Contribution of Patanjali in the field of Education

The word education emanates from vidyopadane dhatu. It means that to grasp education and to assimilate knowledge in character. In fact, the education help human being attain enlightenment. In the present context, the meaning of education is limited to collecting information, while vedic tradition says that the education builds divine personality. The word education has been used in broader context in the vedic tradition. There are various examples in the ancient vedic vangamaya. According to vedic point of view, the education is the element without which the human being is like an animal. The refinement is the basic ingredient of children's personality. 
Refinement can be divided into two parts-

1)     Pre-conception refinement
2)     Post-conception refinement

Special arrangement has been made to check both types of refinement in vedic tradition. Various prakalp of Patanjali yogapeeth are trying hard to bring back rishi era.
