Haridwar | 29 August | Ashwagandha awareness campaign is sponsored by National Medicinal Plants Board, Ministry of AYUSH, New Delhi co-State Medicinal Plants Board, Dehradun. Under this, a quiz competition was organized by Patanjali Research Foundation, Haridwar at School of Agricultural Studies, Quantum University, Roorkee the event was organised.
During this, Dr. Uday Bhan Prajapati, scientist of Patanjali Research Foundation, gave a lecture on cultivation of medicinal herbs. After the lecture, a quiz competition on medicinal herbs was organised in which Dr. Gaurav Agarwal, Head of School of Agricultural Studies and agriculture faculty members were present.
A total of 70 students registered for the competition and actively participated in both the lecture and quiz. The session was highly interactive, with students asking many questions about medicinal herbs which were answered by Dr. Uday Bhan Prajapati. At the end of the workshop, stationery kits and certificates were distributed to all the participants. Program coordinator Dr. Shivani Tyagi concluded the session with a vote of thanks.
