Jee hints at three truths- to know, to awaken, to live. Then if you knew something and awakened somebody and failed to know how to live, then the effort would go in vain. Therefore, we should know our strength honestly with patience and alertness and awaken it. We should make all out efforts to realise it.

It's obvious that today India needs a new ideological revolution. The reason behind it is that there has been a systematic kingdom rule and political arrangement in the country since time immemorial. Indian society has been witnessing all types of political arrangements.

India got independence from British by sacrificing their huge number of martyrs. The condition of England got worsened post Word War II. In fact, it was India which defended military of England and France in that war, otherwise Germany would have defeated them. Britishers had started shivering due to Subhas Chandra Bose. They were apprehensive that Netaji might appear in new avatar to dethrone their regime. Therefore, they thought that before this, it would be better to transfer the regime in the hands of their loved ones to run the government. Therefore, it was called transfer of responsibility and later whosoever were ready to fulfil this responsibility as their agents started to call it as transfer of power. Meanwhile, due to affection, the indigenous Indian society failed to gauge nature of those who had learnt the London politics by making friendly terms with the Britishers. Later, they cheated the countrymen.
They implemented previous rules and regulations of the British system in India. There was a system prevailed in half part of India till August 15, 1947. They reaped the befit from the great enthusiasm arising out of massive patriotism in the country. They convinced indigenous kings to be the part of federal India. However, they were ready to do so. They deceitfully snatched away the rights given by the Britishers to the Indian rulers. The remaining 525 regional kingdoms (mostly Hindu states) had been enjoying these rights which were snatched away by new rulers. It was a sin of renouncing Indian knowledge tradition and society tradition. They didn't ponder over that how would rules and regulations of England suit the vast country like India. England is as small as Chhattisgarh. The Britishers were compelled to return home after 90 years.
In fact, they got love and affection from Indians. Therefore, they thought that they would succeed in befooling the Indians. It's a proof of their ignorance.
India Act 1935 is the very basis of the Indian constitution which included several liberal arrangements upon which Indians can amend it.
But Jawaharlal Nehru had inclined towards the Communist. Keeping the country in dark, he was ready to run the government in line with Soviet Union. He promoted the bureaucracy dependent on party leaders. For the first time, the ruling dispensation controlled all the rights and started to function. Moreover, the right to property (fundamental right) was also snatched away from the people. Apart from that, the misdeeds were rampant in the country. The English education was promoted. The ruling dispensation promoted the Christian missionaries. Education and communication system were in the government control. The state was considered as the owner of national property. The Indian kings never did so in the history.
Moreover, no Indian ruler made a law according to the Indian tradition. The rulers used to understand social tradition, creed system religion and discipline.
Various groups of Indian society themselves have been devising rules and regulations. The Indian society has been following the norms for thousands of years. All the groups used to give their consent during coronation. The ruling dispensation would guarantee to follow the norms and rituals. All these would happen in conducive atmosphere. That's why, the word king was used. Those who were educated, smart and beautiful were called kings. The word like king was not in use in India. Even Gandhi Jee didn't imagine the word like king. He had said that the Indians won't adopt it. But the Congress leaders set up a new kind of arrangement by turning down Gandhi Jee's suggestions. They accepted Gandhi Jee as their main leader but it was false. He took no inspiration from Gandhi Jee. He only used Gandhi Jee. Jawaharlal himself had said that the Congress had given no consent on Gandhi Jee's thoughts and the Congress working committee had passed no proposal seeking to validate his thoughts expressed by him in Hind Swaraj. Now question arises that is the constitution providing a universal democratic republic not true?
This very article was taken from US. But truth is that all the leaders were disciplined and patriotic during freedom struggle. They were in favour of a constitution promising for a welfare state. The constitution must be easy to amend.
As chief of draft committee of the constitution Jawaharlal Nehru himself had said that the rules and regulations of the constitution would be changed with passage of time. The constitution must not be held responsible for the rampant problems in the country.
It was the rules and regulations for running the government with a view to transfer the Britishers' responsibility taking inspiration from English education by some Indians. It must be praised. But the Indian aborigines, sanatan religion follower or Hindu society are in view that the government must function with consent of all the stakeholders. It means that the government must function according to huge knowledge tradition and sanatan tradition. The government responsibility is to protect that rules and implement them. It was beyond imagine that some persons would devise rules and regulations for the government. The Britishers did so because they had no affection for Indians. It's clear that they made India Act 1935 given the interests of Britishers.
The constitution makers were in view that it's unstable arrangement. Nehru Jee himself accepted this.
Due to Soviet Union's effect, he made many arrangements to reject the Indian traditions. They implemented the rules and regulations of many European countries specially England and US for the last 200 years. No matter their intention is to provide good governance. But it suited neither global aspects nor Indian traditions.
The main thing is that he devised education rules devoid of Indian traditions. The government took control on education system in the country. The children were not imparted education as per Indian traditions. The Indians forgot that the country has a huge knowledge tradition in every fields like politics, sociology, religion, finance upon which the government has been running good governance for thousands of years.
Therefore, the educated persons started to believe that this system would remain in practice in coming years. It will be different from the Indian knowledge tradition. They started to float new political parties. That's why, no political party, which can preserve the Indian knowledge tradition, came to existence in the last 70 years.
There was a group which was talking about democracy in the country. They have been fighting for power for the last 70 years.
Whatever political parties are in India, are the part of that group. That's why, they focus on the ideology of the particular thinker. No political party claimed to adopt Indian knowledge tradition, while the states have always been favouring it.
So, it's right time to float such political party which follow the rules and regulations of Indian knowledge tradition. It must declare that the state's duty will be to adopt and improve the Indian knowledge traditions.
