Yoga -Yoga Health

Yoga -Yoga Health

Dr. Nagendra Kumar Neeraj

Yoga is the science of fitness of the body, courage of mind and beauty of soul. Yoga is the name of the ultimate health of body, mind and consciousness.

What is yoga?

Yoga is the science of life transformation. Yoga is an experiment to reveal the truth. Yoga is the art of living in the present by abandoning the fantasies of the future and the memories of the past. Yoga paves the way to live in the present i.e. Kalyug, by crossing the pain and suffering of the past (past) and the fear and dreams of the future (future). Yoga is a scientific technique to free the mind and reach a thoughtless, dreamless mind. Yoga is happiness and it is the philosophy of living a happy life.

Yoga is not a sect but a science

Yoga is not a religion. Like mathematics, physics and chemistry, yoga is a pure science of establishing a person in his nature, character or religion. The present day physics was discovered in the West, similarly India has invented the science of yoga. Just as science is based on experiments, similarly yoga is based on wisdom gained through experiments. Jain, Hindu, Muslim, Christian etc. religions are based on faith, material science is based on external experiments and yoga is based on internal experiments. Yoga is a Hindu lifestyle that has been prevalent since time immemorial. Shiva, Dattatreya, Yagyavalkya, Janak, Shukdev, Patanjali, Gorakhnath, Matsyendranath etc. have been great yoga scientists and inventors of yoga. Among them, Maharishi Patanjali threaded yoga into sutras like mathematics and science. Patanjali's yoga sutras have accurate results like the molecular mathematical sutras of Einstein, Max Planck, C.V. Raman, Bose and Bohr. Just as two and two make four and water is sure to boil at 100 degrees and turn into steam and ice when it boils below zero, similarly, by practicing Patanjali Jali Yoga Sutras, falsehood is destroyed and a disturbed mind is dissolved. Truth is revealed and the soul is realized. Like science, yoga is also not based on faith and trust. Yoga is an existential experiment. With the help of scientific sutras of yoga, a yoga practitioner experiences the truth by descending into experience and understanding.

Union of religion and science means the development of life

By removing religion from science, life and existence trembles with the dance of destruction. By removing science from religion, life fills with the stench of negligence, blind faith, laziness and irrationality. Human life becomes animalistic. By combining and harmonizing science and religion, human life touches the sky of development.
The word Yoga has originated from the Sanskrit word 'Yuj', which means to unite, combine, join and meet. Yoga is the union of the soul with the divine. Yoga is the merger of the entire energy of the body, mind and conscious soul with the divine. Yoga is to remain stable in equanimity while remaining neutral in success and failure. In this way, many definitions of yoga have been given. Body, mind, intellect and ego are transformed into human beings by practicing yoga.
The goal of yoga is to bring balance in the body and live a healthy, beautiful, happy, peaceful life rich in joy. According to the great sage and yoga scientist Patanjali, yoga is yogashchitavrtti nirodh, that is, awakening and restraint towards the instincts of the mind. By awakening and seeing the mind instincts with consciousness, they are automatically destroyed. In the Bhagavad Gita, 'yogaḥ karmasu kaushalaṁ' (skill in action) is called yoga. According to the Kathopanishad, when the consciousness is motionless, the mind is calm and the intellect is unmoved (steady), this firm restraint is called yoga. 'Manah prashamanopayah yogah ityabhidhiyate' Yoga In Bashishta, yoga is a science of relieving or awakening the mind. Waking up in one's own form, that is, being self-contained and healthy, is the use of Patanjali's 'tada drashtu swaroope avasthanam'

Patanjali Yoga - Science of Awakening Consciousness, the great mathematical formula

Yoga is a scientific experiment of awakening the inner consciousness. Ancient sages and Rishi scientists invented this great science of inner existence, Yoga, by being self-oriented in the laboratory of their soul for years in the silent, isolated forest. Rishi Patanjali, the scientist of the inner world, laid the scientific foundation of Yoga science by formulating it. Yoga is a great science like chemistry, mathematics and physics. Yoga is a powerful scientific experiment of attaining the supreme existence by awakening the inner consciousness. Patanjali has divided the various experiments of Yoga into eight parts (ashtangs) like scientific formulas-
1. Yama: Non-violence, truth, non-stealing, celibacy and non-collection-universal moral duty.
2. Niyam: To purify the mind, cleanliness, contentment, penance, self-study, devotion to God-self-discipline i.e., by following the Yama and Niyam in thought, word and deed, we get the result of the use of Yama and Niyam. This corrects and regulates the physical and mental disorders and the mind.
3. Asana - By combining the body parts in various forms in a rhythmic manner, the practitioner of Asanas purifies and strengthens various body systems, making the body beautiful, shapely and healthy. With the success of Asanas, the attachment towards the body breaks and the practitioner conquers the body and moves towards selfrealization. The above three practices Yama, Niyama and Asana are the external means of Yoga. Through these, the body is made capable of achieving the ultimate health and revelation of the divine consciousness beyond the body. The flower of ultimate beauty can bloom. The fragrance can spread. The flowers of ultimate health and beauty do not bloom in a sick and weak body.
4. Pranayama: Prana+Ayama means expansion of breath ie taking deep breaths and holding them for a long time. Giving rhythmic extension to inhalation and exhalation and controlling breath in an even, deep, long and rhythmic manner through Purak, Kumbhak and Rechak is Pranayam. Breath is the bridge between the soul and the body. One end of the string of breath is connected to the body and the other end is connected to the soul consciousness. Therefore, with the expansion and use of Pranayam, the journey of the soul beyond the body and its realization is possible. The place of Prana (breath) is the lungs and the place of the soul consciousness, which is a part of God, is the heart. Ishwarah Sarvabhutanam Hridya Deshe Arjun Tishthati. Gita-18/6 Sa Ya Aeshontarhridya Akashah Tashmipayam Purusho Manomayah l Amrito Hiranyamayah ll
5. Pratyahara : Prati+ahara i.e. auspicious thoughts or mantras Om, So'ham, Hari Om Shivoham should be connected to inhalation and exhalation and food should be taken with each breath repeatedly. For example, the same God is going inside with the breath or Shiva is going inside with the breath, ego is coming out with the exhalation. I, ego, ego is getting absorbed in God and becoming Godly. By doing Pratyahara of these mantras through continuous inhalation and exhalation, the state of Ajapa Japa i.e. Pratyahara of these eternal sounds starts from every pore. By this, the mind gets free by dissolving desires. All the tensions of body and mind disappear. By Pranayam and Pratyahara, rhythmic and dynamic control and operation of breath takes place. By controlling breath, there is control over mind. Freedom is obtained from mind, then the Sadhak Yogi, Muni starts the journey not of mind but beyond mind.
6. Dharana: The use of concentration and awakening of the mind towards any monotheistic or devoted void or full shape or formless God. Sensory pleasure and the perception of the impermanence of the material world is perception.
7. Meditation: The deepest state of concentration, a glimpse of the bliss of awakening. The mortal body is melting and dying every moment, that is why the body is called Pudgal. Amrito Hiranyamay: The realization and realization of the ever new conscious life is meditation.
8. Samadhi: Samyak Dhi, Samyak Bodh, Samyak Gyan means the emergence of right balance and equality in life, i.e. the solution of all problems is Samadhi. The state of non-duality free from conflict, the complete awakening of consciousness is Samadhi. In Samadhi, all the lines of seeker, means and purpose, seer, sight and sight, knower, knowledge and the known end, there is harmony in them, there is harmony in them. The yogi becomes healthy and natural. Life becomes vocal with the immortal music of Samadhi. There is a total sublimation of divine, chitmay, consciousness, the attainment of immortality, the triveni of infinite knowledge, infinite love and unique sacrifice starts flowing, life becomes a holy pilgrimage, in the state of peaceful and sacred Samadhi, there is the manifestation of the complete expression of self, ultimate health and ultimate beauty.
Breath is the bridge between the soul and the body. One end of the breathlike string is connected to the body and the other end is connected to the soul consciousness. Therefore, with the expansion and use of pranayam, the journey of the soul beyond the body and its realization is possible.
"Asupta Muni: Supta Amunih" means a yogi and muni who are always awake and an amuni who is always asleep and unconscious. This explanation of Lord Mahavir is an explanation of Samadhi. Living while awake is the state of Samadhi. The one who is living while awake is a sadhu, a yogi and a muni. He is the one who is meditative and healthy. Immersion of the mind is Samadhi, consciousness is revolution. Muni means silence. Dissolution of the mind, relaxation, awareness, witness consciousness and unconsciousness, meditation and there are steps to Samadhi. There is only one sadhana in life. Awakening and the cultivation of awareness is Samadhi. This is the basic foundation of Yoga and Yogi. As soon as awareness is cultivated, life becomes Samadhi. There are thousands of diseases like lust, anger, greed, attachment, arrogance, envy etc., which make the mind and body unhealthy. It will take infinite lives to cure each disease. There is only one ultimate medicine for all these diseases, Yoga i.e. the practice of awakening. The infinite nectar of health is buried under the stones of anger, ego, memories of the past, and sanskars of future dreams. The burden of the stone has to be removed. The nectar has to be revealed. We go to saints and sages and take vows in enthusiasm that we will not get angry. We will follow celibacy. Vows are taken in enthusiasm, but when the stream of unconscious mind gains strength, then unconsciousness takes over, vows are broken and the soul accepts the power of sin and is filled with remorse. Self-esteem is lost. Self-power drowns in the darkness of atonement. Self-esteem is destroyed. Guilt, frustration and inferiority complex arise. The person falls in his own eyes, he becomes degraded.
Awaken your consciousness before lust, anger, jealousy and intoxication; shake yourself that important moment of self awakening is coming, the time for the poison to dissolve is coming. Be angry with awareness. When awareness is associated with anger or any evil tendency, a sense of witness is born. The self-controlled become angry. The lustful become free from anger. The fiery energy of celibacy in suppression produces anger. When lust and anger are suppressed, it comes out in the form of greed. A person becomes miserly and cunning, on one hand there is suppression, on the other hand there is expulsion. Energy is expelled downward in some form or the other. In lust, anger and greed, all the energy flows downward. As awareness descends in life, one attains samadhi. As awareness deepens, all the energy rushes towards truth, towards nirvana to merge in the divine feeling, as a result, the event of samadhi occurs. This is yoga.
In Samadhi, all questions fall away, all thoughts end. In this thoughtless Samadhi state, there is no thought or contemplation, no resolution or choice, this is Samadhi. This is Buddha's Nirvana, Patanjali's Samadhi Mahavir's Keval Gyan, Meera's Krishna and Kabir's Ram. All the problems of life are solved. Imagination, dreams and words dissolve and incomparable and incomplete wordless equality and Samadhi emerge. All the depths of a healthy meaningful life like the calm ocean, all the heights like the Himalayas, all the successes and ultimate development this is achieved only through Samadhi. Energy awakens in dormant life. Its preservation and upward movement is achieved through Samadhi. The soul is reborn.
The true Brahmatva is revealed through Yoga Sadhana. One life first birth is from parents and the second birth is from self awakening Yoga is achieved through Samadhi. A person attains it only after the second birth. Dwija is called Dwija means Brahmin, that is, to Samadhi every person available knows Brahman, that is, Brahman, which is Brahman anyone can become a Brahmin by knowing this. Not by any lineage but by Yoga this makes one a Brahmin. Even after being born in a Brahmin family, "Ravana" became a demon Satyakam, the slave son of the Upanishad, is another slave son, a gambler, Vaishyagami "Elush" after research on Rigveda and Etereya Brahmana The creator of Yoga "Mahidas Aiterey" was a criminal Shudra's son and many such sages have become Brahmins by their deeds.
At present, the proponent of Yoga Science and Universal Yoga Revolution, the worshipped Yoga scientist of the masses "Swami Ramdev Ji Maharaj" is also a high class Yogi and Brahmin whose Mahamantra is, "Unbroken and intense effort is the joy of Yoga". Anyone can become a Brahmin by realizing Brahma, Truth and Yoga. Janmna Jayte Shudra: Sanskarat (Karmana) Dwij Uchyate. Manusmriti Yoga is the science of life transformation. Importance of yoga in health and beauty care

With the help of Yoga, all the parts of the body work smoothly. They become strong and robust tissues. With the help of Yoga Asanas, the joints, the strong bonds of the tissues, the tendons connecting the bones and the ligaments made of elastic bands connecting the bones to the bones and providing strong stability, the nerves, muscles, arteries and veins of the spinal cord become flexible, strong, powerful and robust. The elements that make the joints, nerves and arteries hard are cholesterol- LDL, uric acid etc. are controlled. Voluntary muscles, bone muscles, especially the muscles of hands, legs, chest and shoulders develop in proportion and become shapely, beautiful, strong, powerful and healthy. In the life of a common man, there is no balance between prudence-knowledge and emotion-behavior. Prudence does not help in doing wrong, but under the influence of emotions-anger, greed, jealousy and hatred, a person ends up doing wrong, which has adverse effects on health and beauty.
By yoga practices, the innumerable nerves of the stomach, spine and brain i.e. enteric nervous system, spinal nervous system, central nervous system are particularly affected, as a result, impulses and emotions start getting controlled automatically. Health and beauty start blossoming. In natural Ayurveda and yoga therapy, the cause of all diseases is the foreign toxic substances accumulated in the body due to wrong food, lifestyle and thinking. The disease is named after the name of the organ from which this foreign substance comes out. For example, if the disorder comes out from the skin, then the skin disease is dermatitis, if it comes out from the abdomen, then the stomach disease is colitis, gastritis, if it comes out from the nose, then cold-rhinitis and sinusitis and if it comes out from the face, then acne etc. occur. The cause of all these diseases is the same, toxic and foreign substances pollute the blood and lymph, reduce the immunity. As a result, both health and beauty are destroyed.

Healthy and beautiful person

Blood circulation is accelerated by yogasanas. The expulsion of foreign substances-toxic metabolites increases. Due to continuous receipt of neurovascular flow and energy and nervous or nerve power from yogic asanas, the body remains light like a flower, energetic and the mind remains calm after doing asanas. Asanas make the body and mind healthy by having a controlling, regulatory, planning and balanced effect on the peripheral nervous system, somatic nervous system, motor neurons and sensory neurons, autonomic nervous system, sympathetic and parasympathetic nervous system. 0-8 to 3 calories of energy is spent per minute in yogic asanas. 0-9 to 1 calories of energy is spent per minute in the state of rest. Therefore, maximum benefits of health and beauty by investing less capital and energy is possible only through asanas. Special forms of the heart, lungs, veins and endocrine glands from the asanas coordination, balance and harmony is maintained among all the body parts. In the case of Sarvangasana, Halasana, Karnapeedasana and Shirshasana, due to inverted position-gravity, blood circulation towards thyroid, parathyroid, pituitary pineal and gonads endocrine glands increases. They get ample nutrition and their massage is good. There are thousands of meridian points reflex spot zones in our body which directly affect physical and mental health. The divine bio electromagnetic life energy is transmitted and controlled through these centers. These centers are activated and controlled by the effect of asanas. As a result, the immunity of all the organs increases due to its reflex effect. They become healthy and well-shaped. Asanas, Pranayama and other Yogic exercises for astronauts to prevent space sickness, dizziness, muscle pain etc. Yoga is capable of fighting cramps, headaches etc. in space. Due to zero gravity conditions in space, the body processes become chaotic and topsy-turvy. Yogic exercises increase the body's ability to tolerate these turbulent processes. Yoga is capable of maintaining health and beauty even in space. This fact has been proved by India's first astronaut Rakesh Sharma in 1984 in Soyuz T-10 for 10 days in space along with his fellow Russian astronauts through his experiments. Electromyographic recording (EMG) Electroencephalogram (EEG) Electrocardiogram (ECG) Lungs Function Test-2 Echo Cardiography Nerve Conduction Study (NCS) and various other computerized machines, activity of muscles through nerves, flexibility, muscle pressure, endurance, changes, vital capacity of lungs, heart control, blood pressure, changes in blood components, activity of external and endocrine glands, nervous system, excretory system and brain waves and yogic activities have a miraculous coordinated effect on the social, family and professional relations of a person. With the proper use of yoga, every organ becomes healthy, well-shaped, strong, powerful and beautiful. The balance, harmony and rhythm between body and mind, mind and mind, and consciousness and mind are so unique and wonderful. This is the ultimate achievement of yoga. The merger and union of the self with the ultimate truth, God, is the essence of human life. It is the culmination of significance and meaning.
