Yogdharma will become yugdharma and Vishwadharma

Ninety nine percent people can leave without allopathic medicines and surgery and there life can be free from trouble and full of peace and happiness and divine qualities. But for this there is only one condition to practice yoga for 1 hour everyday in the morning and its result will be immense because it will transform the life of a person by giving him not only good health but transforming his whole personality and he will get divine qualities and his life will be  free from diseases, agoni, deformity, etc. Therefore in the coming 20 to 50 years everyone in the world will adopt yoga and we will be able to create a world influenced completely by yoga and our resolve will one day become a reality. Yoga can give the world good health world peace sacredness prosperity and can resolve all the problems of human beings because it is a complete comprehensive scientific and practical solution. 

Spiritual India and spiritual world based on yoga is our target that we have to achieve and for this we have to put our efforts at a great level for which at least 1,000 scholar Yogi tapasvi Prachand purusharthi parmarthi parakrama saints are to be produced and cross of yoga practice nurse and likes of authentic and sacred volunteers are also to be prepared. 

Yugdharma has to be transformed into Vishwa Dharma for which crores of people are required to to take oath that they will dedicate themselves for this purpose as a yoga Prati Yagya Bharti Ayurved Bharti Prakriti Bharti Seva Bharti aadhyatmik Bharti and they will dedicate themselves to do the work of the almighty and for complete reputation and Prestige in the life they will have to make their greatest contribution and some people will have to sacrifice their everything for this purpose. 

In this Mahayagya of Swadeshi everybody has to make contribution and Swadeshi Samridhi card Seva Yojana has to be expanded all around. I appeal all the divine souls from core of my heart with a prayer that all the brothers and sisters must dedicate themselves completely for this mission and very soon within have more than one crore members for the success of our mission and Swadeshi Samridhi will provide every brother and sister for their contribution to get a new member in our family at least rupees 100 as apprise and for getting more than 1 crore members we have decided to to give an award was Rupee is more than 100 crore and in every district we have engaged at least from 25 to 50 brothers and sisters for this purpose and I appeal all my brothers and sisters that in this hour of of covid-19 debate we have a great challenge in front of fast and this is is a great plan for ensuring self pride of our youth therefore more and more young men and women must associate themselves with us and this way they can play a major and responsible role for building a self dependent India by the means of their participation.

The country where people lose glory towards their history, hope towards self-pride, strength and future and faith in blessing of teachers and teacher-disciple tradition is certainly going to taste defeat in the battle.

Under a conspiracy, the historians have interfered with the historical facts. The Britishers also did the same. The Indians who chant ‘Vande Mataram’ are taught that they are the sons of monkeys instead of mother India. Even western scientists have turned down this false developing idea proposed by Darvin. We still support tradition seeking to devastate our self-pride and identity. We are not monkeys. Instead, we are the offspring of Ram, Krishna, Gautam, Kapil, Kanad, Jaimini, Brahma, Panini, Patanjali, etc. We still study facts in history books about how to be slaves. The Britishers had recognized India’s talent in the first glimpse. They found that no country other than India is so talented. That’s why they found that teacher-discipline tradition is the reason behind it. They found this tradition is everywhere in the country. Everybody was knowledgeable. In those times, doctors, engineers, scientists, economists, thinkers, ideologues, poets, scholars, writers, etc were the glorious sons of mother India.

University of Patanjali

Those talents had created obstacles in the path of Britishers. The country has no dearth of talents even today. They only need proper guidance. Due to which, we lack self-confidence in our self-pride. We are losing our identity due to western imperialism and distorted mentality.

If we get associated with our ancient culture by changing our educational institutions, the country will start producing great personalities like Aryabhatta, Shridhar, Maharshi Charak and Shushrut, etc. Today, no student is taught respect and prestige towards his ancestors and teachers. He is taught to extol foreigners.

Patanjali Ayurved College

It’s ironic that the science of Einstein and Newton is taught to every student who doesn’t remember great scientists like Vishwamitra and Bhaskaracharya. When people used to imagine a story of airplanes in the world, Maharshi Bharadwaj had made aeronautics. When a child becomes an MBBS or MD doctor in the country where the first proponent of medical science and surgery Maharshi and Charak took birth, he studies no chapter related to both the great personalities. All these works are being done in India as per conspiracy so that western thoughts can be instilled in their minds instead of ancient culture, education, refinement, etc.

Acharyakulam

Swami Jee gives more importance to Vaidik Gurukulam and Vaidik Kanya Gurukulam. He repeatedly terms Patanjali Yogapeeth as his body and Vaidik Gurukulam and Patanjali Gurukulam as his soul. Boys and girls get deviated from their path due to misuse of mobile phones which pour ideological pollution and unnecessary contacts. There is famous shlok of Maharshi Manu—

Etaddeshaprasutasya sakashad agrajanmanah I
Svam-svam charitram shiksheran prithivyam sarvamanvah I

It means that the people of the entire world while surrendering to the feet of Indian teachers used to acquire knowledge. Our history indicates that India has been the world teacher. That’s why, in the morning, people of many countries bow down towards India which is country of teachers. India has been spreading message of non-violence, truth, love, affection, kindness, universal brotherhood, dedication, etc in the entire world through Buddhism, Jainism and Hinduism.
After the god, it’s teacher or acharya who has been given prominence in ved and other Indian literatures. According to Shatapath Brahman-

Matriman pitriman acharyavan purusho ved I
Shatapath 14/06/10/02

Analysing the word acharya, Maharshi Yask writes in his famous scripture Nirukt—

Acharyah acharam grahyati, aachinoti

It means that aachinoti buddhim iti va I It means that a person who instils good manner and culture in his disciple and augments disciple’s intellect is called acharya. There are three main objectives of the education (1) instilling good manner in student (2) boosting knowledge in the mind of student and (3) honing his intellect.

Acharya has been described as such in the Manusmriti- 

‘upaniya tu yah shishyam vedamadhyapayed dvijah’ I  Sankalpam sarahasyam cha tamacharya prachakshate II

It means that acharya is the person who conducts upanayan ritual of disciple and provides his esoteric how to study ved. Upadhyaya resembles acharya. Manu has described upadhyaya as such—

Ekadesham tu vedasya vedadganyapi va punah I
Yoadhyapayati vrityarthamupadhyayah sa uchyate II Manusmriti. 2/116

It means that the person who teaches ved, vedang for his livelihood is called upadhyaya. In this episode, teacher has been depicted—

Nishekadini karmani yah karoti yathavidhi I
Sambhavayati channena sa vipro gururuchyate II  Manusmriti. 2/116

It means that the person who arranges food for his disciple apart from providing education with refinement is called teacher.
This teacher has been termed as sea of education, mountain of character, earth of disciple welfare, etc. Mahatma Vidur has described such knowledgeable teacher in these words-

Atmagyanam samarambhastitiksha dharmanityata I
Yamartha napakarshanti sav ai pandita uchyate II
Nishevate prashastani nindatani na sevate I
Anastikah shraddhadhana etatpandita lakshanam II  Udyog Parv Vidur Prajagar 33-1,2

It means that knowledgeable person must not be lazy. He should remain the same in the religion whether it is respect or disrespect, praise or criticize, happiness or grief. He must not get attracted with materialistic items. He should be religious and devotional. He must not criticize god, ved and other aesthetic behaviours. These are the characteristics of a teacher. Extolling such teacher, it has been said—

Gururbrahma gururvishnuh gururdevo maheshwarah I
Guruh sakshat param brahma tasmai shri guruvae naham II

It means that teacher is the replica of Brahma, Vishnu and Maheshvara. It’s the teacher who is Brahma. We offer prayer to such teacher power.
Maharshi Patanjali also proved that the god is the teacher through following lines-
‘Sa esha purveshamapi guruh kalenanavachchhedat’ Samadhipad 26, meaning of teacher is also beautiful- ‘Guh agyanam dadrauti apakaroti iti I It means that the divine teacher eradicates darkness in the life of disciple.

We have firm determination and rishi like Manu has also declared it—

‘Agnivayuravibhyastu tryam brahma sanatanam I
Dudoh yagyasiddhayartham rigyajuh samalakshanam II’

The ultimate god had instilled knowledge in the inner soul of rishi like Agni, Vayu, Aaditya and Agdira. Since then this ved ganga blew from the god through teacher-disciple tradition. It reached to us through shruti tradition. Such teacher is extolled in the morning. Therefore, we worship him.

Such teacher provides prosperity and happiness for his disciple. Teacher looks like stone from outside, while he is as soft as flower in the inner side. Describing this form of teacher, Maharshi Patanjali says—

Samritaih panibhirdhnanti guruvo na vishokshitaih I
Lalanashrayinon doshastadnashryino gunah II
Vya. Mahabhashya 8/1/8

That teacher who helps his disciple attain the ultimate god is certainly providing him nectar. Who doesn’t know glory of knowledge—
‘Vidyayaamritamashnute’,  ‘Vidya dadati vinayam’, ‘Vidyadhanam sarvadhanapradanam’ etc describe glory of knowledge. ‘Vidyavihinah pashuh’ it means that the human being devoid of knowledge is nothing but an animal.
Great Rishi Maharshi Dayanand Saraswati in the third samullas of his immortal Satyarth Prakash has extolled knowledgeable person as such—

Vidyavilasamanaso dhritashilashikshah,
Satyavrata rahitamanamalapaharah I
Samsara dukhadalanena subhushita ye,
Dhanyah nara vihita karma paropakarah II

Those people who indulge in acquiring knowledge with good moral and eradicating darkness and grief of the world are extolled. The people engaged in the welfare work are great.
Such scholar acharya seemed to have conceived his disciple through ved rituals as the mother fosters her offspring in womb for nine months. Ved mother says—

Acharya upanayamano brahmacharinamkrinute garbhamantah I
Tam ratrististra udare bibharti tam jatam drashtumabhisanyanti devah II
-Atharva 11-5-3

On the basis of soulful relation between teacher and disciple, an educational institution was called gurukul. The disciple used to sit in the feet of teacher to acquire various knowledge. After that the ceremony used to be solemnized. On such historic and cultural occasion, acharya used to deliver his divine discourse which is competent enough to solve problems of the country. Acharya used to deliver sermons—

Satyam vada I Dharma chara I Swadhyayanma pramadah I Acharyaya priyam dhanamahritya prajatantu ma vyavachchhetsih I Satyanna pramaditavyam I Dharmanna pramaditavyam I Kushalanna pramaditavyam, Bhutyaina pramaditavyam I Swadhyayapravachanabhyam na pramaditavyam I Devipitrikaryabhyam na pramaditavyam I Matridevo bhava I Pitridevo bhava I Acharyadevo bhava I Yanyanavadyani karmani tani sevitavyani no itarani I Yanyasmakam sucharitani tani tvayopasyani I No itarani II   - Taittiriyopanishad 1/11

Speak truth always, behave with good manner, don’t become lazy in your self-study. Donate to acharya. Marry to the able partner and give birth to offspring.  Don’t deviate from the path of truth in anger. Don’t indulge in anger in the religion. Don’t renounce self-study and listening divine discourse due to anger. Don’t be lazy in performing works of mother and father. Treat mother, father, guest and teacher as deities. Believe in manasa, vacha and karmana. Follow the best religious duties of teachers. Don’t move on the condemnable path. Devotion is the best tool for getting knowledge, affection and blessings from param pujya teacher.

Sharadhavan labhate gyanam. Manu Jee says—

Yatha khanan khanitrena naro varyadhigachchati I
Tatha gurugatam vidyam shushrushuradhigachchati II

As the human being finds water by digging well, similarly disciple also acquires knowledge through providing service to his teacher. Here, attendance has dual meaning. One is shrotumichchha means assimilating every discourse of acharya and other is intension of providing service. Those disciples who provide service to their teachers attain the ultimate bliss.
Glorifying such great teachers, Maharshi Charak cites shlok of an ancient acharya—

Vidya ha vai brahmanamajagama gopaya ma shevadhishteahamasmi I
Asuyakayanrijaveayataya na ma bruya viryavati tatha syam II
Ya aatrinatyarvitathena karnavaduhkham kurvannamritam samprayachchhan I
Tam manyeta pitaram mataram cha tasmai na drudyota katamachchanaha II
Adhyapita ye gurum nadriyante vipra vacha manasa karmana va I
Yathaiva ten a gurorbhojaniyastathaiva tanna bhunakti shrutam tat II
Yameva vidyah shuchimapramatam medhavinam brahmacharyopapannam I
Yaste na drudyot kalamachchanah tasmai ma bruya nidhipaya brahman II

Knowledge visited to brahman and asked- oh brahman! Provide sheltering to me. I am the key to your prosperity. Don’t deliver my discourse to dull and jealous students. I will provide strength to you.
That teacher who brings prosperity and happiness in the life of his student through truth, ved and knowledge attains the ultimate goal. Disciple should treat such teacher as his parents.
That disciple who gives no respect to his teacher through his mind, speech and duty after attaining knowledge fails to gain his blessings. Similarly, that knowledge fails to protect him.
Therefore, oh brahman! Don’t show anger against pure, intellectual and celibate disciple. Deliver my sermons to such disciple.
When teacher used to provide knowledge and affection to his disciple on the basis of his eligibility, respect, dedication and intention of service, then disciple would get prosperity and happiness in his life.

Manu has rightly said—

Guroryatra parivado ninda vapi pravartate I
Karnau tatra pidhatavyau, gantavyam va tatoanyatah II

If a disciple is unable to oppose his teacher’s criticism, he should either close his ear or go somewhere else. A poet has rightly said—

If someone fails to do work, teacher can do it,
No person is greater than teacher on this planet.
If we write on the entire earth with pen,
Despite using sea as ink, we can’t glorify him.

Acharya and teacher have been highly respectful in India where there is a tradition of teacher-disciple.
Rishi Vishvamitra and Maryada Purushottam Shriram, Maharshi Sandipani and Yogeshwar Shrikrishna, Maharshi Valmiki and Lav-Kush, Mahamati Chanakya and Chandragupta, Samartha Ramdas and Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj, Dronacharya and Arjuna, Eklavya, Swami Ramkrishna Paramhans and Swami Vivekanand. I would like to cite two examples here with reference to glorious teacher-disciple tradition.
In his immortal Mahakavya Raghuvansh, Kavikulguru Kalidas has described emotional episode of Acharya Varantantu and Kautsa.
After acquiring all the knowledge, disciple Kautsa requests his teacher to take dakshina. Treating service provided during his student life as preference, teacher rejected the issue of dakshina. But on repeated requests by his disciple, teacher says angrily-

Nirbandha sanjatarusharthakarshmachintayitva gurunahamuktah I
Vitasya vidyaparisankhya men kotishchatastro dasha chaharoti II   Raghuvansh 5/21

I have taught 14 knowledge to you, therefore, bring 14 crore golden coin. Abiding by teacher’s order, Kautsa visited to King Raghu as seeker. Emperor Raghu had already donated his entire assets in vishwajit yagya. He prepares to attack on Kuber who showers wealth fearfully. Therefore, disciple Kautsa offers 14 crore golden coins as dakshina to his teacher.
Great archer Eklavya had given his thumb to his teacher Dronacharya as dakshina.
Teacher Dhaumya’s lovely disciple Aaruni had lied in the farmland for entire night to block water flow. Similarly, Swami Dayanand visited his teacher Virajanand with olive while saying good bye to him. Then Maharshi says—
Dayanand! I had not showered blessings on you for merely olive. See! Ignorance and darkness are rampant in the entire world. The humanity is suffering from slavery and hypocrisy. Utilise your knowledge to eradicate darkness. Without delaying for moment, he started to dedicate his entire life as dakshina—

Samarpita shri guruve svajivanam I
Niyojyamenam viniyojayed yatha II

Surrendering his life to the feet his teacher, Dayanand visits to the Himalaya and indulges in nation service, human service, disseminating ved among the people, etc.

India’s glorious teacher-disciple tradition was great. Today, the country is waiting for such glorious tradition. I offer prayer to this great tradition of acharya. 

Today, the entire human society is struggling with a corona pandemic which has made an adverse impact on body, mind and thought. If we see corona or this global pandemic with another approach, we will find that this is not happening for the first time. Such incidents have already happened earlier too. If we look at the past, we will find that we were suffering from grief in the previous birth too. Anybody can know our previous birth by hypnotizing us about what type of duty and refinement we had in those times. Everything can be found out. Everything is possible through yog and spiritualism which are our consciousness. It keeps all births, incidents and refinements systematically. We can see and read them easily. Then we will find that whatever mistakes we committed in the previous births, we repeat the same in this birth too. This is a vicious cycle of committing mistakes. This cycle remains the same. It can’t be imagined that at what time this cycle will continue.

Today, there is a wheel in the national flag of India. Ashoka the Great had made this during his regime that this world is like a wheel which has to move continuously. We continue to face all these problems. If we pay no attention to these problems, they will aggravate. We can understand that our body has hundreds of wounds. We put bandages on it. Does it lessen the pain? All these problems are before us. But what’s the concrete solution to these problems? We have to ponder over it. If we think over it then we will find yog and spiritualism as the solution to this. It needs to be deeply understood about the meaning of yog and spiritualism. To understand it, we need to have a glimpse of the regime of Lord Shriram. In those times, everybody was happy and prosperous. But at the same time, a major incident happened and devastated everything. Lord Shriram showed patience and Lakshman Jee provided great service. Similarly, Bharat and Shatrughan displayed brotherhood and intellectualism respectively. Mother Sita sacrificed her luxury life, while Urmila did tapasya. Hanuman also displayed great service. All these became possible during 14 years of exile through yog and spiritualism. Lord Shriram reestablished lovely ramrajya. Every human being imagines such ramrajya today. Similarly, Lord Mahavir and Lord Buddha took birth in India. Apart from them, Plato, Socrates, Aristotle, etc have assimilated yog and spiritualism in their life and set an example for others. Therefore, we term that era as a golden period. Consciousness of the entire universe awakened due to those great personalities and started to touch the sky.

Maharshi Dayanad, Yogi Arvind, etc have lakhs of followers who have made people aware of yog and spiritualism. They also enlightened society. Great personalities like Rajguru, Bhagat Singh, Sukhdev made the country free from slavery by assimilating yog and spiritualism. In simple words, we can say these divine souls as spiritual yogi whose consciousness was so high that people started to follow them. They made the country free from slavery. They brought change in the country.

Today, our society needs such spiritual yogi because, what thing we are going to leave for our next generation who must know Shriram Jee, Shrikrishna Jee, Lord Buddha, Lord Mahavira, Vivekanand, Arvind, etc so that they can’t put question mark on them. Following ideals, today the human being needs to be a spiritual yogi. He/she needs to attain enlightenment. Our society is fortunate enough that we have Param Pujya Swami Jee Maharaj as boon. He is a yugpurush who took birth in a poor family. He spent his childhood in a simple village. This divine soul started his journey from zero and attained the top in his life due to his great effort. He created an attraction in yog not only in India but also in the world. Once upon a time, Lord Buddha had given some lines for human welfare—‘Buddham sharanam gachchhami’ . Similarly, today the human community is speaking about ‘yogam sharanam gachchaami’. Today, yog is the only solution for human welfare. Today, the people have misconception in their mind that yog and spirituality can bring no change. They must understand that it is yog and spiritualism through which the world will witness transformation.

Under the sheer guidance of Pujya Swami Jee Maharaj at Patanjali Yogapeeth, around 500 brothers and sisters have pledged to surrender their life in the feet of Shradheya Swami Jee. They will contribute in spreading Swami Jee’s education, inspiration, yog, ved, ideal medical system, etc. Today, the light of these souls is like lamps. But at the same time, they would turn into the sun in the days to come. Today, Pujya Swami Jee Maharaj is the need of the hour. Only then we can set up ramrajya again. We have to make a great effort until we attain this goal. Today, this society needs yogic aestheticism, instead of showiness. We need no showy aestheticism. Smile should be of an enlightened person who continues to radiate among lakhs of people. Similarly, those who are enlightened, yogic and spiritual people are filled with internal beauty. Therefore, they don’t deviate from their path in the darkness. Such people are peaceful and healthy. They don’t fall prey to diseases. They win their minds. Therefore, their mind doesn’t get frightened. They remain tension free. It’s the right identity of yogic beauty. Such people are the father of change.

Our education, medical treatment, judicial system even after years of independence, etc are the symbols of slavery because such system lacks yog and spiritualism. Therefore, we got no success due this system. All these institutions pay no attention on yog and ayurved. If you have to understand change, you have to understand examples related to it. As you keep seeds in a closed place for years, it will bring no change. If you keep it either in a secret place or on the feet of the god, you will witness no transformation. But at the same time, if you sow the seeds in the soil, they destroy its total existence. Then the seeds start germinating. It seems the seeds lose their existence in the soil. But those seeds start decaying and germinating. They later turn into plants which provide shade and fruits to the thousands of people.

You will understand it through another example. If a coal wants to lose its blackness, it’s not possible for it to appear as white. No product on the earth can turn it from black to white. But at the same time, when the same coal burns in the fire, it loses its blackness and turns into white. Similarly, when someone adopts yog and assimilates spiritualism, he/she undergoes transformation. According to ved, the human being must do yog to get rid of ignorance, grief, disorder, etc. Today, society is falling prey to lower consciousness. The sense organs are beyond its control. Therefore, corruption, stealing, etc are still rampant in a society which has no enlightened personalities. They attract the people. There are many prosperous people in the society. They cry vehemently because they fail to adopt yog and spiritualism in their life despite having everything. They continue to struggle hard to get it.

In the Gita, Lord Shrikrishna has said that you can do every work while doing yog. The finest example is Pujya Swami Jee Maharaj who works the whole day while rising at 4 am in the morning. Such personality is the source of inspiration for us. Despite having no practice of keeping high consciousness like Pujya Swami Jee Maharaj but at the same time, we can follow him to get rid of all the problems. Shradheya Swami Jee Maharaj helps people get rid of thousands of problems. Crores of people benefited from yog and spiritualism provided by Pujya Swami Jee. Therefore, we must not put hurdles in the path of other people. Yog, spiritualism, service and dedication are the only solutions to all the problems. Therefore, there is a need to follow the path of Pujya Swami Jee Maharaj to set up an ideal society. Apart from it, we need to assimilate directions given by Pujya Swami Jee Maharaj. 

Degree issued by the universities on the paper is nothing but slips. You can acquire knowledge about expenses that occurred in your study through experience, commitment, dedication, etc. Modern education providing a degree is worthless. Had Maharshi Kapil, Kanad, Jaimini, Gautam, Patanjali, Sushrut, Banbhatta any degree on papers? It was Britishers who started to issue degrees on the papers around 200-300 years ago. Indian education tradition has always been providing respect to knowledge, instead of a piece of paper. It would be foolish to inquire about the education of Pujya Swami Ramdev Jee Maharaj and Pujya Acharya Balkrishna Jee Maharaj.

Pujya Swami Ramdev Jee Maharaj and Pujya Acharya Balkrishna Jee Maharaj studied the same subjects which were completed by Lord Rama, Lord Shrikrishna, Chanakya, Sushrut and Patanjali.

Pujya Swami Jee and Pujya Acharya Jee completed Post Graduation (Gurukul Acharya) in Sanskrit, Ved, Philosophy and Upnishad. Lots of people did Ph. D on their contribution in the human welfare sector. Many universities in India and abroad provided doctorate degrees for the distinguished persons. Many researchers are conducting research on their work. Despite holding a Ph. D and M Phill degrees in yog, ayurved, allopathy, people have no knowledge and experience. Such degrees are nothing but slips. In the foreign countries, such industrious persons are extolled. But at the same time, in India, the people continue to find faults. Let’s listen to a story- ‘a true story of a surgeon holding no degree’. He taught around 30, 000 allopathy doctors how to conduct surgery.

He never saw the doors of school. He got ‘Master of Medicine’ degree and taught hundreds of doctors in the world famous ‘Cape Town Medical University’ how to conduct surgery.

His name was Hamilton Naki. He was an illiterate person and famous surgeon Shri Hamilton Naki who can’t even read and write a single word. He was bestowed with a Master of Medicine degree. Let’s see how did it happen?

Cape Town Medical University is famous in the entire world. World’s first bypass surgery was conducted here in this university. In 2003, world famous surgeon Professor David Dent announced in the university auditorium—today, we are going to bestow an honorary degree in the medical sector to that person who has conducted the highest number of surgeries in the world. With this declaration, the professor gave away the degree to ‘Hamilton’ and the entire auditorium stood up in his welcome. Hamilton thanked everyone. This was the largest reception in the history of this university.
Hamilton joined the university as a labourer. Whatever he used to get as remuneration for working the whole day, would be sent to his house. He himself used to sleep in the open field. Later, he was appointed as a ground maintenance worker in the Tennis Court. He spent three years while doing this work. He came across a unique incident in his life. That incident proved to be a turning point in the history of medical science. Nobody could attain this acme so far.
Professor Robert Joice wanted to conduct research on giraffe. He kept a giraffe on the operation table and made it unconscious. But as he started to operate, the giraffe got awakened. He needs a healthy person to hold the neck of giraffe strongly. Professor came out from the operation theatre. ‘Hamilton’ was working in the lawn. Professor saw that the labourer is a healthy youth. He called him and directed to hold the giraffe.
Operation continued for eight hours. During the operation, the doctor continued to take tea and coffee breaks. However, ‘Hamilton’ remained there holding the neck of the giraffe. When the operation ended, then ‘Hamilton’ moved out silently.

Next day, the professor called him again. He came and stood by holding the neck of the giraffe. Later, it became his daily routine. ‘Hamilton’ did overtime for many months during which he neither demanded more money nor complained. Professor got convinced with his firm determination and honesty and promoted him from Tennis Court labourer to ‘lab assistant’.

Now he used to assist surgeons in the operation theatre of the university. This process continued for years. In 1958, he got another opportunity in his life. Dr Barnard started heart transplantation in this university. Hamilton became his assistant. During the operation, he used to perform the duty of surgeon instead of an assistant.
Now the doctor used to operate and Hamilton would stitch it. He was an expert in stitching. His fingers were clean and sharp. He used to stitch 50 patients in one day. His understanding of the human body is greater than that of surgeons in the operation theatre. Therefore, the senior doctors entrusted him with the task of teaching. Now he started to teach junior doctors how to operate.
Slowly, he became the most popular person in the university. He was unknown to the conditions of medical science. But he proved to be the most popular surgeon.
He came across a third incident in 1970 when research was started on liver. He found such a vein of liver which made liver transplantation easy. His comments astonished the minds of many experts of the medical science. Pujya Swami Jee Maharaj and Pujya Acharya Jee Maharaj have studied at gurukul. But he was illiterate.
Today, when a patient undergoes liver transplant in the world and opens his eyes. The credit of the successful operation goes to ‘Hamilton’.
‘Hamilton’ continued to associate with Cape Town University for 50 years during which he never took leave. He used to leave his house at 3 am daily and walk on foot for 14 kilometres. He used to enter the operation theatre at 6 am in the morning. The people used to correct their watch as per the timing of ‘Hamilton’. He achieved great feats in medical science.

He was the first teacher without a degree in medical history. He was the first surgeon without a degree to train over 30, 000 surgeons in his life. In 2005, he passed away. He was buried in the university campus. Later, it became mandatory for the surgeons to visit his burial after getting degrees, click a photograph and start work.
Do you know how he got this crown. Answer is ‘yes’. On the day when he was asked to hold the neck of a giraffe in the operation theatre. Had he said he was a maintenance worker and knew nothing to hold the neck of the giraffe, he would have remained a labourer. Then think that had he applied for the post of surgeon, he would have been given no opportunity. Never, but he held the neck of the giraffe strongly and became a surgeon.
Pujya Swami Jee Maharaj and Pujya Acharya Jee Maharaj have given a new lease of life to indigenous, self-pride, national emotion, naturopathy, ayurved, yog, etc. Had they held university degrees, they would have been working and drawing a salary of Rs 20, 000. If we are proud of illiterate ‘Hamilton’, then we are also proud of Pujya Swami Ramdev Jee Maharaj who studied at gurukul. Youths holding higher degrees roaming without jobs. Today, Swami Jee is providing jobs to such youths. What’s the problem?
India needs both of them. It's a matter of respect for both of them. Both ancient and modern medical science have to grow unitedly to boost the medical sector in India. Modern and ancient medical science are working together in countries like China, Vietnam, South Korea, etc. Let’s learn from them. 

Shaddarshan is famous in India. It’s known to all that Yogsutra which is the very basis of Yogdarshan is the most ancient. As far as anadi veds are concerned, they are the mantra delivered by rishis full of eternal power. The mantra is interpretation of eternal. Therefore, they are listened and chanted through teacher tradition. Later, its nididhyasan is conducted. Nididhyasan is a process of yog. Therefore, it has been said in Brihadaranyak Upnishad—‘Atma va are drashtvyah shrotavyo mantavyo nididhyasitavyah I’ It is the soul which should be watched, listened, chanted and meditated. First of all, it is listened by acharya and scripture then it is chanted through logic and alchemy and at last, it is witnessed through meditation and yog. This is the process of knowledge. Therefore, path of yog is proposed through ved. Therefore, it’s yog which is fundamental strength and the ultimate strength. Yog is the fundamental basis and secret of all the sadhana. Without yog, the people can listen and chant only. They fail to get knowledge of element and truth. They also fail to acquire direct knowledge of soul. Therefore, the people can’t get authentic knowledge of fundamental form of bliss without yog. It’s yog which helps people witness the ultimate goal which has been said as the ultimate bliss in the Gita—

Yunjannevam sadatmanam yogi vigatakalmashah I
Sukhena brahmasansparshamatyantam sukhamashnute II

(The yogi devoid of all disorders feel the ultimate happiness and bliss by witnessing the brahma in the soul. Here soul means pure intellect. Because, soul itself is a part of brahma and people undergo all types of experiences in their intellect. This condition has been termed as dharmamegh samadhi in 29th sutra of Kaivalyapad in the Yogsutra. This intellect is the status of prestige. Dharmamegh samadhi is the direct experience of self-realization means the ultimate goal. It has been said eternal peace and ultimate bliss. Yamraj says to Nachiketa-

Yada sarve pramuchyante kama yeasya hridi shritah I
Atha martyo amrito bhavati, anna brahma samashnute II

(When the seeker has no desire in his heart, then he gets enlightened by witnessing the ultimate goal.)

In the next mantra, it has been said that when all the glands of the heart open, then the human being gets enlightened-

Yada sarve prabhidyante hridayasyeha granthayah I
Atha martyoamrito bhavatyetavaddhayanushasanam II

Therefore, it’s yog which is the fundamental basis and secret of all the sadhana. Therefore, it has been said in the Mahabharata—

‘Nasti sankhya samam gyanam, nasti yoga samam balam I’

It has been said in 320th chapter of Shantiparva of the Mahabharata that ancient period was an era of religion during which the people used to perform yog religion.

Atha dharmayuge tasmin, yogdharmamanushthita I
Mahimanuchacharaika sulabha nama bhikshuki II

Emperor Janak had said to Sulabha that his teacher Panchshikha had showed three types of moksha religion destination path like sankhyagyan, yogvidya and rajdharma. Emperor Janak had also said that neither poor nor rich attains the ultimate goal which is directly related to knowledge instead of property, poverty, physical status, prestige, disrespect, etc. Despite indulging in religion, money, sex and power, I am on the path of attaining the ultimate goal. This era of religion has been termed as satayug. In the era of religion, Maharshi Panchshikha assimilated discourses of Hiranyagarbha Lord Kapil and disseminated knowledge of Sankhya. In the Shwetashwar Upanishad, Kapil has been termed as self-knowledge and first proponent of yog knowledge. In fact, the Yogsutra has neither mentioned nor refuted other philosophical ideology. Some Europeans who lacked knowledge of language tradition have refuted Buddha and other ideologies but at the same time it was total ignorance. They were egoist and foolish towards great tradition of Sanskrit and scriptures. In fact, these are the sutra stated in favour of simple process of acquiring knowledge.

The 19th sutra of Kaivalyapad—‘Na tatsvabhasam drishyatvat’ I It means that soul doesn’t get lighted because it’s visible. Behavior of animals is seen through experience of soul. Therefore, it’s the recipient of these experience. It’s not lighted spontaneously. It’s visible instead of watcher. It’s watcher who gets lighted spontaneously. Soul is scene instead of watcher. Although, it’s soul which knows common longing, jealousness, desire, commitment, etc. In that meaning, soul and intellect are the ultimate forms. But the soul doesn’t know itself. It’s watched through self-realization. Therefore, soul is visible instead of watcher. But in this statement, ideology of no other cult gets refuted. It’s the serious depiction of soul.

Similarly, 16th sutra of Kaivalyapad- ‘Na chaikachittatantra vastu tad apramanakam tada kim syat’ I

It means that element is not the imaginary emotion or creation. Because, then the element doesn’t get deleted due to imagination of no soul-

The foolish say that this sutra is coined for refuting science of Buddhism. But some Euro-Christians who are jealous, mean, cleaver, etc have given logics to tarnish the image of the Hindu religion. They also say that Hindu religion has spread after Buddha religion. Some foolish Hindu disciples also agree with them over this issue. However, this sutra is mere a mirror for the seeker to get rid of misconceptions. It is directly related to 14th and 15th sutra. Soul is the very basis of sadhana of seeker. Therefore, this sutra has been said so that the seeker can’t remember the ultimate power because he is working only on the soul. Scientific Buddha had defined sky, universe, sun, moon, nakshatra, etc as an imaginary science in the soul. Therefore, this Yogsutra seeks to refute no foolishness. Because such foolishness is an example of getting disappeared in acme of logics. Yogi or yog seeker is highly skilled, intellect and aware person who can’t get entangled with psychosis. Therefore, the Yogsutra refutes no such psychiatric patients. The great scripture is the sutra of serious guidance for the seekers. Element and soul are stable. They are going with free intention. It would be ridiculous and hilarious that in the future, people will start to say that this Yogdarshan refutes materialism of Marx and on this basis after few centuries, the other generations will say that this sutra has been coined for rebuttal of Marxism. Yogdarshan has refuted neither Buddhism nor any cult. In fact, yog is not a logical and intellectual creation. It aims at boosting logical skills. It is the medium of attaining the ultimate truth. Reason behind acquiring knowledge in this process means mind, soul and its habits and various levels of intellect and its internal process must be watched and known. The Yogsutra guides people to know this. Therefore, there is no need of rebuttal here in the Yogsutra. It’s worth mentioning that those people who are limited only to logic term Sankhyadarshan as the subject of logic. He has nothing to do with this knowledge. Instead, this knowledge describes such people’s mean logical intellect. Similarly, they differentiate between philosophy of Advait Vedant and Science of Buddhism. It’s nothing but ridiculous. Vedant terms the world as truth. But at the same time, it doesn’t term the world as the ultimate goal. Because, the ultimate goal is only one. It remains the same in past, present and future. Its fundamental form remains unchanged. The world doesn’t look like such ultimate goal. It’s seen directly. If mind, intellect and inner consciousness of the nature themselves are the ultimate goal then it can’t be controlled by others. In such condition, seeker would be unable to do sadhana because his self-consciousness will commit and work separately. Mind, intellect and inner consciousness will work freely. Therefore, the nature has been termed as the truth instead of ultimate truth. In the Vedant Darshan, it has been said unthinkable. Its definition is an illusion. Now only foolish terms illusion as false and untrue. And, in the philosophy, there is no place for foolish. Therefore, no philosopher engages in debate with foolish. In such condition, the political groups which are jealous of Hindu religion and philosophy remain in the illusion of their own logics. The philosophers have nothing to do with it. It’s rajdharm to punish to those people who are jealous for the sanatan religion. Religion of philosophers neither punishes them nor engages in debate with them.

Main point is that yog is the fundamental basis and secret of sadhana. knowledge is an inherent part of it. At the same time, the purest form of bhakti is also samadhi. Concentration and agility remove all the alternatives. Their soul gets concentrated on the ultimate god. Consequently, as per the 9th sutra of Samadhipad, it has a glimpse of consciousness and the ultimate god. Therefore, yog is the very basis of bhakti. Bhakti without yog is nothing but a creation of mind itself. Therefore, it gets knowledge. In such condition, the true bhakti helps the people attain samadhi and self-realization and the god removes all the obstacles.

As far as knowledge is concerned, it’s impossible to acquire it without knowing elemental form of mind, intellect, ego and inner consciousness. In fact, knowing is a separate form of yogsadhana. Its natural serial and result hint at self-knowledge and ultimate knowledge. It has to be situated in its natural form as per the third sutra of Samadhipad.

In fact, yog is the fundamental basis and secret of all types of sadhana. But it’s also helpful regarding subjects of intellectual and soul status. Therefore, it’s wellbeing to know basic elements of yog in the practical life. For example, we have made the students understand in the class that when you imagine regarding your future, then it’s not based on your capacity, social condition and its rules and regulations. Then it’s nothing but either antithesis and alternative of shabdanupati vastushunya or subject based on false knowledge. Instead, when you take pledge after examining it on the basis of facts, then it’s evidence based. If the students are asked questions and provided any evidence, alternative, etc of their answers, they will understand it easily. They also get inspiration from it for the future.

Similarly, in the family life particularly in towns, the people devote less time on evidence and waste their precious time on antithesis and alternative. In such condition, yog can provide immense help for them. They can save their precious time and power for authentic works. Ultimately, they will get rid of alternative. In fact, in our drama scriptures, Bharatmuni sought to highlight evidence instead of alternative. Only then, original entertainment and rasgrahan and rasnishpatti are possible. In contrary, the majority of people are engaged in finding antithesis and alternative while watching films. It becomes the reason behind many disorders.

There are a number of antithesis and alternatives present in our public life due to lack of fundamental consciousness of yog for the last 100 years in our public life. For example, there are various misconceptions about self-knowledge. Difference between paravidya and aparavidya got extinct and aparavidya itself is filled with false knowledge. On the basis of unjustified compromise with India’s enemies on August 15, 1947, Shri Jawaharlal Nehru and his coterie got power. Since then, they deviated entire people from their path through bad education and communications mediums. That’s why, a majority of Hindu community is suffering from misconceptions regarding their self-knowledge. Glorifying himself and condemning others are the parts of politics. But the people who indulge in politics in the name of Christianity and Islam presented this process as misconceptions. They termed it philosophy under which, they started to condemn Hindu religion and extol ridiculous ideology as philosophy. And, most of the educated Hindu fell prey to these misconceptions. Indian government ordered the universities to teach philosophy to the students as darshanshastra and all the newly educated people started to abide by it. consequently, they started to validate study of Islam or Christianity as a process of knowledge. Had yog education been popular, it would have been revealed that it is the reflection of alternative. It has nothing to do with any knowledge. It’s directly related to political objectives. Then in this reference, they would have focused on political steps and decisions instead of engaging in worthless and unwanted logics and debates. Because, knowledge is a subject for peaceful and serene people, while Islam and Christianity start with anger. Therefore, they have nothing to do with knowledge. They are directly related to political ambitions.

That’s why, in the Hindu community too, preachers were given due importance instead of various cults and groups. They think to strengthen society on the basis of preacher who is a political concept. He fails to disseminate knowledge. He does sadhana which is a process of how to know. It’s not the process of dissemination.

Knowledge is nothing but knowing materialistic power and soul unbiasedly. It’s  not the subject of dissemination. It’s the subject of sadhana. At the same time, dissemination aims at political ambition. But the Hindu society was brought under total control of state by Sri Nehru in line with Soviet Union. They are not allowed to take any political effort freely. Therefore, under the sheer leadership of Great Vir Nayak, hard working groups are waiting eagerly to prove their prowess. No such great Hindu group appeared in the last 75 years. In the field of political effort, today, various groups have fielded preachers to hide their violent acts and realize political ambitions. But at the same time, they fail to either gain political mileage or do social service due to unawareness and unwiseness. The people can attain religiousness through sadhana instead of dissemination. They can’t get knowledge on the basis of political institution like preacher. But preachers started dominating the public atmosphere lacking yog knowledge. Had we been aware of yog, we would have witnessed authentic work in both the fields. Antithesis and alternative would have disappeared. Therefore, knowledge of fundamental elements of yog is also essential for public and nation life. . 

Yog and ayurved are the best tools of divine power to get rid of all the diseases, poverty, ignorance, etc. When we become insensitive to ourselves, we will fall prey to severe disease and wrong nature and disorder in our body. Therefore, it’s mandatory for us to be sensitive to ourselves for leading a happy and prosperous life. And, if we suffer from disease, we will get rid of it through divine sangam of yog and ayurved. For this, we have to adopt yog and ayurved with great devotion so that we can’t suffer from disease and disorder again.

Yogrishi Param Pujya Swami Ramdev Jee Maharaj and Ayurved Shiromani Param Shradheya Acharya Shri Jee Maharaj have been providing divine light of yog and ayurved for us for the last 26 years. The great divine souls have saved the lives of crores of people in the world through yog and ayurved service free of cost. It’s the result of great service of ‘yog and ayurved’ that the serious patients were confronting death, but at the same time they are leading a prosperous and happy life with their family members. Many families were on the verge of devastation due to wrong nature. Today, they are leading an ideal life through yog. They are the sources of inspiration for other families.

Patanjali institution is also an alive example as an ideal for other professional and social institutions for prosperity and happiness in the country. I used to think that no matter whether everybody gets parasmani stones or not, but at the same time he gets such things which bring something precious in his life. Either somebody is suffering from disease or somebody else is on the verge of death like Lakshaman, then no matter he gets sanjivani buti by Hanuman as suggested by Vaidya Sushen. But at the same time, he must get any alchemy or medicine which can lessen his pain. No matter whether out of 14 jewels extracted from sea churning, anyone becomes a kalp tree or not. No matter if someone fulfils his desire sitting under its shadow. But at the same time, its shadow must provide energy, inspiration, encouragement, etc for him. Our all the religious scriptures and books like Ramayana and Mahabharata describe such stories which mention about divine and unique things like paras mani, sanjivani buti, nag mani, som ras and kalp tree. No matter whether we believe in such things or not in an era of science because its authenticity is yet to be proved. Meanwhile, on the basis of 15 years of experience, I would like to say that if someone finds authentic teacher, he/she attains everything automatically.

Today, not only I but lakhs and crores of people are fortunate enough that we have found such a teacher as Param Pujya Swami Jee Maharaj whose mere presence has provided everything in our life, something precious than paras mani, sanjivani buti and kalp tree. Today, as a teacher Param Pujya Swami Jee Maharaj is more precious than paras mani. Because, paras mani touches those iron which turns into gold but that gold contains no quality of paras mani. Whosoever has received blessings of Shradheya Swami Jee Maharaj has received divinity. They got refined. Lakhs of yog teachers are the live examples of it. In an era of science, Shradheya Guruvar has proved that it’s yog which can fulfil everything. Yog not only keeps you healthy but also makes you aware of unique qualities of enormous divine stones, trees, herbs, etc. Shradheya Swami Jee recognized this infinite power of yog and made people aware of it as an authentic teacher. Entire world celebrated the Seventh International Yog Day on June 21 but did we know how did we know this yog which is so popular in the entire country. in fact, it’s the divine Indian tradition and the medium used in it which is called teacher. No matter today science has developed and we get information through mobile, internet and artificial intelligence. But it's the teacher who provided the alchemy of yog. That’s why, it is known as India’s unique teacher-disciple tradition through which people have been acquiring knowledge about yog science for thousands of years. In fact, when we talk about any tradition, then we should understand that there is a need for a concrete medium to provide this tradition to the next generation. So that this tradition can remain move ahead uninterruptedly. In other words, this strong teacher-disciple tradition of providing knowledge in India changed into a concrete medium. Today, we are fortunate enough that we are associated with that medium which visits this planet after centuries. However, Lord Shiva himself is the main founder of yog, that’s why he is known as a yogi instead of deity in yogic culture. But since then, had many teachers not been contributed to maintain yog tradition in India, this great alchemy would have been disappeared from the world. However, world’s first book Ringved mentions about yogic processes, but at the same time, it won’t be hyperbole to say that Pujya Swami Ramdev Jee Maharaj’s great effort in reestablishing yog makes him as great as Lord Shiva, Rishi Vashishth, Lord Shrikrishna, Lord Mahavira, Lord Gautama the Buddha, Maharshi Patanjali, Adi Shankaracharya, Matsyendra Nath, Guru Gorakshnath, Raman Maharshi, Ramkrishna Paramhans, Swami Vivekanand, Shri Arvindo, Maharshi Mahesh Yogi, Swami Satyendra Saraswati, etc.  

This divine work was started at Ali Saidpur village of Mahendragarh district in Haryana. Around 56 years ago, when Gulab Devi and Shri Ramnivas gave birth to a highly talented baby boy who was named Ramkrishna. Probably, he would have been unaware that one day this boy will bring back the country's lost glory. In line with Rama and Krishna, his childhood was also challenging. Nobody knew that his struggle would turn him so great in the world. After acquiring elementary education at a government school of a nearby village, he joined a gurukul to study Sanskrit and Yog. That time nobody knew that reestablishment of yog in the world was being started at this small village. Such great commitment requires major sacrifice and patience. Because history was going to be rescripted and the entire world was going to witness it. Nobody except Swami Jee would have imagined that. That’s why he has been saying that there can’t be an alternative whether commitment is great or small. With great devotion, he decided to initiate into sanyas in his young age and Ramkrishna turned into Swami Ramdev. In his childhood, he used to wear slippers made of tyre. But while accomplishing his duty, he neither felt tired nor allowed anybody to be tired. Decision of initiating into sanyas was tough in that age when mind is filled with thousands of desires. Sanyas also means dying for living. The decision was tough and challenging. Process of initiating into sanyas is quite complicated. The sanyasi has to abide by many rules and regulations. Besides, it is a highly difficult moment of life. Because, the person goes to the river bank holding dand-kamal in his hands and wearing janeu. He performs pindadan of all the relatives, family members, etc. It means that nobody is alive for him. In the last ritual of pindadan, he performs the process for himself. It means he himself is not alive for his family members. Sanyas holds significance in Sanatan religion. It has been placed at 15th position among refinements required for life. Meanwhile, a new chapter was added to the golden history of spiritual India on the auspicious occasion of Ramanavami. People started to do yog everywhere in India. Such yogic countries where yam, niyam, aasan, pranayam, pratyahara, perception, meditation and samadhi had to be made available to the people with new styles. New experiments had to be conducted on yog in India and a healthy body had to be the first criteria of yogi.

Real meaning of sanyas is surrendering oneself for goldy works while working hard. Giving respect to godly creation and his works wholeheartedly, a sanyasi surrenders himself to the service, conservation and wellbeing of the world. He enjoys affection from all the people by doing so. After taking sanyas, Swami Jee started to lead sanyasi life and journey of public life. Initially, he started his movement with yog and later added ayurved in it. Then people started joining this divine campaign. Slowly, Swami Jee became famous as the torchbearer of Indian renaissance. He became popular in India and abroad. With the appearance of sun rays, people used to understand yog minutely. The journey of yog faced many obstacles. However, a sailor of a boat in the peaceful sea can’t become great. Those who have to touch the sky have to face obstacles in their life. Facing difficulties and obstacles, foundation stone of Divya Yog Mandir Trust and Patanjali Yogapeeth was laid. They proved to be milestones of this yog journey. Since then, Pujya Swami Jee Maharaj along with Shradheya Acharyashri has been trying hard with great devotion for people’s wellbeing, good health, quality education, balanced diet, nontoxic farming and better lifestyle. However, the common people started to abide by their directions with respect and devotion spontaneously. Let’s think about what will happen if we sow a seed in the soil and we get a single seed in return. But at the same time, nature has made such an arrangement that we sow one seed and get thousands of seeds in return. It needs proper farming and attention. Swami Jee adopted his rule of nature and groomed thousands of yog teachers at Kankhal of Haridwar. In the beginning, it was a routine activity for many people to watch the yog programme of Swami Jee at 5 am on Astha channel. But slowly, more people started to watch this programme and every word of Swami Jee became order and direction. Earlier, yog was confined to caves of Himalayas and houses of elite class. Accidently, thousands and lakhs of yog teachers started to leave their houses to teach yog to the people. Slowly, the people started practising yog at streets, parks, schools, rooms, etc. They got relief from respiratory diseases. They also got rid of such diseases upon which they had spent lakhs or rupees for years.
Getting benefit from respiratory diseases reminded people or episodes of the kalp tree under its shadow they used to fulfil their desires. Swami Vivekanand had said that the future of human beings is based on their scientific and spiritual approach. It means that science has to learn from human values from religion, while religion also needs scientific experiments. Swami Jee adopted this experiment of the scientific system in the field of religion and encouraged the people to do so. Then breathing properly became the medicine to get rid of respiratory diseases. Getting relief from respiratory diseases through yog was certainly a miracle. They also got relief from hereditary diseases through yog. Everything was not less than a unique, unimaginable and divine dream. There is a similar story of my association with Swami Jee in 2005 when a doctor advised me to consume medicines for my whole life after going through my thyroid report. In the beginning, I consumed medicines for six-seven months. Since then I have been doing yog. I turned gold by coming into contact with yog mani. Therefore, I try to encourage others to do so. Parents gave birth, the god gifted breathing and it’s my revered teacher who taught me how to breathe properly. I got infatuated with yog and ultimately resigned from the job and started providing service for the people. Similar is the story of lakhs of other people. The Divine speech of Swami Jee provided energy for people. Consequently, yog teachers used to leave their houses to teach yog at 5 am to the people free of cost at village, subdivision and district level in the entire country. The people used to term it as kaliyug. But at the same time, Swami Jee worked hard to initiate a new era in India. It will be known as the yog era in history. The people will remember Param Pujya Swami Jee Maharaj as torchbearer of this yog era. Slowly, yog started to set up new dimensions in the entire world. Some people started to see it as a market. Neither Swami Jee nor his yog warriors did business in the name of yog. It was quite difficult to set up a new era. Therefore, Swami Jee sought donations from the people. But a donation taken by a sanyasi is that if a bee sucks juice from a flower, it has an impact on its juice, smell, etc. It’s worth mentioning that when honey gets prepared, it is used by others. Swami Jee conducted many experiments on yog. Indigenous products, indigenous treatment, indigenous garments, nontoxic farming and corruption free India. All these experiments were not simple. It was nothing but a firm commitment of a patriotic sanyasi to bring back the country's lost glory. Therefore, Swami Jee made the people aware that yog exercise aimed at boosting internal powers and divine duties of the human being psychologically that their life could be filled with divinity. Working for 18-20 hours daily, he proved that everybody has to do hard work to get the desired result. The god draws a line upon which we have to fill colour.
If divinity and success of Patanjali under divine direction of Param Pujya Swami Jee and Shradheya Acharyashri gives pain to some people, it’s not new. Such incidents have been happening in every era. Maryada Purushottam Ram and Yogeshwar Shrikrishna also had to face obstacles in the treta and the dwapar era respectively. Therefore, it’s not uncommon for Swami Ramdev to face obstacles. The people need to have an aesthetic approach to understand this divine journey of people’s wellbeing. Goswami Tulsidas Jee has written that jai rahi bhavana jaisi, prabhu murat dekhi tin jaisi. It means that the people see whatever they want to. Therefore, some people see yog teacher and spiritual teacher in Swami Jee, while others find business teacher and political advisor. These are their own intentions. Today, Shradheya Swami Jee is not a personality but an expression of the entire nation and all of us are fortunate enough that we are witnesses of this yog era. 

On the occasion of seventh Yog Day, today Patanjali Yogpeeth-II-based Yogbhavan auditorium as well as the entire world is filled with yog under sheer guidance of Pujya Yogrishi Swami Ramdev Jee Maharaj and Ayurved Shiromani Shradheya Acharya Balkrishna Jee Maharaj. Now yog will become a part of our daily lifestyle. We must start the day with either surya namaskar or aasan or pranayam. It’s yog which makes a safety cover. We can attain the ultimate goal while boosting our physical strength, self confidence and mindset and building our life. He opined that under the sheer guidance of Pujya Swami Jee Maharaj, we ourselves have displayed the festival of yog, bliss of yog and various processes of yog since 5 am. We have to recognize its power as soon as possible and assimilate it in our life to make the world disease-free. But at the same time, people can become aesthetic through yog. If every person turns aesthetic, the entire world will become beautiful spontaneously. As the yog has reached to 200 countries through great effort of our respected Prime Minister, similarly, brothers and sisters associated with Patanjali are running yog programme in 200 countries under sheer guidance of Shradheya Swami Jee Maharaj. It means that the deities also chant that those people who took birth on sacred land of India are fortunate enough. The deities want to take birth as human beings in India which is not less than heaven. In ancient times, it was Aryavart or India where culture attained totality and divinity.

India is a land of prayer, while western countries are the land of longing. Despite indulging in luxury, their life won’t be welfare. Despite its half prayer, India will get prosperity. If India offers full prayer, it will get the ultimate bliss. Air, water and soil of India contain such elements which pressurize the people taking birth here that who they are? From where they have come from? Where have they to go? For what purpose have they come here?

India’s soil gets blessings of rishis, morale of Shriram, bliss of Shrikrishna, non-violence of Mahavir and truth of Nanak Dev.

In his book ‘India-What can it teach us’, German writer Max Mueller highlights the divinity of this sacred land. In the sanatan vaidik tradition, sanyas tradition has been in practice for time immemorial. We witness Adi Shankaracharya, Lord Buddha, Swami Vivekanand initiating into sanyas. It’s not merely a symbolic line. It has enormous possibilities. Today, worldwide ignorance, unrest, etc are appealing for India’s spirituality. It would be the ultimate result of India’s total spiritual sadhana. Under the divine leadership of Param Pujya Swami Ramdev Jee Maharaj, India will become a world teacher again. Kaliyug was waiting eagerly for this divine incarnation on the earth.

Teachers provide knowledge and eradicate bad habits.
Teacher eradicates doubts, I offer prayer to his feet.

In fact, teachers bring totality to our lives. We offer prayer to the ultimate teacher power through whose sheer and divine blessings. We get immense happiness and prosperity in our life. Teacher power is such divine power which brings aestheticism and prosperity in our life. It becomes a bridge between us and the ultimate god. A question was raised in the Mundakopanishad that what is mandatory for the human being to attain the ultimate goal. Rishi replies—
Parikshya lokan karmachitan brahmano nirvedamayannastyakritah kritenam

Tahigyanartham sa gurumevabhigachchhetu, samitpandih shrotriyam brahmanishtham II

Those people who want their welfare must lose their ego to get the desired result. It means that they fail to attain the ultimate god. Therefore, they must surrender to the feet of such a divine teacher who knows the esoteric of shrotriya-ved and how to attain the ultimate goal. This mantra has the word samitpani- means holding samidha in hands. Samidha means inflammable item. Sam and indha. This word emanates from dipt dhatu.

That’s why havan woods are called samidha because they catch fire after coming in contact with fire. This samidha is the main characteristic of celibacy. There was a tradition in the ancient time that eager disciples used to visit their teachers by holding samidha in their hands. It meant that the disciples had visited their teachers for total surrender. As samidha loses its existence after coming in contact with fire, similarly, the disciples themselves evaporate in the aura of acharya. They look like teachers. That’s why, in this mantra, this adjective has been coined for the disciples. Therefore, we offer prayer to the divine power.

Gururbrahma gururvishnuh gurudevo maheshwarah I
Guruh sakshat param-brahma tasmen shri guruve naham II

Now, what’s the meaning of this divine and great word? Let’s see guru is made of two words- gu and ru. Gu means darkness and ru means eradicator. It means that the teacher's power eradicates darkness and ignorance. In our sanatan Indian culture has been a teacher-disciple tradition since time immemorial. Neither this tradition nor the alive experience of rishi was able to get transferred from one generation to another. The people can attain the ultimate consciousness through knowledge acquired from teacher-disciple tradition. A human being can attain it under the sheer blessings of a teacher who can eradicate darkness, doubt, tension and bring ultimate bliss and happiness in their life. The scholars have been treating teachers as deities for boosting Indian belief, realizing all the dreams, getting success, etc.
Teacher is the true representative of the ultimate god. Teacher is like an ambassador. As the ambassador represents his country, similarly, shrotriya brahmanishtha teacher represents the ultimate god. Following the path of the teacher means moving on the path provided by the god.
Divine presence of the teacher declares ultimate divine power. But at the same time, the disciple plays an important role in it. He must be able to move on this path. If he doesn’t possess respect, devotion, belief, etc he is not entitled to be said as a disciple. That’s why, respect has been given importance in the ved and this message has been conveyed in 22nd mantra of shashthoadhyaya of Shwetashvataropanishad-

Yasya deve parabhaktiryatha deshe tatha guron I
Tasyaite kathita hvarthah prakashante mahatmanah II

Rishi says that as a seeker has great reverence in the ultimate god, similarly, the teacher also has the same reverence. That great personality possesses esoteric meaning suggested by the teacher. According to upnishad, a disciple must be respectful. Then he will be able to pave the way suggested by the teacher.
Upnishad says that the vital energy of a teacher lives in the heart of the disciple and vice-versa. Disciple is patient, while the teacher is a doctor. When the disciple falls prey to diseases, the teacher provides him medicines. Teacher’s discourse must contain reverence and belief for the disciple. We must possess respect, bhakti and surrendering as Arjuna. As Arjuna said—shishyasteahamshadhi man twam prapannam I I am your disciple. I surrender to your feet. Provide me education/knowledge.
Great example of firm reverence on teacher’s discourse is when Saptarshi tested Parvati’s tapasya and said that you should renounce education given by Narad. Replying beautifully, she said, “I won’t renounce sermons delivered by Narad Jee who is my guru.” Keeping firm faith on Narad’s sermons, Parvati asked Saptarshi that the teacher's discourse is a milestone for her. The people must have great faith and reverence in their teachers. Discussing human diseases in Uttar Kand of Ramacharitmanasa, Goswami Tulsidas says that the people must keep faith in teachers’ discourse. This is the main characteristic of the disciple who attains nothing without it.
The teachers continue to shower blessings on their disciples. Only fortunate disciples can get it. Those disciples who assimilate it get the ultimate goal in their life. Teacher is a living thing and a pilgrimage. He instils knowledge in his teacher. He paves his disciple’s spiritual journey. Teacher is a brahma who possesses eternal knowledge. An artist aggravates the possibilities of the disciple. That’s why a poet has said—

Nobody is greater than a teacher on the earth.
Whether somebody does or not, a teacher is of great importance.

There is no word to describe the glory of a teacher whose blessings hold significance. Teacher eradicates the disciple's darkness and bad habits. That’s why, a poet has rightly said-

Even the entire earth is not enough to portray a teacher.
Seven seas will be unable to depict the teacher's glory.

But the mind repeatedly says-
I have no capacity to chant teacher’s glory,
I am unable to depict his blessings,
I am ignorant and illiterate, but I have taken pledge to follow your path,
Teacher is my vital energy, hope and belief,
I am associated with teacher who is my world,
I am fortunate enough to surrender to your feet,
I am fortunate enough to take birth and blessings,
I can sacrifice everything to you,
You are showering rain on barren land,
My life is filled with prosperity,
Your knowledge provides purity, prosperity and peace,
I am happy to surrender to your feet,
I can pray to you, I can follow your path,
I can’t renounce teacher’s order in any case,
I can follow it, I can represent my teacher,
I can follow your path with devotion and reverence,
Teacher is my vital energy, hope and belief.
