Mother cow is the basis of all living beings.
Gao Vishwasya Matar:
Cow is the mother of the entire world.
Mother cow and earth are two forms of cow. Just as Mother Earth lovingly tolerates the disgusting practices of humans living on earth like excreta, urine, etc., similarly Mother Cow, being the basis of human life, tolerates their disgusting practices like carrying, restraining and beating. Therefore, in Vedas, Earth and cow have been used by the word 'Mahi'. Even among humans, those who are tolerant, that is, forgiving, are considered great. There is no one more forgiving than Mother Earth and Cow in the world. Therefore, both of them are great. Where Mother Cow lives, there is always a complete kingdom of happiness and peace. In the scriptures, cow has been said to be full of all gods and all pilgrimages, hence, by seeing a cow, one gets the virtue of seeing all the gods and visiting all the pilgrimages. In Shukla Yajurveda, a question has been asked regarding Mother Cow and Earth, its answer is given in the next mantra - Gostu maatra na vidyate. ‘23/49’ is not the quantity of cow.
Wherever cow resides, there is always peace and happiness.

By seeing the cow, touching the cow, worshiping the cow, remembering the cow, chanting the praises of the cow and donating the cow, man becomes free from all sins and attains eternal heaven. By circumambulating cow-mother, Brihaspati became worshipable by everyone, Madhav became worshipable by everyone and Indra became prosperous. Cow dung, cow milk, cow milk, cow dung etc. all the substances are considered to be pure, healthy, fast-providing, health-enhancing and strength-enhancing substances. This is the reason why Panchgavya and the law of every source of Aryan caste, Smartashubha Karma, has been prevalent and accepted since time immemorial.

It is that I should always see the cows and the cows should be kind to me. The cows are ours and we belong to the cows. Wherever the cows live, we should live there. Cows should live in front of me, cows should live behind me, cows should live around me and I should live among the cows. In Chandogya Upanishad, there is a story of the glory of Mother Cow and the knowledge of Brahman.
There was a virtuous Brahmin woman whose name was Jabala. She had a son named Satyakam. When he became capable of studying, one day he said to his mother, “Mother, I want to live in Gurukul. If they ask me my name and gotra, then which gotra will I tell?” On this, the mother said, “Son, I did not get the opportunity to ask your father about my gotra because in those days I was always busy serving the guests. Therefore, when the teacher asks you about your gotra, then you should just say that I am Satyakam, son of Jabala.” Taking his mother's permission, Satyakam went to Haridrumat Gautam Rishi and said, "I have come to serve you in celibacy." Acharya ji asked, "Son, what is your gotra?" Satyakam said, "Lord, what is my gotra? I do not know this. I am Satyakam Jabala. This is all I know about this." Gautam Rishi said, "Son, no one can tell the truth in such a simple way except a Brahmin. Go and bring some firewood. I will perform your Upanayana ceremony." After performing Satyakam's Upanayana, Gautam Rishi brought four hundred weak cows in front of him and said, "Take them to graze in the forest and do not bring them back until their number reaches one thousand." He said, "Lord, I will not return until their number reaches one thousand." Satyakam went to the forest with the cow and there he built a hut and started living there and started serving the cow with all his heart and soul. Gradually the number of cows increased to one thousand. Then one day a bull came to Satyakam and said, “Son, our number has increased to one thousand, now you take us to the Acharyakul. Along with this, I am going to teach you one step regarding the Brahma element, it is in the form of light. The second step of this will be told by Agni.”
Satyakam went ahead with the cows. When it was evening, he stopped the cows and after giving them water, arranged for their night rest there. After that, he lit a fire by burning wood. Agni said, “Satyakam, I am telling you the second step of Brahma, it is infinite in character, the next teaching will make you laugh.”
The next day Satyakam arranged for the night rest of the cows under a banyan tree. He was sitting after lighting the fire when a water rooster came and called out and said, son, I am telling you the fourth step of Brahma, it is in the form of volume. In this way, after getting the knowledge of Sachchidanand Dhanlakshan Paramatma from those gods, Satyakam reached Acharya Gautam with a thousand cows. Seeing his worry-free, divine face, Acharya ji said, 'Son, you look like a Brahmgyani (enlightened sage). Satyakam said that Lord, I have received knowledge from other humans, I have heard that the knowledge received from an Acharya like you is the best, so you only teach me completely. The Acharya was very happy and said, son, what you have received is the Brahma element and he again preached that complete element in the same way. In the scriptures, cow-sacrifice for the welfare of cows is also said to be an important means. In the Vedic period, big cow-sacrifices and cow-festivals used to be held. Lord Krishna also performed 'cow-sacrifice' on the occasion of Gauvardhan worship. In the Cow Yagya, works like cow worship, cow worship, Vrishabh worship etc. were performed for the purpose of cow protection and cow protection based on the Vedic Gausukta, which has special benefits in cow protection, cow enrichment, cow propagation and cow association etc. Considering the real situation in the present times, there is a special need for cow yagya or cow protection mahayagya everywhere in cow-dominant India. Therefore, the cow-bearer prays to Lord Shri Krishna Nand to organize a yagya for the protection of cows and appeal to all the countrymen. All Indians are religious lovers and cow servants. There should be 'cow sacrifice' in the hearts of Hindus and as a result of those cow sacrifices, the sweet sound of these Mahabharata virtuous verses should always emanate from every Hindu brother, so that there will be all-round welfare of the country and society.

When a female calf is born, first of all they drink only their mother's milk and immediately start running like the speed of the wind. Apart from the cow calf, no other creature in the world, from humans to insects, etc. has such a strange power and energy that it starts running like a cow calf as soon as it is born. That is why when a child is born in the human race, first of all for the birth of intelligence, according to the formula "Madhughrite praashyatighritam va", gold is rubbed in honey and cow ghee or gold is rubbed in cow ghee and then the child is fed cow milk. Therefore, the cow is called mother. Our mothers ensure our welfare in this world by feeding us their milk during childhood for a maximum of two-two and a half years, but Mother Cow nourishes us in this world by feeding us her nectar-like milk throughout our life and after our death she takes us to heaven, as has been said in Atharvaveda as well:

According to this sentence, scholars have called the cow his wealth.
“Dhenum: Sadanam Rachiyam”| (Atharva 1/1/35)
It is the house of cow wealth.

Cow is the mother of the eleven Rudras, the daughter of the eighth Vasus and the sister of the twelve Adityas, and gives milk in the form of nectar.
