Background

In the Indo-Pakistani War of 1971, the Pakistani army and the Pakistani government, after a severe defeat in the Indo-Pakistan war, adopted the strategy of avoiding direct war with the Indian army and keeping a handful of trained jihadis in front of the army with full nourishment and protection, it was guerilla action of disgruntled civilians and publicized and displayed in this way.
Pakistan has been continuously trying to control the Siachen Glacier. In fact, only in 1947 AD, Pakistan had raised its army in tribal guise to control Kashmir. He was brutally beaten up by the Indian forces, but Mr. Jawaharlal Nehru took the matter to the United Nations in the zeal to project himself as a peacemaker. One good thing was that the United Nations had accepted the merger of the princely state of Kashmir with India in 1949 itself as one of its own. The offer was accepted. The reason for this was not Nehru's diplomacy, but because the United States did not consider it appropriate to allow Muslim extremism to be controlled in the world's highest battlefield, due to the awareness of Muslim extremism, this proposal was accepted in the United Nations. The Soviet Union also supported India in this because the Soviet Union had always been a strong opponent of religious extremism and Russia is following the same policy in this matter even after the dissolution of the Soviet Union.
The treaty signed between the Indian and Pakistani armies in Karachi in 1949 in the presence of representatives of the United Nations Peacekeeping Force clearly states that the Indian armies in the north where the ceasefire took place. The right will remain, because the accession of Kashmir to India is completely acceptable to the United Nations. The treaty was signed by Lt Gen Shri Nagesh ji from India side and Major General Cawthorne from Pakistan side. Cawthorne was born in Australia as a British colony and was a London-trained military officer serving in the British Indian Army. After the formation of Pakistan by the plan of England, he became a military officer of Pakistan.
Pakistan never implemented this treaty signed by the military officers of both sides and according to the plan of England and other countries, it continued to work to keep the Siachen Glacier disturbed.

Role of international powers

On the other hand, Western European and American strategists always understood the importance of this highest battlefield in the world and they adopted a multifaceted strategy to control it. On the one hand, a bunch of anti-India traitors were created in India, especially in the name of pacifists, who always insisted on maintaining peace with Pakistan, but no such pressure was ever put on Pakistan. On the other hand, the nutritional activities of military strategy continued under the cover of environmental protection and bio-security. Environmentalists stressed the need to declare the Siachen region as a world heritage, citing the biological richness of Siachen. At a conference held in Darwin, South Africa, Italian geologist Giuliano Talone proposed that the Siachen region be included in the list of World Heritage. The resolution was approved in the conference but the United Nations has not yet accepted it. But efforts by environmentalists and pacifists to establish control of Western Europe and the United States in the Siachen Glacier continue in the name of pacifism.
Siachen is situated at an altitude of about 20 thousand feet and in winter the temperature falls below minus 50 degrees and the snow layer of 35 feet high freezes. Siya means rose in the local language and Chan means group or abundance. Due to the abundance of roses, the name of a hill in this area is Siya Kangri and the name of this entire area is Siachan. Which the British have started calling Siachen.

Constant war

Pakistan's advance in this area was stopped by Operation Meghdoot of the Indian Army in 1984 AD and 3 years later by Operation Rajiv. In fact, the real importance of this area is from the military point of view and China has come to a distance of few kilometers from here. The work of giving this area to China was done by Jawaharlal Nehru in 1949 AD. He did this work under the Soviet International Strategy so that gradually India could be made a completely Soviet sphere of influence. That is why in the name of peace or the environment, there is a mainly military plan behind the attempts of the Europeans to control this area. Europeans and Americans employ a variety of strategies and tactics to establish their control over all important bases. In fact, Pakistan in itself has no status for such an expensive and risky war. He has been doing this work only at the behest of his old European friends.
In the same sequence, in the summer of 1999 AD, Pakistan again launched its army in the Kargil area in the guise of jihadis. The training of all of them was given by the Pakistani Army, the evidence of this is well known. Codenamed Operation Badr, this military campaign started. Whereas in February 1999, a treaty was signed in Lahore, in which both sides promised to settle the dispute in this area peacefully. But on one hand the declaration was being signed and on the other hand the Pakistani army was making full preparations to violate this declaration. This process started to take possession of this beautiful and holy region of Ladakh. As admitted by Lt Gen Shahid Aziz of Pakistan himself in one of his articles. In the Kargil area, the Pakistani army has tried to dominate continuously only after 1949 AD.

Continuation of deceit

At first a small number of people were sent in the guise of jihadis, which the Indian Army initially considered only a local matter and made preparations to settle it. It was then discovered during the campaign that the entire Pakistan army was behind it and then a systematic military campaign was created from the Indian side in the name of Operation Vijay. Pakistan had delivered a huge amount of artillery and weapons to Kargil, located 100 miles away from Skardu town of Pakistan, and the road to Kargil was already built. He first sent a military contingent disguised as Mujahideen to deceive him. The plan was to cut off all relations between Ladakh and the Kashmir Valley and then with the help of different political groups and terrorist groups like Mehbooba Mufti, Farooq Abdullah, Omar Abdullah and Yasin Malik, Pakistan annexed the entire Kashmir Valley. Gone. To cover up its plan, Pakistan has been continuously talking of peace and has been advocating for international mediation for peace so that it gets time to work on its plans. Pervez Musharraf had planned the entire Kargil victory. On the other hand, Pakistani Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif, in response to the call of Indian Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee, said that 'Oh Khuda Kasam Janab, I did not even know about this action of my army.' Nawaz Sharif said that this work was done secretly by Musharraf and his two-three fellow military officers, while Musharraf says that we had informed Nawaz Sharif after making our plan.

Strong reply to deceit

The Pakistan Army had crossed the Line of Control at the time of the Lahore Declaration. Seven battalions were secretly spread far and wide in the Indian territory. Along with this, Kashmir and Afghan Mujahideen were also trained in large numbers and put forward. Infiltration first took place in the area of Dras and later military activities were increased in the Batalik area on the eastern side of the Indus river. For a long time, the Indian Army did not get the news, because the shepherds who used to feed the sheep of that area were also joined by the Pakistani army by giving them religion. Much later a caretaker informed the Indian Army that some people had entered the Indian territory. Initially, the army did not estimate the extent of the operation. When it was decided that in fact the Pakistani army in the guise of Mujahideen would attack operation Vijay was prepared from the Indian side and two lakh soldiers were deployed to encircle the entire area. As is the situation in the Siachen region, only a few thousand soldiers can go forward at a time. The remaining soldiers were kept ready behind. Along with this, the Indian Air Force also started its operation from 26 May to assist the ground forces. This task was difficult because warplanes should not cross the Line of Control, it is a treaty and only international rules. This was the first time the Air Force had waged war at such a height. The Veer Air Force of India took control of the entire area and the Indian Air Force took control of the area from an altitude of 6 thousand to 20 thousand feet. In view of the great danger of direct confrontation, the Pakistani Air Force did not attack directly, as these infiltration are being done by the Mujahideen, not the Pakistani rule, this drama would have collapsed as soon as the Air Force came in front. So they were compelled.

Victory after victory

With the Indian Air Force in complete control of the area, it became easier to hit the invaders, while the Indian Navy was also keeping an eye on the port of Karachi so that the Pakistani Navy could not supply the logistics. Indian navies took control of the Persian Gulf. This also disrupted the supply of oil and fuel to Pakistan. The offensive thus disrupted the relationship between the Pakistani army and the Kargil infiltrators, but by then the infiltrators had captured several peaks and were trying to block the Srinagar-Leh road. The Indian forces very swiftly killed the Pakistani infiltrators from all the posts and secured their borders. Tiger Hill in the Dras region and the Tololin area saw the first success. After this, Indian forces also occupied the Batalik and Turtok areas. On 14 June, Indian forces almost completely occupied the area and finally on 4 July 1999, Nawaz Sharif agreed to the withdrawal of Pakistani forces. However, the Jihadi Council rejected Sharif's action and announced the continuation of Jihad. But all over the world, Pakistan was severely criticized and India's side was justified by all the people. This has given a tremendous setback to Pakistan in its intentions and strengthened India's side. Thus the Kargil victory has shown the enemy his position and the prestige of the Indian forces has increased further.
