Destruction and destruction are more dangerous than robbery

There is enough discussion on the use of Indian wealth and resources by British groups for their own benefit during their rule over almost half of India from 1858 to 1947. Similarly, there is a lot of discussion on the open fraud and looting done by the dacoits and robber employees of the East India Company between 1757 and 1857. The robbery committed by Clive and Hastings and the money looted from Bengal, that is, the amount of rent collected as Diwan of their Indian masters and the looted money that they themselves hid from their British masters and secretly took it to their house, are also well known cases. The book-like description of the charges leveled against him by the famous British parliamentarian Edmund Burke in the Parliament of England has already been published in Hindi in 1966 from Prayag under the name “Warren Hastings Ka Mukadma: Ek Mahaabhiyog”. The original English book was written by Edmund Burke himself, which was translated by our friend and famous socialist writer Shri Omkar Sharad ji at the same time. In it, on the very first day i.e. on 15 February 1788, Edmund Burke while giving the opening statement of the impeachment had said that "It is well known that unlimited wealth has come to England from India through thousands of means, directly and secretly. Due to this greed for wealth, our nation England is going on the path of decline." These people not only cheated and forged their masters Nawabs and Hindu Jagirdars and widowed queens of Bengal, but also snatched the wealth of ordinary rich people and widows. Along with this, these people committed terrible adulteries, created fake courts, appointed fake lawyers and fake judges and by getting arbitrary decisions from them, lakhs of rupees were snatched from hundreds of people of Bengal in the name of fines. Hastings himself, who had joined the company after receiving a very basic primary education, declared himself a judge and gave many judgments and made his own company employees witnesses in these cases. Any jagirdar or rich person who went against Hastings was hanged after a false case was filed against him. Many people were secretly murdered. Along with this, he also ran the business of kidnapping and ransom. Huge amounts were collected by auctioning the jagirs acquired forcibly. In the beginning, he betrayed and cheated even those kings who trusted the company and supported them in business and gave them protection for doing business. The details of all this are in that case.
But Hastings was just one person. Clive had committed similar misdeeds and hundreds of other company officers had committed similar sins. He betrayed and betrayed the jagirdars who had shown mercy and made him their gumasta, and instead of depositing the collected money in the treasury, he himself started taking it to London whenever he got a chance. In this way, these employees of the company looted crores of rupees and gold, silver and diamonds and jewels. When they were being chased away, they made a false complaint to their masters in England that the rebels were killing all the European men and women. Therefore, the King of England should send his army to protect us.
The King of England did not have the courage to send an army against a large nation like India. Because till then England had only a few thousand soldiers. Therefore, the king sent his envoys and many kings of India too, due to jealousy, hatred and competition with other Indian kings, had already established relations with the rulers of England and made treaties of mutual cooperation. Therefore, taking advantage of all this, some units of the British army came to India in 1857 and with the help of the guards formed by the company in India, which they called army, and with the help of the armies of many Indian kings and nawabs, England took over the rule of almost half of India. On behalf of the Queen of England, it was announced by beating drums at various places that from today my nephew will be the first Viceroy of our part of India and we will not impose Christianity here like in England, but the Hindus here will have complete freedom to follow the Hindu religion and the Muslims will have the freedom to follow their religion, all people will have complete freedom to follow their own religion and we will have friendly relations with the rest of the kings of India and we will not interfere in their boundaries and will not interfere in their rules of succession etc.
For 90 years, England ruled over half of India. They did not dare to loot it directly because they were afraid that they would be killed if they did so, while at the same time, the same British were openly looting many places in America and Africa. The farmers of India have always been soldiers as well, so the British could not dare to loot here, but by making wrong laws and making the trade exchange unjust, they took a lot of wealth from India to England. They took India's cotton, woolen and silk clothes, spices, metal utensils and dry fruits etc. and jewelry at cheap prices and manipulated the money in this form and forcibly sold their crude type of clothes and other items to the Indian traders at very high prices. Along with this, whatever police and army they kept for the protection of their kingdom, the entire cost of that was put on the Indian treasury. Also, in the two world wars they fought, 15 lakh soldiers were taken from India in the first war and 25 lakh in the second, the expenditure burden of all these soldiers was also put on the treasury of India. Along with this, most of the arms, supplies and other war materials were mainly taken from India. The Indians who supported the British in this work were given titles like Rai Bahadur, Sir, Lord etc. and the Indian kings who supported them were also given military titles and they were also included in the European war. And all this expenditure burden was imposed on India. An attempt was made to make those people who openly supported the British in all these works as the national leaders of India.
Patriotic and honest Indians published factual documents and books on all these subjects in which it was told how the British were looting wealth from India. Among these, the books of authors like Dadabhai Naoroji, Sundarlal, Rameshchandra Dutt and Rajni Palm Dutt are world famous. Due to these, world public opinion was formed against the British rule in India and with the rise of Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose, the British started fearing to stay in India and the British were shaken by the battles fought by the Azad Hind Fauj and when the atmosphere in India was in favour of Netaji even among the supporters of the British and the Indian armies raised by the British, they had to decide to leave India. Gandhiji, Nehruji and their colleagues helped a lot in making this departure of the British from India respectable.
Even after all the looting and all the manipulation of accounts, when the British left India, despite their cunning accounting statements, India still owed millions of pounds to England.
Thus, more important than the looting is the destruction of India's own indigenous structures. This was never discussed by the people who got power by the grace of the British. The truth is that England certainly got a lot of support from the looting here, but they were able to take away only a very small part of the huge amount of wealth and gold, silver, diamonds and jewels that India has. This fact is often hidden. Along with this, the large number of Indian weavers they murdered, starved, chopped off their thumbs or hands, the large number of people they made to do forced labour for building railways and roads and paid them very low wages, the way they harassed other artisans, the atrocities they committed against farmers, the famines and droughts they deliberately spread, epidemics and venereal diseases, all these are also discussed relatively less. Only poverty was discussed. The reason for this was that Jawaharlal Nehru wanted to create a totalitarian state in India in imitation of the Communist Soviet Union and wanted party officials and government employees to control people's food and water, agriculture and crops, cattle and agricultural animals, grains and seeds, methods of agriculture, etc. Along with this, he wanted the government party to control education and the media with the sinister purpose of completely controlling the minds and hearts of the people. Thus, the structure of education that the British had imposed on half of India in the second half of the 19th century was imposed on the whole of India by Nehru's government and the Indian education tradition was thrown out of the mainstream of the nation. To prevent widespread discussion on such a terrible sin, the government made English the medium of national dialogue instead of Indian languages, with which most Indians are unfamiliar. By conveniently linking itself with both the communist Soviet Union and Euro-American camps, the Congress government marginalized the Indian knowledge tradition forever. Similarly, the Ministry of Health accepted the main responsibility of strengthening relations with the international network of allopathy. As a result, the world's oldest Ayurveda Shastra and the vast knowledge of herbs were put in a state of neglect.
Along with this, decisions were continuously taken against the interests of India and in favour of European interests in trade exchanges. For this, the responsibility of trade treaties and bargaining was also put on those government officials who were only experts in law and order and were inexperienced and ignorant about trade. So that commission and brokerage could be done at the behest of the ruling leaders. It is a matter of joy that this situation has completely changed under the rule of Shri Narendra Modi and now trade exchanges are happening in favour of India, due to which the treasury of the Government of India is overflowing. This is the same treasury about which the rulers of the Congress Party always used to cry about scarcity and in the name of poverty removal, they used to take huge loans from foreign countries on their terms and had tied the country with the noose of debt. In this way, it was very easy to compensate for the loot done by the British, but the process of destroying the traditions of indigenous education and knowledge and institutions and the structures of justice and behaviour is extremely destructive. Due to this, ignorance and anarchy has been increased in India, especially among Hindus, at the intellectual level. First of all, poverty, which was not the main problem of India but the problem of inequality, was replaced by the cry of poverty. In the name of poverty removal, the government tightened its grip on the economic life of India. As a result, people's own efforts were obstructed. Then people were deliberately made dependent on the government. Due to this, laziness and negligence became widespread. All the agility and cleverness remained in the government system, party system and new business groups protected by the government. Only a few people could make efforts independently, especially those who had special talent.
The intellectual structures were completely changed. As a result, the government education system created false academic debates. False gossips were created in the name of history to deliberately spread inferiority and shame within the main Indian society. Europe was falsely glorified. By obstructing the flow of knowledge of millions of years, Indian students were forced to study only whatever work has been done in the field of humanities in Europe in the last hundred-one hundred and fifty years as global knowledge. This is an act that destroys the structures of the field of knowledge. Thus, the destruction of indigenous structures is the main issue. In Indian politics, there are still discussions of economic loot, but complete oblivion of Indian standards of thinking, understanding, health, knowledge, strength, purity, beauty and excellence has been spread. This is the great destruction. Because the corruption of memory leads to destruction of intellect and destruction of intellect leads to great destruction. Destruction of intellect means destruction and transformation of the basic form of society and nation. This transformation and conversion of India is the most horrific thing. Due to the new political leadership, this direction has changed in the last ten years and India is again trying to regain its original nature. The main issue in this matter is that it is necessary to stop lamenting about economic loot and worry about intellectual, cultural and spiritual oblivion and corruption. Only then will India's prosperity and power based on its indigenous lifestyle flourish.
