There are various alternatives before us in the every walk of life whether it’s politics, education, industry, religion, spiritualism, social, family, yoga ayurveda, naturopathy allopathy, Tibetan, Chinese or medicine.

Whether joining politics or not is also an alternative. Dislodging the ruling party or giving mandate to a particular political party is also an alternative. Selection of subject is also an alternative. Making effort for gaining prosperity in economic and industrial sector is also an alternative. Vedic culture, Buddhism, Jainism, Sikhism in Indian culture and imported culture tradition like Christianity are cultural tradition. Alternatives of ascetic life or sanyasi life are also available before us. The alternatives are great for human nature because everybody has not similar capability. But illusions and misconceptions in alternatives are harmful. Therefore, select only scientific, universal, practical alternatives. I am committed to alternatives of truth for world welfare apart from yoga, veda, Indian and welfare of myself.

Many a times, we have experienced that we were scared to do several works. In fact, that works needed confidence. We needed to say that yes we can do that.

There are many similarities’ in our life. That’s why you have attained knowledge, mighty, prestige, wealth, and many facilities. You have enjoyed all these facilities. Getting it is not an easy task. You have got it on your own. Therefore, you should introspect and enjoy. Generally you clap for others. Today, clap for yourself. It will increase your self confidence.

You will get success if you adopt some merits like reverence, effort, patience, continuity, power, knowledge, memory, concentration, intelligence, dedication. It proves that you have some special qualities which will provide many successes to you.

Undoubtedly, these merits will bring success in future. There is need to hone these skills. All these successes prove that you have something special qualities. There is a need to increase self confidence and prove many more in future.

On many occasions, we feel that the life will go smoothly. But in reality, it’s not so. Victory and defeat are the part of life. On the crucial time of defeat, self confidence boosts encouragement. The inner consciousness gives enormous power and confidence and encourages us to keep faith in you capability. Realise your own capacity. You have taken birth in this very world to do something unique. You have set a new record on many occasions. Therefore, say nothing but prove. We think about our aim of life. The question arises that what do we want? We want a stable life which is enjoyable and meaningful. There should be a freedom for living and an ownership on needful things.

Generally, all the people lead a life but they don’t get spiritual life. We need blessings of god and wealth to lead of spiritual life. You should show dedication to get god’s blessings. Similarly, an entrepreneur should set up industry to earn money. They will have to sell their produce to run industry. They will also have to advertise your produce very well. So let’s start with advertisement to grow business.

The advertisement, business and spiritual life are related with each other. Therefore, whenever we start a new business and prepare a new product, a question about advertisement arises in our mind. What’s the contribution of advertisement in its marketing? It’s certain that the product is not a news item being published in the newspaper and on television that these products are of a particular company. Theoretically, floating ad in the newspaper and on the television doesn’t augment sales of products despite having good quality. So, without advertisement, effort goes in vain. We need to disseminate information regarding qualities of products to sell them. We need to use effective advertisement as a tool for their marketing. Because, the advertisement is an effective, strong and important medium for publicity.    

We describe special merits of our products through advertisement. For example, we say about ‘dant kanti’ powder and tooth paste to use ‘dant kanti’ to remove bad odour and keep the teeth strong. Apart from it, your teeth will be bright and beautiful. A tooth paste has these qualities and we inform the people about it.

You should describe elaborately about the merits of your products in advertisement to gain success in the business. Let the public know about qualities of your products and how will your products benefit the consumers? But at the same time, your products must have qualities described in advertisement.

Let the public know about merits of your products honestly in the advertisement.

Bring attraction in the title of advertisement so that people must think about it. The design of advertisement must show qualities of products. The drawing must give an imprint in the mind of consumers and attract them.

If the consumers are convinced about qualities of your products, they will buy it.

I am delighted to participate in the gyankumbh 2018 organised at patanjali yogapeeth in the beautiful natural atmosphere of devabhumi Uttarakhand. There has been a tradition of organising religious kumbh in the country for centuries. Haridwar has been sacred land for organising kumbh. But organising first gyankumbh is very meaningful initiative.

Swami Ramdev is playing a pivotal role in augmenting importance of yoga in the modern knowledge and the education. According to earlier concept of yoga, the yoga was exercised on the mountains. Therefore, it was impossible for the common people to do yoga. But Swami Ramdev Jee’s effort has broken that myth. Today, the people in India and abroad have been adopting yoga. The UNO decided to celebrate June 21 as International Yoga Day due to efforts of government of India. That Day is celebrated in entire world. In fact, the life of Swami Ramdev Jee is synonymous with yoga exercise. Education is in my soul. Because, the education is the very basis of people, society and the prosperity in the country. The education ministers of the states, education secretaries, vice chancellors, principals, administrative officers and students are participating in the programme here. They will deliver their speech on the important subjects like Indian knowledge tradition and qualitative change. Both the Centre and the state governments are equally responsible for higher education in the country. Today, there is a new coordination between the Centre and the state government over higher education. For that, the Uttarakhand government has presented a good example. The higher education has mainly three pillars-teacher, management and student. The student has limited role, but the management and teachers are highly responsible for quality education. Every child has a talent which can be honed by the teachers and the educational institutions. No child should be deprived of opportunity of education due to poverty and disability. The teachers are also responsible for sowing the seeds of refinement apart from imparting education to the students. But only those teachers who are sensitive can impart love and refinement to the students. There are many inspiring examples of ideal teachers in the country. The contribution of Acharya Chanakya, Baba Sahab Bhimrao Ambedkar, Dr Sarvapalli Radhakrishnan, Dr APJ Abdul Kalam and Mahamana Madanmohan Malaviya are exemplary. The management of educational institutions must be honest, transparent and authentic. We must make coordination at world level for relevant and useful higher education. I have seen during my foreign tour that many countries have study centres related with Indian subjects specially Indology. Similarly, Russian Studies, East Asian and German Studies, French Studies can also be accommodated in our universities. I would like that Union HRD Ministry must take initiative in this direction. I would be curious to know the conclusions of this dialogue being held for two days. I hope that this programme will be helpful in providing world class higher education in the country. I offer good wishes for your success in effort of reforming quality of higher education. 

Yogi Adityanath (Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh)

The Patanjali University is doing tremendous job by organising gyankumbh. First of all, we have to do research in Indian vedic tradition and knowledge. Despite having great knowledge tradition in the country, today’s educated youths are hopeless. The laziness is the main reason behind it. Respected Swami Ramdev Jee Maharaj has set up yoga tradition of Maharshi Patanjali and Indian spiritual tradition at world platform. Patanjali is doing good work of conservation of manuscript of ancient knowledge. Respected Swami Jee Maharaj has revived ancient gurukuliya tradition through acharyakulam and vedic gurukulam. Kumbh is a unique gift of Indian culture to the world. We have to adopt ancient knowledge of Indian intellectuals. Many students are getting diverted from their path due to lack of fundamental theories in higher education. For that, we have to bring qualitative change in the education through programmes like gyankumbh.

Some people ask for proof of Ram Janmabhumi. This is the repercussions of our wrong education policies. Lord Rama is the largest proof of our faith and confidence.  

Param Pujya Yoga Rishi Swami Ramdev Jee Maharaj

We are obliged for Honourable President for his august presence on the occasion. There is a sutra in Sankhya Darshan- Gyananmuktih, it means that the knowledge removes darkness and this is the slogan of this gyankumbh. The knowledge is the mantra of eradication of ignorance, unemployment, sorrow, poverty in the world. The country will get new light through this gyankumbh. Like yoga, the gyankumbh provides light of knowledge in the entire world and brings lost glory to India.
Respected Yogi Jee has boosted culture of the country. The yoga and veda are spreading due to Yogi Jee who is karmyogi, rashtrayogi and rajyogi. Sanskrit is not only a language but the culture and identity of India. People expect from Yogi Jee to provide due pride to Sanskrit. The countrymen waited for SC verdict on Ram Temple. All the MPs of Uttar Pradesh unanimously must bring Private Member Bill to pave the way for building Ram Temple at Ayodhya. This bill may be opposed. But nobody is opposed to Lord Rama.

Gyankumbh aims at qualitative reforms in higher education. The teacher has been glorified in comparison to the god in India. The students from entire world used to visit universities like Nalanda for attaining knowledge. We have to regain glory of knowledge tradition. Today is the era of technique. The syllabus needs to be updated through technique in the education.

Holding Gyankumbh in the state is a historic initiative. There will be an amrit manthan for all the educational institutions of the country through gyankumbh which will continue to direct the next generation for long time. Out of 903 universities, around 37 are situated in rural areas. Most of colleges don’t provide facilities of research based study. So, there is a need for make higher education as per modern and future requirements.

Apart from that, jeans, T-shirts and shoes will be easily available in livefit brand. Special discount has been given on aastha, sanskar and livefit in patanjali apparel store upto five days from dhanteras to divali and bhaiya dooj.
Patanjali apparel includes identity of entire country from Uttarakhand to Varanasi, from Varanasi to Tamilnadu and from Assam to Maharashtra.
On the occasion, Swami Jee Maharaj said that we have taken this initiative to provide higher quality of clothes and Varanasi sarees for marriage ceremony. The world brand has 2.5 Acceptable Quality Level, while we have 1.5 AQL. The higher quantity of AQL is believed to be of low quality. It means that the quality of patanjali apparel is double in comparison to other brands. Provide pride and prosperity to our own people. 

   Cinanamon is widely used as spice. It’s cultivated mainly in Tamil Nadu, Karnataka and Kerala and wet sea shore and lower mountain area of south west India. Cinnamon has been used for the treatment of many diseases in sanhita and many ancient ayurveda. Cinnamon has also been mentioned in trijatak and chaturjat. Peel of cinnamon is thinner than that of tejpatta. It’s of scented and tasty.

Outer shape

The height and diameter of cinnamon is 6-16 meter and 50 cm respectively. It’s of medium size and sadaharit tree. Its peel of stem is of raktabh-brown colour, soft and kadachit tanu, soft and pandur colour. Its taste is of sweet. New stem is of light brown colour, scented and jeerna tree is rough and brown colour. Its leaves are opposite, tough, charmvat. It’s of pink colour in initial stage. Later it turns bright. Its height is 7.5-20 cm, while width is 3.8-7.5 cm. Its shape is of bhalakar. Its leaf gives bad odour while crushing. Its flower is of small size in diameter of 0.5 cm. Its colour is yellow, green and white. It’s of bad odour and soft. Its fruit is of 1.3-1.7 cm long, oval in shape and sharp. Its seed is single. Its flower period and fruit period is between July to December.

Ayurvedic qualities and effects

• Cinnamon is deepan, vatanuloman, liver exciter, cervical exciter, pain killer, blood purifier, worm killer, stambhak, vranropak, mural, vakikarak, pittshamak and mouth cleaner. It lessens bad odour of mouth. It provides energy.

   

• Ethanol of its kand shows varnropak activity.

Medicinal use, quantity and process

Headache

• Headache- Crush 8-10 leaves of cinnamon and apply it to the forehead to get rid of headache erupted due to cold or heat.

   

• Use cinnamon oil to get rid of headache created due to cold.

   

• Apply cinnamon ark on the forehead in the headache created due to cold.

   

• Paittik headache: Prepare micro kalk by using equal proportion of cinnamon, tejpatta and sugar and chaval dhovan. Mix it with nasya of cow ghee and use it to lessen headache.

• Use cinnamon oil to get relief in tantrika shool and shirahshool.

Eye disease

• Use cinnamon oil on the eyelid to increase eyesight.

Nasal disease

• Cook 3 gm cinnamon, 600 mg olive, 2 gm ginger in one liter of water. Filter the mixture when its quantity becomes 250 ml. Use 50 ml thrice a day to get rid of nasal disease.

Ear disease:

• Deafness- Use 2-2 drops of cinnamon oil to get rid of this disease.

Mouth disease:

• Dant shool- Use cinnamon oil to get rid of this disease.

   

• Crush 5-6 leaves of cinnamon and use it to clean teeth.

Vaksh disease:

• Cough- Use half spoon dust of cinnamon with two spoon honey twice in a day to get rid of cough.   

   

• Cough- cold- Mix one fourth spoon of cinnamon dust in one spoon of honey and use it thrice to get rid of this disease. Use cinnamon leaves fant (10-20 ml) to lessen cough.

   

• Hiccup- Use 10-20 ml of cinnamon ark in 250 mg of mastagi to get rid of this disease.

   

• TB- Use very less amount of cinnamon oil to check the bacteria.

Abdominal disease

• Mix 5 gm cinnamon dust in one spoon honey and use it thrice a day to get relief in abdominal, disease, diarrhea, chronic diarrhea, grahni disease and afare.

   

• Mix 750 mg cinnamon dust in 750 mg kattha dust and use it with water thrice a day to check diarrhea.

   

• Mix 2-5 gm cinnamon in belagiri sharvat and use twice a day to check this disease.

   

• Crush 4 gm cinnamon and 10 gm kattha and mix it with 250 ml hot water. Use it after two hours.

   

• Crush 500 mg ginger, 500 mg cardamom and 500 mg cinnamon and use it twice a day. It checks constipation.  

   

• Cinnamon oil is helpful in eye disease.

   

• Prepare kwath of cinnamon, cardamom, tajpatta and use it to get rid of intestinal disease.

   

• Use 10-20 ml of kwath made of cinnamon and lavanga to check vomiting.

   

• 10-20 ml kwath of cinnamon is helpful in abdominal diseases.

   

• Use 5-10 ml of cinnamon oil with 10 gm candy to get rid of intestinal shool and vomiting.

   

• Use 10-20 ml ark made of peel of cinnamon root to check intestinal disease, chhardi, hallas, diarrhea and pravahika.

   

• Use dust of peel of root and stem of cinnamon along with haridra kand dust to get relief in afara, hiccup and other abdominal diseases.

Bone disease

• Arthritis- Prepare pulp of 10-20 gm cinnamon dust with 20-30 ml honey. Apply the pulp to get rid of arthritis. Apart from it, use one spoon of honey with 2 gm cinnamon dust in one cup of warm water. Use it thrice to get relief of this disease.

   

• Rheumatoid arthritis- Use cinnamon oil to check this disease.

Skin disease

• Use honey and cinnamon to get rid of itching.

   

• Use cinnamon, aak milk and daruhaldi to get rid of narivran.

Sarvasharir disease

• Bleeding- Cinnamon ark is helpful in bleeding. Use 10-20 ml of cinnamon ark thrice a day to check bleeding in lungs.

   

• Use one spoon of cinnamon dust with a cup of water twice or thrice.

   

• Mix two spoon of honey with three spoon of cinnamon dust in a cup of water and use thrice a day to check cholesterol in blood.   

   

• Fever- Mix one spoon of honey with 5 gm cinnamon and use it thrice to get rid of fever.

   

• Use 1-2 gm dust of trikut, pipramul, cinnamon, cardamom, tejpatta and akarakare with honey to check sutika diseases.

Today, we are going to discuss an important topic that how do lokamangal and atmamangal happen? Atmamngal can be accommodated in lokamangal. Is more effort made for atmamangal? Let’s understand the meaning of lokamangal. The earth, air, sky, atmosphere, sun, moon, constellation, river, forest, mountains, rains and sea are collectively known as ‘lok’ and its welfare is known as ‘lokamangal’.
The human being is an important unit of these ingredients of lok. All these ingredients have their own importance. For example, the environment wants to be healthy but we have to find the reasons for it. Similarly, how can the aquatic animals be safeguarded? We should ponder over maintaining greenery in the world. Sri Swami Ramdev Jee Maharaj and Sri Acharya Balkrishna Jee have dedicated their life for ayurveda and herbals.

The human being should protect aquatic animals. They should not kill wild animals for their livelihood. The human beings should be responsible for safety of entire universe. The ignorance of human beings destroys the universe.

If the human beings don’t involve in the cycle, there will be no disturbance in the universe. The misdeed and the ignorance of human beings is the cause of imbalance in the universe. Around 50 years ago vulture used to clean the atmosphere by eating died animals. Now the number of vulture has reduced. The medicines containing salt is used in the animals. It makes adverse effect on the vulture. The river water got polluted. It makes adverse effect on the aquatic animals. The present lifestyle polluted the atmosphere. Yagya was conducted to clean atmosphere. We should focus on agriculture and cow farming. We should impart proper education to the children. Those who are neglected get deviated from their path.

We want to find the ways for lokamangal. We have seen that the human being is the cause of all the problems. The human beings are facing ignorance, lack of resources, lack of mutual harmony, problem unhealthy and lack of true education. Nobody can solve all the problems. The people working for welfare of the universe must contribute in this yagya.

It seems that first step of lokamangal is the harmony of lokamangal. The people must be aware of it. They should make contribution as farmer, teacher, painter, writer, shopkeeper, doctor, police, driver and banker. It means that everybody has unique quality.

In this series, somebody loses interest in the worldly life. But at the same time, he/she is also playing a pivotal role in the lokamangal.

Those who are serving with material are also plying role in maintaining materialistic existence. For example, if the farmers don’t engage in farming and the industrialists don’t produce required articles, we will face problems in the life. Police and military also serve the people by maintaining law and  order. The labourers are also essential. We can’t construct houses without labourers. It will make adverse affect on the greenery. We can see that the labourers play important role in the world. The fourth type of people is those who do brainstorm like painter, writer, poet, storyteller, teacher, professor and preacher. The scientist and philosopher conduct research. Einstein, Stephen Hokins played tremendous role in the world. But the question arises that what is the role of saints in lokamangal?

See! Those who lead a peaceful life create similar atmosphere because themselves. Estranged people are playing the role of teacher. Their effect can be imagined easily. The great personalities define that teacher works on disciple with three types- teaching, visionary and effect. Some teacher orders the student ‘to do’ or ‘not to do’.  Second type of teacher teaches the student how to be peaceful. They give example to their students. The third type of teacher transforms the student through their effect. The students should be receptive to grasp the knowledge. Vision is more important than teaching. Effect is more important than vision. We should understand that the teacher or estrange saint assumes more spiritual power. The sun shines in the sky but somebody shuts the window.

Sri Arbind writes- the effect is more important than vision. The effect meant the teacher doesn’t possess the student but the power of his presence. The main characteristic of the teacher is to pour in divine light, power, purity and bliss in the students.

Similarly, the role of such estrange saints can’t be devaluated for lokamangal. You can say that such type of student is rarely found. This world is a big market. The crowd is seen at grocery shop, very few customers visit jewellery shop. Similarly, dance programme has large crowd, while spiritual persons have very few followers around them. Novel has the highest number of readers, while veda has less number readers. It means that if the estrange saint helps even a single person, it will fulfil the aim of lokamangal. The seekers search for an authentic personality.

It can be said that the means of lokamangal is material, word, thought and thoughtless. Acharya Vinoba Jee has said that ‘the people generally give importance to the duty. But at the same time, the word is powerful than duty. Thought is more important than word. The thoughtless is more important than thought.

The cruelty is more dangerous than physical violence. It’s said that physical wound is filled but wound of word is not filled. Similarly, cruel thought is dangerous. A person can think about welfare of the world. He  can attain moksha. The estrange persons also play instrumental role bringing lokamangal in the world as they remain in thoughtless position.

It’s worth mentioning that those who remain in thoughtless position can never indulge in cruelty. Prayers are mentioned in veda—

Tanme manah shivasadkalpamastu (Yajurveda—34.1), manasah kamamakuti vachah satyamashiya (Yajurveda—39.4 )

I wish for Shiva dedication, encouragement, truth of speech. If someone wishes for good thought, it will bring lokamangal in the world. The being innocent is the first step of good thought. They wish for prosperity of all. One saint prays for no bad for anyone. I have no right to consider anyone bad.

   Dear audience at international arya conference! Let’s take commitment to spread the dreams of Maharshi Dayanand at the doors of every household and realise it by next conference. His had dreamt of providing prestige to the veda and respect to the arya, deity and rishi in the entire nation.

This eternal speech is not of Maharshi and great personalities but it’s the commitment of God itself. We have to realise the dreams in the life. We have to attend the conference with full commitment. We have to do our responsibility to fulfil it. ‘Koaham ka  ch me shaktih iti chintayet muhurmuhuh’ who am I? What’s my power? What’s my responsibility? We have to ponder over it. We have to do our responsibilities. Kastva yunakti sa tva yunakti, kasmai tva yunakti, tasmai tva yunakti karmane vam veshya vam (veda) I The God has dispatched us to help others. We have taken birth to attain divinity in the life. Svena kratuna samvadeta I We are follower of veda. We are follower of saint Dayanand who adopted teachings of veda in his life. Every Indian must have such virtue. We have to provide such refinement and thoughts to the next generation. We have to lead a life of true arya and behave as per the veda.

The arya gets conducted sixteen refinements in his family. Let’s take a pledge to perform refinement as per the refinement process laid down by Maharshi Dayanand. It’s the constitution of arya samaj. It’s the constitution of veda and rishi. We have to adopt it. Sixteen refinements and five mahayagya must be performed at home. Our children must chant gayatri mantra and sandhopasana. Maharshi Dayanand aimed at removing ignorance and adopting knowledge.

Ignorance and disrespect keep us away from the god. If we remove these bad habits, we will realise the presence of god in the heart. We are the representatives of the ultimate god.

The people say that Maharshi Dayanand used to refute. But saint was at par with Maharshi Dayanand in glorifying the god in every particle of the universe. He saw the entire universe in the god.

Maharshi Dayanand says that the universe is the example of the god who can provide relief to human being. The god can see the ultimate element.

Maharshi Dayanad made a sea change in present India whether it’s purification movement, female education movement, vedic education movement through gurukul or modern education through DAV, untouchability eradication movement, movement against caste, harmony in the country, equality movement or justice movement. In fact, the soul of country is filled with thoughts of Maharshi Dayanand. The moral values and fundamental rights are the soul of the constitution in the country. They have imprint of Maharshi Dayanand’s thoughts.

Despite being a brahman, Dayanand laid stress on duties of brahman. Castiest biasness didn’t affect him.

If we dream of casteless India, the head of the organisations must be appointed with keeping in mid his/her talent instead of caste. We all are caste of human being.

The agenda of this arya conference should be that every arya must spend 10 percent of his/her income on the campaign of Maharshi Dayanand’s thought. The Christians and the Muslims spend thousands crores of rupees annually on the campaign of Bible and Quran respectively. Then we should also make satyarth prakash available at the doors of every household.
Patanjali yogapeeth will publish satyarth prakash in every language of the world in the days to come. It’s our promise to make available satyarth prakash in all the libraries of the world so that the people can know the meaning of vedic religion, veda, vedic civilisation, vedic culture. The vedic religion is taught wrongly in the major universities of the world like Oxford, Harvard. The satyarth prakash will check it.

Maharshi Dayanand talked about humanity. Now the people of entire world are talking about human religion.

All the aryasamaj people must adopt the thoughts of Maharshi Dayanand in their life. They should instil the thoughts of Maharshi Dayanand in the mind of their children.

Maharshi Dayanand says that he has no cult of his own. He believes in veda scriptures, Brahma, Jamini, material and truths. The humanity and human being defined by Maharshi Dayanand is the best definition in the world.

Who is the human being? The human being must ponder over prosperity and sorrow. They must not get affected with mighty. They must protect the religious persons whether they are weak and fight with unreligious persons whether they are mighty. Only Maharshi Dayanand has the guts to say this. This is the great discourse delivered by Maharshi Dayanand to the world. We have to spread it. Today, co-existence, worldly brotherhood, world peace and world prosperity are being discussed in the world. Maharshi Dayanand has given such fundamental theory.

The human being must not deviate from the religion. This is the discourse of Maharshi Dayanand. We have to spread it in the world.

Today, there is less number of sanyasi in aryasamaj. We have to increase the number of the best sanyasi to realise the dream of Maharshi Dayanand. Patanjali yogapeeth is playing a pivotal role in this task.

As long as a single disciple is alive in the world, vedic religion and culture will exist here. We have prepared around hundred disciples who believe Maharshi Dayanand as their teacher. Around five hundred arya sanyasi will campaign for veda religion for next international arya conference.

We have taken step in making casteless India. Dalits, vanvasi people have also been initiated into veda, yagya and yagyopavit. The best sanyasi have been given big task to realise the dream of Maharshi Dayanand.

Maharshi Dayanand was instrumental in building modern India at social, economic, political, religious, spiritual and global level.

Maharshi Dayanand and his followers started many movements in freedom struggle.

We have to regain the lost glory. His followers must reflect his characters. We have to hold debates. But at the same time, we have to give prominence reverence. ‘Shradham bhagasya murdhani vachasa vedayamasi’- the veda says that we should prefer reference. Therefore all the aryasamaj followers must take pledge for giving reverence to Maharshi Dayanand organisation, veda, saints.

Every follower of aryasamaj must prefer organisation. We should revere Maharshi Dayanand as our teacher. Generally, the people forget their tradition. But we are the follower Maharshi Dayanand.

We should proud of being the disciple of Maharshi Dayanand. Nobody can deviate us from the path of veda loyalty, arya loyalty, religion loyalty and nation loyalty. We should adopt Maharshi Dayanand’s thoughts. We should give priority to the values of Maharshi Dayanand. 

Maurya Empire

According to Indian historical holy scripture, the period of Chandragupta Maurya is 18thcentury BC, while disciple of William Jones believes it 4th century BC. The inscriptions of Chandragupta Maurya and Emperor Ashoka mention about their contemporary kings. The Yavans in the inscription of Ashoka at Jalalabad have been called citizens of emperor Ashoka whose empire was spread from Himalaya to Chennai. But Ashoka has never accepted himself as follower of Buddhism. He declares himself as follower of religion and sadharm. (DR Bhandarkar, Ashoka, Kolkata, 1899).

Gupta Empire

Gupta dynasty emperor is the second largest emperor who ruled from 375 BC to 6thcentury. Later, Chandragupta Vikramaditya and Kumargupta First and Skandgupta of this empire defeated Hun military. The Hun is Indian kshtriya which is mentioned in Ramayana and Mahabharata. They ruled entire Europe and Arabic region and one fourth of the world was under their kingdom. But the mighty kshtriya of India didn’t allow them to enter the country.
Emperor Samudragupta, Chandragupta II and Kumargupta I performed yagya and provided shelter to the Buddhism and Jainism. Great poet Kalidas, great playwright Vishakhadatta, great koshkar Amar Singh, great mathematician Aryabhatta, Varah Mihir and Brahmgupta were in the regime of Emperor Chandragupta Vikramaditya. Patliputra was the capital of the Gupta Emperor. There are proofs of architecture Gupta Emperor at Mehrauli of Delhi and Nalanda of Bihar.

Emperor Kanishka dynasty

The Kanishka Empire was spread from Gandhar to south India and Chinese Turkishtan. Emperor Kanishka was smart who believes in religious scriptures. Therefore, they used to give respect to the Buddhism and organise Buddhist sangiti. The picture of Lord Vishnu, Lord Shiva and Lord Buddha and other deities were inscribed on their coins. Huvishka and Vasudeva were the chivalric kings. They were follower of both the Lord Shiva and Lord Vishnu. (Indian History Kosh, Page 75, Hindi Committee Uttar Pradesh, Sachchidanand Bhattacharya)

Satavahana Empire

It’s the fourth largest empire which started many centuries before the Christ and ruled to the end of fifth century. Satavahana got married with Yavan. (History Of South India: Neelkanth Shashtri from 1 to 4, Mumbai 1962)

Malwa Empire

The great Malwa Empire is the fifth largest empire. Great emperor Kartavirya Arjuna and other emperors ruled for thousands of years. The branch of Malwa was known as Bhoj dynasty. It’s also mentioned in Mahabharata period. Later, Emperor Bhojraj was famous. (History and Culture of Indian People, Part 2, Chapter 11)

Great Emperor Vikramaditya

Vikramaditya was the great emperor whose empire was spread from west India to central India. It was larger than any state of Europe.

Malwa ruled a major part of India and its capital was Ujjaini. Yashodharman was the famous emperor in 6thcentury in Malwa dynasty. He defeated Mihirgul. There are two pillars of Yashodharma at Mandsor of Madhya Pradesh. According to which, after 600 years of great emperor Vikramaditya, he ruled from Brahmaputra to sea and from Himalaya to Mahendra Giri mountain.

Chola Emperor

This emperor ruled from south India to Sri Lanka from the beginning of century to 13th century. Chola emperor Rajendra I was very chivalric. He ruled from Bengal, Bihar, Odisha to Andaman Nicobar. Later, Vijaynagar empire was famous for Hindus. (Yadavas Through Ages, Part 1, Part 2)

Chalukya Empire

Chalukyas were the ancestors of chandravanshi kings of Ayodhya who made their capital at Vatapi. Emperor Pulakeshin I performed Ashwamedh yagya. There are many historical proofs for Chalukya empire. Lord Vishnu and Swami Kartikeya were their kul deity and ishta deity respectively. Twenty one Chalukya emperors were very famous and they ruled till beginning of 13th century. Twenty seven other emperors were in this dynasty.

Pandya, Pallav, Rashtrakut, Cher (Kerala) empire

There were also Pandya dynasty, Cher dynasty, Pallav dynasty and Rashtrakut dynasty. They were the parts of Maharaja Yayati. Chola, Cher, Kerala and Rashtrakut dynasty were in the branch of Turvush in the dynasty of Somvanshi. Shaka, Hun and Yavan were the dynasty of this branch. They ruled China, Mongolia, Yavan province, Russia, France, Germany, Rome and Spain for years.
There was Dradyu in the dynasty of Maharaj Yayati. He set up Gandhar state. Dyud purohit belongs to this dynasty. Dyud and Kelt ruled many states of Europe.
Pandya ruled from 6th  century BC to year 1378. Yavan travellers mentioned the state of Pandya and called them as ancestor of Lord Krishna. Turvasu and Yady are siblings.
Ancient Tamil Sangam Literature mentions about state of Pandya. After Megasthenes, yavan travellers Periplas and Talmi described about prosperity of state. Marcopolo too had visited the state twice in 13th century. Later, it was linked with Vijaynagar empire. It existed as Mysore till August 15, 1947.
Cher ruled Kerala. Talmi described about trade relation between Cher and Yavan. Chola dynasty ruled upto 2700 years. The inscription of Emperor Ashoka describes Chola state as free state. There were 25 other chivalric Chola emperors. (The Age of Emperial Unity: Rameshchandra Mazumdar, Chapter 15)

Other state of South India

Tashtrakut dynasty ruled a major part of south India from 736 year to 973 year. There were 14 valour emperors. Krishna I built Kailash Temple of Ellora. Emperor Dhruv defeated Gurjara Pratihara ruler Vatsraj. Fifth emperor Govind III ruled north India. It’s said that Arabic trader Suleman visited India. He had termed Amoghvarsh as one of the four greatest rulers in the world. Eighth ruler Indra III won Kannauj state. Rashtrakut built temple. (Neelkanth Shashtri earlier said)  

Great Kalchuri Empire

Kulchuri dynasty was also the great dynasty of India. They ruled around one third of India like Mahakaushal, Vindhya, Mahishmati, Narmada region, Malva, Maharashtra, Gujarat and Karnataka for thousands of years. The last emperor was Vijjhal. There was a great Kulchuri emperor Maharaj Gangeyadeva in 11thcentury. He got title of Vikramaditya.
He had friendly term with Maharaj Bhoj. They ruled Gorakhpur, Bahraich, Kushinagar and south Kaushal or Chhatishgarh. They got weakened in war with Chandel. (The Classical Age, Chapter 13-14, Mazumdar)

Hoysala Empire

They ruled Karnataka from 11thcentury to 14thcentury. They had enmity with Parmar emperor. Malik killed Hoysala emperor Ballal deceitfully. Later, this region became part of Vijaynagar empire. Alauddin lost mental balance and fell sick. After three years, he died. (Neelkanth Shashtri earlier said)

Vijaynagar Empire

Vijaynagar empire was spread under the leadership of Harihar and Bukka. It continued till 20th century. It was very prosperous empire. Great Swami Vidyaranya was the source of inspiration for this empire (Same).

Gang Empire 

They ruled a major part of Karnataka and Odisha from 2nd century to 11th century. Gang emperor’s minister Chamund Rai got built 56 ft high mammoth statue of Gomateshwara at Shravanabelagola in 10thcentury. There were 11 courageous emperors in Gang dynasty. Singhan Yadav ruled Odisha, Mysore and Gujarat in 13thcentury. Alauddin Khilji signed treaty with Emperor Ramchandra Dev and offered to pay a certain amount to the latter. He convinced Ramchandra Dev to fight with Kakatiya dynasty emperor Rudradev who later also signed treaty with Alauddin. It was a wise decision. (Same Neelkanth Shashtri). 

Got relief from sterility

I was suffering from sterility. I was not able to conceive. Therefore, I consulted the doctor who advised me that I have been suffering from fallopian tube blockage. I had lost the hope. Initially, I underwent allopathic treatment but the effort went in vain. Later, I started to take ayurvedic treatment at patanjali. I consulted Dr Monika Chauhan at patanjali OPD. I used stri rasayanvati, chandraprabha vati, raja parivartani vati, dashmularishta, patarangasav, dust of black til, dust of carrot seeds, carom seeds, dust of dry ginger. Yogasan and pranayam proved miracle for me. After three months of treatment, I have successfully conceived. I got a new light in my life.

Defeated tongue cancer

I am a resident of Bhuvneshwar in Odisha. I had been suffering from tongue cancer. After detected with cancer, I consulted doctors at Rajiv Gandhi Cancer Institute where I underwent radiation and chemotherapy. I was informed that I lost cancer cells. Later, these cells got revived. They infected liver.
Then, I consulted Dr SC Mishra at patanjali yogapeeth. He gave a new lease of life to me. He said that patanjali provides successful treatment of cancer. He advised me to use ayurvedic medicines, juice and ark. Apart from it, pranayam and yogasan proved beneficial to check the disease. Cancer tumor at tongue got destroyed. Now liver is in fully right position. According to health check up like liver function test and kidney function test, I defeated the cancer. Now, I am leading a fully healthy life.

Maharshi Atri, Kutsa, Vashishtha, Gautama, Angiras, Kapil, Kanad, Jaimini, Panini, Patanjali, Manu, Charak, Sushrut, Dhanvantari, Acharya Shankar, Maharshi Raman, Sri Arvind, Lord Buddha, Lord Mahavira, Swami Vivekanand, Maharshi Dayanand understood that ultimate. They wrote many holy scriptures for the welfare of the human beings.
The flow of river can’t be stopped, instead it can be changed. It has been in tradition for years. The saints and teachers are responsible for giving new direction to this. Yogarishi Param Pujya Swami Jee Maharaj took pledge for spreading yoga in the entire world. Swami Jee has come across crores of people through yoga. They have contributed in divine work. It will pave the way of world welfare. Shradheya Swami Jee advises people to do yoga at least one hour daily. He wishes that people of entire world must connect with yoga.

Yoga is essential for everybody. A healthy people must practice yoga to attain prosperity in their life. They can contribute in controlling disease in the world. Yoga plays an important role for the healthy people in getting prosperity in their life. Today yoga is instrumental behind great empire of patanjali.

Pujya Swami Jee Maharaj, the great brand ambassador of yoga, is going to provide yoga for the youths inspired with film world. They spend major time in watching TV serials and give no importance to the yoga. Swami Jee Maharaj says that despite having hectic schedule, the film stars do yoga to maintain fitness and get rid of tensions. Swami Jee starts doing exercise everywhere whether it’s news channel interview or other programmes.

The yoga needs to be glorified. The continuous glorification of anything affects the mind of audience.

Today, there is a perception that Swami Jee Maharaj can go to any extent for yoga campaign. It’s easy to flow in the current of river. But at the same time, it’s very difficult to flow in opposite direction of the river.

The path without obstacle has no meaning

The reason behind entire efforts is to glorify yoga. The people must be empowered with yoga power. They should aware of the benefits of yoga and encourage others to do the same. There is no secret agenda behind making yoga a public movement. It’s the result of world peace, world health and welfare of world.

Swami Jee Maharaj says that only those who have reduced their needs can pave the way for universal welfare.

Therefore, Pujya Maharaj Jee himself has no hobby. He needs no entertainment. His laborious life and enterprising stamina are the source of inspiration for the people.

The people are of view that the world gets distorted. In that condition what change the yoga will make? The sea wave also takes new direction. Therefore, the yoga is new medium.
Today, crores of youths have understood the demerits of modernity. They give priority to yoga in their life. Today, the world knows that only yoga brings success in the life of people. Therefore, do yoga to get desired success in the life. 

  The utility of philosophy has prominent place in the life of people in India. The history of Indian culture is the developed form of Indian philosophy. New thoughts have been poured in on the thoughtful land of India since time immemorial.

The philosophy is the flow of thought. It has been flowing in the entire country for thousands of years. It has been satisfying the seekers since time immemorial.

First of all, the human being had a glance at the existence and found the vivid diversity. The nature had started to play its role. There were many constellations and planets in the sky. The people were amazed at sun and the moon. There were green trees, forests, various types of birds and animals and fresh water in the river. They were curious to know its reality.

Maharshi Kapil pondered over it and presented the esoteric of nature before us. It has been known as sankhya philosophy which is also called as mokshashashtra. It defines the esoteric of materialism and spiritualism very logically. The sankhya philosophy defines the process of existence in the nature very easily and provides solution to irregularities in the nature. It also defines duties of the animals. It also focuses on the means to get rid of sorrow and bring prosperity in the life. The logical definition makes this holy scripture great. It’s full of nectar of Vedanta. The human being becomes immortal by drinking it. Vigyan  Bhikshu said that—

Sadkhyakulyah samapurya
Vedanamathitamritaih I

Kapilarshirgyanayaga rshinapayat pura II

It means that Mahamuni Kapil provided that nectar to saints.

Meaning of sankhya philosophy

‘Khya’ metal means knowledge. The suffix ‘sam’ has been linked in the word sankhya. It means that ‘to know without prejudice’.

The sankhya philosophy accepts two elements-male and nature. It means that to know the form of nature and male very well. It’s known as satvapurushanyatakhyati or nature male vivek khyati. It means that the world is made of two elements--nature and male which are pole apart. The nature is senseless, while the male experiences joy and sorrow. The word ‘sankhya’ means to understand the element in its original form. In the ancient shloka of Mahabharata – the indication of word ‘sankhya’ has been found-

Sankhyam prakurvate chaiva prakritim cha prachakshate I
Tatvani cha chaturvishattena sankhyah prakirtitah II

It means that those who define the nature mentions 24 elements and those who preach on knowledge are the proponent of sankhya scripture.

Many scholars are of view that sankhya scripture contains 24 elements and one male. Therefore is known as sankhya. As it was given in a sutra of the first chapter of this scripture—

Satvarajastamasam samyavastha prakritih
Prakritermahan mahatoahangkaroahnkarat panchatanmatrnyubhayamindriyam,
Tanmatrebhyah sthulabhutani purush iti panchavishatirganah II

The sutra mentions the number of 25 elements including irregularities in nature and male. However, on the basis of the number, it can be said as sankhya. It seems inappropriate to define it on the basis of number. Similarly, nyaya scripture mentions sixteen elements, while vaisheshik philosophy highlights six materials. Whatever goes is known as cow.

The word sankhya has been used in serious meaning. It has been mentioned. The sankhya means to know the nature and male in their original form.

Generally, when we have a glance at materialistic world, it looks like in good shape. But when we see ourselves, it gives illusion. Therefore, we understand either body as chetan or manas element as soul. Somebody refutes even the existence of soul.

The sankhya scripture aims at eradicating all these misconceptions.
