Patanjali Mega Food and Herbal Park' Mihan, Nagpur

• In this series, Asia's largest orange processing plant 'Patanjali Mega Food and Herbal Park' by Patanjali in MIHAN, Nagpur was formally inaugurated by the Honorable Minister of Road Transport, Highways and Shipping, Government of India, Shri Nitin Gadkari and the successful Chief Minister of Maharashtra, Shri Devendra Fadnavis.

Nagpur is the land of spirituality and revolution and has given a concrete form to the country and the constitution. Now, from this land, the doors of prosperity for the farmers of the country will be opened through Patanjali's Nav Krishi Kranti.
Technically, Asia's first and the country's largest food processing unit has been started in Nagpur as per the resolve and dreams of the successful Chief Minister of Maharashtra, Shri Devendra Fadnavis and the Honorable Union Minister of Road Transport, Highways and Shipping, Shri Nitin Gadkari, which will play a major role in the economic prosperity of rural India and the well-being of the farmers with full authenticity and reliability. Honorable Union Minister, Shri Nitin Gadkari and the successful Chief Minister of Maharashtra, Shri Devendra Fadnavis have contributed a lot in making this dream come true. This work has taken a concrete shape due to their farsightedness, their pain and compassion towards the farmers and under the leadership of Pujya Swami Ji and revered Acharya Ji.

Mihan Food Park is the single point of food processing and Asia's largest unit

This plant established by Patanjali in Mihan is the single point of food processing and Asia's largest unit. Although there were many obstacles in starting this plant, there was also the Corona period in between, but finally the day came for which the farmers of the region were waiting for years.
As soon as the name of Vidarbha comes, the picture of suicides of farmers and tortured and unhappy farmers is automatically painted. Vidarbha region is known for the pitiable condition and poverty of the farmers, to bring prosperity in the lives of the farmers here, Patanjali has established a huge food processing unit of Patanjali Food and Herbal Park in about 250 acres. Soon this picture will be changed by this orange processing plant of Mihan. The terrible face of the farmers and agricultural system of this entire region will change through this food park established by Patanjali.
This plant has a processing capacity of 800 tonnes per day. In which A-grade as well as B and C grade oranges, pre-mature production, oranges that fall due to storm are also processed. This plant works on zero wastage system. It first starts with orange peels in which volatile and fragrance oil is extracted from orange peels. For this, Patanjali did research on foreign technology and the entire system, because such a large plant cannot be run on the basis of juice alone. Therefore, focus was also given on its by-products. It took Patanjali a lot of time and effort to bring this plant in front of you on the ground.
Today, almost every farmer of every village in MIHAN and surrounding areas is in contact with Patanjali. Patanjali's priority is to provide employment to local people and make local farmers prosperous. Honorable Prime Minister's dream is to create manpower skills in the country by running skill training programs, Patanjali is playing a leading role in it.

In the said plant, a complete advanced system has been developed on the basis of modern standards, which includes packaging line, technopack and advanced research labs. The quality of Patanjali products is top class, for which the entire world market is open. But Patanjali's priority is to provide the best export quality products to the people of the country. Based on the availability of raw material, orange, lime, amla, pomegranate, guava, grapes, gourd, carrot juice, mango and orange pulp and onion and tomato paste will also be made in this unit located in MIHAN.

Features of Patanjali Food and Herbal Park located in MIHAN
●    This plant has been set up in about 250 acres.
●    The production capacity of this plant is 800 tonnes per day. So far, an investment of about 1000 crores has been made to set up this huge processing unit and Patanjali management plans to invest another 500 to 1000 crores. It is located 17 km from Zero Mile and about 11 km from the airport.
●    For this entire process, complete hi-tech machinery has been brought from JBT Company Italy and America, Bucher Unipectin Switzerland and ALFA LAVAL Sweden.
●    This plant has been set up using different modern technologies. Here, we have worked on 100% recycling and zero percent waste policy of oranges by removing the sourness and bitterness of the fruits through DE-acidification and DE-bittering plant and producing by-products like oil, aroma, dried peel, citrus concentrate, premium pulp and cold pressed oil (CPO).
●    Apart from this, a 2000 metric ton deep freeze plant with capacity of minus (-) 18 to 20 degree Celsius has also been established here. Along with this, India's first real time drying powder making plant is also here which makes powder for cosmetic and animal feed industry from the peels of citrus fruits.
●    In this, 30 lakh liters underground water storage, 3 lakh liters overhead tank, RO, DM have been installed under the complete ecofriendly and naturefriendly system in the utility system. Along with this, utility facility equipped with advanced level additional facilities and technology has also been provided to run this entire plant.
●    All kinds of fruits like orange, seasonal fruits, grapes, pomegranate, papaya, guava, amla, aloe vera will be processed here. Juice can be extracted from vegetables like tomato, carrot, gourd etc. There is also a plan to launch tetra pack natural juice here in which no kind of preservative or sugar will be used.
●    This food processing unit of Nagpur will provide market to the farmers' products not only for Nagpur but also for entire Maharashtra including Vidarbha, Madhya Pradesh and Chhattisgarh. Through this processing unit, the farmer will no longer be helpless but will become the owner. Farmers will not have to look anywhere else or look at anyone else to sell their produce on their own terms.
●    At present, about 800 to 1,000 people are getting employment directly and indirectly from this project, with its expansion, soon employment will be created for 8,000 to 10,000 people here.
●    As long as there are lakhs of Patanjali workers and the blessings of crores of countrymen under the able leadership of Pujya Swami Ji, this campaign and dimension of prosperity in the country and happiness in the lives of farmers run through Patanjali will continue uninterrupted. This is not the end of the journey, but the beginning of the journey.
