  Back pain is the most commonly experienced pain in the joints related to the body. There is also a pain named "sciatica" in this back pain. This nerve starts in the lower part of the waist and runs as a branch down both legs and runs through the hips and buttocks.
●When there is pressure on this nerve for some reason, you experience sciatica.
●Sciatica pain in people between the ages of 30 and 50 is more likely to happen.

cause:

●    Slip disc
●    Spinal stenosis
●    Spadillolisthesis
●    Piriformis syndrome
●    Lifting heavy weights
●    Being overweight
●    Any injury / accident etc. •
●    Bad posture

Symptoms:

●    Weakness and numbness in the legs.
●    Stinging like a needle in the toes of the feet.
●    Loss of control over routine actions which can also be called "Cauda-equina syndrome".
●    Reflex Impairment
●    Sciatic Scoliosis

Prevention

●    Maintaining correct body posture while standing, getting up, sitting, walking daily.
●    Controlling body weight.
●    Build strength and flexibility in the abdominal and spinal muscles while doing exercises. * Using cushions and supports while sitting in a chair and
●    Providing a good position for the hips while sitting on the chair.
●    Quit smoking.

Testing:

●    Sciatica is a symptom which can be due to many reasons.
●    To test this, the doctor takes a complete medical history, such as about the injury, about the pain, reasons for getting better and worse, how and when the pain started.
●    Physical examination of the muscles and joints of the body.
●    Imaging tests like X-ray, MRI, CT Scans also aid in testing.

Remedy:

Following medicines given to treat sciatica
●    Anti-inflammatory drugs
●    Muscle relaxant drugs
●    Narcotics
●    Tricyclic antidepressants
●    Physical therapy
●    Steroid Injections
●    Alternative solutions such as
●    Acupuncture
●    Chiropractic
●    Physical treatment
●    Ultrasound: Improves circulation by gradually warming up the muscles, it gives relief to the stiff muscles.
●    Transcutaneous electrical nerve stimulation : (Tens): Reduces intensity and stiffness of muscles and numbness of nerves using small and controlled amounts of electricity.
●    Laser Therapy: Class 3 and Class 4 lasers are used in this. It eliminates inflammation while relieving pain and calms the tension on the nerve.
●   Short Wave Diathermy: It treats pain, muscle stiffness and blood circulation around the cells by transmitting heat to the body through the system. It also gives relief in sciatica by correcting it.
●    Nerve Gliding: Helps the nerves and nerves to move smoothly by moving them.
●    Sensory Integration
●    To reduce sciatica strengthen the pull on hamstrings / Piriformis.
●    Strengthen the spine, supporting muscles, ligaments and tendons, abdominal muscles.
●    Use dynamic Lumber Stabilization and McKenzie Techniques.
●    Posture correction and spinal stabilization, focusing on the muscles.
Apart from physical therapy, severe symptoms like sciatica can be avoided by making the body flexible by continuous yoga practice like Setu Bandhasana, Bhujangasana, Markatasana, Padushthan Asana, Sihansan, Shalabhasan, etc.
Arthrogrit, Neurogrit, Immonogrit, Bone Health, Nutrella Vitamin B-12 etc. are very effective in Ayurvedic medicines, which can save the patient from the consequences of sciatica.
