Till about 1500 years ago from now, there were many big universities in this country, where the Gurukul tradition was prevalent today. From Takshashila University to Vikram Shila University to Nalanda University, there were many such educational institutions in this country, which had lit the flame of education in such a way that the whole world was illuminated. Where knowledge of philosophy, mathematics, science, medicine, arts etc. was also imparted. Then a long series of educational slavery started in the country. Macaulay, a British officer, was sent from Britain to India so that he could mentally enslave the Indians.
Whatever Baba Ramdev is doing is a revolution in itself. Baba Ramdev ji has the special ability that he has made such an ancient system accessible to the public by modifying it according to the modern society. Many people in this country have taken the help of Yoga taught by Baba Ramdev for the treatment of many minor and major diseases and are also taking it in foreign countries. Following the footsteps of Maharishi Dayanand, I have kept nationalism supreme over Yogadharma. Maharishi on one hand Dayanand talked about Veda Dharma, Sanatan Dharma and on the other hand he prepared sacrificers who would sacrifice everything for the national religion. Patanjali will prepare flag bearers of Gurukul Sanatan who will propagate Indian culture all over the world. We received education from Gurukul and established a huge economic empire for the service of humanity. Presently, there is a plan to prepare Patanjali Gurukulam and Acharyakulam at a cost of Rs 500 crore and the target is to spend Rs 5 to 10 thousand crore in the next 5 years in the development of education. In Treta era Maryada Purushottam, Lord Ram and in Dwapar, Yogeshwar Krishna received education in Gurukuls.
