All the living beings in the world are born out of mind and become a part of life and it is our mind which keeps our life dynamic. Where there is dynamism control is also important there at the same time. If we talk at material level it becomes evident that it is necessary to use brake to keep the speed of a vehicle under control. And it is a reality that the driver keeps using break during his journey occasionally and finally he arrive at his destination. About control of mind Lord Krishna has said -

Ashansayam Mahabaho Mano Durnigraham Chalam l
Abhyasen Tu Kaunteya Vairagyena Cha Grihayate ll (Geeta, A.6, Shloka- 35)

Fickle mind can be controlled with difficulty there is no doubt in it but with the practice of best things one can have proper control over his mind as Goswami Tulsidas has said that everything in the world keeps getting deviated from its path like when the air blows all the leaves of trees start shaking and similarly that kind of situation appears the mind of every living being becomes getting deviated as it is like uncontrolled running horse-

Yastvavigyanvan Bhavatyayuktena Mansa Sada l
Tasyendriyanyavashyanti Dushtashva Eva Sarthe ll

Our mind is is the Charioter and when it sees the greenery of forest which is like the material pleasure it keeps running here and there. 
You can take the example of any generation which makes it clear that those who could not keep their mind under control the definitely have to confront difficulties in life and in the era of Satya Yuga Hiranyakashipu and in the Treta era Ravana and in the dwapar era Duryodhana lost their control of mind therefore despite being strong and wealthy and very powerful they all Got ruined. It has been well said that those who act without proper contemplation they repented later.

Our mind can know what is right and what is wrong and occasionally we quite often experience this that our mind is is a treasure of of infinite power but we get deviated from the natural course of mind and start running after unnecessary Desire to fulfill them and it is a fact that most of our desires are not natural but they are basically due to the pressure from our family or society like our desire to earn lots of money but we are never born with money it is is this desire which we inherit from our society. If I tell you that you just think what is that the society has not given to you and you will be surprised about what it could be and those who have tendency in Virtuous things I will say that they will talk of of God and many other people will say a that we are aware of God but it could be the truth but many other people would like to know about there is period of which knowledge can be obtained in many birth while it is God which is is the supreme controller of all the Spirits but all this can be possible if we have control over our mind but we mostly think about our body and not about our mind all the time and we are engaged in fulfilling the needs of our body but we never try to fulfill the needs of our mind like most of our energy is spent what to eat to keep our body healthy and enjoy the taste of food how to get attractive look therefore mostly focus on our body which is external and we never think of our mind and its needs.
Just imagine if you know one day that you are going to die in a few moments then what will be the condition of your mind and what will be the things of which you will think it is necessary?

Bandhayaavishyaasaktam Muktaiya Nirvishnam Manah l

A man is free and he can be in shackles only due to his mind because body does not have even slightest of strength as it has been surrounded by old age diseases and Ud animes like death and this body is like unbaked pottery and can be broken very easy.

How so much attractive the lamp of our body might be and how beautiful it might have been decorated but its natural beauty e will appear only with the burning of the light of mind.

The light of mind can be seen only when it burns and it can be lit bhaiya capable teacher because it is our teacher who can take us in the right direction because if we don't have the knowledge of our direction especially the right one then even rising sun will appear like the sun getting to be set.
