Function of Kidney

It is important to understand how the kidney works because without it, toxic substances start accumulating in the body. The structural units of the kidney are called Nephrons. The proximal tubules present in them reabsorb important elements like glucose, water and amino acids and make them available to the body.
But when any medicine or toxic substance has a bad effect on the kidney, this functioning gets disturbed and the level of toxic elements in the body increases.

Side effects of increasing use of allopathic medicines

Nowadays, allopathic medicines are being used a lot. Their excessive and long-term consumption gives rise to many serious problems. Kidney failure is also one of them. Vancomycin is an antibiotic that is given to treat antibiotic-resistant bacteria, MRSA. However, long-term use of this drug can cause serious damage to the kidney.

Research shows that in 5-35% of cases, the ability of the kidney to function decreases due to vancomycin. Due to this, the patient has to stay in the hospital for a longer time for treatment, his cost of medicines and treatment also increases and the risk of death also increases. Kidney damage due to vancomycin is mainly due to three reasons -
●    First, it increases reactive oxygen species (ROS) in the body, which damages the kidney cells.
