Diclofenac is a nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) used to treat pain and inflammatory conditions such as arthritis. Diclofenac was introduced in 1965 by Ciba-Geigy (Novertis pharma). It came into medical use in the United States in 1988. In 2019, it was the 74th most prescribed drug in the United States, with over 10 million prescriptions.

आज UK में लगभग आधी से अधिक व्यस्क जनसँख्या किसी न किसी prescription medicine  पर है। जिन रोगों को केवल जीवन जीने के तरीके बदल कर हमेशा के लिए ठीक किया जा सकता था उन्हें भी दवाई की आदत डालकर और जटिल किया जा रहा है। Dr. Lisa Rankin, MD  के अनुसार 70% अमेरिकन प्रतिदिन कोई prescription medicines   लेते हैं और 20% से अधिक लोग 5 से भी अधिक दवाईयां हर रोज खाते हैं।

फिर इलाज किस का हो रहा है? फायदा किसको हो रहा है? यह बिलकुल स्पष्ट है।

30 अगस्त 2018 को उन्होंने एक लेख लिखा था जिसमें उन्होंने कहा- आधुनिक दवाईयाँ पब्लिक के स्वास्थ्य के लिए सब से बड़ा खतरा बन गयी हैं। अधिकतर मरीजों को इन दवाइयों से कोई लाभ नहीं पहुँचता। हमें बिमारियों के मूल कारण पर ध्यान देना चाहिए।

Lisa Rankin MD @ (TedX Fargo)   सीरीज में कहती हैं आज डाक्टरों को जो भी बीमारी समझ नहीं आती है वे उसका कारण स्ट्रेस बता देते हैं और इस तरह से पेश आते हैं जैसे कह रहे हों- मेरा काम तुम्हारे स्ट्रेस को समाप्त करना है, यह सिखाना नहीं है अपितु यह बताना है की कौन सी दवाई खाओ ताकि दवा भी खाते रहो और स्ट्रेस भी चलता रहे। आइये! डाक्टर और रोगी का स्थाई रिश्ता स्थापित करते हैं। दवाई और रोग साथ साथ चलने दो -हमें ऐसे ही तो जीने सीखना है।

हम आज disease management  कर रहे हैं। 90% केसेस में जो मरीज अस्पताल में दाखिल होते हैं उन्हें अपने डाक्टर का पूरा नाम भी पता नहीं होता।

स्ट्रेस आपके स्वास्थ्य के बारे में आपकी नकारात्मक सोच है, डर मस्तिष्क को याद रह जाता है, प्रतिपल लगता है जैसे बीमारी तो मानो हो ही जाने को है। कहीं अगर ये गोली न खाई तो कोलेस्ट्रोल न बढ़ जाये, हार्ट अटैक न आ जाये।

अब तो ऐसे-ऐसे विज्ञापन  देखने को मिलते  हैं जिनका कोई औचित्य ही नहीं है। नाक को अंदर से साफ रखने के लिए भारत में कुछ ड्रॉप्स का प्रचार जोरों  से चल रहा है। ऐसा नहीं कि उसकी सलाह नाक के किसी रोग में दी जा रही है अपितु कहा जा रहा है हर रोज नाक में डालनी चाहिए ताकि नाक साफ  रहे।

क्या हम प्राकृतिक तरीके से नाक को भी साफ रखने का तरीका नहीं सिखा और बता सकते। क्या उसके लिए भी केमिकल्स की जरूरत है? क्या हम आज तक इतना भी नहीं जानते कि नाक के अंदर ही ईश्वर ने हवा को साफ करने के लिए रोम उगाये हुए हैं? नाक को पानी, जल नेति, सूत्र नेति, तेल की बूँदों से और बलो कर साफ किया जा सकता है। प्राणायाम से साफ किया जा सकता है। अब उस के लिए भी केमिकल वाली दवाई? और बिक भी रही है?

एक highly controversial book ‘What doctors don’t tell you’ में Lynne McTaggart ने आधुनिक दवाइयों के खतरे से लोगों को चेतावनी दी है। यह पुस्तक अब मैगजीन के रूप में छपती है और US की बहुत पसंदीदा मैगजीन है। इसका प्रकाशन अब विश्व के 16 देशों में होता है। Lynne McTaggart का कहना है कि 80% वे इलाज जो हम बड़े विश्वास से लेते हैं उनके पीछे कोई वैज्ञानिकता है ही नहीं Statin drugs  जिन्हें कोलेस्ट्रोल के इलाज के लिए Miracle Cure  माना जाता है वास्तव् में वे हार्ट फेल का बहुत बड़ा कारण बन रही हैं ISSRI  ड्रग्स के बॉक्स के बाहर वार्निंग लिखी रहती है कि ये दवाएं बच्चों में आत्मघात की प्रवृति बढाती हैं। हार्मोन्स रिप्लेसमेंट थेरेपी जिस से स्त्रियों का बुढ़ापा रोकने का दावा किया जाता है। वास्तव में ये दवाएं Heart Disease, Stroke  और Dementia  तक कर देती हैं।

प्रतिवर्ष बहुत सी दवाईयां मार्केट से यह कहकर हटा ली जाती हैं कि अब उनके हानिकारक परिणाम सामने आये हैं। क्या कोई भी इस बात का उत्तर दे सकता है कि जो लोग बरसों से इन दवाओं का इस्तेमाल कर चुके होते हैं उनका क्या होगा? कोई भी रिवर्स साइकिल तो हो ही नहीं सकती, उनके अंदर से इन दवाओं का नुकसान नहीं निकाला जा सकता।

अभी-अभी 4 जनवरी 2021 को एक दवा

Metformin Extended-Release Tablets  मार्केट से वापिस ली गई! इस बनाने वाली 11 कम्पनियों ने यह दवा शेल्फ से वापिस उठवायी क्योंकि इनमें Nitrosamine impurity –N-Nitrosodimethylamine (NDMA)  जो FDA  की लिमिट से ऊपर पाए गये हैं।

यह वही NDMA  है जो कैंसर करता है और जिस की वजह से पहले RANITIDINE–Zantac  वापिस ली गई थी। इससे लीवर डेमेज और Lung Cancer  का खतरा पाया गया !

अब एक बात समझने वाली यह है कि जो दवा diabetes के लिए इस्तेमाल की जाती है अगर उस से और भी खतरे वाले रोग उत्पन्न होते हैं तो उस दवाई को लेना किस तरह से उचित है ?

एक अन्य बात जो मस्तिष्क को झंझोड़ देती है वह यह है कि कुछ दवाइयां एक देश जैसे केनेडा या यू के में ले सकते हैं US में नहीं। तो क्या दवाई देश देखकर उसके अनुसार लाभ या हानि पहुंचाती है? अगर कोई दवा हानिकारक है तो वह तो कहीं भी नहीं बेचीं जानी चाहिए। सैंकड़ो दवाइयां लोगों को बरसों खिलाकर, नुकसान पहुंचा कर वापिस ली गयीं। कुछ के नाम नीचे दिए हैं- (List Attached). इतनी लम्बी लिस्ट की वापिसी पर एलोपैथी के डाक्टरों ने आवाज क्यों नहीं उठाई ?नीचे उन दवाओं की लिस्ट दी गई है जिन्हें लोगों ने बरसों खाया है और अब कहा जा रहा है वे तो हानिकारक थीं और ये बात कोई और नहीं कह रहा स्वयं वे कम्पनियाँ कह रही हैं जो इन्हें बना रही थीं, बेच रही थीं- वे वैज्ञानिक और डाक्टर कह रहे हैं जो इनके बनाने से लेकर लोगों को देने में तक की प्रक्रिया में भागीदार थे।
