<h5 style="text-align:justify;">1.   It is our aim to promote the best quality modern education of science, art, research and also to develop a new world and to train the students so that they could be prepared for a great role to be plaid by them.</h5>
<h5 style="text-align:justify;">2.   Along with the best quality education we also want them to make them realization of the best quality Vedic education so that all round development of the students could be ensured. Along  with intellectual development, their emotional development, physical, spiritual development and making them skillful and the last but not the least to develop all sorts of leadership quality , etc. are our top priority.</h5>
<h5 style="text-align:justify;">3.    The natural strength of knowledge as a blessing of the almighty , power of feeling and the power of action etc. have been equally blessed to everyone by the Almighty. The much we arouse the three types of powers , his personality and talent will develop in that proportion.</h5>
<h5 style="text-align:justify;">    It will be our target by the means of Vedic education board that such types of process, methods and resources could be development so that students could get not only complete knowledge but they could also get the greatest skill , human values and its divinity could be developed so that greatest world citizens could be build.</h5>
<h5 style="text-align:justify;">4.  Knowing oneself and the society, making them aware and getting the greatest divinity and completeness are the goals. Though salvation, endeavour, environment, teachers and teachings play a great role in it. Even then our priorities , velocity and movement and the duty for the era play a great role.</h5>
<h5 style="text-align:justify;">5.  We should never welcome something that is ominous, we should also not insult the auspicious. Lack of knowledge and ill will generated out of it , ill intentions, and ill actions must be avoided and we should engage ourselves in good knowledge, good feelings and good actions. Practising education, greatest penance, and greatest skills and greatest feelings must be practised which means the knowledge of at least five foreign languages , etc. are our purposes so that success in life , humbleness, and along with greatest achievements we could make the whole world aware of the glory of being an Indian.                 <title>Indian Education Board Need and purpose</title>

Education ensures social equality and social and economic justice in the society. If timely qualitative changes are introduced in the education system, then it is bound to yield a good result. Actually the education system is devised by the ruling class of a society but it has been the irony of India that even today we are influenced by foreign rulers and their mind set. By promoting their foreign values we have been blindly following their system of education imposed on us to build mechanical humans like clerks which suppresses innovative ideas. Due to the absence of strong will power, Indians have not been able to  utilize their own Sanskar or moral values and value based education for the expansion of Indian culture, language, art and traditions. Due to this reason on one hand our culture lags behind and on the other hand a western mind set based society is being build which is in fact dissatisfied. As a result joint families are getting fragmented into nuclear families, and today's students seem to have become largely incompetent, dissatisfied, intolerant, anarchist and lacking in patience.<br /> The inequality, injustice, dissatisfaction, lack of patience and intolerance and anarchy can be sorted out only with the help of a well balanced education system for all. Central Advisory Board of Education (CABE) and National Education Eommission have expressed their opinion that science and knowledge based on Indian culture and Indian values can contribute in a great way to the progress, security and welfare of the country. It has also been clearly felt that a system of education not based on social moral and spiritual values is a major flaw of the curriculum in Indian schools. In the 55th meeting of CABE there was a mention that even UNESCO is of the view that to ensure world peace it is required to include the elements of culture and spiritualism in education. Under the guidance of the present Narendra Modi regime, if we look at the context of CABE's immediate decisions the board makes it clear that we have to pledge to promote human value based education, skilled based life education and practical education so that we can transform the students into good citizens by the means of a good education system.</h5>
<h5 style="text-align:justify;"><img src="https://www.patanjaliyogsandesh.com/media/2023-06/078.jpg" alt="07"></img><br />In the light of this discussion what emerges is that there are flaws in the present education system and improvement is needed in it. What is required for this are necessary changes in the education system, new schemes for the training of  teachers, the use of modern and ancient mediums of education, training for evaluation, selection of various standards , physical and psychological health, evaluation of commercial skill and an impartial examination system. For this purpose, an equivalent of the present Central Board of Secondary Education and ICSE is most needed which will be able to plug the flaws and with a comprehensive outlook, it could be established as a complete alternative.</h5>
<h4 style="text-align:justify;"><span style="color:rgb(186,55,42);"><strong>To eradicate the flaws of present education system: </strong></span></h4>
<h5 style="text-align:justify;">Given the fall in human values being witnessed these days some kind of flaw is being observed in the Indian education system and its curriculum and many educationists in the last 3-4 decades have done research and contemplation on it and have conceded that the blend of the ancient Vedic culture based education and modern methods of education can be incorporated in the curriculum to remove the above mentioned flaws. To get it done there is a need for such an education board approved by the union government which could work as a bridge between them. To bring a qualitative improvement in the level of education of the elementary and secondary schools, it is needed to include the ancient knowledge of sages, spiritualism, philosophy and scientific values apart from modern education so that a common human could be turned into a great human, divine human and a responsible world citizen.</h5>
<h4 style="text-align:justify;"><span style="color:rgb(186,55,42);"><strong>Preservation and growth of ancient Indian language; Sanskrit </strong></span></h4>
<h5 style="text-align:justify;">In a meeting of CABE on National Education Policy 1986, it was concluded that our country's language, Sanskrit , has contributed to the growth and development of the global languages and for the protection of this Indian language a Sanskrit education board is most needed. In Allopathic method of treatment of the world it is conceded that Maharshi Sushrut was the father of surgery. All his books on treatment of diseases are in Sanskrit language. In the highly rated education institute Harvard School of Medicine has accepted Yoga as a supplementary method of treatment of diseases. Yogdarshan written by Maharshi Patanjali, Maharshi Sushrut's Shalya Chikitsa (surgery), Maharshi Charak's knowledge of Ayurveda, etc., are the great sources of science and knowledge which are free from any harm to humans and their description is  available in abundance in Sanskrit scriptures. Composite research on the work of these great scholars of ancient times is the need of the hour.</h5>
<h5 style="text-align:justify;">For all round development of students yoga needs to be included as part of the curriculum : Yoga is a part of Indian Vedic tradition of Knowledge and it provides happiness and harmony in life. Given the scientific benefits of Yoga initiatives are being taken across the world to include Yoga as an inseparable part of education. Therefore there is a need for such a system of education which could incorporate the entire thoughts of yoga in life style. By including the functional and philosophical aspects of yoga in curriculum it can be possible to build a healthy and prosperous citizen who is physically, mentally and spiritually healthy.</h5>
<h4 style="text-align:justify;"><span style="color:rgb(186,55,42);"><strong>Communal harmony and love</strong></span></h4>
<h5 style="text-align:justify;">The need for a new curriculum based system of education is being felt to remove growing envy in the present situation, it is possible to include the fundamental and comprehensive truth and best teachings of all the prominent religions to promote communal harmony and love and by including the messages of Global fraternity or Vishwabandhutva and Sarve Bhawantu Sukhinah (May everyone be prosperous) for building an inclusive society.</h5>
<h4 style="text-align:justify;"><span style="color:rgb(186,55,42);"><strong>Education based on moral education and national conscience</strong></span></h4>
<h5 style="text-align:justify;">Moral education, the tradition of sages, promotion of Sanskrit based education and with the blend of Vedic and modern education the growth of national consciousness can be ensured. By remembering the contributions of our ancestors the citizens of the country could feel proud of them. Such a curriculum has to be included which would be indigenous and promote self respect of the students so that it becomes an inseparable part of their life style. </h5>
<h4 style="text-align:justify;"><span style="color:rgb(186,55,42);"><strong>Making of world citizens</strong></span></h4>
<h5 style="text-align:justify;">A need for such a system of education is being acutely felt where the inclusion of Vedic education and the blend of comprehensive inclusion of scientific, secular and modern education could help build such citizens who do not destroy nature and the environment in blind pursuit of material development. Citizens who are self- restrained and disciplined and being obliged to the principle of co-existence and endeavour with the sense of discharging their moral duty and could prove their rise and salvation. The need of such a system of education is being felt in which every student must get a chance to learn three vernacular and three foreign languages so that he or she could develop a sense of cooperation and goodwill with the citizens of the rest of the world and could give orientation to the global policies and global science for the welfare of the world.</h5>
<h4 style="text-align:justify;"><span style="color:rgb(186,55,42);"><strong>Awakening of infinite knowledge and strength</strong></span></h4>
<h5 style="text-align:justify;">There is a need for such an education system based on science and research that could help in arousing the infinite knowledge, energy and strength latent in every person. Besides humans could also enter the areas of infinite knowledge and bliss and could have association with  extreme human consciousness. By getting free from entire human weaknesses they could associate with a divine way of life which means  that a completely conscious and fully capable human could be built. Such kind of farsightedness is not indicated in any form of present day's systems of education , therefore a need for a new and a comprehensive system of education was being severely felt. With the comprehensive education the overall development of humans is possible. For a strong, capable nation , healthy citizens with great character, capacity and ablility is a must. For building a capable human there are two mediums - one is home and second is school. This means practical, value based, functional education and Sanskar or good habits.  Knowledge based all round education ensures overall development of an individual and builds a well behaving world citizen for the country , world and the universe.This transforms a common human being into a divine human being. But at present in the glare of material prosperity unstable and dissatisfied humans are normally found around us and education is its basic reason.</h5>
<h5 style="text-align:justify;">Complete education means that field of knowledge which ensures knowledge based, emotional and functional development. And by developing the art of good behaviour with love , art of leading a life style according to the rules of nature and environment, this builds a responsible, humble, simple , scientific persons, full of good human qualities, living the values of world fraternity. </h5>
<h5 style="text-align:justify;">This type of comprehensive system of education is the biggest need of the time as well as for the people of India. Patanjali Yogpeeth has continuously been doing research for the last 25 years on this type of comprehensive education, knowledge, and material, human and spiritual aspects of knowledge in which the tradition of sage and teacher is being revived. Patanjali has been running five Gurukuls at present which are completely dedicated to promoting the ancient tradition of the knowledge of sages. Similarly, Ayurveda Medical College and University are being run on the basis of modern standards of modern education. For the last six years one such school is also being run where modern and Vedic education are being blended to ensure all round development of the students. This experiment has been very successful and today four more schools have also been launched on this pattern. Now its continuity is on the rise in society. At the university called Acharyakulam, Vedic and Western education have been blended to educate students and the students of the institute have secured 90 to 99 percent marks until now which is a kind of revolution in itself.<br />From the above mentioned three types of systems of education and with the experiences gained, and continuous scientific researches a conclusion has been drawn that with qualitative changes in the field of education and also with a sacred environment a gradual growth of human mind is possible and various types of capabilities and powers can be aroused in humans. Given the feeling of Patanjali's contribution in the field of education and its experiences Patanjali Yogpeeth has been assigned with the duty to set up and conduct Indian Board of Education. This board is led by respected Yoga Guru Swami Ramdev Ji Maharaaj as its chairperson. This society called Education Board will also work with the blessings of respected Morari Bapu who is in the role of its patron and apart from myself, National personalities like Swami Govind Giri Ji, Mr. Poonam Suri Ji, Justice Giridhar Malviya, Mr. Mahaveer Agarwal, Swami Mukta Nand Ji will guide this education board.</h5>
<h5 style="text-align:justify;">It is to be noted that before the approval of the centre this comprehensive proposal was presented before the Prime Minister, Narendra Modi, Mr. Amit Shah Ji, Mr. Prakash Javdekar, Union Human Research and Development Minister. This could be possible after 2-3 long years of contemplations, meetings and continuous efforts. For this Patanjali Yoga expresses its gratitude towards respected Prime Minister and Union government.</h5>
<h4 style="text-align:justify;"><span style="color:rgb(186,55,42);"><strong>Main purposes of Indian Education Board</strong></span></h4>

<h5>To bring qualitative changes in the level of elementary and secondary school education. The tradition of sages and their knowledges, spiritualism, philosophy, science based values, principles are to be included apart from modern education and to promote scientific thinking and logical tendency. Divine and great humans are to be built on the basis of good values and human and moral values to make responsible world citizens.</h5>

<h5>By means of comprehensive, scientific ,secular and welfare based coordination such people are to be built who are self- restrained, disciplined, well mannered, believe in co- existence and have a sense of duty and by doing complete dedication should be making full efforts so that their beginning and salvation could be ensured.</h5>
</li>
<li style="text-align:justify;">
<h5>Building such a system of education in which there are happy people. With this system of education a justified growth, justified utilization, justified share and justified exploitation will be possible. </h5>
</li>
<li style="text-align:justify;">
<h5>Such a system is to be built with which internal energy of a human could be aroused and proper development of internal power in the field of knowledge, happiness and greatest human power could be aroused and humans could enter into the field of bliss and knowledge.</h5>
</li>
<li style="text-align:justify;">
<h5>The entire existence must be viewed with the outlook of justice by keeping faith in spiritual justice. </h5>
</li>
<li style="text-align:justify;">
<h5>Such humans are to be built who are free from entire human weaknesses, greedy demands, free from desires and arrogance , such reality based knowledge based divine life must be part of their character. Such humans are to be built. If this happens ominous things will vanish. <h5>Starting from childhood till the age children turn into  youth, such thoughts and values are to be instilled in them so that they can do well in their subjects of interest like art, management, computing, medical and non-medical, engineering, computer, science based on modern technology, mathematics, etc.  They will also have a sound knowledge of ancient languages like Sanskrit, and subjects like Indian culture, moral values, high standards, besides Vedas, Upanishads, Geeta, philosophy, etc. the national language, Hindi, and other regional languages apart from English and other global languages. </h5>

<h4 style="text-align:justify;"><span style="color:rgb(186,55,42);"><strong>Special features of the syllabus:</strong></span></h4>

<h5>In the syllabus of this board, there will be a blend of education system of sages like that of Maharshi Dayanand Saraswati, fundamental education suggested by Mahatma Gandhi for generation of employment and indigenous based fundamental education and Sri Arvind's system of education to build divine humans and also the education of Swami Vivekanand based on enthusiasm, bravery, endeavour, Vedanta, etc., and modern education as well.</h5>
</li>
<li style="text-align:justify;">
<h5>By means of this system of education students will be taught to rise above regionalism, narrowness of language and communalism and in this way students willq feel proud of their nation, respect for all the religions and dedication for human values. </h5>
</li>
<li style="text-align:justify;">
<h5>Students will be made aware towards the values and duties described in the Constitution of India.</h5>
</li>
<li style="text-align:justify;">
<h5>Under this board there will be a special arrangement of learning and teaching of Indian culture (Vedas, Upanishad, Philosophy, Geeta, etc.).</h5>

<li style="text-align:justify;">
<h5>There will also be arrangement for teaching our ancient language Sanskrit, national language Hindi and other regional languages besides English and other world languages.</h5>
</li>
<li style="text-align:justify;">
<h5>With the syllabus of Indian Board of Education, Dharma, memory, talent, endeavour, bravery, dedication and truth like quality will be developed which are no less than divine resources and in this way these students will be able to provide great leadership to other countries, to society and to the world as they will have a divine personality.</h5>

<h5>This will also give birth to thoughts based on logic, science and innovation among these students.</h5>
</li>

<h5>By making the students capable of speaking three to four languages it will develop in them the capability of generating new employment opportunities and accordingly they will also grow skill as per employment opportunities.</h5>

<h5 style="text-align:justify;">It is not that efforts were not made to change this system  of education in the past. Many committees were set up and some of them were - Radhakrishnan Commission (1948-49), Kothari Commission (1964-66), National Education Policy- 1986 and Rammurty Committee 1990, etc. all of which stressed on the need for value based over all system of education. A little bit of change did take place but for our Indian culture, our ancient divine language Sanskrit, National language Hindi, and besides other regional languages and English, a need for indigenous board of education was recognized by the human resource development ministry. A need was felt for related intellectual education; a vocational course to be implemented that could modern as well ancient sage education and culture in students that could promote world fraternity and the values of co-existence. At present when the world has become a global village, the quality of education has become a big issue. Therefore the present Indian Board Of Education is being viewed as a wholesome system of education that could fulfill the need of the time. In this system of education, apart from the modern arrangement of education science, fundamental vedic education, yoga based health oriented science and Indian value and tradition based moral and high character based education will also be  imparted. With this kind of quality based system of education development of cultural values, character and moral value based life style, yoga based life style and good health based life style , etc. could be ensured in the coming years and in a few years Indian traditions and Indianess will become an inseparable part of our life.</h5>

<h5 style="text-align:justify;">The tradition of the knowledge of sages in India is very old and famous since ancient time. India is the country of the culture of sages and today it is again surging as the greatest spiritual power of the world. By taking up the responsibility of flag holder of Indian culture, Patanjali Yogpeeth is committed to establish Ramrajya in the whole world. With this purpose on the auspicious occasion of Ramnavami the festival was held as the 25th Sanyas Day 'Sanyas Diksha and Ramnavmi Mahotsava'. On the sacred occasion of Ramnavmi Patanjali Gurukulam for the first time gave admission to students who are just two years old. This is a new beginning in the history of education.<br />On this occasion respected Swami Ji Maharaj said that the goal of Patanjali Gurukulam is to create great sages like Maharshi Atri, Gautam, Kanad, Vashishtha, Kashyap, Vishwamitra, etc. The boy and girl students of Patanjali Gurukulam will chant  Ashtadhyayi, Geeta, Yogdarshan and hymns of Vedas, this will ensure revisit of Vedic age. Here yoga, Veda and Vedic culture will have their influence on the conscience of the children. Swami Ji said that the students of Patanjali Gurukulam will be efficiently taught 3-4 languages of the other countries of the world. Students in the age group - 5-7 years will have learned all the scriptures. They will be taught to do divine Vratabhyas. The students of Patanjali Gurukulam will also be made skilled in a divine manner. They will not be a part of the crowd but they will be in the role of the leaders of the country. The abilities of these students will be reviewed in every three months.</h5>
<h5 style="text-align:justify;"><img src="https://www.patanjaliyogsandesh.com/media/2023-06/228.jpg" alt="22"></img><br />The whole world will see that how the country  is being changed. Vedic era will again be revived in India. Swami Ji Maharaj vowed that how great are the challenges and obstacles, we will ensure the return of Rule of Lord Ram in India and the world.<br />On this occasion, at Yogbhawan of Patanjali Yogpeeth Yoth Nepal Camp was also started in which the participants of the camp experienced yoga and Ramrajya through Ramcharit Manas of Goswami Tulsi Das. Addressing the participants of the camp, Swami Ji said that India and Nepal have a good relation since ancient time. Lord Sri Ram was born  in India and Mother Sita was born in Nepal. Addressing the camp, Yoga Guru Swami Ram Dev Ji said that by the means of our endeavour we should build such a life, nation, society and the world which is free from all sorts of Adhibhautik, Adhidaivik, spiritual pain and agony and poverty. He said that it was a sacred day of Ramnavami but only greetings of Ramnavami will not be sufficient adding that the government will be able to ensure but it is the disciple of Yoga that will bring Ramrajya (the rule of Lord Ram). He further said that our life and character should be as sacred as Maryadapurushottam Lord Ram, Yogeshwar Srikrishna and our great sages who had divine wealth.<br />Speaking at the function Acharya Balkrishna Ji Maharaj said that the job of extension of Yoga, Veda , culture and spiritualism across the world is being undertaken by Patanjali Yogpeeth. He added that to go ahead in life one needs endeavour and inspiration. Last year in the guidance of respected Swami Ji those who have taken the Sanyas Diksha and joined the life of a sage, they have been engaged in many great activities. Establishment of four Gurukuls in just one year, many  branches of Acharyakulam and setting up of many educational institutes have been a great achievement. Patanjali is synonym of action and endeavour. Only those can stay here who has stamina to do uncompromising hard work and has enthusiasm to dedicate himself in the service to the nation. Assuring the fellow countrymen Acharya Ji said that the work of protecting the nation and its culture is being undertaken in the guidance of Swami Ji Maharaj and this will definitely yield an affirmative result. Acharya Ji also said that parents of minors had come there for their kids with a great feeling, dedication and dream, who deserve heaps of praises.<br />Acharya Ji said that though there were many camps organized at Patanjali in which people of Nepal participated but it was first effort when around 800 well educated men and women of Nepal between 20-35 age group will stay at Patanjali for one month. These men and women with their intellectual, physical, spiritual and spiritual prosperity visiting Patanjali to spread the teachings of Vedas , Yoga and culture in Nepal. Addressing the participants of the camp Acharya JI said that they should keep the tradition of sages and Guru in their heart every moment move ahead to build their own lives and the nation. He said that in this modern era to protect the basic foundation of the Indian culture, a great step was taken by Maharshi Dayanand Saraswati and this can be taken forward by someone who is a disciple of Maharshi Dayanand. This is being done by the means of Patanjali Yogpeeth. Acharya Ji said that life is built , it attains prosperity and decline , etc. are only results of thoughts. Our thoughts are born out of auspicious and ominous resolves and where ever is our prosperity and the elements of auspicious they are in fact the result of our good resolves. He said that we have two paths in life, and always follow the path that is difficult. If Chanakya had not worked hard , India would not have got a brave worrier like Chandragupta. One who never looks towards easy and comfortable means, no difficulty can disturb him. We should take this kind  of pledge.If  you want to become one among crores then your thoughts must be different from crores of others.<br />On this occasion respected Gurudev Pradyumna Ji Maharaj said that there must be some kind of support in one's life. A disciple must dedicate himself in the feet of a guru.  Gurudev said that our life our must bloom like flowers , for which we need to have dedication. It must be in the mind of a student that he did not need to make any separate plan, he suggested that one should follow the guidance of his mentor. <br />In the programme the students of Vedicgurukulam and Vedic Kanya Gurukulam's new students were taught how to perform Yagya and learn celibacy. Besides their Vedarambha and their Upanayan Sanskar were also performed. Besides formal Yagya performance and amid the chanting of Vedic hymns, they were given cloths, Veda and the scriptures, Danta (a stick), Mekhala, Yagyopavit (a sacred thread), etc.<br />In the guidance of respected Swami Ji Maharaj and respected Acharya Balkrishna Ji Maharaj the drive being run to revive the tradition of India's ancient sages in which Danveer Mr. JM Mehta Ji and his wife Mrs. Kanta Mehta Ji donated Rs. 1 crore 80 lakhs and this way graced the great tradition of giving donations. On this occasion, respected Swami Ji Maharaj expressed his gratitude to Mr. Mehta from core of his heart.                 <title>Indian Education Board:  Needs and its objectives Development of intellectual conscience by Indian Education Board and building of divine brain programming of divine world citizen </title>

He had aimed at preparing such people whose blood and organs will be Indian but at the same time their thoughts and aptitude will look English. They will work as interpreters between the rulers and citizens'. After declaring it, Macaulay wrote a letter to his father-- I believe that if our education system is implemented, there will be no idol worshipper in standard family of Bengal after 30 years. There will be no need of interference in religious freedom. <br />From William Vilchar Force to many Britishers launched an agitation in England from 1780 that the setting up of British empire aimed at not only earning money but expanding Christian religion. <br />Many British officers including Macaulay were of the view that until we set up Christian religion in India, we cannot stay in India. Therefore, the only one way to change Hindus into Christians is to implement English education system in the country. Judiciary, revenue, governance and economy of any country is based on the education system. If we change the education system, the functioning of all these gets changed. The Britishers were of the view that 'it was education which could change the human being'. We should decide the lifestyle, family, national economy, social and political structure of people before selecting an education system. </h5>
<h5 style="text-align:justify;">Due to Macaulay's education system, India's the 200 crore years old Indian spiritual culture got affected by western materialistic culture. It affected the mindset of modern youths of India.</h5>
<h5 style="text-align:justify;">In the present education system, the ideals, theories and ideologies of west are being glorified. Macaulay's wrong education system crippled not only political but also social, economical, religious and cultural fabric of India. However, the English education system was one of the reasons behind our obtaining freedom but at the same time, social, economical, religious and cultural thoughts got adversely affected. </h5>
<h5 style="text-align:justify;">Macaulay's education system has changed the brain programming of Indian youth to such an extent that they started to glorify western culture, atheism, pseudo secularism, unscientific development, unnatural sex, disrespect of India's greatness. It pollutes the minds of Indian youths who started to believe in the gospel 'earn, eat and enjoy'. </h5>
<h5 style="text-align:justify;">In the current education system, when the children of 3-4 years of age enter the play school, they are brainwashed with western thoughts. They are turned into consumers so that their inner conscience is filled with falseness, greed, violence, hatred, jealous, hate, sex, non-vegetarianism, porn, illegal, atheism instead of truth, non-violence, tapa, sacrifice, service, yoga, spiritualism, love, purity, celibacy, satisfaction and peace. </h5>
<h4 style="text-align:justify;"><span style="color:rgb(224,62,45);"><strong>Ideological effect of education system</strong></span></h4>
<h5 style="text-align:justify;">If we talk about brain programming, Osama Bin Laden inflicted pain to the entire world despite having higher education in Civil Engineering. Similarly, Afzal Guru, who was hanged, was a university professor. </h5>
<h5 style="text-align:justify;">If we find out the causes behind these incidents, we see that Osama's brain was instilled with hatred and radical thoughts. The modern education makes us literate, while Indian Vedic tradition or rishi tradition makes us good persons. Maharshi Dayanand says-- the education aims at instilling a sense of enlightenment in the human being. Similarly, Maharshi Arvind says that the human being can get enlightened by developing his inner conscience through the Indian education system and yoga. </h5>
<h5 style="text-align:justify;">According to Maharshi Arvind, the education helps people get enlightened.  Maharshi Dayanand was not satisfied with the current education system. He said that information can't be the foundation of intelligence. Maharshi Arvind was in favour of Indian gurukuliya tradition in which the teacher plays the role of friend of his students. The teacher boosts the moral development of the students. </h5>
<h5 style="text-align:justify;">Factual details of education, literary and gurukuliya system of ancient India. During the second Round Table Conference at London on October 20, 1931, Gandhiji alleged that the British Raj demolished the Indian education system and the Indians became illiterate after 100  years of British rule. Many Britishers opposed Gandhiji's statement. Gandhiji presented old evidences and data. On the basis of a survey of the  documents of various representatives of British, he proved that the population of Madras Presidency was 1, 28, 50, 000. There were 12, 498 gurukul where around 1, 88, 000 students were getting education. If we compare British education system with Indian education system, we find that the educational condition of India was three times better than that of England. There was not much difference in the population both India and Britain at that time. The number of British students was around 75, 000 out of which most of them go to the schools for attending Bible class for 2-3 hours on Sunday. It proves that Indians were three times more educated than the Britishers. </h5>
<h4 style="text-align:justify;"><span style="color:rgb(224,62,45);"><strong>World famous education centre in ancient India</strong></span></h4>
<h5 style="text-align:justify;">World's first university Takshashila was set up  in India around 2800 years ago. Nalanda University was established in the 4th century BC. Apart from that, the residues of Vikramshila University, Vallabhi University, Udantpuri University, Sompura, Pushpagiri University are the evidence of world famous education centres. </h5>
<h4 style="text-align:justify;"><span style="color:rgb(224,62,45);"><strong>Beginning of transformation movement against Macaulay's education system</strong></span></h4>
<h5 style="text-align:justify;">The repercussions of English education system emerged in 18th century. Ravindra Nath Thakur's father Devendranath Thakur, Yogi Arvind's maternal grand father Rajnarayan Ghosh, Bankim Chandra Chaterjee, Maharshi Dayanand Saraswati, Swami Vivekanand, Bhagini Nivedita, Anne Besent, Ravindranath Thakur, Sri Arvind, Swami Shradhanand, Lala Hardayal, Mahatma Gandhi had declared this foreign education system worthless. </h5>
<h5 style="text-align:justify;">In order to check the repercussions of the British education system, Ravindranath Tagore's father Devendranath Thakur had set up a school in 1845 providing free education to the children through Tatvabodhi sabha. Rajnarayan Jee also reviewed the repercussions of English education system and initiated the first step of national renaissance through 'society for the promotion of national feeling among the educated natives of Bengal </h5>
<h5 style="text-align:justify;">'Students literary and scientific society and 'Dakkan Education Society' were set up in 1848 for intellectual and moral development. GV Joshi, Mahadev Govind Ranade, Vasudeo Balvant Pharke, Bishnu Shastri Chiplunkar, Bal Gangadhar Tilak and Gopal Ganesh Agarkar participated in this movement. </h5>
<h5 style="text-align:justify;"><span style="color:rgb(224,62,45);"><strong>Bankim Chandra Chaterjee in 1872</strong></span></h5>
<h5 style="text-align:justify;">Bankim Chandra Chaterjee started to edit 'Bangdarshan' magazine against the western impact on the Bengali society. </h5>
<h4 style="text-align:justify;"><span style="color:rgb(224,62,45);"><strong>Maharshi Swami Dayanand Jee's gurukuliya education in 1874</strong></span></h4>
<h5 style="text-align:justify;">Swami Jee set up Arya Samaj in 1874. However, he had already set up Vedic gurukuls at Kashganj, Jalesar, Farukhabad, Mirjapur and Kashi of Uttar Pradesh.</h5>
<h5 style="text-align:justify;">Swami Vivekanand in 1893 was of the view that the education is the bunch of information which is instilled in the mind. We must experience those thoughts which are helpful in development of life and human being and character. He hoisted the flag of greatness of Indian culture at Chicago conference in US. </h5>
<h5 style="text-align:justify;">He also drew the countrymen's attention towards demerits of western knowledge and education system. Swami Vivekanand focused on the need of national education system instead of English education system. All the sanyasis of Ramkrishna Mission including Bhagini Nivedita started various experiments in the direction of national education.</h5>
<h5 style="text-align:justify;">When thousands of students joined the Banga Bhanga movement in 1905, then Britishers ordered the college principals to suspend them. The British order boomeranged. </h5>
<h5 style="text-align:justify;">Ravindranath Thakur led a meeting to discuss alternative education in 1905. In the same year, Rangapur national school was started with 300 students. Nationalists convened an education meeting where it was decided to constitute a 'national education council'.</h5>
<h4 style="text-align:justify;"><span style="color:rgb(224,62,45);"><strong>Concept of Ravindranath Thakur's education</strong></span></h4>
<h5 style="text-align:justify;">He believed in providing education through the mother tongue. He set up four educational institutions. He set up 'Shanti Niketan' school in 1901, 'Sri Niketan', Siksha Satra'. Later, he established 'Vishwa Bharati'.</h5>
<h5 style="text-align:justify;">In 1906, Sri Arvind constituted casteist (national) education council comprising 92 members. He inaugurated National College and Bengal National College and School.  </h5>
<h4 style="text-align:justify;"><span style="color:rgb(224,62,45);"><strong>Efforts of Lokmanya Tilak and Lala Lajpat Rai on education</strong></span></h4>
<h5 style="text-align:justify;">Lokmanya was instrumental in setting up 'National School' at Amravati and Pune in Maharashtra. Lahore became the national education hub under the guidance of Lala Lajpat Rai. Lal, Bal and Pal were the torchbearers of indigenous movement. Bipinchandra Pal set up 'National Council of Education of Bengal' (National Education Council of Bengal). Later, schools were established at Rangapur, Dinajpur, Dhaka, Komilla, Jalpaiguri and Kolkata.</h5>
<h5 style="text-align:justify;">However, the movement fell flat as Sri Arvind Jee, Lokmanya Tilak, Bipinchandra Pal were lodged in jail. The Britishers suppressed the agitators.</h5>
<h4 style="text-align:justify;"><span style="color:rgb(224,62,45);"><strong>Educational movement by Dayanand Anglo Vedic institution in 1883</strong></span></h4>
<h5 style="text-align:justify;">Lala Lajpat Rai, Mahatma Hansraj, Mahatma Munshiram, Lala Railaram and Pandit Gurudatta Jee decided to set up Dayanand Anglo Vedic College to counter the repercussions of English education. Later, they started to set up many DAV schools in the country.</h5>
<h5 style="text-align:justify;">Swami Shradhanand Jee's educational gurukuliya experiment at Gurukul Kangri-  Mahatma Munshiram and his associates separated from DAV society and set up Gurukul Kangri at Haridwar in 1902 to boost gurukulia education based on Indian rishi tradition. Later, gurukuls were set up at Multan (1909), Kurukshetra (1911), Gurukul Indraprashtha (1912), Bhatinda, Bhainswal, Saurashtra (Gujarat), etc.</h5>
<h5 style="text-align:justify;">During 'non cooperation movement' in 1920, the Mahatma Gandhi-led Congress appealed to the countrymen to boycott government educational institutions and set up national schools. National education institutions were set up in all the districts in Maharashtra. Tilak Maharashtra Vidyapeeth was set up as National University in 1921. Bihar Vidyapeeth, Kashi Vidyapeeth, Gujarat Vidyapeeth were set up in Bihar, Uttar Pradesh and Gujarat respectively. Mahatma Gandhi was of the view that -- 'whether we get freedom today or tomorrow, but it will be unstable without education'.</h5>
<h4 style="text-align:justify;"><span style="color:rgb(224,62,45);"><strong>Banaras Hindu University in 1916</strong></span></h4>
<h5 style="text-align:justify;">Mahamana Madan Mohan Malviya, who was the torchbearer of education of  Sanskrit and culture, religion and policy, set up Banaras Hindu University in 1916 in Uttar Pradesh to provide national leadership in the country.</h5>
<h4 style="text-align:justify;"><span style="color:rgb(224,62,45);"><strong>Kashi Vidyapeeth in 1920</strong></span></h4>
<h5 style="text-align:justify;">Babu Shiv Prasad Gupta and Babu Bhagwan Das Jee set up Kashi Vidyapeeth in 1921 with cooperation from Mahatma Gandhi, Pandit Moti Lal Nehru, Maulana Abul Kalam Azad, Seth Jamnalal Bajaj. Kashi Vidyapeeth played an important role in the freedom struggle. The Britishers banned the Vidyapeeth. </h5>
<h4 style="text-align:justify;"><span style="color:rgb(224,62,45);"><strong>Educational experiment of Sri Maa in Puduchhery in 1952</strong></span></h4>
<h5 style="text-align:justify;">Sri Arvind's theory is that 'the education can't be imparted, the children themselves get education'. On this basis, he started various education experiments for the transformation of human being without any syllabus and examination.</h5>
<h4 style="text-align:justify;"><span style="color:rgb(224,62,45);"><strong>Gandhiji's education experiment through basic education</strong></span></h4>
<h5 style="text-align:justify;">Gandhiji set up schools at many places like Vardha, West Champaran, Sabarmati Ashram, Delhi and conducted many educational experiments on basic education, and fundamental education. His spiritual successor Vinoba Bhave played a major role in this movement. Later, the movement fell flat due to British suppression. </h5>
<h4 style="text-align:justify;"><span style="color:rgb(224,62,45);"><strong>Results of educational movements</strong></span></h4>
<h5 style="text-align:justify;">The great personalities focused on the education pre and post freedom. They tried hard to replace Macaulay's education system. But their efforts went in vain. All these movements became common schools and universities at the levels of syllabus, education system, teacher-student relation, educational atmosphere, speeches of teachers and students, behaviour and character.</h5>
<h5 style="text-align:justify;">Commitment of educational revolution by Patanjali through Indian education board<br />In order to realise the dream of total freedom of martyrs and revolutionaries, Maharshi Patanjali and Charak, Sushrut and Dhanvantari's son yogarishi shradheya Swami Jee Maharaj and Ayurveda great Shradheya Acharya Balkrishna Jee Maharaj are committed to make an educational revolution. Earlier, they had already started yoga revolution, ayurveda and indigenous revolution, regime change revolution for corruption free governance. Through Indian education board, every child will be made a divine world citizen to make India a world teacher. </h5>

                <title>Indigenous education Importance of tradition of knowledge and education</title>

Greek ambassador Megasthenes who stayed in India in 4th century BC and Xuanzang and I-Tsing of 7th and 8th century AD and Al-Biruni of the 10th century AD, all these travellers admitted that all Hindus means all Indians had passion for knowledge and education by nature. This fact has been proved by the descriptions of later European travellers and the survey reports of British scholars. Bartolomeu of Austrian origin after staying for 14 years in India wrote on the basis of his experience in 1789 that a well developed system of education and methods of writing had got evolved in India many years before 1st AD and he added that the system still existed in his time. Perhaps there is no other country in the world where ancient system and methods existed for such a long time as it happened in India. Another historian Brigadier General Alexander Walker was in the service of British East India Company between 1780 and 1810. He said that there is no other society in the world in which education gets as great an importance as in Hindu society. According to him they (Hindus) can sacrifice their everything including their wealth, prestige and caste arrogance to ensure best quality of education for their children. <br />Madrass collector Mr. LGK Mare in his report wrote that all Hindu children are traditionally sent to traditional schools by the time they turn five. Further it is mostly on their own mind to continue with higher studies. But normally it has to be admitted that before attaining thirteen years of education their performance and achievements in the field of education were quite impressive and praiseworthy. This was the specialities of Hindus.<br />Ludlow in British India writes that in every Hindu village which has maintained their sanctity, primary or elementary education facilities are available. There was not even a single child in any village who did not know reading, writing and simple addition and subtraction. Virtually they were very intelligent in mathematics.<br />World's first university Taxila was established 2800 years ago and Nalanda University was set up in 4th century AD. Besides, Vikramshila University, Vallabhi, Udantpuri University, Sompura University, Pushpagiri University, etc. were ancient universities and their ruins prove that India had a great system of education in ancient times.</h5><h5 style="text-align:justify;">Definition of education by a scholar<br />By explaining education in a comprehensive manner India's prominent thinker Kaka Saheb Kalekar in present context had said- I am not subservient to my rulers, also not a servant of the law, not the female friend of science, also not a care-taker of art and not even the servant of Economics. I am in fact devotee of the Dharma, master of human's wisdom, mysteries and sense organs. Human science and sociology are my two feet, art and artists are my two hands, science is my brain, Dharma is my heart, observation and logic are eyes, history is my ears, freedom is my breath, enthusiasm and industry are my lungs and patience is my duty and dedication is my consciousness.. </h5>]]></content:encoded>

<h5 style="text-align:justify;">First thinker of swaraj, torchbearer of national renaissance, leader of social revolution and founder of aryasamaj, Maharshi Dayanand Saraswati was a great personality of India. He was also a great educationist. Highlighting the importance of education, he described the education-study-teaching process in his third chapter of his immortal revolutionary scripture 'Satyarth prakash'.</h5>
<h5 style="text-align:justify;">According to Maharshi, those which increase education, civilisation, religiousness and decrease bad habits is said education (svamantavyamantavyaprakasha). He terms education as sysmbol coordination of philosophy, spritualism and scientific cultures. The education aims at developing and transforming human being's capacity. Through which, the capacity can be utilised as creative form.</h5>
<h5 style="text-align:justify;">The word education emanates from 'shiksha' dhatu. (Sanskrit Dhatukosh Page 120) which means acquiring knowledge. The word ultimate knowledge is used for education. The ultimate knowledge emanates from 'vid' dhatu which means that to know. Therefore the ultimate knowledge means knowledge. According to Ishopnishad, the ultimate knowledge means the entire knowledge. Therefore the ultimate knowledge means self realisation.</h5>
<h5 style="text-align:justify;">Education in view of great personalities<br />In many scriptures, Maharshi Dayanand has defined the education. In Vyavharbhanu, he writes that those through which the human being can be blissful by acquiring knowledge and renouncing all the bad habits.</h5>
<h5 style="text-align:justify;">'The education utilises the materials available on the earth. The illusion, darkness and ignorance are obstacles of the education. (Aryoddeshyaratnamala)</h5>
<h5 style="text-align:justify;">'The knowledge is the education. There are many illusions against ultimate knowledge but the education has no illusion. (Upadeshamanjari) The education is those through which work is done in proper way, while doing injustice is called ignorance. (Vyavharbhanu)</h5>
<h5 style="text-align:justify;">It becomes clear from the aforesaid definitions that there are two main factors. First- acquiring knowledge or augmenting knowledge and second- utilising the acquired knowledge for human being. Therefore, Maharshi Dayanand focused on acquiring  knowledge and the need of human merits like civilisation, religion, discipline and patience.<br />Maharshi Arvind also supported the thoughts of Maharshi Dayanand by saying that 'knowledge, bhakti and duty are the main elements of arya education. The education should aim at instilling knowledge, truth and discipline in the next generation. (Yogi Sriarvind)</h5>
<h5 style="text-align:justify;">According to Dr Radhakrishnan, the main cause of sorrow in the world is that the education is not related to moral and spiritual values. The education which ignores heart and soul can't be called ultimate education. </h5>
<h5 style="text-align:justify;">The great personalities of ancient scriptures and upanishads declared that the ignorance is the sin. The ignorance is more unfortunate than unemployment. Nobody can achieve the goal by ignoring cultural and intellectual life. The education is the first need for any development. It boosts self confidence in the human being. It brings success in the life.</h5>
<h5 style="text-align:justify;">'Vidyavihanah pashubhih samanah' human life is nothing but animal without education. Without education, human being can't attain knowledge of duty and develop internal and outer powers. Therefore, the education is the need for development of human being. The education beings a sense of righteousness in the human being. </h5>
<h5 style="text-align:center;"><strong><span style="color:rgb(224,62,45);">Vidya dadati vinayam, vinyaddati patratam I</span></strong><br /><strong><span style="color:rgb(224,62,45);">Patratvaddhyanamapnoti, dhanaddharmam tatah sukham II</span></strong></h5>
<h5 style="text-align:justify;">It means that the education brings discipline. Discipline beings eligibility, eligibility brings prosperity, prosperity brings religion, religion brings happiness. The great personalities have said that 'sa vidya ya vimuktaye' it means that the education frees from bondage. There was a time when our education was world famous. Manu has said-</h5>

<h5 style="text-align:justify;">India was considered as word teacher. National poet Maithilisharan Gupta had written about India's ancient education-</h5>

<h5 style="text-align:justify;">In ancient time, the students were taught at gurukul in the forests. The students used to practise brahmcharya till the age of 25 years. They used to acquire knowledge by serving their teachers. The teachers used to pay attention on the overall development of students in the serene atmosphere. The students would get opportunity of developing their talent. The students would return home after by gaining knowledge of science, medical, policy, war, veda and scriptures. They would become responsible citizens. In those days, India was considered as education hub in the entire world. Devavani Sanskrit was the mother tongue. Thousands of students would visit India to acquire knowledge. Takshashila and Nalanda were the famous education hub. There was a famous slogan. 'Knowledge is the third eye of the human being. In those time, the education didn't mean the source of earning money. Today, the main obstacle of education is that it's not according to our atmosphere. The education must play a major role in reconstruction of society. It lacks self confidence. It contains superstition, casteism, communalism and regionalism. Even after 75 years of independence, our education system is still worthless. National poet Maithilisharan Gupta has opined about education-</h5>

<h4 style="text-align:justify;"><span style="color:rgb(224,62,45);"><strong>Macaulay had said in the British Parliament</strong></span></h4>
<h5 style="text-align:justify;">I believe that this education plan will make an educated class whose colour and blood will be Indian, while their thought, aptitude and speech will be 'English'.  Macaulay 's education policy has polluted India education system. The students go to abroad for earning money. Why is the country unable to produce talent like Hargovind Khurana? The education has neither ancient touch nor modern revolution. It has neither ancient glory nor research oriented present. It has neither respect and prayer of Ramakrishna, Dayanand, Shradhanand and Vivekanand nor the power of Newton and Einstein. The education will be worthless if it fails to make incapable into capable, sorrow into happiness, unemployed into employed, lazy into laborious. The education must eradicate unemployment. Unfortunately, it failed to check it. It's true that under the 86th constitutional amendment act 2002, part-3 of Act 21 A provides that the children of age group 6-14 years will be given free and essential education. In 2009, the the Parliament passed the legislation to make it effective. The law was implemented on April 1 , 2010. By implementing it, India entered into the club of 135 countries providing education as fundamental right.</h5>
<h4 style="text-align:justify;"><span style="color:rgb(224,62,45);"><strong>Demerits of present education system</strong></span></h4>
<h5 style="text-align:justify;">The first demerit of present education system is that it's inactive and mechanical. The second demerit is that it's only theoretical. The third one is that it lacks moral and cultural values. The fourth demerit is that there is no physical training in the current education system. The fifth demerit is that it's costly. The sixth one is that it's nothing but a source of entertainment for the students. The seventh demerit is that the current education system lacks earning money capacity. Apart from that, it promotes no creativity. Sheltering incompetent persons is main obstacle in university education. Today, university turned the hub of bad elements. Even the college teachers are transferred and promoted on the political backing. The students indulge in homework and exam preparation. They fail to recite rhyme of Kabir and Sur and understand Wordsworth. </h5>
<h5 style="text-align:justify;">In the present context, the parents ignore the children's interest in the study. They want to make their children only doctors and engineers. On many occasions, they commit suicide.</h5>
<h5 style="text-align:justify;">The government education policy focusing on making the people only literate instead of educated. The present education system makes us mechanical. </h5>
<h5 style="text-align:justify;">It's matter of happiness that Indian software professionals are famous as global brand. They are considered as reliable and high level service providers in the field of IT. They can prove to be catalyst in India realising dream of super power. But unfortunately, after 70 years of independence, our education system is still ancient. However, many commissions were formed to make change in the education system which produces clerks. The students must be taught how to control mind. After which they can accumulate required facts. The students take lot of time to understand because they fail to concentrate. The  education must play a major role in personality building as well as intellectual and spiritual development. The education must bring creativity, intellectual agility and capacity of being good citizen. It must give prominence to the moral values. The students must be instilled a sense of scientific approach so that they can play a pivotal role in development of the country. We have a cultural heritage  unlike countries like France, US and Japan. We have to preserve it. There is a need of students having values like discipline, culture and laborious for development and prosperity of the country. </h5>
<h5 style="text-align:justify;">The question is that what is the mutual relation between success and failure in the human life. Whether the success has relevance. Apart from success, the students must have talent. This dialogue of film 'Three Idiots' defines it. Everybody tries to get success in life. But at the same time, there are a very few persons who are competent enough to get success by getting adapted in the present atmosphere. There is no short cut to the success. Doctors and engineers get Rs 12-15 lakh annual package. Somebody calls it success, while somebody terms helping others as success. As the education frees us from bondage, similarly the success gives satisfaction. The human being aims not only at materialistic develop but also moral and spiritual development. There are many examples where successful people are not satisfied. The education must aim at materialistic prosperity as well as satisfaction. As the root plays important role in development of tree, similarly moral education is essential for development of human being. </h5>
<h4 style="text-align:justify;"><span style="color:rgb(224,62,45);"><strong>Importance of self language</strong></span></h4>
<h5 style="text-align:justify;">Strangely, we hesitate in speaking our own language. Until our students understand 'bin nij bhasha gyan ke, mitai na hiya ko sul', how will they understand our country? The mother tongue will help children grasp easily. </h5>
<h5 style="text-align:justify;">It's true that English plays important role in country's development. The policy makers can't deny English's role. But we have to ponder over that if the English as mother tongue will put obstacle in the children's development. English creates hurdle on the new talent. When will our policy makers understand this? Countries like Ireland, Israel, Denmark, Belgium, Australia, Hungry, Netherlands, Switzerland have got more number of Nobel prize than India. They promoted their mother tongue in the education system, while their population is equal to that of a district in the India.</h5>
<h5 style="text-align:justify;">We have to implement universal education system so that education inequality can be eradicated. The government school and missionary school are pole apart. The difference can be called India and Bharat. Local, regional and national knowledge can be accommodated in our syllabus. There should be a sense of Indianness among the citizen. We should not deny the history of past. We must understand that the sun of knowledge rises in the east and ray falls in premise on India. </h5>
<h5 style="text-align:justify;">The education must fulfil the need of employment. Plato had said 'the education plays important role in development of human life.</h5>
<h4 style="text-align:justify;"><span style="color:rgb(224,62,45);"><strong>Education is key to self reliant</strong></span></h4>
<h5 style="text-align:justify;">Employment oriented education can play important role in the economic, social and democratic development of the country. In order to link employment with education, the survey must be conducted to know the nature of employment in the country. The teachers, doctors, engineers and military must be in adequate number. First of all, we should find out the source of employment. Unfortunately, there is a lot undesired trainers, resulting in huge unemployment. In the present context, the syllabus of BA, BCom, BSc, MA, MSc fail to instil a sense of labour among the students.</h5>
<h5 style="text-align:justify;">If we have a look at the education system of the country, the question arises that is it making the students competent enough for leading a meaningful life? Has the education system eradicated the ignorance? Theodor Roosvelt says 'moral education must be imparted to the students'.</h5>
<h4 style="text-align:justify;"><span style="color:rgb(224,62,45);"><strong>Role of teachers</strong></span></h4>
<h5 style="text-align:justify;">What will be our views if the thoughts of children are different from that of ours. We must respect their views and thoughts. We must ponder over their suggestions. 21st century is the century of next generation. The teachers play an important role in shaping the life of students. It has been said that 'matriman pitriman acharyavan purusho vedah' the acharya plays important role in society building and nation building. The teacher lays foundation stone of a civilised society and nation building. The great teachers like Vashishtha, Vishvamitra, Bhardwaj, Valmiki, Dronacharya, Sandipini and Panini shaped the life of thousands of students. Teachers like Sucrates, Plato, Aristotle, Ruso, Walteyar, Dante  were the root cause of many social and national revolutions. Aristotle, Dronacharya, Ramkrishna Paramhans and Virjanand played important role in the life of Alexander  Arjuna, Vivekanand and Dayanand respectively. </h5>
<h5 style="text-align:justify;">It's true that the children give preference to the thoughts of their teachers in comparison to the parents. Therefore, the teachers must be more responsible in shaping the life the students. Every word of the teacher plays important role. They are aware of the activities which can keep them healthy and augment the knowledge. Frabel had said that the children is plant, the school is an garden and the teacher is gardener. As the gardener looks after plants, similarly the teacher rears the small children to make them ideal citizens. The book 'Thoughts of Maharshi Arvind' written by Maharshi Arvind says 'the teacher is the gardener of nation's culture, he looks after the refinement of children'. An Italian teacher has said that 'a teacher is like a candle which gets burned to provide light to others. There must be a continuity between teachers and the students. </h5>
<h5 style="text-align:justify;">In ancient time, the teachers were given due respect. The teacher is unique example of giving best in limited resources. The society must respect the teachers. </h5>
<h4 style="text-align:justify;"><span style="color:rgb(224,62,45);"><strong>The aims and objectives of the students</strong></span></h4>
<h5 style="text-align:justify;">As far as the students are concerned, they must focus on overall personality development apart from discipline and various knowledge. The student life is the base of entire human life. A scholar says that 'he country is build in the class'. The refinement imprinted in the mind of children is not wiped out. The good character help the people attain success in life. The school is the serene place where acquired knowledge remains with the students. Respect of teachers, better utilisation of time, faith in truth and god and intention of nation service can be assimilated in student life. Sanskrit literature describes five characteristics of ideal students-</h5>
<h5 style="text-align:center;"><strong><span style="color:rgb(224,62,45);">Kakcheshta bakadhyanam, shwannidra tathaiva cha I</span></strong><br /><strong><span style="color:rgb(224,62,45);">Alpahari grihtyagi vidyarthi-panchlakshanam II'</span></strong></h5>
<h5 style="text-align:justify;">It means that the ideal students must have merits like concentration like crow, meditation like crane, sleep like dog, taking light food and avoiding homesickness.</h5>

<h5 style="text-align:justify;">Those society and country where students have merits like patience and agile are safe. A small battalion of military is fully disciplined. Similarly, the students with qualities like moral, religious and scientific education can be matter of pride for the country. Every student must engage in extra curricular activities apart from study and other works. They must participate in the debates in the school and college level to hone their oratory skills on any subject. They must augment their knowledge and aware of latest development. Quiz contest also plays important role in the life of students. They must know the drawing, painting, handicraft. They should also participate in the sports. Life is also like sports. They must learn how to remain same while in success and failure. </h5>
<h5 style="text-align:justify;">They must understand that even a single rupee earned by them is valuable than Rs 100. It's better to remain failure instead of earning money through unfair means. The students must no be jealous with others' success. Take decision by listening inner conscience. Every student must have qualities like truth.</h5>
<h5 style="text-align:justify;">Hard work brings success and prosperity in the life. The lazy students remain in sorrow as they keep everything on destiny. A poet says-</h5>

<h5 style="text-align:justify;">The students must have clear aims and objectives in their life. It's true that the life becomes meaningful when it has aims. A sense of realising dream brings energy in the human life. The great poet Harivansh Rai Bachhan says that--<span style="color:rgb(224,62,45);">purva chalne ke batohi, bat kee pahchan kar le I</span></h5>
<h5 style="text-align:justify;">The right education is the need of the hour. It will pave the way of modernity. We must study for social welfare instead of vested interest. India is trying to play important role in world. It needs to reconstruct its old education system. The country is facing tough task in preparing new Indians in the society.</h5>
<h5 style="text-align:justify;">In this context, the education must eradicate darkness and illiteracy. It's clear that Shradheya Swami Ramdev Jee Maharaj and other scholars are doing tremendous job through acharyakulam where refinement is instilled in the minds of the students. </h5>]]></content:encoded>

                <title>Rising global meaningfulness of  Indian culture</title>

This in fact happens mainly due to one's inability of understanding their original forms. It is the foundation of the only culture of the world which agrees to recognize multiple paths to reach to the last truth, considers them appropriate and true, and inspires their followers to pursue them in proper manner. The vast experience of philosophy and practical pursuance India has got to  show path to today's world that is surrounded by violence, fear, trust deficit, war, insecurity, no other civilized country of the world has got. Therefore this moral responsibility has emerged as a challenge before itself to help the human civilization to get rid of this storm. The first step is to know oneself and be capable of discharging one's global responsibility. This is possible only when the people of India will be able to know India, recognize its strength and carry forward their duties by deciding the culture of Sarvebhutahite Ratah to their duties with full confidence. Main or I comes at the last in this culture and in it relations are not made on the basis of utility but are formed with dedication, respect and continuity, by considering that the life must be engaged in ideal goals of life. The unity of the entire humanity is the strength of this philosophy, which means all are a part of the absolute truth. The rise of Indian culture  which shows the path of Dharma or truth, its meaningfulness will remain eternal. This idea is again emerging. Now the time has come when Indians have got to discharge their historical responsibility. For this it is the responsibilities of Indians revive the thoughts of ancient India, its culture, its culture of coordination between the human and nature globally and it is also needed to prepare them for this. It is important to change the system of education accordingly.<br />In this second decade of 21st century, many problems have emerged in their most severe forms and they are waiting for solution. The form in which human culture grew it is being seriously questioned. Mahatma Gandhi in his legendary book Hindi Swaraj written in 1909 raised similar serious questions. He had called it a demonic culture. Actually it was expected that independent India will keep the the culture and civilization of the ancient sages and scholars and keep the vitality of its dynamism alive and present them in the present world as as a capable and practical alternative. It was also expected that while selecting the path of its growth and progress will utilize it. Though this has not happened however India's treasure of knowledge , mutuality of humans and the nature and a deep understanding of the relation of the universe and the spiritualism which has grown out of it and the supremacy was accepted by the world for thousands of years. There are still big expectations and hopes from India which are in the minds of the great scholars of the world who have a better understanding of India, and this can be understood from the words of Arnard Tyanbi- it is quite well understood that a chapter of which the beginning was western , if it has not to be destroyed then its end will be Indian.In this most dangerous moment of human race the only way that can ensure the freedom of the entire human race, it is just Indian. Great emperor Ashok  and Mahatma Gandhi showed the path of non-violence and Sri Ramkrishna Paramhans gave preachings of tolerance and these only can protect the world from getting destroyed. Here we have such a mindset and tendency which can help us to help the human race to live like a family. Today this is the way to prevent the atomic war (extract of all religions is, Nani Palkhiwala, Bharatiya Vidya Bhawan, Mumbai, 1993, P 19) this was written a few decades ago and present circumstances seem to be even worse than then. Humans have weapons which can destroy the earth many times, and this arsenal is expanding. The kind of violence, killing, bigotry, trust deficit, exploitation, blind exploitation of the nature, diseases, starvation, etc. are so dangerous that it has been unforeseen. On the other hand science and technology are presenting new alternatives with every passing days and this is bringing comforts and activeness in the lives of those who are affluent. Today's humans have such a vast skill, technology, resources and capability that every citizen of the world can lead a decent style of life, everyone can live with dignity such a huge resources can be made available. Everyone in the world can be brought out of the mire of poverty, starvation, malnutrition, diseases, etc. But this is not happening in fact. Its reason is that we have come close in one another's neighbourhood but we have forgotten the duty of being a good neighbour.</h5>
<h5 style="text-align:justify;">It is known to all that destroying the traditional form of education which existed even before independence, and imposing other form of education and promoting English in place of Hindi, this policy has been brought by foreign rulers  and has been so effective that it is growing further and further. Today India is considered to be the country which follows the culture of the other countries of the world . We have forgotten the values of our lives and have stayed away from our traditions and our religious duty has been forgotten in the name of promoting secularism. We are keeping ourselves away from our own Indian languages and we are also trying to keep our children also away from our languages and culture. Overall India after independence has worked harder and harder to destroy its cultural identity however India's cultural identity had been born out of the best Sanatan or ancient culture and was recognized in the world as an identity of India. Due to inherent selfish purposes the word called secularism was greatly misused in India and this happened only to keep Indians away from  their culture. Due to India's own intellect , talent and tendency its generations are being taken away from its culture in the name of secularism is very dangerous and its effects are coming forth. Many of our contemporary sages had predicted the future developments even before independence and Swami Vivekanand was pioneer among them. The soul of India's fundamental culture and its sacredness lie in its religious identity and their main purposes are to attain Sad-Chit-Anand (always blissful heart). And socialism born out of it not only presented the concept of hermit ruler but also gave it a live shape and leadership and by showing the path of cultural unity showed a new path to the world. The philosophy behind it seems to be so simple and easy but this stage can be attained with great effort. First control on oneself and then the control on others. The kind of thought which turns religion into service to humanity. Mahatma Gandhi understood it well and then he could say - My life is my message and this was possible to say with an Indian intellect that Chandragupta and Chanakya and Ashoka and Upagupta, Vikramaditya and Kalidas could come together and the idea of sage ruler could become a possibility. A sage means one who can forecast the future by the means of his intellect and foresightedness. Only he can show the path to a king and can inspire a king to remain disciplined in discharging his duties. Besides he also keeps an eye on his activities. Should every Indian youth not be aware of the character of Kind Janak or should he not understand the philosophy behind the term Videh, its need to maintain a relation between humans and the nature and his duty in maintaining this relation.</h5>
<h5 style="text-align:justify;">Here behind the success of every successful king his Guru, which the element of his intellect and spiritualism have been a pioneering element. Geeta is a great legacy of dialogue between a Guru and his disciple and it highlights every aspect of life and on the basis of the inherent philosophy in it the fundamental culture of India and its construction ties the country in an amazing unity. Here, diversity of all sorts are acceptable as everything from root to top is created by that ultimate truth and its presence is omnipresent. Therefore anything and everything cannot be rejected. Whatever the nature has given the humans for their survival equally belongs to all. In it the civilization that which includes all birds, animals and plants, give the regard of divinity, it cannot accept any sort of discrimination on the basis of its faith, ways of worshipping , rank in the society, etc. Such a civilization can generate-</h5>

<h5 style="text-align:justify;">This question is continuously being raised in the country that in the field of knowledge especially in research and innovation India has been making very little contribution with regard to its position in the world. Whatever attracts us in present world and that is used by all or wish to do, there is nothing that India has innovated in the last 50-100 years. Car, refrigerator, mobile, air conditioner, trains, air planes, rockets, etc. are some of the scientific innovations which give us pleasure on using them but our youth getting place in silicon valley and NASA is only solace for us and brought laurels for Indians. But is it sufficient for a country like India of which sages, scholars, scientists, teachers searched the secrets of the nature in that ancient era and their work was aimed at not just to increase their knowledge but to enhance the knowledge of entire humanity. They wanted a continuous growth in the understanding and knowledge of the people so that people could get a life based on human values. In this ancient tradition of generating knowledge many obstacles came and planned efforts were made by others to destroy them but its roots were so deep that kept waiting for their resurgence. During last seven decades this opportunity has again appeared before us. And to be benefited from it we have not yet prepared ourselves, in the glare of western culture we are drifting away from our own culture. Therefore it is very painful to say that those who had to take India forward in this direction they are themselves unaware of India's glorious past, were unaware of its importance and with political greed we could neither move ahead nor could we think ahead of it. It is the practicality of this ancient Indian civilization, culture and Sanatan Dharma (ancient Indian religion) which did not agree to segregate the people of other culture and religions. Considered all as the children of one god. But the importance of this historical acceptance was rejected by comparing it with composite culture in a very planned manner after independence. Therefore three generations of India could not know about their legacy and the culture of acceptance. In result they turned towards the west. It is surprising that the western countries are finding it difficult to live in harmony with those who migrated from middle east and for its solution they are looking towards India.</h5>
<h4 style="text-align:justify;"><span style="color:rgb(186,55,42);"><strong>Outlook of Swami Vivekanand in education </strong></span></h4>
<h5 style="text-align:justify;">The greatness of the understanding of India's spiritualism and the continuity of this civilization which has grown on the basis of earning knowledge and this was presented in the best form by Swami Vivekanand. In his words- We also know it that greatest power lies in the minute , not in that which appears bulky. From that there are many minute rules and that we know is quite different from the material rule. This means the material world , intellectual world and spiritual world are not any independent reigns. Whatever is it is just one element. Or we will say that these are such things which appear here bulky but as we go higher and higher it starts becoming minute and minute. Bulky is body and minute is the soul and  whatever is in subtle  form  in the soul that is in large scale in the world. Thing that is in the object it is  in the universe. This whole world is same like that. There is bulky density in external world and as it grows up it becomes more and more minute gradually and finally it becomes a part of the Almighty (Education, Ramkrishna Math, Nagpur, Page 21). As long as a man remains indulged in materiality he is influenced by the glare of it and he goes deep inside in search of joy. Scriptures are the foundation of Indian culture and they have been highlighted in it. Manu has talked about self - restrain, giving alms , keeping one's sense organs under control, search for the truth, sacredness, victory over anger, patience, ill intentions and hatred must be avoided and these elements have been described. Non-violence, truth, giving up anger, self-restrain, generosity, etc. are important and necessary qualities. Overall, a successful, satisfactory, full of the feeling of service to mankind, etc. have been directed. The characteristics found in the characters of Ramayana and Mahabharat make new generations aware of their cultural greatness and along with this it helps in deciding the goal of life. According to Swami Vivekanand - Making humans fully developed - is the use of these scriptures. There is no need of waiting for generation after generation. For example a wooden toy moves from one place to other in the wave of the sea but we do not need to become the toys of the rules of the nature that is undynamic. This science wants you to become powerful, take work in your hands, don't leave the things for nature to decide and get across the other side of the life. This is the great purpose (Education, Ramkrishna Math, Nagpur, Page 25).</h5>

<h5 style="text-align:justify;">Many such things can be quoted here and its eternal utility can be helpful in lifting the life style of every individual. They cannot have contradiction with any form of worshipping, or religion. India's treasure of knowledge , its culture, spiritual thoughts, philosophy have their prominence as the sages who promoted them in the world had a sense of serving the whole world. Those who got recognition in foreign lands, those who were praised , they never promoted any specific sect or religion,  they only taught to adopt the universally acceptable values. It is unforeseen that someone who belongs to a particular sect or religion still he shows respect for other religions and also inspires others to follow them.  Perhaps it is the quality of Sanatan Dharma or Indian culture that everyone should  show faith in that absolute power but it is no way required that to reach to the almighty everyone should follow the same path or consider any particular one religion,  sect, etc. a true path. Whenever there is a discussion over global brotherhood, world peace, universal progress, comprehensiveness of humanity, justified distribution of natural resources and participation in their preservation , first a proclamation should be made that they believe that their path is the best path for them but his neighbour's path is the best one for his neighbour and it is his duty to inspire his neighbour to follow the path of his own. Indian philosophy "same truth is explained in different manners" and there is cannot be any other path than this to ensure world peace. While following this path of India all Indian sages who worked in their own different paths and remained influenced by Sanatan Dharma and its culture but they never engaged themselves in promotion of any particular sect. Their all efforts were meant for promotion of those human values which were useful for everyone in the world irrespective of their own religions. One's life can be uplifted without conversion from one religion to another and can make their life happy and satisfactory. They can make a relation of  affection and brotherhood and could teach humans the lesson of cooperation, harmony and brotherhood. This power of Indian philosophy was recognized by Einstein, Open Himer, Martin Luther King, Nelson Mandela, etc. like great souls and they did not hesitate in expressing their fearless views.</h5>
<h5 style="text-align:justify;">Its practical aspect was globally admitted and praised. The importance of Indian scriptures was recognized by the western countries. German scholars studied Sanskrit and then they translated Indian scriptures like Ramayan, Mahabharat, Veda, Puranas, Upanishads and especially the Geeta and presented before the people of the western world so that they could know about them. In July 2017 a Chinese professor published an article in two parts and its heading meant something like this- If ancient India is being given more importance that what it deserves? He meant not to say anything about present political and economic debates but he talked mainly about the knowledge of ancient India, especially science, mathematics, spiritualism, etc. and he also discussed about the contribution of ancient to the world civilization. This man studied India and presented certain facts about it which highlights the Indian philosophy before those Indians who don't like to have discussion over ancient India. In this article there are certain examples showing that how the innovations and discoveries by Indians were perhaps intentionally ignored by the western countries and took whole credit for themselves. The earth is round and the credit to prove it scientifically goes to Aristole who lived in 384 bc. However, the reality is that in 890 ad Yagyavalakya had revealed this fact.He had also successfully counted the time taken by the earth in making one round of the sun. Now it has been proved that calculus and trigonometry was being used 500 years before Newton and Leibniz. An institute called School of Mathematics was set up a few years ago there and such initiatives are needed across the country. In development of history and the tradition of knowledge no civilization cannot keep its own people away.</h5>
<h5 style="text-align:justify;">Another example is of Indus valley civilization. Many new facts, contemporary inventions, excavations and research in this regard have come. Even about this civilization people of India don't know much and they are also not taught about it in a way so that they could feel proud of it. In schools, students are mostly taught that Saraswati river is just an imagination. In Lothal rulers were found to measure distances that too 4000 years ago. This instrument was invented by Indians and used it. This has been proved everywhere- in Harappa,  Mohanjodaro and Lothal. Yoga is today practised across the world and it is the power of this new experiment. Aryabhatta, Brahmagupta, Bhaskaracharya were three great mathematicians who were born in ancient Inda. They invented zero and took it forward in various times. It was Brahmagupta who had invented the symbol of zero. Bhaskaracharya introduced it in algebra. Invention of zero and dismal have got their amazing roles in the science of invention. It will always continue to be so. All this was learnt by Arabs from  Indians and they called it Hindsa. Europeans called it Arabic numerals. And Indians adopted it without much contemplation. Regarding utility of Ayurveda science there is none in the world who doubt that in the growth and development of science and civilization, it is the greatest contribution of India to the world. The work done by Sushrut and Charak in the field of Surgery it is presented by many people in a very wrong manner. On the other hand, some others who consider themselves modern they like to keep themselves away from such innovations. Perhaps foreigners know more about Maharshi Kanad than Indian know about him. Maharshi Kanad had described about the structure of molecules and atoms. Indians  had a great knowledge of construction of building and this is proved from the structures of temples in ancient India. This indicates Indian philosophy in science and cleanliness of thoughts. Sri Ravindra Nath Tagore had said about Konark temple that the languages of rocks is much advanced than the language of humans.</h5>

The country which gave the world so much in the fields of knowledge and science, why has it become so confined to imitate the western world.</strong></span></h5>

<h5 style="text-align:justify;">In the present time world is talking about India's economic development but among scholars it is also a matter  of discussion that why India is drifting away from its culture, its civilization, knowledge and its treasure of science. The country that gave India such a great things in the field of science why it has got confined to imitating the western world. At present in Indian institutes, its schools and university syllabus it is clearly seen that their most thrust is on western innovations, research and system of studies. The thought of going beyond the western knowledge has now ended. If one had acquaintance with the tradition of Indian knowledge,  this confidence would not have gone down to this extent. Many aspects of ancient India in a sponsored manner and due to known reasons was forgotten. It is also a fact that India's live and dynamic tradition of knowledge and  innovation there had been many obstacles and some of them officially tried to destroy it completely. In them those foreign invasions and foreign rules of 1000 years are also included in which foreign forces tried to destroy Indian system of education and system of knowledge. These efforts have been completely successful.</h5>
<h5 style="text-align:justify;">In this period also, students of India are not being taught properly about Shivaji, Mahana Pratap, Guru Govind Singh, Banda Bahadur,  Prithviraj Chauhan, Subhash Chandra Bose, Ashfaq Ullah Khan like heroes who sacrificed their lives for the freedom of the country and this way these students are devoid of a sharpness in their actions and discharging of their duties. Will a country like to ignore the sacrifice of Guru Tegbahadur who laid his life for the country and secular values and promote Auranzeb as an ideal for its future generation. Never because it will be injustice to the future generation , unfortunately this has happened in India. In no other society people of a particular sect were killed in such a large number as it happened in India where a large number of Sanatani Hindus were killed. Is it not a surprising fact that the culture of this country had a believe that all are descendants of one god. All are brothers and sisters and there is nothing greater than forgiveness. Committing atrocities on others is the biggest sin. On the basis of this spiritual ground people of India lived in harmony with invaders who committed atrocities on them.</h5>
<h5 style="text-align:justify;">Many policy oriented decisions were taken in this independent country due to which the contribution of India's history, its culture to the development of the world history was not told to the future generations of this country. In the name of social harmony and sectarian brotherhood policies were twisted in such a way that discussion about Sanskars and ancient culture of India at educational institutes were banned. The sources of ancient culture of India - the Ramayan, the Mahabhat, the Geeta, the Vedas and the Puranas were declared to be scriptures of only one sect and not of the whole nation and these were sidelined. No country in the world could ignore its cultural legacy as it happened in India. Are the Geeta, yoga and meditation, etc. not a treasure for the whole world? If ten Shlokas of the Geeta are included in the syllabus of our students will it mean that it is encouraging communalism in the country? Today the degradation evident in general life style , administration, etc. is due to this only. Today the whole world is pursuing yoga practice, recognizing its health and other benefits, but in India it is being opposed and this opposition is getting wider acceptance. It is only Yoga and meditation which can give solace in today's world in which bigotry, violence, superstitions, lack of trust, tension, etc. are growing. Every India is a heir of the culture and civilization of ancient India, irrespective of one's creed, sect and religion. It is unfortunate that we are such heirs of ancient India known for imitating the west blindly. Should this situation not be changed as we are faced with opposition for Yoga and meditation in our own country. When told our own people are showing doubting its own cultural legacy.</h5>
<h5 style="text-align:justify;">Unfortunately we have become so satisfied by imitating the west that despite being told about it we prefer to remain unmoved. It is also a matter of concern that in Indian knowledge, science, culture and philosophy, policies were available for the people of whole world to live with dignity and with distribution of resources dimensions to frame economic policies are also available but they are not being recognized in their own country. In result we have very limited number of people who are interested in doing innovations. In stead just imagine the phase when scholars sacrificed their whole life in searching the answers to the questions before and after the life. For them it was necessary to know about the questions related to humans and the nature and their relation, so that relation between the two remain intact. With growing greed of humans which led to misuse of natural resources, it resulted into season change, rising temperature of the earth, depletion of ozone layer, etc. are serious challenges before the world. Gandhi Ji had talked about the strength of the culture of ancient India and its tradition of knowledge and he had talked about it which is still a world famous thing- Nature has resources to fulfill everyone's need but not for everyone's greed. With it he was presenting a very strong aspect of Indian philosophy in a very effective manner. It has always been very important aspect- Sarvebhutahite Ratah. And its source point is the concept of soul and interaction with one's soul which is considered as the best in the world. This thinking could give birth to such ideas which are capable in resolving many big problems.</h5>
<h5 style="text-align:justify;">By dividing the stages of life into Artha, Dharma , Kama and Moksha, the path of making human  life meaningful and satisfactory was shown by Indian scholars to the whole world , even before those who practice Sanathna Dharma and a very little number people who are of , sects and religions, for example those who don't believe in rebirth. In this culture even Charvak has been considered as a sage or saint. An individual was free to take all the decisions without any obstacles whether he believes in god or not , whether he is Saguna or Nirguna, here Saguna means those who worship idols of gods like Lord Ram , Lord Vishnu, Lord Shiva, Lord Krishna, etc. and try to know the truth. In this situation there is no discrimination possible for the followers of any other religion. In ancient Indian civilization the most important factor was the freedom of brain which was ensured for every individual. Its form is  to ask questions. Everyone can ask any question and  can also raise questions on the existence of the Almighty but still can remain a part of the same culture. During question answer sessions described in Mahabharat on two occasions- Yakshya - Yudhishthira and second was the Geeta question and answer session between Arjun and Sri Krishna, are famous examples  of this tradition. The Gurukul system of education on this basis has described the methods of question, counter question and so in the form of contemplation , study, usefulness and attention. No scholar could raise question on the meaningfulness of this system which developed in Gurukuls. Many such thoughts are legacy of this culture and scholars present them time to time. But this is not sufficient . By accepting the reality of today's global village this culture must be promoted vehemently in the world. What ever is happening today is required to be given even more meaningful shape and should be expanded in the world. First in the educational institutes this system is used to make teachers interested and they will have to be given freedom that they could make their students aware of India's ancient culture without any hesitation and also tell the students about its universality and unity of its human values. Many civilizations grew at many places in the world and many of them got vanished in course of time. Those who have set material pleasure, accumulation of wealth, sensual pleasure as the sole purpose of their lives they got vanished. Indian cultural and civilization influenced the civilizations of China and Japan and this Indian culture still exists. Indian and Greek civilizations were born in different environments and Greek civilization had serious contemplation on its expansion in external world.</h5>
<h5 style="text-align:justify;">Indian civilization believed in going deeper and deeper to known and understand itself from within. In today's world which is influenced by materialism this thinking is still growing that those who have accumulated enormous wealth are devoid of peace and sound sleep. The concept of Sat-Chid and Anand is a part of Indian culture and it is out of question to think reaching there. Its path that is most useful for all and is not influenced by any ideas, India has already shown- Dhanad Dharmah Tatah Sukham- which means wealth for Dharma and that gives pleasure. There is still something between earning money and getting pleasure and it is good conduct. The meaning of Dharma has not yet come in the knowledge of any other society.</h5>
<h5 style="text-align:justify;">This is the biggest challenge before India that how to make its present generation well aware of the greatness of its past generation and make them have the realization of respect and glory for their ancient culture and be resolute to make a part of their present life style in today's world. This job must be done  in present world in the national interest without any suspicion and doubt.</h5>

With the help of it we have brought the whole world close to each other and turned the earth into a global village and today anybody living in any corner of the world  can contact anyone in any other part of the world. We have written a great success story even in the field of space science. The efforts that we have been making for building doctors, engineers and scientists , it is sufficient.<br />Besides the purpose of education  and knowledge that we have , it makes us full of internal completeness, divinity, peace, satisfaction, friendship, compassion, bliss, etc. but we are not focusing on it. Material growth, education, ideology are rampant in the world but the important and focus that we should show for development of an individual, education and rise of feelings, it is not happening. How to ensure generosity in a man? Humbleness, mutual cooperation, power of rejecting pains, courage to fight obstacles and difficulties, etc. are to be ensured and in the education of children and youth it is required to bring fundamental changes. It requires to include material fulfilment as well as internal , spiritual, religious and moral fulfilment as well. But today's education , has become job centric and money centric. Any field of education is chosen on the basis of what kind of job this or that education will ensure or how much money it will fetch. It is so because in our society as well wealth, money, prosperity and material growth are given great importance. However divine element should be given this place in a person. But it is making us devoid of it. While our main wealth , our real wealth which helps us in this world and that world as well is as follows-</h5>

<h5 style="text-align:justify;">What is today's system of education, is care taken of these qualities in it ? The school or college your children attend, is it that moral education is given there? Is this education able to guarantee fearlessness, clean heart, knowledge, yoga, penance, simplicity, non-violence, truth, sacrifice, peace, glory, sacrifice, patience, etc. which are divine qualities. These are some very serious questions before every parents and they are before this whole society and the world. If we have contemplation over it, it will be known that in today's education, no sign of internal development and completeness of humans are seen. For this we will have to cast our sight on such a system in which apart from material education, moral, religious, internal education should also be there and it is Indian methods of education. It is that which was adopted by our sages for lakhs and crores of years  and have build up a totally inclusive, complete, developed, balanced system of education in which mind, feelings and morality have been developed.<br />In the present system of education it is often seen that some one has passed graduate and post graduate examination but he fails to get a good job or success in business. This develops frustration, disappointment in him and he is ready to attack himself. This is the weakness of the present system of education and it is also a result of flaws. Information was given to a person but peace, satisfaction nd skill was not given to him. A man dives into the sea and finds precious stones and pearls which is a matter of great joy. With economic prosperity and attains the zenith of success but at the same time if he moves on the path of selflessness, freedom from greed, free from ill will, then we will witness the rule of God on this plant. There will be purity, truth and  beauty all around and we will be able to make a meaningful life and can include auspiciousness in the Samashti. It is also the declaration of Vedas-</h5>

                <title>England is indebted to India in educational field India's Gurukul system of education played unforgettable role in educating English people </title>

In fact public education had no priority for the British regime. In some of the Church of Britain ,  simple grammar to enable people to understand Bible was taught. Industrial revolution took place in 18th century and big industries were set up in England and at the same time British Parliament passed education bill in 1802 and provisions for  education of weavers and their illiterate children were made. It said that in seven years of job a labourer should be taught for at least 2-4 hours by his master for the first four years so that common citizens could become able to read and write. With this day schools came into existence in England and now the question was where to get qualified teachers for them. It was the time  when majority of people in England were illiterate. Then Chaplean Andrew Bell and other British clergymen saw Madrass (South Indian) system of education and he got associated with Madrass school education as School Superintendent and it was seen that senior students in Madrass would teach junior students with monitor system and this way learning process began in the guidance of the teachers and any separate full time teacher was also not required. This method  also resolved discipline related systematic problems. In 1798, Andrew Bell went to England and introduced this Indian system which in tern became famous as Bell system or Madrass system in the world.  This system was finally accepted as the system of education in that country. No doubt that this system of education revolutionized the expansion of education in the country. </h5>]]></content:encoded>

The word education has been used in broader context in the vedic tradition. There are various examples in the ancient vedic vangamaya. According to vedic point of view, the education is the element without which the human being is like an animal. The refinement is the basic ingredient of children's personality. <br />Refinement can be divided into two parts-</h5>

<h5 style="text-align:justify;">Special arrangement has been made to check both types of refinement in vedic tradition. Various prakalp of Patanjali yogapeeth are trying hard to bring back rishi era. No, Apart from education, they had divine consciousness. Their life was filled with divine fast and divine rituals. When the people observe fasting while acquiring knowledge, it gives great results. Without observing fast, the people are grappled with sin, bad habits and corruption despite having higher education. Therefore, if the people observe fast, it will help them attain enlightenment. The intention plays important role in the life of people. If we observe fast, our life will be filled with purity and greatness. </h5>

The good character is essential for human development. Our scripture says that 'acharhinam na punanti vedah it means that even veda can't help characterless people. </h5>
