Sanskrit is the oldest language in the world, and the Vedas are the oldest works of literature in the world. We believe that the Supreme Father God revealed the four Vedas in the holy consciousness of the four sages named Agni, Vayu, Aditya and Angira for the welfare of mankind. The words 'Sarvajnanamayohi saḥ', 'sarva vedat prasidhyati', 'vedo'khilo dharmamoolam' etc. prove that there are all kinds of excellent gems in the ocean of Vedas. The rivers of Indian literature, which constantly flow with the nectar of knowledge from Gangotri in the form of Vedas, contain abundant water in the form of various knowledge, which can be abluted and eternal bliss can be obtained.
In Vedic Vaghomaya and worldly Sanskrit literature, all the knowledge of the world and many streams of knowledge and science are presented directly or indirectly. The sages have the ability to clearly see the deepest mysteries of the world with their blinding wisdom and wisdom.
Every day in thousands of Saraswati Shishu temples of India, the names of those great scientists who became immortal after doing amazing work in the field of science are remembered -
Vaigyanikashcha Kapilah Kanadah Sushrutastatha l
Charako Bhaskaracharyo Varahmihirah Sudhih ll
Nagarjuno Bharadwaj Aryabhato
Vasurbudhah l
Dhyeyo Venkatramashcha Vigya Ramanujadayah ll
There is no field of literature, music, art and science in which our memorable Rishikalpa litterateurs, musicians, artists and scientists have not had the eye-catching achievements.
Gift of zero
Zero was invented by Indians. Without this void, today mathematics cannot move forward a step. 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, then by adding one zero it becomes one ten, by adding two zeros it becomes hundred, then one thousand, again ten thousand, and keeps increasing. No work was done on it in Europe before 15-16th century, whereas this void is mentioned in our Vedas itself.
In this great tradition of mathematicians, the name of Shankaracharya Swami Shri Krishnatirtha Ji Bharti is taken with utmost respect.
Whose 'Vedic Mathematics' is a very popular work.
The great mathematician Arya Bhatta, in the fourth century, discovered the radius, its the diameter and pi ratio are presented. they found rosh the value of is said to be 3-14159256. to so many decimal points he has replied. How could all this have been done? diameter will be drawn and it must have been measured. Today everyone in the field of mathematics knows this ratio, but how Aryabhata would have calculated it in the fourth century is a matter of great surprise.
The detailed knowledge of geometry described extensively in the Shulba Sutras within the Vedanga literature astonishes us. From this point of view, Bodhayana Shulb Sutra is very famous. Which is currently called Pythagoras theorem and which is being used in his name, in fact, two hundred years before Pythagoras, the same theorem was famous in our country by the name of Bodhayana Sutra. These sides on both sides of the right angles are squared and their sum is equal to the square of the highpot news.
This is explained in the Bodhayana Sutra. While making sacrificial altars, their shapes and sizes were kept in different types. Bodhayana Sutra was widely used in the construction of these altars. The work done by ancient mathematicians in the field of mathematics is still guiding us today.
World's first surgeon Sushruta
In the sixteenth century in England, Harvey discovered how blood circulates in the body and how it moves. Sushruta Charak had described all these activities in detail in India 2500 years ago. In his Sushruta Samhita, there is a description of the instruments used in surgery like knives, scissors, tongs etc. Sushruta had performed such surgeries during that period, which are surprising to read. At that time plastic surgery was at a very advanced stage. It was used on soldiers who were injured in wars. The soldiers whose ears, nose etc. were cut off in the war were repaired through plastic surgery.
Various types of medicines were mentioned in Charak Samhita somewhere information about amazing medicines like Sarpagandha, Ashwagandha, Punarnava etc. has been given. Sarpagandha was used to induce sleep. It was also used to bring peace to mind and brain. Today, many types of medicines being manufactured in foreign countries are being made on the basis of Indian pharmaceutical science.
Molecular science
In Indian philosophy, Maharishi Kapil Muni has given a beautiful depiction of human creation under the origin of creation by describing 25 elements in Sankhya philosophy, while Maharishi Kanad, the author of Vaisheshika, while propounding the theory of atomism in 600 BC, said that atoms are indivisible. And is directionless. In Vaisheshika philosophy, it has been made clear in the seven divisions of substances that the special properties of substances are indicative of the objects of the world - today's scientists call this principle as follows - Spectrum is the language of atoms. We can say that the theory of atomism is the gift of ancient Sanskrit scholars.
Similarly, the Pilupak theory is also propounded by Maharishi Kanad. Its basis is modern physics Kinetic Theory of Gases. Like Kanada, it is said that the molecule first breaks, then heat enters it. After that it comes in full form. Today's scientists explain the use of Thermo-dynamic Theory in this.
Thousands of years ago, a detailed discussion of gravity is available in a book called Surya-Siddhanta. For example, the invisible God sitting at the Node point pulls the planets with invisible rays.
'Adrishyarupah Kalasya Murtyo Bhagnashritah'. Bhaskaracharya in his book Siddhant Shiromani in 1150 AD, he has discussed the application of gravity on the objects located on the earth. Earth has the power of attraction. Due to this power, an object thrown towards the sky appears to fall on the earth. The reality is that the Earth pulls it towards itself because the sky exists equally everywhere. It is clearly stated in the famous book of philosophy, Tarkasangraha (16th century) – 'Aadyapatnaa Samavayikaranatvam Gurutvam. In the western world, the theory of gravity propounded by the modern scientist Newton (1652- 1727 AD) is mentioned in Sanskrit literature hundreds of years ago as the power of attraction.
The Chhandah Sutra of Acharya Pighaul (2nd century BC) discusses 'Prastar method', which is used in many applications including computers happens in scientific processes. This is Pascal's Triangle of modern mathematics. N.L.P of modern computer science. The concept related to 'Natural Language Processing' is mainly based on the principles of Sanskrit grammar.
Nasadiya Sukta of Rigveda is very important regarding the origin of creation. Just look at the first mantra of the Sukta-
Nasadasit No Sadasit Tadanim
Nasid Rajo No Vyoma Paro Yata l
Kimavarivah Kuha Kasya Sharman,
Ambhah Kimasid Gahanam Gabhiram ll Rig. 10- 129 -1
There was no existence before the world was created. Meaning of Sat which is the substance exist, all of them. None of today's substances existed at that time. Asat means that which never happens. All the existing things today like sky, air, water, sun, earth etc. are real. First the word 'Sat' was formed and by adding the negative sub-word 'A' to it, the word 'Asat' was formed. Without imagining the real thing, an unreal thing cannot be created. If the horse is true then the flying horse is unreal. Before the creation of the universe, no such thing existed.
Or false, at that time there was no 'Raj' (world). Apna Bhoolok is well known. The meaning of 'lok' is clear, where only lok i.e. living beings can live. For living beings to exist, an Earth-like planet and an energy-giving Sun are necessary. A solar array is formed by combining the Sun and the planets. The word folk is used here for Surya Mala. This type of world or solar system did not exist at the time of creation. Modern science also accepts this thinking.
'Raj' also means particle. Today's science also recognizes the Vedas that no particles existed before the creation of the world. The sages say that there was no sky at the time of creation of the world.
Modern science has not expressed any opinion on this. They all think further assuming the existence of sky and an original air. This also shows that our sages and scientists had reach where today's science has not been able to reach.
In this way, by seriously pondering over all the verses of Nasadiya Sukta, many secrets can be revealed.
While Maharishi Dayanand has discussed various subjects in the commentary on Rigveda, he has also presented discussion on some scientific subjects. Such as- the subject of traveling around the earth the subject of attraction, the subject of astronomy, the subject of the basics of medicine, etc.
The Vedas sometimes shed light on science in detail and sometimes briefly. As-
The sun gives light to the moon. The sun's ray called Sushumna illuminates the moon. The Niruktaka Yaska has also made this fact clear: Sushumna is the sun, rays and the moon is the Gandharva. (Yaju-18-40)
Yet Asyaiko Rashmishchandramasam Prati Divyate (Nirukta 2-6) The basis of the sun's energy is Soma (Hydrogen, Helium) Hydrogen. 'Somenaditya Balinah' (Atharva 14-1-2)
In Yajurveda, the essence of water is said to be in the sun. This explains the existence of helium, the smallest form of hydrogen, in the Sun. This scientific fact has been mentioned in Yajurveda that not only the Earth rotates in its orbit, but the Sun also rotates in its orbit cuts out. The whole world is spinning.-
Samavavarti Prithivi Samushah Samu Suryah . Samu visvamidam jagat (Yaju-20-23)
The sun is the soul of the entire movable and immovable world. The sun is this power the source of it-
'Surya Atma Jagatastasthushashcha .
(Atharva- 13-2-35)
It has been said about water that it contains fire (Oxygen) and Som (Hydrogen) both the elements are mixed.
An important formula of Botany is found in Atharvaveda. In trees and plants through the life saving element (Chiorophyll) there is greenery:
Avivainaam Devata Ritenaste Parivrata l
Tasya Rupena Mei Vriksha Harita Haritastraja (Atharva 10- 8- 31)
The 'Vaimanik Prakarana' of Maharishi Bharadwaja's 'Yantrasarvasva' gives a detailed description of the construction of aircraft and their various devices. The study of this text shows that there were many texts on aviation in ancient India. The following reference to Brihad Viman Shastra indicates this subject:
Narayana, Shaunaka, Garga and Vachaspatistatha l
Chakrayanidhundinathashcheti Shastra Kritah Swayam ll
Viman Chandrika Vyomayan Tantra Stathaiva Cha l
Yantrakalpo Yan Binduh Khetayan Pradipika ll
Vyomayanarka Prakashshcheti Shashtrani Shat Kramat l
Narayanadimunibhih Proktani Gyanvittamaih ll
Brihad Vimanshastra 1, 34-36
From their study it is also known that these aircraft could move equally on earth, water and space and through them they could travel across countries, inter-island and different worlds.
Maharishi Bhardwaj has also admitted that he had received this knowledge from studying Vedas-
Trayi Hridaya Sandoha Sarrupam Sukhapradam l
Anayasada Vyom Yaan Swaroop Gyansadhanam ll
Vaimanik Prakaranam Kathyateasmin Yatha Vidhi ll
Brihadavimanashastram, Mangalacharanam
In Rigveda and Atharvaveda, the huge ozone layer has been indicated by the word 'Mahanulb'. The membrane or membrane above the womb is called amnion. Just as it protects the unborn child, similarly this 'great ozone layer' (ozone layer) protects the world. In Atharvaveda its color is considered to be golden (deer form). In Rig Veda, this has been called a broad and thick layer, through which the aquatic environment is controlled.
Mahat Tadulbam Sthaviram Tadasidyenavishthitah Praviveshithapah l
Rigveda- 10.51.1
Apo Vatsam Janayantigarbhamagre Sameryan Tasyot Jayamanasyolba Asid Hiranyayah l
Atharva 4.2.8
According to modern science, this ozone layer is 15 to 30 km from the surface. Is at a height of. It absorbs the sun's ultraviolet rays, which are extremely harmful for trees and plants. Ozone purifies water and air.
In Vedic and secular ancient Sanskrit literature, physics, chemistry, engineering, architecture, agriculture, commerce, political science, psychology, philosophy, sociology, pedagogy etc. have been discussed beautifully and in detail. The subtle thinking done in relation to Yagya Vigyan, Hydrology and Horticulture along with the environment leaves us astonished and happy. Putreshti Yagya and Vareshti Yagya are the unique gifts of our ancient acharyas to the world. There is no field of knowledge and science in which the sages and sages of this country have not made great contributions. The call of time is that Sanskrit scholars should join hands with the authentic scholars of modern science to show the path to happiness, peace and prosperity through new research.
