This year the birth anniversary of legendary Maratha Warrior Chhatrapati Shivaji on February 19 2021 is also a day which will always be remembered in history for this day Ayurved was established as an evidence based medicine. Most respected Union Minister Mr Nitin Gadkari and Mr Harshvardhan in the presence of Patanjali Research Institute chief scientist doctor Anurag and respected Aacharya Shri Balkrishna ji with the blessings of Almighty said that yoga and Ayurveda are no longer an authentic methods for treatment of diseases because now it has become and evidence based medicine treatment and Science and besides other more than 100 Ayurvedic medicines like chronil and Shastri Vati have been prepared after much research work and treatment at various levels. Research papers in this regard have been published in the top journals of the world and Divya Coronil and Shaayari are most most effective medicines of Corona for its prevention treatment and after effect of infection besides the effects during vaccination process. The vaccine is also a prevention at the same time there has been there has been no medicine for the treatment after colon infection but Ayurveda has got one in the form of Divya coronil. 
Besides Coronil we have also prepared Divya Peedail and Arthogrit for arthritis patients, Denguenil for dengue patients, Livogrit and Livamrit for advanced fatty liver , Crrhosis and hepatitis, Hridya mrit and Cardiogrit for Heart patients, Madhu nashili and Madhugrit for heart patients, BP grit and Muktavati for BP patients , Medhavati for Mental problems, Prstogrit for prostate, Neurogrit for brain and nervous system, Thyrogrit for thyroid , Lipidom for lipid, Lithom for stone, Cystogrit dimond for cancer, besides a long range of medicine like Kayakalp, Neem Giloy ghanvati etc which heralds a new era of Ayurveda. 

We have three big goals to be achieved- first is to find cure for Lifestyle related diseases, second how to cure chronic diseases, third to cure genetic disorders like blood pressure, blood sugar , thyroid heart and cancer and in the last three decades we have made it possible and now we have got to prepare scientific papers in this regard and our ground work has been complete it and final work is in the process and it will soon be gradually accomplished.

We will destroy the vicious circle created by the medical Mafia and drug Mafia and and make our country free from medical Anarchy and medical terrorism. Yoga treatment Yagya treatment ayurved and naturopathy are are beginning of a global historical journey and when the beginning is so terrific one can imagine what will be the result. Coronil emerged as a miraculous medicine during corona pandemic. The medicine mafia had put question mark on it. But the WHO has certified this medicine on the basis of authentic research conducted by Patanjali Research Institute. In the august presence of Pujya Swami Jee Maharaj and Shradheya Acharya Jee Maharaj, Union Health Minister Dr Harshvardhan and Union Road Transport and Shipping Minister Shri Nitin Gadkari declared it officially at the Constitution Club in New Delhi. Today is a historical day. Today is the anniversary of Virakt Shiromani Shivajee Maharaj Jee. Today is the day of global respect of yog-ayurved. Coronil is the evidence-based medicine which should be seen as research-based treatment. Ayurved is a treatment system apart form life system which needs to be seen as evidence-based research and experience medicine. Ayurved is linked with our sanatan system which has its own respect at global level. Today will be seen as respect of ayurved. Patanjali chose this occasion because today is the anniversary of Chhatrapati Shivajee Maharaj. Today, India is in a position to lead the world at global level in the health sector. India and every citizen of the world may become self-reliant. Today, the scientists have proved yog and ayurved at global level. We have gathered here to reestablish ayurved with scientific authenticity. Patanjali has so far published hundreds of research papers and invented various types of drugs for different diseases. We have also presented various types of yog exercises with scientific facts. We have also done an authentic work on diabetes, lifestyle diseases like BP, thyroid, obesity, non-communicable diseases, etc. First of all, we have manufactured dengunil seeking to check dengue as per the protocols and the parameters of modern medicine science. Then, we have manufactured coronil to check corona. With reference to corona, we have so far published nine research papers in top research journals in the world. Sixteen research papers are in the pipeline. Similarly, we have published hundreds of research papers about separate diseases. We had provided all the research papers last time when we had organized conference. We have already apprised of this. We have compiled research papers to make it a great scripture. As our ved has 20, 000 richa, similarly, the research papers have entire data. Now, we would like to come to today’s reference. When we provided lease of life to lakhs of people through coronil, shwasari, anu oil, many people raised question that whether it has followed scientific parameters or not. Some people think that research work can be done only in abroad. They start expressing doubt in the research work in ayurved. We have removed the doubt.

Following protocol of corona, we have saved life of people through coronil, shwasari, anu oil and encouraged crores of people in the country. I don’t want to establish struggle of any pathy with reference to corona. India has better recovery rate than that of any country in the world. The crores of people recovered from corona. Modern Science as well as Ancient Science has played an important role in it. The people got rid of it through practising yog, ayurved, etc. They were practising bhastrika, kapalbhati, anulom-vilom, surya namaskar, etc. The crores of people were consuming kadha, kasaya, quath, etc. They made a new record. Today, I invite respected Harshvardhan Jee and Shri Gadkari Jee to release these two booklets.

This is a matter of pride for this country that for the first time at global level, Union Health Minister Harshvardhan Jee is elected to Chairman of Governing Council of the WHO. India is leading the WHO. He has considered health as service. Even after having been appointed as Union Minister, Harshvardhan considered himself fortunate enough in providing service to the patients. We are witnessing the important moment presided over by Dr Harshvardhan Jee. Shri Nitin Gadkari is the chief guest on the occasion. The lifestyle of Gadkari Jee is highly skilled. His style of functioning in road transport is being witnessed everywhere in the country. Lakhs of kilometer of road has been built in the country under his shrewd leadership. We have all the research papers of medicine manufactured under scientific protocol regarding corona. A total of nine research papers have already been published in international journals and 16 are in the pipeline.

Today’s press conference has three objectives. We aim at following protocol of scientific research innovation invention apart from scientific protocol to give global recognition to yog and ayurved as evidence-based medicine treatment. We aim at establishing a sustainable health and yog-ayurved Indian lifestyle in the world. India and every citizen of the world may become self-reliant in the health sector. We have made effort to proceed with ancient knowledge of research-based treatment for corona and various other diseases. Four years ago, when Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi had visited here to inaugurate Patanjali Research Institute, then he had said that he considered yog and ayurved as evidence-based practice and medicine. We have completed many phases of it. Dr Harshvardhan Jee had laid foundation stone of the Patanjali Research Institute. We are also obliged to him for this. Today, that institution turned into a huge research institute. A great historical work is being done. I would like to urge both the guests to shower blessings.

I am glad that Pujya Acharya Balkrishna Jee Maharaj and Pujya Swami Ramdev Jee Maharaj have set up a huge research institute for conducting research in yog science and ayurved. We say that knowledge is a great strength of future. Often, I repeat two things- (1) Innovation, entrepreneurship, science and technology, research and successful practices, knowledge and (2) conversion of knowledge into wealth. This is the future of our country. Therefore, our ancient tradition like yog science and ayurved can give a new direction to the entire world. We fail to gauge its importance while staying in India. whenever you will visit Germany and talk to German, you will see more research about ayurved there. Then we find that it’s the need of the hour to conduct research on ayurved, give certification to it after approving. Therefore, we have respect, affection, reverence, etc towards Pujya Swami Jee. Earlier, royalty of household items was going to foreign countries. He manufactured those products as a better alternative. He played an important role in popularizing modern products based on indigenous thoughts in India and abroad. The people started reposing faith in ayurved. Therefore, we witness respected Swami Jee as a great ambassador of our Indian culture, history, heritage, ayurved, yog, science, etc. That’s why, a consciousness has arisen in the entire world whether it is yogasan or yog or science or pranayama or kapalbhati, etc. Today, the entire world is following it. It’s true that nobody will get respect without miracle. When the people experienced all these things, then they have accepted. We would like to thank Acharya Balkrishna Jee Maharaj for conducting research in the Medical Science. Over 300 scientists have played an important role in developing coronil related to ayurved. When I watched Acharya Balkrishna Jee, then I found that his personality is to conduct successful study of anything. And, I have been a management student. Our structure is based on exhortation, research and development. Pujya Swami Jee does the work of exhortation as well as training. Acharya Balkrishna Jee is committed to conduct research and development. The scientists are striving hard to set up world class scientific laboratory. Apart from it, they are publishing scientific report in the world’s top journals. They do research and development work. For this, they have formed a particular team and he himself monitors it. I think that whenever ayurved medicines will get certification and recognition and scientific laboratory will come on the conclusion then nobody will hold debate on it. For this, I would like to thank Pujya Swami Jee. So far, we used to consume ayurved medicines due to faith and benefit. Now, he published research papers of it after doing scientific analysis. For this, we would like to say that this is the best result of it. Its authenticity will increase through experiments conducted in the scientific laboratory. Allopathy, ayurvedic, homoeopathic, unani, etc are prominent in the country. And, it’s the need of the hour to conduct research in these sectors. I had convened a meeting at my home four-five days ago. Many scientists working under sheer guidance of Dr Harshvardhan Jee were participated in the meeting which aimed at making India prosper in the next 10 years through lithium-ion battery. Electric vehicle, electric bike, electric auto rickshaw, electric bus, electric tractor, etc have been developed as an alternative to petrol, diesel, etc. How can it be prepared? How can these Indian scientists work on the basis of their research? Then I found that 85 percent part of lithium-ion battery is manufactured in India. I presented a proposal before them to make prices of petrol car, diesel car, petrol bike, scooter and electric car, electric bike, bus, etc equivalent in next two years. When I asked them, they ensured me to do it. They said that there is no dearth of scientists in the country. We need to support them and provide better facility to them. Today, over 300 scientists are working hard under sheer guidance of Pujya Swami Jee Maharaj and Pujya Acharya Jee Maharaj. Today’s programme is being organized on the research being conducted at Patanjali. The countrymen will get immense benefit of it. I would like to thank Pujya Swami Jee and Acharya Jee for doing this work scientifically. I offer prayer to them. I am glad that they presented scientific basis of it before the people. Certainly, their belief will get boosted. Patanjali has given a new direction in the health sector. For this, I am obliged to them. I would like to thank them. Research work of international level is already done. Patanjali may proceed with such research work so that this institution can give direction to the many people in India and abroad. I hope that Patanjali may conduct such research work in the future. I would like to thank Acharya Balkrishna Jee, Dr Anurag Jee and his colleagues.

We started clinical control trial of corona medicine through continuous research on ancient vedic knowledge in the light of modern science at NIMS. Therefore, we are obliged to Dr Tomar and NIMS for providing an opportunity to conduct a clinical control trial. Therefore, the journey of coronil, shvasari, anu oil, etc began. Earlier it was said that once someone gets infected with Hepatitis- A, B, C, fatty liver, liver psoriasis, he won’t be tested negative. Such patients were tested negative through livogrit and livamrit. I have consulted Dr Sarin twice-thrice. He was Asia fame liver specialist doctor. He asked Swami Jee that he didn’t see such people getting tested negative. First of all, hepatitis patient was treated by Dr Bharati, Ramkrishna Mission around 25 years ago. We have no infrastructure for animal trial, human trial, drug discovery, etc. It was beyond imagination of setting up research center accommodating over 300 scientists, providing them salary and other facilities, spending crores of rupees. After the departure of Dr Harshvardhan Jee and Gadkari Jee, Shradheya Acharya Jee will apprise you of entire cycle of drug discovery including pre-clinical, post-clinical trial of in-vitro, in-vivo to human trial mentioned in this booklet. Dengunil, piranil, orthogrit, livamrit, cardiogrit, systogrit and various other medicines are the long series. We feel pride for presenting research work before all of you. Shri Gadkari Jee has been showering blessings as a guardian for setting up of Patanjali Yogpeeth. He may shower such affection on me. Union Health Minister is present here. We are proud of him. Dr. Harshvardhan Jee
Around 27 years ago when I got an opportunity of serving the people of Delhi as Health Minister, I thought of establishing ayurved in the entire world with light of scientific approach. The reason behind it is that we know the entire knowledge of ayurved is accommodated in the Atharvaved. It has all the information contained in Charak and Shushrut Sanhita. It’s internationally recognized data. In the sixth century, it has been translated into Chinese language, in the ninth century, it has been translated into Persian and Arabic language. From 12th century to 17thcentury, it has been translated into European language. It has been misfortune for India that India’s traditional Indian medicinal system during the British era had to be recognized in the world. It should have been advertised. India had to wait for freedom to recognize ayurved. I went through this deeply. Therefore, ‘Delhi Research Centre for Modernize Promotion of Ayurveda’ headed by Prof JN Sharma HOD, Pharmacology, AIIMS was formed. Delhi Research Centre for Modernize Promotion of Ayurveda aimed at providing entire knowledge about ayurved digitally about which we are discussing today and Patanjali Research Institute is working. But unfortunately, our government collapsed in 1998.

The subsequent government made no effort in this regard. After the death of Prof JN Sharma, the center got deviated from its path. In 1999, the WHO invited me to work for its organization in South East Asian countries. I would like to present some facts of those times. On November, 1, 2, 3, in the year 2000, the prestigious center of WHO is situated at Kobe in Japan where three days meeting ‘Health and Welfare System Development for 21st Century’ was held. A total of 125 representatives of the world participated in the meeting. Two Indian representatives also took part in it. A lot of discussions were held in the meeting where a book was also released. It is known as Kobe Recommendation which mentions about health and welfare system development in India and abroad in 21st century. I would like to portray two important things in today’s context. These two things have related to Swami Ramdev Jee. In the recommendation of meeting held in 2000, it was said that if India or the world has to attain the goal of ‘Health for All’ in 21stcentury, Patanjali Yogpeeth will play an important role in it. Its another recommendation was to focus on preventive health, promotive health and positive health through traditional medicines in India and other countries. In the 21st century, the entire world has to play a major role in this regard. This was a part of its recommendation. Kobe based research centre plays an important role in framing policy for the WHO which provides them to the states through its members. Whatever ayurved is available today, has recognition in the WHO. The various countries like Australia, New Zealand, Columbia, Cuba, Mauritius and our neighbours like Bangladesh, Nepal, Sri Lanka, China, etc have implemented ayurved system as regular medicine system in the line of India. They have recognized it. It means that ayurved has global recognition. You know that earlier WHO Director General Dr Tedros made a phone call to Prime Minister of India and said that the institution wants to set up the largest comprehensive knowledge and research based ayurved center, which can disseminate ayurved related information in the world, in India. Today, the WHO has initiated work to set up global ayurved center here in India. I would like to mention one thing that Dr Huton who was the Regional Director of WHO (South East Asia Region) passed away. I am talking about 90’s decade when I was Health Minister of Delhi and he himself was the doctor of modern medicine system. He took retirement from the WHO. Earlier, he wrote an important book ‘Role of Ayurveda for the Modern World’ in which, he shared his personal knowledge about ayurved and experience about working with WHO healthcare system for whole world. Anybody can put a question mark on ayurved biasedly. But at the same time, ayurved has made its presence felt in everywhere right from ved, to purana, etc. It’s also available on the Wikipedia. In 1906, Harvilas Sharda Jee published a book named ‘Hindu Superiority’ according to which, many foreigners mention about ayurved and India’s traditional medicines. Therefore, I would like to ask the audience to remove doubts regarding utility and authenticity of ayurved and its role of healthcare system in treating the patients. I am glad to inform that when I became Union Health Minister in 2014, I got an opportunity to lay foundation stone of Patanjali Research Institute at Haridwar and later Honourable Prime Minister dedicated it to the countrymen. In that time, Pujya Swami Jee had said that this institution should realize the Prime Minister’s dream of presenting ayurved with scientific approach to the world. In the same year, Modi Jee carved out Ayush Ministry. When I was again made Union Health Minister after six months, I set up country’s first National Ayush Mission. Swami Jee and the government have similar dreams. Today, I am glad that at the one hand, Patanjali Yogpeeth conducted research for prevention and treatment in corona period, on the other, he will do presentation for it today. We were facing huge challenge. However, the entire world accepts that ayurved is effective. But when we will present it with modern scientific tool, then nobody will challenge it. Acharya Balkrishna Jee Maharaj is a great scholar. I have gone through many books written by him. In the corona period, Union Ayush Ministry conducted 109 types of study at 140 places in India. Out of which, 39 studies and 32 studies were done on profile excess and treatment respectively. I went through results of pre-clinical studies and observational studies. It gave every type of encouraging and positive result. In the corona period, ayurved became famous in the country and abroad. It needs no certification. If we study it technically, we find that its marketing is around Rs 30, 000 crore in India. According to authentic data, it witnessed 15-20 percent annual growth. But, it’s data of pre-corona era. But in the post-corona era, its growth rate jumped to 50-90 percent. It shows the fact that how did the people of India and abroad accept ayurved? It's a great achievement of ayurved in the field of export and foreign direct investment. I congratulate Acharya Balkrishna Jee Maharaj who has conducted research under sheer guidance of Pujya Swami Ramdev Jee Maharaj. It’s a matter of pride for India that he has played a tremendous role in reestablishing ayurved in the world through modern and scientific approach. He aims at providing welfare for the people in the world.

At last, I would like to say two-three sentences. I have held discussion with many health ministers of India. Today, I feel pride after sharing dais with Dr Harshvardhan Jee. Earlier, on the many occasions, the health ministers used to talk about allopathy. I have also sympathy with allopathy. There are various aspects of life saving drugs. There is no competition in the healthcare. The society needs harmony. Similarly, various pathy also needs harmony. We should feel pride on ourselves. Why should we hate our individuality? If we continue to consume shwasari, coronil, anu oil, etc for prevention of corona, we will overcome of it after few days. Many companies manufacture medicines for trade and business. We manufacture no medicine for trade. We have made medicines for treating the patients. If we share data of last 30 years and valuate the difference of its price, the country got benefit worth Rs 10,000 crore. If moti pishti’s market price is Rs 300, we provided it at the price of Rs 30. Similarly, the other companies were selling shankh prada, mukta shukti and avipattikar churn and all types of juice, chemical, bhasm, pishti, avaleh, pak, ets at 5-10 times more price than that of ours. We consider this country as our family. Dr Harshvardhan Jee is the Chairman of the Governing Council of WHO. I dream of doing hard work in the field of ayurved and yog for next 30 years so that the WHO can shift its headquarters to India. At the one hand, India is on the path of becoming self-reliant nation and on the other, is it not possible for the World Bank, the IMF and the UNO shifting their headquarters here in India? The world is transforming and the context is changing with passage of time. Today, we are proud that our two Union Ministers discussed not only about an institution and a brand but also about our refinement and heritage of tradition. I am obliged to them for supporting and showering blessings on heritage of yog and ayurved. Once again, I am heartily obliged to them. 

The kumbh is believed to be related to deity-demon conflict. As the Mahabharata and Purana describe that the deities go to Lord Vishnu and desire for getting prosperity through Lord Brahma after getting frustrated in the battle with demons. Consequently, Lord Vishnu directed them to churn an ocean of milk along with demons. He said to them that they will get nectar in the churning of ocean of milk. You will drink it to get rid of the terror of demons. As per the plan, Mandarachal and Shesh Nag were made mathani and rope respectively.
First of all, venom is extracted through churning. It starts to spread everywhere. Havoc is wrecked in the entire world. Ultimately, Lord Shiv drinks it after getting delighted over prayers offered by deities and protects them from its adverse effect in the form of Nilkanth. After that, Kamdhenu gets created. Brahmavadi rishi grasped it for the purpose of agnihotra. After Kamdhenu, a horse named Uchhaihshrava was born. The demons took it. After Uchhaihshva, an elephant named Eravat got created. Indra adopted it. After that, Kaushtubh Mani was born. Lord Vishnu himself took it, whereas the deities adopted parijat and apsara. After apsara, Rama is born. She follows Lord Vishnu. After Rama, Varuni is born. She favours demons.
After Varuni, Dhanvantari is born. Holding a bowl full of nectar in his hand, he appears. The demons take the bowl full of nectar in their hands. But at the same time, they engaged in scuffle. Consequently, the bowl moves from one hand to another. The demons fail to decide as to who will possess the nectar? On this occasion, Lord Vishnu appears as Mohini. Having enamoured with her beauty, the demons entrusted her with the task of nectar distribution. Lord Vishnu was not in favour of demons drinking nectar. Therefore, he makes deities drink nectar. When a demon in pseudo form sitting in a queue drinks the nectar, he cuts the demon's head under indication of the sun and the moon. His head and body turn into Rahu and Ketu. Both of them become eclipses for the sun and the moon.

The deities drank entire nectar kept in the bowl. Therefore, they turned immortal. But earlier, wherever some drops of nectar fell, turned into great pilgrimages. These pilgrimages include Prayag, Haridwar, Nasik and Ujjain where kumbh is organized in the gap of three years. It’s not only a historical tradition but also based on the condition of the zodiac in astrology. There is an incarnation of nectar-bowl in the yog of zodiac. On the one hand, the knower gets success through firm determination. He gets synchronized with the ultimate god and feels ultimate bliss. Such bliss has been termed as honey, som, nectar, etc in the Ved.
The concept of this nectar-bowl forces us to turn towards the Ved. If we think with this approach, we will find that in the famous aghamarshan sukta of the Ringved, it has been said that first of all rit and truth were born through tapa of creator. Later, the night was originated through rit and truth then sea was born through that night—

Ritam cha satyam chabhiddhattapasoadhyajayat I
Tato ratrayajayata tatah samudro arnavaha II Ri. 10 I190 I1

If tapa is symbol of aparimeya sisriksha and night is symbol of atma-vilayan of sisriksha, then sea represents that immense power which becomes the very basis of that advanced creation. Another sukta of the Ringved mentions about sadyah jat deities playing in the sea and disintegration of water particles—

Yaddeva adah salile suranrabdha atishthata I
Atravo nrityatamiva tivro renurapayat II Ri 10 172 16

Because the demon is the son of Prajapati, therefore it’s natural for him to participate in these water sports. This sea must contain good and bad elements as upadan expressed about creator-trade. This has been made clear in another mantra of the Ringved that both truth and untruth are found in the birth of daksh and lap of aditi in the ultimate universe—

Asachcha sachch parame vyoman dakshasya janmannaditerupasthe I

According to aghamarshan sukta, this sea gives birth to sanvatsar which gives birth to the ahoratra, the sun and the moon and ultimately the sky, the earth and the universe—

Suryachandramasau dhata yathapurvakalpayat I

If according to mythology, if Shri and Rama take birth through churning of ocean of milk and Rama becomes wife of Vishnu, then according to the Ringved, Adya Vagdevi terms sea as her birth place from where they along with other deities roam, foster creation and kill its enemies—

Aham suve pitaramasya murdhan I
Mama yonirapsvantah samudre I

Tato vitishthe bhuvananu vishvotamum dyam varshpavopasprishami II Ri. 10 I125 I7

Therefore, it becomes easy to understand vedic form of venom created through churning of ocean of milk. This venom has been called kalkut which means zenith of time. Time is the symbol of samvatsar of the Ringved. Samvastar was born through the sea. It was samvatsar which gave birth to day and night and the sun and the moon. In fact, it is time which accelerates the creation process. It’s the reason behind continuous change, transformation, disintegration and demolition. It plays an important role in expansion of the creation and demolition. Due to its killer instinct, it has been called ‘death’. The world is made of both stability and mobility. The country and time symbolize stability and mobility respectively. Both the elements play an important role in the smooth functioning of the world. But when the movement of time gets intensified, then the death is nothing but aconite. As the Purana mentions that aconite savatsar originated through churning starts moving and creates fear everywhere. It’s the nature of unintegrated time. Nectar and death are the two feathers of the creator. This statement has been made in the famous hiranmaya sukta of the Ringved according to which, the ultimate god is worshiped for providing havish whose jaya is present as nectar form in one side and as death in another side.

As far as sea's relation with nectar is concerned, it has been described in a mantra of Nidarjan Rishi Vamdev that how does madhumayi urmi erupt from sea and how does she get nectar from through som. It includes secret name of ghee which is the tongue of deities and navel of nectar—

Samudradurmirmadhuman udardupashuna sma mritatvamanat I
Dhritasya nama guhyam jihva devanamamritasya nabhih II   Ri. 4 I58 I2

It’s the same aadya sea through which madhumayi urmi develops as a creation process. This gets nectar in the particular place through som. It also takes the shape of fire through a particular place and grasps nectar in the form of tongue of deities.
Another mantra of the Ringved of som makes it clear that Rishi speaks that he drinks nectar. We become nectar, we have attained the ultimate goal and realized the deities—

Apam somamamrita abhumaganm jyotiravidam devan I
Ri. 8I48I3

But this is not a materialistic som extracted from somalata. It’s deeply related to the ultimate knowledge. Rishi says that—

Somam manyate papivan yatsanpishantyosh dhim I
Somam yam brahmano vidurna tasyamshnati kashchan II   Ri. 10 I84 I3

The ultimate knowledge is the knowledge originated from unification of known and knowable. On the one hand, the knower attains the ultimate goal and gets rid of all the irregularities present in him through firm determination. He starts getting synchronized with the ultimate and bliss. The bliss getting through this realization has been termed as honey, som and nectar in the Ved. The Upanishad says that ‘it’s knowledge which brings nectar’—

Vidyaamritamashnute I  Ishop. 11

It hints at this knowledge. The Brihadaranyak Upanishad says that ‘let me move from untruth to truth, let me move from ignorance to light, let me move from death to nectar—

Asato ma sadgamaya tamaso ma jyotirgamaya
Mrityormaamritam gamaya I  Brihadaranyakopanishad 1.3.28

There are three dimensions of unknowledgeable condition like untruth, darkness and death. Similarly, truth, light and nectar are the indications of knowledgeable condition. The consciousness of harmony of the ultimate power helps us move from untruth to truth, darkness to light and death to nectar. Light and nectar are closely related with eye and enjoyment. In the Ishopanishad, both the symbols are unified and a golden bowl is imagined. It contains ‘truth’—

Hiranmayena patrena satyasyapihitam mukham I
Tat tvam pushannapavrinu satyadharmaya drishtaye II Iso Pan. 15

The Ved describes continuous competitions and struggles among deities and demons. The deities favour truth, justice and welfare, while demons support untruth, injustice and demolition. Indra and Vrit function as heroes of both the stakeholders. The deities are on the verge of defeat in these struggles. In this condition, the God extends support in the favour of truth and justice to ensure their victory. It’s clearly shown in the great declaration of the Ved ‘satyameva jayate nanritam I
The continuous struggle among deities and demons and churning of ocean of milk by them clearly hint at the uninterrupted dialectic of the world. In this condition, it becomes mandatory for truth stakeholder that he must cooperate with untruth stakeholder because struggle will continue due to equal power between both of them but at the same time, there will be no desirable development.
As the ultimate truth, rajas and tamogun from unexpressed to the earth are found in the element and all the stages of its development through the Sankhya Darshan, similarly deity-demon conflict, churning of ocean of milk and nectar-bowl are mentioned in every aspect of the creation. Difference is that it’s available in abundance and scanty in the elemental stage and the developmental stage respectively. Therefore, it’s not impossible for the element of nectar in the ultimate power to appear in a particular place in the series of dialectical speed. It's a clear fact that lakhs and crores of people from entire country have been gathering on the occasion of the festival of kumbh for thousands of years, while facing various difficulties. They have been getting immense bliss by taking bath in the shivering cold. The people have been visiting the world’s largest congregation kumbh without any invitation and attraction, while facing inflicting pain. It's evidence of the blissfulness of this festival.
Apart from the outer look, there is also an internal look of the kumbh. The possibility of this internal look of the kumbh is based on the equation of object and the universe. According to Upanishads, on the one hand, the creator has given birth to the world through self-expansion, on the other, it has given rise to inflicting pain through self-entrance in the briefness of that world and as that brief stage. Due to the presence of the creator in the inner soul, every individual can affect the entire universal creation. Creation Science proposed by vedik rishi is the result of this inner experience. Under which, saints and seekers have experienced deity-demon conflict, churning of ocean of milk and getting nectar through conducting spiritual research on good habits and bad habits present in their inner soul.

Historical approach

History of origin and ancientry of kumbh festival is unclear due to unavailability of evidence. The devotees are of the view that aadyashankaracharya was the torchbearer of kumbh festival. It’s said that as he set up four dhams, similarly, he organized a kumbh festival in four pilgrimages. Shankaracharya played an important role in giving proper direction to the Hindu religion. It can also be accepted that he used to organize a kumbh festival regularly. But it doesn’t mean that no kumbh was organized before Shankaracharya. Shankaracharya Jee was the torchbearer of it. Various evidence makes it clear that the history of the kumbh festival is highly ancient. Many evidences and indications hint at its organization before Shankaracharya. Certainly, it’s not clear, but its definition with reference to ancient is the very basis of ancientry of kumbh festival. First of all, Hiuen Tsang’s journey gives a description of its organization in the ancient era. It doesn’t mention the kumbh festival. But many facts of the description indicate that the people used to organize the kumbh festival here. The people residing for a long time on the confluence of the Ganga, the Yamuna and the Saraswati, people residing at various places in the country visiting here, presence of various cults, tradition of donation and use of particular places for organization, etc hint at this direction. It needs to be debatable that at what limitation this tradition can be said true through Chinese Buddhist traveler’s journey and to what extent its description in Chinese language presents its true sense. It was organized at the gap of five years in Prayag. An attention needs to be paid that there is a tradition of six-years kumbh at Haridwar and Prayag, while 12-years kumbh at other places. Clearly, Hiuen Tsang and his contemporary writers got into the illusion in understanding 12-years kumbh due to six-years kumbh. The important fact in this description is that the tradition of this organization was termed as highly ancient which was followed by many kings.
In fact, organization of mahakumbh at four main spiritual, cultural and religious places like confluence of the Ganga, the Yamuna and the Saraswati and sacred banks of the Bhagwati Ganga, the Godavari and the Shipra like Prayag, Haridwar, Nasik and Ujjain reminds us about four Ved. It’s an expression of four dham set up for unity and integrity of nation by Jagadguru Shankaracharya. It’s a spiritual and glorious experience of rishi, acharya and philosopher. It presents an enormous form of sadhana, austerity and diversity of mahakumbh saints. It gives an impression of the hugeness of the Himalaya, deepness of the sea and ultimate purity and sacredness of the Bhagwati Bhagirathi, the Yamuna, the Godavari and the Shipra. It’s the world’s huge organization where crores of devotees visit without any invitation. The people rejoice after seeing the unique coincidence of astrologers and religious saints. Given enormous respect, faith, emotion, love, affection, dedication and spiritualism of the festival, we can say that unity, integrity and spiritualism of India will remain intact until the organization of the kumbh. 

Indian valour expressed in its all the traditional forms against terrorist Britishers. Our religious scriptures mention various forms of valour mainly religious personalities, warriors and donors. We see Indian valour in all the forms.
Valour is an inherent part of culture. In the Christian culture, silent suffering and proselytization, cruelty, etc are known as valour. In the Islam, making Muslim to non-Muslim forcefully is known as valour. Valour has great space in India and it’s defined with universal rules. War, sacrifice, donation, dedication, etc for the best aim and work are called valour. The great warrior, donor and ascetic are called valour here in India.
In the Indian tradition, it’s superstition and foolishness to say that the God is not omnipresent, limited to a particular place and listen through a particular mediator. Waging war and losing life for it is called foolish work. But in the medieval period in Europe and Arabic region, the difference between ‘my God’, ‘your God’, ‘my worship’ and ‘your worship’ became the reason behind scuffle. This anger was called light. Such superstition enveloped many centuries.
Thought of emancipation from medieval Christian superstitions spread in European countries after coming in contact with China and India. Because the priests had advertised that the entire world except their own region is filled with darkness and ignorance. The ghost created fear among the sailors at the coastal region in the sea. But when Marco Polo returned there after getting gifts from Indian emperors and apprised the people of China and India of huge states and highly civilized. He said that India has enough papers, writings, manuscripts, script, highly developed arms and ammunitions, authentic geographical maps, watches and medical system. Later, renaissance and enlightenment started to spread in many countries through manuscripts of memoir of Marco Polo. Slowly, the labourers heard these stories from prosperous people. Consequently, many courageous people embarked on sea journey in small boats.
Some of them had heard from priests that the Bible mentions a prosperous country named Indi which has abundant gold and prosperity. Therefore, many people after getting permission from their landlords started their journey. Because there was a danger of getting capital punishment for going far places without taking permission. Many people died on this journey. Very few people reached here. Out of them, Columbus and Vasco Da Gama could reach seashore through blessings of American and Indian sailors and traders.
Such courageous sailors were experts in looting and sea robbery. Therefore, Dutch, French, Portuguese and British indulged in scuffle. They used to call the robbery a trade.
In the beginning of 18th century, the brutal workers of East India Company got permission to do trade in Mumbai, Chennai and Kolkata. Earlier, in 17th century, Dutch, Portuguese and British indulged in scuffle at Surat. The British company got permission from regional prosperous people to do business at Surat deceitfully. After some time, Thomas Roe got more trade facilities for the companies through the sycophancy of Jahangir. They started to construct smaller durg with stones at various places. These durgs were like huts in comparison to sprawling buildings of Indian emperors. Similarly, they were smaller traders for thousands of rich businessmen. Therefore, nobody paid attention to it.
In the beginning, they used to exchange smaller factories to each other as dowry and tips. A British Prince got such a small islet in Mumbai on the occasion of his marriage with Portuguese Princes. He got constructed a fort there. The prince gave his fort to the company on hire. The company got constructed it as a town in Mumbai.
In the end of 17th century, a servant of the company Job Charnock fulfilled sexual desire and property desire of a nawab of Bengal and settled Sutanuti and Kolkata villages in the marshy region of Ganga. Because prosperous traders and citizens didn’t allow them to settle there. By indulging in sycophancy of prosperous people and jagirdars, they started to make their presence felt in 18th century. They got many rights for trade deceitfully during the fighting between two nawabs at Palasi. Since, there was no prosperous state in England, therefore they started to call the area in India as their own in line with England. The fact was that they were not the jagirdars in 18th century. Since then, they were like washermen, barbers, household servants, etc.
They promised to provide security to various nawabs and recruited Indian troops for them. They started to run security companies. They themselves used to call ‘sepoy’ and later they started to term them as Indian ‘army’. They started to collect various information regarding emperors and nawabs deceitfully and get awards. They started to get permission from nawabs and Hindu emperors to recruit Indians in their battalions. Meanwhile, the Maratha used to rule a major part of India and Hindu Vijayanagar empire and several other nawabs would rule in South. In North, Rajput and Sikh used to rule. But the company used to publicize that they rule the major part of India. The fact is that till the beginning of 19th century, there were three smaller parts of East India Company- (1) some villages of Bengal, (2) around Chennai and (3) in Mumbai. First of all, they themselves dedicated themselves to the security of Mughal empire in Delhi. Then they started to publicize themselves as ‘guardian’ of Mughal deceitfully.
Till then, neither Britain became a modern nation state nor India came into existence. Therefore, the emperors of India were busy expanding their boundaries and they were taking service of battalions of company. Because, they considered the power of company not more than that of servant. That’s why, in the era before Bankim Chandra Chattopadhyaya, Bengal was concerned over security of Hindu from Muslim terrorists. For this, the sanyasis were ready to fight with. In great scripture ‘Aanandmath’, Bankim Chandra has included immortal song ‘Vande Mataram’ which gives inspiration of safety from Muslim. It is a song of commitment. Clearly the Britishers were not the danger to Indian people till the first half of 19th century.
But in Bengal, the Britishers started to show themselves as terror power soon. Therefore, after some time, a consciousness appears regarding it. If we go through Bengali novels, the status of Britishers was poor since the beginning of 19th century. The gentlemen used to hate the behaviour of Britishers. But the spiritual misconceptions developed due to lack of spirituality among the people suffering from Muslim brutality. They considered the arrival of Britishers as the power to eliminate Muslims. In 19th century, Brahmo Samaj Movement erupted in Bengal due to this poor spirituality. Later, this movement got divided into three parts.
During which, many spiritual scholars started to expand their spiritual movements at many places in India. Out of these great scholars, Maharshi Dayanand holds a prominent place. He diversified reverence towards the Ved. Many intellectuals of Bengal and other places got attracted to the Britishers due to some spiritual misconceptions. Affection for knowledge arising out after the darkness of many centuries in England and Europe was also the reason behind it. The East India Company continued to grow due to this and started to hatch conspiracy against their patron to unseat them.
It was the era of Hindu-Muslim confrontation and internal tension. Therefore, Rajput and Dogra troops started fighting against Maratha and Sikh respectively and they supported the Britishers due to a sense of deep separation with the Muslims. Similarly, jats and other groups did so in many places. After knowing that the Britishers are sin and mean, the valour movement started to flush out Britishers. But when no internal conflict ended among the kings due to non-completion of ‘nation state’, the Britishers made political intervention in India in 1857-58. For this, they made a treaty with 525 kings and nawabs including 42 huge states and 73 middle states and remaining other smaller states. Britishers used to rule no state. However, these kings ensured them for security.
On November 1, 1858, Queen Victoria made a treaty and declared to keep East India Company limited to a particular area by making no intervention in the internal matters of the kings. Victoria made it clear that my nephew Curzon will be the first Viceroy of India. According to British records, general manager of the company has been termed as the general manager of East India Company. Nowhere, it has been mentioned as governor general of India. In fact, the Britisher was never the governor general of the entire India. For the first time, Mountbatten became the governor general of the entire India on August 15, 1947 with support and request of the Congress. Many intellectuals forget this fact. Clearly, East India Company was not the company of valour. It was the company of deceivers, looters, smugglers and robbers. Therefore, Indians had to show no valour against them. On many occasions, they termed Indian troops as their own and dispatched them on battlefield deceitfully. The Britishers were the reasons behind fighting between Indian kings. Therefore, time of Indian valour regarding battle came in 1857 when it became clear that the mean people of the company want to distort the religion of Indians. As per their declaration, had the people of company behaved with good manners and obligation, they would have been doing business even today in India and many of them would have intermingled in India. Given the enormous history of India, the people should not forget this fact.
After 1858, the Indians started to gauge that the Christian Britishers have dishonesty in their mind. They were trying to christianize India. Then movement started to move out deceitful and outer groups from India. But it became too late and misconception spread in the country. They became very powerful with support of Indians at many places. Therefore, on many occasions, word chaturya helped in this movement of moving out them from India. After 1947, no Indian needed to repeat the word chaturya. Therefore, it’s wrong to call Britishers as the then ruler of India. It’s proper to call them outer and unknown terrorists who ruled India deceitfully. Those who fail to say this have knowledge of neither international law nor Indian historical tradition. It’s the need of the hour to say that we moved out outer and unknown terrorists through various forms of valour. Therefore, it’s wrong to term a part of this movement as freedom movement. Moreover, no movement brings freedom in any country in the world. It’s war which brings freedom for the country. It’s received through coordinated experimentation of various forms of war. But in fact, India was not a slave. However, outer and unknown sinner groups succeeded in ruling a part of the country with support of many Indian kings. Every nation in the world presents its history as such.
It becomes clear that inspiration of religion was the reason behind Britishers committing sin in India. Therefore, it was a sin full of spiritual disorder. Therefore, a proper spiritual effort could retaliate. Those who became unaware of this basic fact by studying at London and other Christian places term them with indigenous and foreign words. The Britishers being the outer was not the real problem. Devoid of knowledge of sanatan religion and indulging in Christianity were the reasons behind it. It gave inspiration of meanness, sin, atrocity, etc. Spiritual disorder and anger should be the matter of debate.
Naturally, it was spiritual scholars of India who saw the original form of atrocity of British Christians and suggested ways of its solution in their sadhana and expertise. Bankim himself had seen it as true form. Bankim was the rishi and got a glimpse of samadhi of mother India. He had witnessed that mother India is the replica of Jagadamba. Therefore, she is deity and omniscient. We have to meditate her form. We have to remain in the meditative stage. Then we will possess immense power. We will be invincible.
Unfortunately, in his immortal song Vande Mataram, Bankim had challenged those people that you are the personified Jagadamba, you possess lakhs-crores of hands holding weapons, you provide happiness-peace, prosperity, bliss, peace, etc. Some of them started to term mother India Jagadamba as poor, bandini, broken deity, etc. Clearly, they are devoid of spiritual consciousness. If prosperous, peaceful and blissful people of India see mother India as poor and broken, then they can be politicians. But at the same time, they are nothing but kaput of divine mother India. Apart from it, they themselves fail to understand that they do nothing but portray mother India as an old and tired mother. They can’t see her divine, deity, ultimate powerful form. The people should keep this in mind. But this meditation is possible only after fulfilment of spiritual consciousness.
For the first time in 1858, the British empire ruled a part of India deceitfully through a treaty of hundreds of Indian kings. But they started to indulge in sin and hate Hindu. This is the fact.
An Indian mole was the reason behind the hanging of Tatya Tope in 1857. The Britishers were fearful at that time. In 1860, the Societies Registration Act came into existence. After some time, Indians were denied the arms license without permission of British as the Indian Arms Act. Governmental control was slapped on social activities through the Society Act. In 1860-61, Indian Penal Code and Jabta civil laws were established. Consequently, India’s judicial tradition was abolished. Earlier, the Indians were allowed to participate in civil service examinations. Later they were discriminated against. Surendranath Banerjee in 1876 formed a national society and launched a movement against this. At the same time in England, similar law was presented in the House of Commons. The law had provision for atrocity against Indian labourers, disrespect to Indian languages and Indian attire. Later in 1877, a meeting was convened in Delhi. Queen Victoria dared not to participate in the meeting. But fearful Britishers and their associates declared Victoria as queen of India with nod from many Indian kings. Because, they feared battle from Indians. They were hatching a conspiracy to weaken India.
The spiritual scholars of India continued to work hard against this. For the first time, they formed gaurakshini sabha through which Indian consciousness was awakened. Between 1890- 1900, gaurakshini sabha played an important role. According to the confidential documents lying in India Office Library, the British officials were so fearful that movement against the Britishers might erupt due to these gaurakshini sabha and sanatan dharmsabha and we could leave India. These documents have become public. I have given many references of it in my book ‘Sanskritik Asmita Kee Pratik Gaumata’.
Maharshi Dayanand had already launched a movement to reestablish indigenous life through Arya Samaj which was creating a sense of self-confidence and self-pride among the Indians. Meanwhile, under divine guidance of Shri Ramkrishna Paramhans, Swami Vivekanand took spiritual consciousness to new heights. That sadhana was so deep that in 1890 Shri Arvind had declared that Indian National Congress is the guidelines of blinds through blinds. Shri Arvind had written that ‘The British Parliament is discussing a fake debate that the Indians are discriminated against and now we have to do justice for them. This is nothing but the next step of deceit meted out to the Indians. The English newspapers are the carrier of this deceitful act in India’.
Importantly, Shri Arvind who was a renowned scholar of entire European literature, particularly English literature distributed booklet named ‘Bhavani Mandir’ in 1905. It mentioned ‘Oum Namashchandikayai’. In this booklet, Shri Arvind appealed to construct a temple for Bhavani and said that ‘Bhavani is the source of immense energy. She is my mother, omniscient and ultimate power. We will pray for immense power without which we will fail to lead a glorious life. Indians full of power is ‘nation’. Rebirth of sanatan nation with new energy will be possible through sadhana. It will give us immense power. Spirituality is our strength. It's a path for us. Bhakti is such a temple which has to be constructed in the nation again. A large number of celibates renouncing family life will get bliss of mother India and expand power in India’. Lokmanya Tilak published this inspiring booklet of Shri Arvind in ‘Kesri’ by translating it into Marathi.
It was 1894 when Shri Arvind had seen and written that ‘The intellect of Britishers is limited to the materialistic world. They are experts in setting up political institutions and running them deceitfully. Their wisdom is mechanical. They lack scientific desire and spiritual vision. They can see only through sense organs, while science can see beyond that. Spiritualism can see the ultimate god and the ultimate consciousness. They try to affect the world by creating dazzle through accumulation of materialistic items. They have no knowledge of the ultimate element of creation.
It will be proper to remember that Shri Jawaharlal Nehru who had no knowledge of Science used to term a copy of the Britishers as ‘scientific temper’. He was the scholar of law and literature. Shri Arvind had seen the basic nature of Britishers. Shri Arvind shared similar views with Shri Bankim. It’s worth mentioning that Shri Bankim was in heartily contact with Shri Ramkrishna Paramhans. Swami Vivekanand too declared that truth which was uttered by Shri Arvind in his write up. Similarly, from 1890 to 1910, gaurakshini sabha and sanatan dharmsabha ran massive movements in which Kuka Santjan, Maharshi Dayanand, Swami Aalaram, Shriman Swami, Pandit Ramchandra, Swami Shradhanand and Pandit Deendayalu Sharma played an important role.
In 1863, Narendranath (Swami Vivekanand) and Deendayalu Sharama took birth. In 1886, Deendayaly Jee set up ‘Ganga Dharmashabha’. After four years, ‘Bharat Dharm Mahamandal’ expanded widely in India. Madan Mohan Malviya and Pandit Deendayalu Sharma played a tremendous role in this movement. Pandit Deendayalu Sharma was so prestigious that a question was raised that who would stand to welcome George Pancham and Queen during visit to Delhi in 1911. At last, it was decided that the British King and Queen will stay at a camp and when Pandit Deendayalu will arrive here, then both the dignitaries will welcome him while coming out of the camp. Similar incident happened there. Deendayalu Jee showered blessings on them in Sanskrit language. It will be clear from the episode of Gandhi Jee’s meeting with viceroy. Viceroy never stood for Gandhi Jee. The British Emperor is the higher authority. It’s worth mentioning that Shri Arvind had publicized indigenous for the first time in 1905, while Sanatan Dharm Mahamandal sought for eradication of untouchability. Proposals seeking to eradicate caste-based untouchability were passed in the conferences of All India Sanatan Dharmsabha in 1912. In 1921, Deendayalu Sharma had defined in Sanskrit. It meant that ‘Those who have faith in Indian religion, consider Indian culture as their own, term India as divine land are Hindu’. Shri Arvind and Lokmanya Tilak had termed Deendayalu Jee as the greatest spiritual scholar of his time. Renowned writer Pandit Ramchandra Sharma ‘Guleri’ in his Sanskrit poem had termed him as incarnation of Dharmpran Bhagwan Krishna. Under the sheer guidance of these spiritual scholars, Kashi King, Darbhanga, Kapurthala, Patiala, Kashmir, Reewa, Koch Bihar among hundreds of kings donated heartily to gaurakshni sabha and sanatan dharmsabha. They passed a proposal seeking to set up Kashi Hindu University for safety of sanatan religion in the session of Sanatan Dharm Mahamandal. Later, the then Education Secretary Butler and Jawaharlal Nehru in their combined efforts distorted the basic character of this university.
Pandit Shivkumar Shastri, Pandit Gangadhar Shastri, Pandit Chandrashekhar Shastri, Swami Shantanand Saraswati, Swami Ramtirth, Swami Gangeshwar Jee Maharaj, etc tried hard to reignite spiritualism in that period. However, Lokmanya Tilak, Lala Lajpat Rai and Bipin Chandra Pal were the national spiritual scholars. In that time, meetings of Bharat Dharm Mahamandal and Sanatan Dharm Mahasabha were held at Balochistan, Quetta, Dera Ismail Khan, Chaman, Lahore, Rawalpindi, etc. Under the sheer guidance of Pandit Deendayalu Jee, great singer Shri Vishnu Digambar Paluskar had set up Gandharva College. The erstwhile Indian kings donated for establishment of Sanatan Dharm Sanskrit College.
Gaurakshini Sabha and Sanatan Dharm Mahasabha made their presence felt till 1910 so that British Government adopted many gimmicks to prevent it in its region. Similarly, truth is that religious and cultural scholars played an important role in uplifting cultural consciousness. That’s why, the valour revolutionaries of India consider Shrimadbhagwadgita as their holy scripture. It created such a national atmosphere so that Gandhi Jee had to write bhashya on the Gita to establish his acceptability among the religious people. However, he read no Sanskrit till the beginning of his adolescence. He went through the Gita for the first time in England as an English translation. Till 1919, Gandhi Jee used to call him an honest citizen of England. He was opposing all the atrocities of England as an honest citizen. Regarding Gita, Gandhi Jee in the introduction of his bhashya said that he believed that there was no historical battle fought between Kaurav and Pandav. However, Maharshi Ved Vyas has depicted continuous struggle between truth and untruth through this great scripture. Knowing that, he had to write bhashya on the Gita. The reason behind this is that there was no deep impression of sadhana of religious and cultural scholars in the Indian consciousness.
Jawaharlal Nehru who publicized himself as successor of Gandhi Jee tried hard to uproot this impression post-independence. Indian spiritual consciousness and refinement have been tarnished through various education and communication mediums. Due to which, contemporary Indian literature gives no indication of time, rebirth, eternal truth, etc. But the Indians get basic inspiration of valour to disperse terrorist Britishers through this spirituality. Similarly, the Britishers and the European Christians get inspiration of committing sin in other parts of the world through their spiritual institutions which will be deemed as spiritual disorder centers.
The great expansion of valour includes valour of religious personalities and other great personalities, valour of revolutionaries and warriors and valour of donors donating for religion, etc. The valour of Indians against terrorists is given a weak name like ‘freedom movement’ to conceal it fully. Truth of the world is that no country has got freedom through movements so far. It’s war which brings freedom. This is not authentic regarding India. Because, the foreigners were unable to rule the entire India. The Britishers ruled over half of India for 90 years with support of many Indians. Our great warriors, donors, religious persons, etc forced the Britishers to leave India. This is the fact of Indian history.  

In Charak Sanhita, Maharshi Charak mentions over 100 experiments of camphor. Given its medicinal values, it was said that camphor smog contains anti-bacterial, anti-fungal, anti-viral nature. Burning camphor purifies the atmosphere. It purifies our house by removing negative energy. Yagya also brings purity and health in the atmosphere. According to ayurved, if pure camphor is tied to the body, you can get rid of many diseases. If you keep pure camphor anywhere in the house, you can get rid of mosquitoes, insects, etc. Camphor makes its impact while eating and smelling. Unfortunately, today in the Indian market, 90 percent of camphor is duplicate. If we burn duplicate camphor in our houses, it will create diseases instead of checking them.

As Hitler butchered Jews. He used to capture thousands of Jews in a gas chamber and spread poisonous gas. He used to kill them with poisonous gas. Similarly, when we burn duplicate camphor in the house, our house becomes a gas chamber. Its poison creates diseases instead of removing them.

Duplicate camphor

The duplicate camphor found in the market contains harmful chemical which is also called hexamine or hexamethylene. It's a fully poisonous chemical which creates diseases related to respiration and lung. In America, food and safety data sheet of hexamine says that hexamine is transparent, white, crystal clear. It has no colour. Impure smell is mixed with it. It's a material safety data sheet which says that when its worker works for exchange or packing, he should wear gloves while handling it. In case of its fume entering into the nose, the patient needs to undergo medical treatment. Given it, camphor should be kept in an airtight container. If it’s kept in an open place and if you breathe in open, you will suffer from irritation/itching/burning. You will face difficulty in breathing, irritation in eyes. If you come in contact with hexamine or duplicate camphor continuously, you will suffer from asthma, lung cancer, etc. Presently, 90 percent camphor found in the market is duplicate.

From where can we get original camphor?

In India, the process for manufacturing original camphor has been in practice for thousands of years. Maharshi Charak, Sushrut, etc have written a process  how to prepare it. Original camphor is extracted from a tree whose botanical name is cinnamomum camphora. It’s pronounced as camphor and karpur in English and Sanskrit respectively. Leaves, roots, bark are processed and distilled to get original camphor. It’s prepared through this traditional process. Camphor trees are found in India, Taiwan, Japan, China, Burma, Sumatra, etc. It means that camphor trees have been found in the entire Asia for thousands of years. Our ancestors are aware of how to prepare camphor, what are its medicinal values, etc. Camphor has been considered as medicine in ayurved.

Why is duplicate camphor found in Indian market?

Original camphor is sold at Rs 1200- 1800 per kilogram. Camphor extracted through natural process can’t be available below this price in the market. But most of the companies sell duplicate camphor by using synthetic material hexamine which is sold in the market at Rs 100-150 per kilogram.

Unfortunately, there is no benchmark in the Central Government over camphor quality. Because, camphor comes neither in food items, nor in cosmetic items, nor in medicine items. Therefore, the government department tests no camphor brand. We have to keep precaution for its purity. We perform yagya and put camphor in it. If the camphor makes the atmosphere poisonous, you will get no benefit through performing yagya. When Param Pujya Swami Jee Maharaj found that most of the camphor found in the market is duplicate, then he made available original camphor as Patanjali astha brand puja material and camphor for the people.

Medicinal use of camphor

Pujya Acharya Jee and Pujya Swami Jee Maharaj continue to apprise people of medicinal use of camphor. If people suffer from chronic dandruff, fungal infection, they should apply pure camphor mixed with coconut oil in the roots of hairs to get rid of it. Camphor is edible in South India. The patients suffering from stomachache can use camphor to get rid of it. Camphor is also used to check cracked heels, bad odour of mouth, pain in teeth, worm in abdomen, etc. Original camphor is tied in the hands of children. Camphor contains antiseptic, anti-inflammatory, antibacterial and antiviral values. Camphor found in the market at the rate of Rs 100-850 per kilogram contains no medicinal value.

Our ancestors have said that the burning camphor opens both the nostrils. Camphor re-activates our nervous system and removes tension. Burning camphor helps people meditate. It checks bacteria, viruses and worms and purifies the atmosphere.

Synthetic Camphor

Synthetic camphor found in the market is 100 percent chemical. If it’s burnt, it creates poison in the atmosphere. If you burn synthetic camphor for 10 days, the atmosphere of the house will turn poisonous. Today, there are no doors and windows in the smaller houses. There is no exchange of air in such houses. The duplicate camphor creates poison in the atmosphere. Children, youths and old age people feel difficulty in breathing. Air filter fails to purify the harmful gas arising out of duplicate camphor. Air filter refines only dust particles instead of poisonous gas.

Alternative of Camphor

There is no alternative to the original camphor. Therefore, use pure camphor to get rid of poisonous impact. You can replace the duplicate camphor with a lamp of pure ghee. You can also use sesame oil to light lamp. It will make no harmful effect. We should not use duplicate items in eatable and puja materials. Unfortunately, there is no investigative agency like FDA in the country to check it. On many occasions, adulteration goes unchecked. There is no provision for hard punishment for adulteration. You should wear gloves to handle duplicate hexamine. You can imagine the harmful effect arising out of use of duplicate camphor.

From where, we can get original Camphor?

Patanjali has made available 100 percent original camphor to protect people from harmful impact of poisonous camphor. Patanjali camphor is 100 percent pure. However, it’s costly in comparison to duplicate camphor in the market. You can get it at your nearest Patanjali hospital, Patanjali mega store, etc. If something is sold at a low price, it means that it’s duplicate.

Patanjali Camphor is costly but at the same time, it makes no harmful effect. We have provided original camphor as per the quality control criteria. You should always purchase original camphor. 

Life with religious character and spirituality is called divine life. Spirituality is the very basis upon which beautiful life full of divine character can be led. Therefore, the divine life can be attained through arduous austerity. Mind plays an important role in divine life. Mind is built through importance which remains present in the sky. Some great personalities have termed it as a universal human being. Vital element functioning in the human body is called ‘manomaya kosh’. It has been defined in panchkosh in Taittariya Upanishad according to which-

Tasmadva etasmatpranamayadanyoantara atma manomayah I
Tenaisha purnah I It means that manomaya is situated in the vital repository and it’s different from it.

According to Eitareya Upanishad—chandrama manobhutva hridayam pravishat it means that the moon got settled in heart by becoming mind. It means that the element which made mind is as lighted as the moon. The mind is divided into five parts on the basis of its functioning. These five parts of the mind have been defined elaborately in the first six mantras of Shivsankalpsukta of 34th chapter of Yajurved. The mind part under whose control sense organs function is called deity mind. It’s the illuminator of subjects.

The mind part under whose control five sex organs function is called yagya mind. A part of this mind remains in the brain. It ensures subjects through logic. It’s called intellect. It has been defined as science in mantra. Mind which accumulates subjects as refinements while staying in the brain has been called as consciousness. It is known as chetas in mantra. First part of manomaya element is called dhritiman which grasps those powers, subjects and activities which have no knowledge of the soul directly. Four parts of mind- deity mind, yaksh mind, intellect and consciousness is known as mind. Because its activities are under the control of the soul. It’s also called udbuddh mind, whereas dhriti mind is known as esoteric vyaprit mind.
First mantra of Shivsankalpsukta gives detailed information regarding deity mind like form of deity mind and its updarsh condition. First mantra of Shivsankalpsukta—

Yajjagrato durmudaite tadusuptasya tathaiveti I
Durdgama jyotisham jyotirekam tanme manah shivsankalpamastu II

(Yat) those (jagratah) for enlightened personalities (duram) in the outer subjects in far flung areas (udaiti) arises (tat-u) and who (suptastya) for sleeping people (tathaiva) similarly (duradgagamam) going to the far flung country (udeti) it arises (tat) that is my (jyotisham ekam jyotih) sense organs as light (manah) deity mind (shiv sankalpam) should be good commitments (aratu).
It means that the mind of the enlightened people goes to outer subjects and makes the soul aware of those subjects. Similarly, the consciousness of the sleeping people enlightens the outer subjects due to refinement. It is an illuminator of my mind and sense organs. My mind may get filled with good thoughts.
All types of activities get completed through 13 sadhana of the soul (five sense organs, five sex organs, mind, intellect and ego). Deity mind controls sense organs. Those organs through which we get realized knowledge of subjects with soul are called sense organs. Following are the sense organs and their subjects—

Sense organs- nasikarsana, eye, source, tvak
Subject- smell, juice, form, word, touch

Physical organs like nose, tongue, eyes, ears and skin are not the sense organs but the sources of sense organs. Sense organs are the micro power through which we grasp knowledge. It’s seen that we fail to grasp knowledge due to damage to an organ. Similarly, despite having organs, we fail to grasp knowledge. For example, we suffer from loss of hearing and sight. Similarly, we face no difficulty in hearing and smelling due to damage of organs in an accident because we lose no power of sense organs. It proves that these organs are the sources of sense organs instead of sense organs. It’s essential to know the process for acquiring knowledge through sense organs. In this process, when the soul wants to know any subject, then first of all it creates thought waves in the mind through will power. The thought waves confront the center of sense organs of subjects concerned. After getting related to that subject, that sense organs return through the same path and apprise the soul of that subject. The process of knowledge gets stalled due to obstruction. On many occasions, the people fail to grasp knowledge of the subject despite the presence of the subject and healthy sense organs because the mind is not related to sense organs. Therefore, the mind plays an important role in acquiring knowledge. If the deity mind is controlled, the people will get spiritual and materialistic prosperity. That’s why, deity mind is called the illuminator of sense organs. Mantra says that -yajjagrato duramudaiti it means that the mind brings knowledge in the enlightened state as per the aforesaid process. Tadu suptasya tathaiveti means the mind brings knowledge in a sleeping state by getting related to outer subjects. But in the sleeping state, the mind makes people aware of no knowledge by getting associated with subjects through sense organs. It makes people aware of knowledge due to refinement of consciousness. This mind is the illuminator. It means that when the sense organs make people aware of knowledge by getting associated with subjects, then they are called illuminators. They are related to it.
Therefore, highlighting powers and forms of deity mind, the rishi has prayed in the fourth pad of mantra that his deity mind which is filled with immense strength is the master of sense organs. It is the prime minister or chief servant of the soul. My mind may always get filled with good thought, good intention, immense strength, good commitment, etc. Because, immense strength and capacity coupled with good thoughts change life. Similarly, strength with bad commitments create misfortune for the human being. Our maharshis have tried to convince us through richa, messages, etc of four ved. For example- ‘bhadram karnerbhih shrinuyam devah bhadram pashyema akshabhiryajatrah’ means that the people aspiring for welfare of human being must grasp good thoughts, watch good scenes, etc. Intention of welfare of all is the very basis of vedic culture. The ultimate truth is that if people’s mind creates the intention of welfare of all, they will prosper at consciousness level. Because the path of prosperity of the world is nothing but prosperity of consciousness. 

India is a unique concurrence of numerous festivals and occasions. The people organise festivals as per the season not only for soulful happiness but also for materialistic and physical happiness. These festivals are the opportunity for various communities to get associated with each other. Holi is one of them. Holi has been successful in filling harmony and brotherhood in the atmosphere. Even enemies hug each other. On the occasion of Holi, old age people are filled with new energy. Children and youths are happy in the holi which gives an inspiration for happiness and smiling. Phalgun is the simple month of the spring season when natural beauty is on acme. Orchard is full of mango flowers. Air passing through the orchard gives vital energy to the people. Makeup of the world is attractive. The moon is her young stage in the full moon of phalgun month. It spreads light everywhere. There is a tradition of holika dahan. As per legendary story, name of sister of disciple Kashyapu was Holika who had tried to burn Lord Vishnu’s staunch bhakta Prahalad deceitfully. Holika was his mother-in-law. The God had given capital punishment to Holika by protecting Prahalad to check dissatisfaction in the relationship so that morale of divine relationship can remain intact and the people can understand the importance of mutual relationship. Holi is not only the festival of happiness and joy but also a medium for leading a peaceful and happy life by eradicating deceit, ego and demon. Getting rid of cold, when the God Bhaskar receives warmness of the rays made of coldness of air and heat, then the body is filled with freshness and energy. Meanwhile, the festival provides more happiness. In the evening, the group of children starts running on the streets. Houses and streets are filled with music of drums and other musical instruments. The sound of Indian culture starts to spread in folklore. This festival becomes more attractive due to traditions and rituals in various states and regions. The people get rid of physical and mental diseases in this festival. The people apply ubtan made of turmeric on the body and take bath to get rid of diseases arising out in the winter season. Rice is put in the holika dahan. Symbol of the moon and the sun is made in the upla of cow dung. It’s put in the holika to energize it. The people sing lovely holi songs. According to the tradition, the people exchange garland made of cow dung upla with each other to boost respect and eradicate discrimination. Gram and wheat crops start ripening in the fields. The people consume fried crops in the holika. They enjoy the taste of new crops and grasp energy. Holi is celebrated on the next day of holika dahan. Singing and dancing, the people apply the calx of holika to each other’s body. Singing phalguni songs, they perform prayer to the God at the temple and return to their houses. Various types of dishes are prepared at the houses. In the evening, the people go to the houses of each other and apply abir and gulal with great affection. The younger people apply abir on the feet of the elders and touch their feet for blessings. The elders give blessings and wishes to the younger ones. Children and women put colour on each other. They indulge in spraying colour on each other. In the evening, coir goes to every household while singing the holi songs. They also apply abir and gulal. At many places, the holi milan programmes are organised. Many political leaders and officers participate in this. Kavi sammelan is also organised at many places.

The poets make the lovely festival of holi more attractive through their hilarious lines. The people are seen running with abir and gulal everywhere like roads, cross roads, streets, etc. An atmosphere is filled with rout of holi during which the people indulge in intoxication. It’s improper. Because, this is the festival of happiness and joy. Those people who are devoid of happiness and joy take support of intoxication. Sometimes, the condition goes beyond control and people engage in scuffle. The people should avoid this. They should enjoy happiness and joy in this festival. They should get rid of old enmity so that the festival of holi can end with a happy note and keep the society intact. It can instil a sense of ‘sarvajan sukhaya evam sarvajan hitaya’ among the people.  

The women will remain the center of family and society. They have been facing challenges since time immemorial. Although, the Indian women face immense challenges, they have made their presence felt in every walk of society through their strong willpower and immense courage. They have played an important role in building a glorious society. They play many roles from morning to evening to make balance. On the one hand, they play the role of skilled housewife, on the other they have always proved their acumen and capability. Despite this, they have to face many known and unknown and visible and invisible challenges due to patriarchal society. Many people are of the view that the women are skilled only in household work and makeup. But that concept falls flat when a woman faces challenges with firm determination and self-confidence. They find that the women are proving their acumen in every walk of society apart from make up and household work. Today, lakhs of sisters associated with Mahila Patanjali Yog Samiti are the finest example of it. They are proving successful responsibilities of family and society. Apart from it, they leave no stone unturned to make available yog to every household under sheer blessings of Param Pujya Swami Jee Maharaj and sheer guidance of Shradheya Dr Sadhvi Devapriya Jee.
Today’s era is the era of women power in modern India. They are presenting such examples under Indian refinements. The entire country is getting inspired. They are paving way through hard work. They are creating new history by breaking the shackles of archaic rituals and traditions. They are transforming family, society and country through their immense courage and astute acumen. They are showing a new path to society and the next generation through their immense energy. Certainly, 2020 was a challenging year due to covid pandemic. Meanwhile, the women presented an example by leading from the front. If we talk about sisters of Mahila Patanjali Yog Samiti, they collected donations for the Prime Minister Relief Fund under appeal of Param Pujya Swami Jee Maharaj. Moreover, they played a tremendous role in conducting yog classes and organizing yog teacher training camps. However, physical classes were stopped due to covid. They organized virtual classes. New yog teachers are groomed in training camps. The sisters have always been fulfilling household responsibilities with devotion whether it’s lockdown period or not. Playing the role of mother, daughter, sister, wife, etc, they solved household problems apart from being doctor, nurse, officer, clerk, police, etc. Therefore, such lines exactly fit into them—

Playing such a role easily, a woman is the backbone of house, family and society. They play an important role in nation building. They have always been contributing in the development of family, society, nation and world. Many steps are taken to boost their involvement at national and international levels. March 8 is observed as International Women’s Day. International Women’s Day originated through a labour movement which later got UN recognition. In fact, its foundation stone was laid around 113 years ago in 1908 when approximately 15000 women had taken to roads in New York to oppose discrimination against them over working hours and salary. Moreover, they had no voting right. After a year of demonstration, Socialist Party of America had declared to observe National Women’s Day. Later in 1910, a US woman Clara Zetkin gave an idea of observing the day at international level while participating in an international conference of working women at Denmark’s capital Copenhagen. Around 100 women belonging to 17 countries accepted this proposal of Clara Zetkin unanimously and for the first time in 1911, International Women’s Day was observed. Later, lakhs of women in Austria, Denmark, Germany and Switzerland, etc took out rallies to protest against discrimination in providing jobs, equal right in government institutions and adult franchise etc. The women got such rights in Russia in 1917 after holding demonstrations and strikes. After that, March 8 is observed as International Women’s Day. In 1975, it got UN recognition. Earlier, there was no theme of International Women’s Day. But in 1996, it was observed with a theme ‘celebrating the past, planning for the future’. It means that it was named ‘joy of past, planning for future’. Since then, every year a particular theme is given to observe International Women’s Day. In 2021, the theme is ‘women in leadership: achieving an equal future in COVID-19 world’. It means that ‘women in leadership—they are attaining their goal in covid pandemic’. It’s proper that nobody can ignore women’s role and capacity in the struggleful era of covid pandemic. It’s essential to inform about the status of women in most of the countries particularly western countries to know how and why did International Women’s Day begin? The status of Indian women is better than that of most of the countries in the world. In sanatan vedic Hindu religion, if deities and gods are prayed as masculine form, whereas goddess Saraswati, Lakshmi, Parvati and Durga are worshiped as feminine form. The people have been worshiping them as mother, deity, sadhvi, housewife, wife, daughter, etc. No religious function starts without their presence. In the yagya, it’s mandatory for the seekers to sit along with their wives. History witnesses that the women had equal rights as far as politics and religion are concerned in India. Reason behind it was that the women were experts in every walk of life. Apart from being scholars, they were great warriors. In case of need, they would rule the empire tactfully. They used to cite ved and teach it. Even great warriors and scholars start shivering while facing arms and ammunition and scriptures. Maitreyi was highly knowledgeable. That’s why she was selected as judge in a debate competition among scholars. Our history is full of Maitreyi, Gargi, Maharani Lakshmibai, Rani Rajeshwari Devi, Rani Chenamma, Rani Avantibai, Rani Talmund Koir, Begam Aalia, Begam Jenat Mahal, Begam Hajrat Mahal, etc. Women with simple backgrounds like Uda Devi, Ajijan Bai, Jhalkari Devi, Mastanibai, Ranviri, Shobha Devi, Mahaviri Devi, Aasha Devi, etc left an imprint through their memorable work. They have been holding various coveted posts like President, Prime Minister, Lok Sabha Speaker, Chief Ministers, etc. They are playing an important role in various fields like knowledge, arts, commerce, sports, administrative service, military, etc.
Apart from International Women’s Day, various other programmes are held for giving respect to the women. On March 10, Women’s Day is observed to commemorate first woman teacher Savitri Bai Phule who had raised her voice against social malpractices like ignorance, untouchability, sati system, child marriage, widow marriage, etc. Apart from it, the country's first woman governor Sarojini Naidu’s birthday February, 13 is also observed Women’s Day. Apart from being a freedom fighter, Sarojini Naidu was one of the chief social workers struggling hard for women’s rights. She is known as the ‘Nightingale of India’. She was the first governor in India. Similarly, International Rural Women’s Day is observed on October 15. It aims at making people aware of the importance of women regarding agricultural development, rural development, food security and rural poverty eradication. It also aims at bestowing awards on them for their great contribution. Addition to it, National Women’s Day is observed by Mahila Patanjali Yog Samiti on the occasion of navasanvatsar under sheer blessings of Param Pujya Swami Jee Maharaj for the last few years. Navasanvatsar is observed on the first day of shukla paksha of Chaitra month. It is considered as the auspicious day of the year. Many other important functions have been completed on this auspicious occasion. For example, coronation of Maryada Purushottam Shriram and Yudhishthir, first day of Chaitra Navaratri for sadhana of goddess Durga, establishment of Arya Samaj, etc. According to Brahma Purana, the creation started on Chaitra shukla pratipada and time calculation also began on this day. The Brahma Purana writes—

Chaitra mase jagadbrahma samagre prathameani
Shukla pakshe samagre tu sada suryodaye sati I—Brahma Purana

Despite having such a great culture, the women still have to face new challenges due to narrow thought of the society. Probably, patriotic society is the reason behind it. However, that society dared to eradicate malpractices rampant in the society for decades like sati system, child marriage, widow marriage, female foeticide, dowry system, etc. Despite, due to gender discrimination, there is inequality between facilities being given to male and female employees. According to a survey conducted a few years ago, it will take 100 years to eradicate the gender gap between male and female. There is a reason behind it. According to the 1991 census, there were 945 girls in comparison to 1000 in the age group of 0-6 years. Astonishingly, it decreased to 927 and 918 in 2001 and 2011 respectively. We consider ourselves a developing country but it can’t be the yardstick of development. The fall in the number of girls is alarming for society. That’s why, the Union Government started its ambitious programme beti bachao beti padhao in 2015. Andhra Pradesh bags the top position with 985 girls in the list of boys and girls issued by the Central Government. It means that discrimination against girl child rampant in the society can’t be denied. It’s unfortunate to divide human being on gender basis. Division has always been weak. We have to understand that everything in this universe has its own importance and utility. If we say that caste and religion are determined on the basis of birth, then we should remember that sex is determined soon after mother getting pregnant. It means that nobody has right to select sex in line with caste and religion.

Undoubtedly, men and women are unequal as far as physical health is concerned. Despite, if women turned into men, they would be called carbon copy instead of powerful. The God has dispatched women to remain women instead of carbon copy to men. Therefore, it’s worth mentioning that we should not forget our identity, pride, role, etc. Whether it is male or female, everybody wants to attain a goal rapidly. Therefore, the women themselves are writing their stories. They must keep in mind that two acmes never meet. Therefore, both the men and women must keep distance while moving on their respective paths. The God has made a man and a woman supplementary to one another naturally. They are neither trivial nor great. Therefore, the women of 21st century have learnt how to fight for their rights by recognizing their strength. It means that there should be differences in their families. Lord Rama also needs the womb of mother Kaushalya to take birth. At the same time, he needs divine Sita to become Maryada Purushottam.

Presently, as per the family and social trends if there is check on the women in some families, whereas they are adamant to attain their goal on their own. Swami Vivekanand has said that whatever you think, you will become. If you think yourself as weak, you will become so. If you think yourself as strong, you will become so. In the 21st century, the women are committed to move ahead on the path of justice and development. Today, history is transforming in political, social economical contexts. The people have to ensure their roles in that period. Therefore, it's the need of the hour that the women must not depend on others to determine their goals. We have to recognize opportunities for big tasks. In the present context, yog has also played an important role in the field of women empowerment. Those women who don’t move out of their houses due to household works have got an opportunity in the form of yog. According to a report, demand for skilled yog teachers is growing at the rate of 35 percent annually in the country where business of yog training has reached to around Rs 2500 crore. It includes camps, training imparted to corporate companies, etc. Moreover, yogasan has been included in the sports. Therefore, the world is eagerly waiting for women who can lead from the front in the field of yog. Therefore—

According to the United Nation, there are 195 countries in the world with a population of around 780 crores. If we think of that name, civilization and culture of how many countries we can remember. Then we can count it. Why do we remember the name of any country? What’s the reason behind remembering the name of any country? Reply is that there should be social reformers, scientists, researchers who could contribute for the entire humanity. A politician or a sportsman or a hero or a citizen should have created a history which attracts people in the world. Sacrifice, effort, austerity, etc make the people great. It was not so that there was magic in their water and there was a bright star in their fate. No society, nation, culture, etc become great on its own. Many scholars, yogis, great personalities, etc play an important role in nation building. At the same time, there are various countries which are remembered for their citizens’ misdeeds. They can’t be our ideals. India has a glorious past. It's the divine land of many maharshis, acharyas, scholars, sanyasis, warriors, revolutionaries, etc. It’s the main center of knowledge, science, spiritualism, research, health, trade, education, etc in the world. India is the divine land of Maharshi Patanjali, Maharshi Charak, Maharshi Dhanvantari, Maharshi Sushrut, Maharshi Valmiki, Maharshi Panini, Maharshi Agastya, Maharshi Dadhichi, Maharshi Kapil, Maharshi Vishwamitra, Maharshi Arvind, Maharshi Dayanand Saraswati, Rishi Vashishth, Rishi Kanad, Rishi Bharadwaj, Acharya Chanakya, Acharya Ramanuj, Acharya Bhaskaracharya among other sanyasis. Students and teachers of the entire world used to visit Takshashila and Nalanda University to acquire knowledge. Thousands of years ago, through ved, upanishad, philosophy, scriptures, etc, our great ancestors had extracted esoteric of study whether it is related to life or world or physiology or psychology or earth or universe or water or sky or sun or moon or other planet or consciousness or nature or soul. However, the Modern Science has found the esoteric of creation and human body a few hundred years ago, knowledge of our ancient rishi is accurate according to present context. Modern Science needs ultramodern instruments for various esoteric and researches. It faces difficulty in conducting research without ultramodern instruments. Our great ancestors had conducted extraordinary research without any apparatus and provided benefit to the world. For example, the materialistic world originates from the compaction of atoms. Maharshi Kanad was the father of this theory. In addition to it, it was Maharshi Kanad who described about three laws of motion before Newton. Bhaskaracharya was the great mathematician of ancient India. Very few people know that Bhaskaracharya had talked about the esoteric of gravitation many centuries before Newton. Maharshi Dhanvantari, Maharshi Charak, Maharshi Chyavan, Maharshi Sushrut had given a unique gift in the form of Medical Science based on herbs to the world. Ayurved Acharya Maharshi Charak is counted as one of fundamental proponents of medical science. Modern Science is conducting research to treat human being through herbs and our rishis have already done it for the welfare of the human being without any apparatus. According to Modern Science, Wright Brothers invented aircraft, whereas as per Hindu religion, Acharya Bhardwaj developed an idea of disappearing aircraft from one planet to another through vimanshashtra. Therefore, Rishi Bharadwaj is known as the inventor of aircraft. Maharshi Patanjali was the doctor of mind apart from body. ‘Yogsutra’ is the great creation of Maharshi Patanjali who described the power of yog in the great scripture. Modern Science has not reached near it. Patanjali was the distinguished acharya of Chemical Science. Mica vindas, dhatuyog and iron science are his unique gifts. It was Maharshi Panini who wrote the world's first grammar. Panini defined original experiments of language around 500 years ago. He gave an easy form of language and changed Sanskrit language as a grammar form. He played an important role in enriching Sanskrit language. Ashtadhyayi is not only a grammar scripture but a description of erstwhile Indian society. It mentions geography, social, economic, educational, political life, philosophical thoughts, eating habits, lifestyle, etc. Credit for providing knowledge of word to the entire world goes to Maharshi Panini. Max Muller himself has showered praise on Maharshi Panini in ‘Science of Thought’. Leonard Bloomfield (founder of American linguist) and Ferdenand Di Chaucer who is the father of modern structural language has praised Maharshi Panini. If we talk about our ancient Indian great personalities’ contribution to spirituality, knowledge, science or other areas and describe their researches and inventions conducted for the welfare of humanity, thousands of books can be written. Thousands of such books are available at present. Apart from it, great warriors like Chhatrapati Shivaji, Maharana Pratap, Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose, Chandrashekhar Azad, Shere Punjab Lala Lajpat Rai, Vir Savarkar, Shaheed Bhagat Singh, Rajguru, Sukhdev, Sardar Patel, Jhansi Kee Rani Lakshmi Bai among lakhs of patriots and troops sacrificed their life. We are obliged to them. India’s culture and boundaries are of great importance, thanks to these great personalities. They had two similar things like firm determination to do something great for humanity and nation in life and hard work to accomplish that commitment. Our India is one of the ancient countries in the world. Today, every country in the world must have heard about its greatness. But the present era is the time of awareness and sensitiveness. It’s time to increase new research and strength as per present and future context. Today, America, European countries, Israel, Russia and China have turned themselves as economic and military giants by conducting research. They have developed in the science, education and health sector. Then why can India not regain lost glory? These countries have only two hands, two eyes, two legs, etc. We have to develop our capacity in all the directions. It’s not so that there is oil in the river of developed countries. It’s not the condition that machines and bombs are produced in their fields instead of fruits and vegetables. Few people in those countries have been striving hard to attain their goal for a few decades. We will also do that. Power of people is the greatest strength  of any country. Every nation is powerful on the basis of unity among its citizens. Total population of the USA is 33.10 crore. Similarly, the population of Russia, Japan, Germany, France, Italy is 14.49 crore, 12.65 crore, 8.37 crore, 6.52 crore, 6.04 crore respectively. Israel’s population is around 86.55 lakh. Total population of these countries is equivalent to that of youths in India which has immense strength. Population of our country should be considered as strength instead of weakness. Although, it’s need of the hour to control the rising population in the country. Every youth should be intelligent enough to face present challenges rampant in the country. In ancient India, our great rishis glorified the nation through staunch austerity and sadhana. Unfortunately, our great revolutionaries sacrificed their life to grain freedom for the nation. Today, we need to lead our life with firm determination in the country. We need to realize our dream through great efforts. Children, youths, old age personalities have to make great contributions for our nation. Presently, it was Yogrishi Param Pujya Swami Ramdev Jee Maharaj and Ayurved Pandit Param Shradheya Acharya Balkrishna Jee Maharaj who are leading their life for India and Indians in line with our ancestors and revolutionaries. Every cell is surrounded by membranes which contain cell fluid and nucleus structure. First of all, this truth erupted under the leadership of Duve that every cell is the structure made of a particular membrane. These are called sac-like vesicles. There are cell organelles in the sac like vesicles. Such a special structure is called lysosome. Duve had searched that bio ingredients of lysosome contain over 60 digestive enzymes and over 50 membrane proteins. Enzymes eat older and dead cells, viruses, bacteria, etc. Moreover, lysosome also creates new cells through useful bio-ingredients. For this, there is a separate workshop compartment where devastation, creation, recycle, resemble, regeneration go on.
Second Nobel Prize was bestowed on Physiology scientist and cell biologist Yoshinori Ohsumi born in Fukuoka in Japan on ‘mechanism for autophagy’ on October 3, 2016. He searched for those particular genes which aggravate the autophagy process. During the experiment, on the basis of baker or brewer yeast ‘saccharomyces cerevisiae, it was proved that the process of yeast and autophagy in the human being is similar. Complicated machinery functions in both of them. This research gave an opportunity to understand bio activity science that what happened in the body during fasting, starvation, bacterial infection, etc.

Mutation in autophagy creates diseases. Cancer and neurological diseases are related to autophagy. You can get rid of diseases by boosting the autophagy process.

With reference to aforesaid research, the process of lysosome and autophagy means self-eating. Lysosome surrounded by membrane in the cell is sac-like vesicles. This yeast is in different shapes in animal and mammoth trees. Its main functions include breaking and digesting, repairing, resembling and creating macro molecules like acarbose, protein and lipids. It also destroys enemy bacteria, viruses and other antigens. 

Autophagy process aims at destroying and eating damaged and weaker cells and creating new healthy cells through healthy and useful bio-chemicals.

Ways for increasing healthy autophagy and lysosome process—during fasting of 18-20 hours, autophagy and lysosome processes start. After 58-72 hours, this process finishes. They can be improved through exercise and pranayama. Fasting with low calorie diets can boost autophagy and lysosome processes.

Under autophagy and lysosome processes, sac-like vesicles lysosome digestive enzymes start to create rapidly at starvation mode. It gives a message to every cell. It destroys old and dead cells, garbage and debris. It starts eating even cancer cells, viruses, bacteria and other heterogeneous antigens. In fact, lysosome is like a suicidal bag which kills anarchist elements during fasting. The suicidal bag contains 60 types of hydrolytic enzymes. Every cell has a separate compartment. Sac-like hydrolytic enzymes eat sick, old, garbage, dead cells and create new ones. There is a continuous process of killing and creating in every cell. But at the same time, fasting, low fasting, imminent fasting, low calorie diet fasting, hard exercise, etc accelerate this process. The body gets transformed.

Over 60 hydrolytic enzymes presented in lysosome contain glycosidases, proteases, sulphateses, etc. It eats and digests unuseful and harmful heterogeneous biomolecules like lytic enzyme, unpopular peptides, nucleic acid, carbohydrate lipids, etc. Membrane protein adorns every cellular process. According to various dimensions and needs of other elements, membrane protein is the very basis for movement of cells, communication between outer and inner atmosphere and enzyme catalyst and balance of other chemical reactions and cellular biochemical reactions.

Lysosome creates antimicrobial proteins and many cytokines to eradicate bacteria. Lysosomes can be autophagosome and heterophagosome. Autophagosome is a type of housekeeping in which bio-ingredients are extracted through protein. Heterophagosome removes exogenesis photoreceptor outer segment in the case of retinal pigment epithelium.

Lysosox is 0.1 to 0.5 micrometer and 1-2 micrometer in shape. Lysosome is also called a suicidal bag.  

Lysosome is divided into four types of lysosome as per its various functions.

In the primary lysosome granules form, the secondary lysosome is associated with food contacting the phagosome. Lack of a third residual lysosome hydrolytic enzyme creates ageing, hepatitis, pyelonephritis and other autoimmune diseases. For example, lipophushchin pigment granules are residual body which causes ageing. Fourth autophagic vacuoles are also called autophagosomes and autolysosomes which do cell garbage disposal and apoptosis process.

On the basis of both the great scientists’ research on diets, the entire process is called lysosome-autophagy= autophagosome.

Following works are done in the body through process of phagocytosis lysosome means autophagosome—

1)    Phagocytosis kills bacteria through intracellular digestion.

2)   Outer exocytosis secretes lysocyme for killing bacteria and heterogeneous elements found in the outer atmosphere of cells through outer cellular digestion.

3)  During fasting, the hydrolysis process of carbohydrates accumulated in lysosome cells provides instant energy in all the organs.

4)    It provides security to the body.

5)    It dispatches edible items deposited in some organs for the development of other organs through autophagy.

6) Intercellular cleaner removes unnecessary and disease-causing bio-ingredients.

7)  Lysosome helps in making thyroxine (T4) and triiodothyronine (T3) by operating thyroglobulin. Thyroid plays the main role in preparation of glycoprotein thyroglobulin matrix.

8)    Lysosome controls mitosis rounded pressure during cell division.

9)    It repairs blood cancer disorder due to damage of genetic-chromosomes.

10) Lysosome extracts various types of carcinogens from body and destroys them. But at the same time, it damages fibrosis due to lung fibrosis silicosis, asbestosis and pneumono ultramicroscopic cilicovolkenosis in abundance of carcinogens.
11)  Leucocyte’s granules are derived from lysosomes. It helps in building white blood cells.

12)    Lysosome plays an important role in protein synthesis, reproduction, etc.       

13) It also builds bone cells, destroys old bone cells and helps in parthenogenetic development.

14)   It’s the reason behind the multinucleated cell of osteoclast, neoplastic and myxofibrosarcoma. It’s removed through lysosomal enzymes. Parathyroid hormone also helps in this process.

15)   When the level of Vitamin A increases, then this cell becomes poisonous. It disrupts lysosomal membrane. Therefore, autolysis of cartilage and bone cells starts through enzymes.

16)   Lysosome plays an important role during pregnancy. It becomes capable for piercing the vitelline layer of the ovary.    

17)  It may cause various diseases. When lysosome catches glycogen, the former fails to eat or destroy later. This is called pompe's disease. Lysosome comes out of the skin by breaking the membrane. It’s called sunburn. Similarly, enzymes free from lysosome create pimples by damaging epidermis cells of the skin.

18)  Lysosome is also called a suicidal bag. It can also be autophagosome and heterophagosome. Autophagosome functions as cleaner or housekeeping in the body like sweeping, moping, vacuuming, dusting, etc. It deposits unwanted bio-ingredients from protein. Similarly, in case of retinal pigment epithelium, it removes heterogeneous elements like exogenous photoreceptor outer segment heterophagosome and kills them.

19)  Blood sugar level decreases during fasting. The body chooses alternatives of citric acid and pentose phosphate pathways. It also selects gluconeogenesis. It functions as protein and fat energy deposited in the body and increases beta hydroxybutyrate level in the body. Due to rising BOHS, positive energy increases in the body which reaches on survival recycling mode. Autophagy process is at acme after fasting of 48-72 hours. No unwanted heterogeneous elements exert pressure on cellular homeostasis and cellular functions. It dampens disease-causing factors.

20) During fasting, the autophagosome process is at the highest level. Therefore, the bacteria start destroying in the body. Autophagosome removes adverse impact of thermostable endotoxins lipopolysaccharide protein complex and some other gram -ve and mostly gram +ve bacteria.

21)   AGE is created in the diets due to overfeeding, improper diets, improper cooking style, higher advanced glycation and product cooking process like boiling in oil, grilling, searing, deep frying, hard temperature, tandoor, etc. Boiling, roasting, shallow frying, barbeque, etc cause heart disease, diabetes and cancer in the human being.

    Steaming, boiling, poaching, (71-82 degree centigrade) baking, roasting, braising, barbequing, cooking fruit and vegetables in low oil, etc create low advanced glycation and products AGE. It’s the best way to cook food. Autophagosome created during fasting destroys adverse impact of diets cooked in the wrong style and toxins.
22)   Nitrates, sodium glutamate, etc are present at danger level in the form of sodium fat, preservative, additives in processed food, packaged non-vegetarian, becan, hem sauces, hotdog, pepperoni, beef kari, daily meats, roasted beef, turkey beef, lunch meat, bologna and granola bars, vegetable flavoured nuts, potato chips, microwave popcorn, bags, confectionary cookies, cake, pasty, pettis, pastry, bread, kurkure, noodles, etc. Nitrosamines heterocyclic amines and polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons get created during processing preservation and cooking. They create dangerous metabolic syndrome. The people can get rid of it through fasting.

23)  Continuous consumption of aforesaid undesirable diets causes lysosome mediated degradation of damaged protein and lipids and other bio-ingredients organelles. Therefore, various types of diseases appear due to autophagy mis-regulation. It makes an adverse impact on the immune system of the body. Immune molecules cytokines, chemokines, dendritic cells, TGF, endotoxins, cyclooxygenase cox-2, genotoxic, mutagenesis, carcinogenic, teratogenic, NFKB nuclear factor kappa b, etc cause many diseases in the body.

Therefore, it appears that lysosome and autophagy play an important role in improvement of health in the body.

The people can get rid of various types of diseases through observing fasting scientifically. We are obliged to both the scientists for this research. They have this Indian traditional science on the basis of research to the human being.

I thought to write on this subject because a driver’s wife gave birth to a girl child at my residence. Naturally, it congratulated him. In reply, he sadly said that oh brother! Why are you congratulating? I am blessed with a girl child. I heard this. Most of you have already heard this. Why does our society think such a thing? Sadly, the daughter has to fight her existence before visiting this planet. The UNO has presented startling data regarding girl children. According to this data, out of the total population of the country, around 20 million sisters and mothers have been missing. Out of two million girl children taking birth every year, around one million fail to celebrate their first birthday. Out of five girl children, one is killed due to gender discrimination. People’s perception is that it’s son is the reason behind generation expansion. But if you save no daughter, you will get no mother. It's a woman who plays various roles as mother, sister, daughter. Today, the women fulfil responsibilities at national and international levels. The woman is called the building power of the world. She is the backbone of the family. Country’s development and prosperity depend on the agility and strength of the women. Apart from it, she is always beyond the boundaries of a particular place, country, etc due to matrishakti. In the religious scriptures, Indian rishis have termed women as deity ‘matridevobhava’. It’s totally true. For example, Rama, Krishna, Gautam, Kanad, Patanjali, Panini, Anni, Banda Bairagi, Maharshi Raman, Adi Guru Shankaracharya, Sardar Bhagat Singh, Subhash Chandra Bose, Swami Vivekanand, Maharshi Dayanand, etc and in the present era, Pujya Swami Jee and Pujya Acharya Shri took birth through womb of mothers who instilled divine refinement in them. Therefore, the mothers who can give birth to divine sons must be called deities. Manu Maharaj has also said—

Yatra naryastu pujyante ramante tatra devatah
Yatrotastu na pujyante sarvastraphalah kiya (Manu. 1/56)

It means that wherever women are worshiped, God stays there. When they are ill-treated, everything gets destroyed. The place where mothers-sisters and entire womanhood hold their feet becomes sacred and prosper. Continuous activity starts there. The house turns into a temple. The world gets filled with new fragrance. The sound of vasudhaiva kutumbakam is filled in the entire world. In the religious scripture- jananai janma bhumishcha swargadapi gariyasi, it means that mother and motherland are greater than heaven.
