The mention of the churning of the ocean is found in Vishnu Purana is that a total of fourteen gems came out during the churning process of the ocean. There was also a Kamdhenu cow from churning. Kamadhenu, in which Kama means desire and Dhenu means cow. That is, whoever has Kamadhenu, whatever he asks for, he gets it. To what extent this mythological fact is authentic, it is difficult to say anything about it, but as far as cows and that too are concerned about the substances and their properties obtained from the indigenous cow of Indian breed, today there are authentic facts about it all over the world. Huh. Therefore, do not question or doubt mythological facts, but trust the scientific facts hidden behind it. In Sanatan Dharma and culture, the cow has always been worshiped along with this. It is also written about this in the scriptures, 'Sada Gao: Vishwadhayasah'. That is, the cow is always pure and the welfare of all. That is why Kamadhenu is said to be endowed with divine powers and a symbol of purity of mind. Due to these qualities and keeping in mind the welfare of the people, Kamdhenu cow was given not to the demons but to the sages and since then the superiority of the cow and its products has been proved. Since then till today, Indian cows have always maintained their superiority in the form of Kamdhenu, representing both God and mother on earth, playing an important role in running the life of mankind.
According to the scriptures, there are thirty three crore gods and goddesses in Hinduism and the abode of all these gods and goddesses is said to be in the cow. That is why it is said that only by worshiping and serving the cow, the fruit of worshiping all the deities can be attained. It was the vision of our sages and sages that whatever they found important on earth, to protect it and understand its importance, they directly linked it to religion. Today, the researches and experiments of science in different countries of the world have once again stamped the thinking of our sages. Why there is a provision for cow mother's worship? This has also been proved by scientific research. The world has come to know about the usefulness of its dung and urine along with the nutritional value of the milk of the Indian breed of indigenous cow. The nutritional value of cow's milk is not only as nutritious as that of mother's milk, but it also has motherhood for all. Perhaps that is why the Lord himself bears the footprint of the mother cow on his head. Even in the scriptures it is written that cow is the only creature on earth that crosses the satire and enters heaven. Therefore, in order to get the desired results in life, the glory of the service of the cow is less than that which can be described.

Gostu Matra Na Vidyate

According to the Vedas, in the way Ganga in the rivers, in the gods in the animal tradition, the cow has been given an excellent place in the animal tradition. The great human beings have considered the cow to be venerable by calling it mother. For why the cow has been given this excellent place, the context given in Yajurveda through question and answer makes it clear, in which it is said 'Gostu quantity na vidyate. That is, there is no limit or quantity to the qualities of a cow. Cow cannot be compared with anyone, it is incomparable, unique and best. Cow fulfills human desires in many ways and that is why we Indians have always recognized cow as a symbol of religion and culture. It is also written in Padma Purana that Brahmins, Devatas and Asuras should also worship cow because cow is generous in all works and in fact the mine of all virtues. Therefore, when it is said that the way the body and the vital are related, the human and the cow are also in the same relation, then it is completely justified. Undoubtedly, cow has authentic importance from religious, cultural and spiritual point of view as well as from natural and economic point of view. For this reason, along with describing it as a priceless creation of God, we have also been given the likeness of a mother who brought us up.

Gayo Vishwasya Matarah

It is said in the Vedas stating that the cow is the mother of the whole world. It is 'Gavo Vishwasya Matarah'. Not only this, there is also a context in Mahabharata, 'Matarah Sarvabhutanam Gaoah Sarvasukhah' i.e. the cow is called the mother of all beings and she brings happiness to all. The meaning of writing all this here is simply that from the Vedic period, our sages and sages did not just call cow worship on the basis of any emotional or any religious reasons, but if they have told cow mother to be worshiped, then their years behind it. He had penance, his research and advanced scientific thinking. Only after examining the essential requirements of the cow for human society, he considered the cow as worship and on the basis of that, discussed the cow products in the Vedas. That is why in the Rigveda, considering the cow to be so important, many mantras are seen for the protection of the cow. Whereas in the Atharvaveda, along with the description of rivers of ghee, the description of cow medicine and milking the cow thrice etc. Due to the quality of the products of indigenous cows of Indian breed, it became a strong pillar of agriculture, commerce and economy in every period. That is why the theologians associated the cow and all its products with religious activities and today in Indian culture no fast, festival or auspicious work is complete without the product of mother cow. It has also been proved by all the scientific research that Panchagavya i.e. milk, curd, ghee, cow urine and dung of Indian indigenous cow are not only useful in every respect for human health but are like nectar.

Desi Cow vs Jersey Cow

There is a book by scientific writer Keith Woodford whose name in English is 'Devil in the Milk' which means 'Monster in the Milk'. You will feel that there is a monster in the milk, what has happened. We have a practice of worshiping cow there and its milk is one of the Panchagavyas. And then a cow is a cow and whatever the cow may be, milk is milk. If you have the same confusion in your mind regarding the milk of Desi and Jersey Cow, then my opinion is that next time whenever you use Jersey Cow's milk, then definitely remember the title of the book of its former author. Actually the title itself is enough to explain the difference between Desi vs Jersey Cow. Today, it has become clear from all the research that how many diseases are flourishing by drinking Jersey cow's milk. Experts warn that Jersey cow's milk should not be given at all, especially to children up to the age of fourteen. The National Milk Research Institute has also given comparative data in this regard from its study, in which it has been said that Jersey cow compared to desi cow's milk, ghee and cow urine is extremely beneficial. Therefore, it should be noted that the glory of the cow and its products is mentioned in our scriptures, in fact it is only about the indigenous cow and not the Jersey cow. The indigenous cow can be easily identified by its long horns and large hump. The most important thing about them is that they easily adapt themselves according to the weather and can tolerate hot temperatures too. Whereas Jersey cows do not have long horns and large humps. The stature of the indigenous cow is smaller than that of the Jersey cow and it also gives less than half of the milk as compared to the Jersey cow. But when it comes to the use of milk, you should neither go on the height of the cow nor on the quantity of milk, your priority should be the indigenous cow and its milk. Well did you know that many studies do not consider the Jersey cow to be a cow.

There are several breeds of Desi Cow

There are many breeds of indigenous cow breed, that is, a group of animals of the same lineage and according to statistics, about one-sixth of the world's total cattle breed is found in India. Today the reality is that the number of pure breed of indigenous cow has declined significantly as there is no clear policy in this regard and to get more profit, more milk yielding cows have been produced through cross breeding with foreign breed cows. have gone. This is the reason that while on one hand the number of pure Indian breed cows kept on decreasing, on the other hand we were compelled to consume poisonous milk and kept on increasing the diseases. In the research institutes of the Indian Council of Agricultural Research, F. a. O. So far thirty types of breeds have been clearly identified on the basis of genetic evaluation and physical characteristics of cow animals on the basis of the method proposed by Some of these are such that they easily adapt themselves to the climate of any region. While there are some breeds which require specific climate to maintain their productivity. The major names taken in the breeds of indigenous cows are Gir cow found mainly in Gujarat, Sahiwal cow found in Uttar Pradesh, Haryana and Madhya Pradesh, first in Sindh region but now Punjab, Haryana, Karnataka, Tamil Nadu , Red Sindhi cow also found in Kerala and Odisha, found in Rajasthan, Tharparkar, Kankrej and Rathi breeds of cows are included. But it does not matter which breed of cow is around you, just make sure before consuming milk that it is of indigenous cow. By the way, keeping these needs and challenges in mind, the Rashtriya Gokul Mission is being taken forward very seriously by the Government of India in the last few years, under which development and conservation of indigenous breeds of milch animals, breed improvement program for indigenous cattle and elite Program to upgrade other breeds through indigenous breeds etc.

Desi Cow Milk is the best

Two things have become clear from all the research done so far, first that milk is a complete food and secondly that milk is the best of indigenous cow only. According to Maharishi Sushruta also, cow's milk is pure, energizing, full of energy and energy and sperm enhancer. That is, the milk which we were told about the nutritional and superior quality since childhood is the milk of the indigenous cow. It contains all the energy-boosting elements which are necessary for both physical and mental health of human beings. Research even says that all the life-giving elements are found in the milk of the indigenous cow and if only the milk of the indigenous cow is consumed without taking any other diet, then the person can not only lead a healthy, strong and strong life but also His nature can also be imbued with human qualities. But today the trend of consuming packaged and packaged milk has increased a lot in the market. These milks are available in the market under names like full cream, toned, double toned, skimmed milk etc. Milk of buffalo, goat, camel is also in trend. Along with this, the use of soy milk, coconut milk and rice milk is also a big trend nowadays. That's why people often get confused which milk is better for them. In the case of cows and buffaloes, they feel that since buffalo milk has a thick creaminess, it is better. But do not get confused at all because the consumption of desi cow's milk is the best for regular use and today it is unanimously accepted all over the world that it is the best. That is why it has been kept in A-1 category. In pure milk of indigenous cow, 88 percent water and protein, good fat and vitamin-D are found in more quantity, as well as the amount of calcium is also higher in it compared to other milk.
Being omega-3 fatty acids, it is especially beneficial for heart and diabetes patients. It has also been revealed in many researches that the milk of desi cow also controls the level of blood sugar by improving metabolism. The amount of vitamin-A has also been found in it and due to this it is light yellow in color. Not only this, cow's milk is also beneficial for the eyes.

What is A-1 and A-2 milk

In the past few years, there has been a growing concern and debate among scientists and physicians around the world about the health effects of A-1 and A-2 milk. But in India, this debate is yet to be fueled because knowing that A-1 milk is directly related to serious diseases like heart disease, type-1 diabetes, schizophrenia and autism, a large section of India is still alive today. Depends on this milk. Actually when we talk about India's perspective, there was never any A-1 milk here. While the milk of foreign cows coming from Europe, America, Australia and New Zealand is A-1, which has nothing to do with the quality. We used to worship the desi cow i.e. A-2. That is, what were we and what have we made of ourselves. Perhaps while writing the story of India's success in producing more milk, we have forgotten the indigenous cow and its milk equivalent to nectar. Whereas, understanding the difference between A-1 and A-2, people like Woodford 'Devil in the Milk' he had warned the world by writing. Certainly today India is one of the largest producers of milk in the world as well as being self-reliant in terms of milk production. But in the race to achieve this goal, we have increased the number of hybrid and jersey cows and all-round production of A-1 milk by doing genetic changes in indigenous cow through cross breeding. That is, by our foolishness and foolishness, we have poisoned both the naturally provided indigenous cow and its nectar-like milk. Today all the scientists around the world are giving this message that A-1 milk has bad effect on health whereas A-2 milk protects against many diseases. It has been said in research that the milk of Indian indigenous cow helps in curing heart attack, diabetes and mental diseases and it is the best dose for sick people. That is why it has been called nectar on earth.

Godhanam Rashtravardhanam

Certainly the unique desi cow's milk is no less than nectar in terms of nutrition and health. The sattvikta, purity and uniqueness which is in the milk, ghee, urine and dung of Indian breed cows cannot be compared with any milch animal and at all not with Jersey cow. This is why the reference comes in Charaka Samhita that cow's milk is sweet, soft and has pleasant qualities with the symptoms of Oja. Whereas in the Sushruta Samhita, cow-milk has been described as the best chemical for excretory, digestive, life-enhancing, semen-producing and prolonging life. So come on this 1st of June, when World Milk Day is being celebrated all over the world, all of us must take a resolution that if we cannot keep our own indigenous cow due to lack of space, then at least according to our capability, any indigenous cow around us. Take milk of desi cow from cow-keeper at reasonable price. By doing this, we will not only be able to take care of the health of ourselves and our family members, but we will also be able to take the virtue of serving the cow. If this is not possible then we will keep ourselves attached to Patanjali Gaushala. You can also connect with any Gaushala near you where indigenous cows are protected and cultivated and where you can provide whatever service according to your capacity. Because only when the cow is a mother, then we and our children will get milk like nectar. It is also said in Mahabharata. 'Godhanam Rashtravardhanam'.
