Obesity A global Problem Lifestyle disease

   Obesity Nowadays obesity has become a big problem all over the world. Many people in India are also victims of obesity. Due to obesity, common people are facing many problems. Due to this, many types of diseases take birth in the body simultaneously. Obesity is the most common disease caused by unhealthy lifestyle, which is troubling every second person in the world today. Obesity has a negative effect not only physically but also mentally. Obesity is also called a 'lifestyle disease'. Which means that it is caused by your bad lifestyle and your lifestyle also plays a very important role in getting rid of it. Overweight and obesity are defined as abnormal or excessive fat accumulation that poses a threat to health. A body mass index (BMI) greater than 25 is considered overweight, and greater than 30 is considered obesity.

Main causes of obesity

There can be many reasons for obesity. The main reasons among them are- • Obesity and body weight gain are caused by an imbalance between energy intake and energy utilization.
Consuming high fat diet is also a cause of obesity.
• Less exercise and sedentary lifestyle are the main causes of obesity.
• Due to unbalanced behavior and mental stress, people start eating more, which causes obesity.
• If physical activities are not performed properly, fat starts accumulating in the body, this is also a reason for obesity.
• Obesity during childhood and adolescence can persist into adulthood.
• Many people have the habit of sleeping after eating food during the day which can cause obesity.
• Hypothyroidism
• Consuming too much sweets also increases the risk of obesity.

Symptoms of obesity

Obesity brings many changes in life at the physical and mental level. Due to which its symptoms are reflected in the person. But many times people do not give importance to them and do not take any medical advice about it, which later proves harmful for their health.

The main symptoms of obesity are as follows

• Breathlessness Frequent shortness of breath is a symptom of obesity which can occur due to many reasons and causes many diseases.
• Increased sweating Sudden and frequent sweating, and that too a lot, indicates that the person is suffering from obesity.
• Snoring Generally, people suffering from obesity can be seen snoring a lot while sleeping. This problem increases with the increase in obesity.
• Sudden difficulty adjusting to physical activity and feel powerless. Being unable to perform any physical activity normally is also related to obesity and this is also the most prominent symptom of obesity.
• Feeling very tired Generally, experiencing constant fatigue without any extra workload is also a symptom of obesity.
• Back and joint pain Back and joint pain can be commonly seen inpeople suffering from obesity.
• Experiencing a loss of confidence and self-esteem Due to physical problems, the ability to do any work decreases and there is no confidence in oneself, which leads to a decrease in self-esteem.
• Feeling lonely Loneliness is a common problem with obesity. Physical changes can make people feel isolated and lonely.
• Sleeping too much or too less than necessary If we sleep more than required then this is also a major symptom of our obesity.

Problems related to obesity

Obesity causes many health problems including type 2 diabetes, hypercholesterolemia (high cholesterol, gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD), high blood pressure, heart disease, depression, osteoarthritis of joints, joint pain, sleep apnea and respiratory problems, urinary stress incontinence, asthma and lung problems and reproductive problems. As a diabetic patient becomes obese, his diabetes problem increases. Shortness of breath and excessive sweating are the major problems of obesity.

Proper weight

The ideal body weight for a young person should be according to their height so that their body structure looks appropriate. The most common way to measure body weight is the body mass index (BMI) and it is calculated by doubling a person's height and dividing it by their weight (in kilograms).

Conclusion

Obesity can be reduced by following the above mentioned tips. If you fall prey to this condition then it is better to consult a doctor immediately to cure it as it is not only a problem in itself but also leads to many other health problems like heart problems, gallstones, sleep apnea and infertility.

Diet

5:00 AM: Panchamrit drink, (fennel, coriander, cumin, celery) 100 ml
7:30 AM : (Sarvakalp + Kayakalp) and Aloe Vera + Wheat grass)
At breakfast
Almonds 5, Walnuts -2, Figs -2, Raisins -7, Garlic -2, Fruits Apple, Papaya, Pear, Sprouts Coconut water
12:00 to 1:00: Fennel, boiled vegetable, salad, multigrain roti -2, multigrain porridge, gourd kalp.)
4:00 to 5:00: Roasted lotus seeds, roasted gram, coconut water.
7:30 evening: PM Fennel, boiled vegetables, porridge/ gourd kalpa.
Medicinal water : Medhahar drink (1-2 litres/ daily). Fasting : Fasting on coconut water.
Fasting on fennel fenugreek city water. Fasting on lemon honey water. Fruits, sprouts.
Treatment :Hot and cold compress on abdominals. Natural Immersion Bath: Jacuzzi Bath.
Wrap with cough massage
Enema, Jalneti, Eye wash, Kunjal, Rubber Niti. Vibro massage. Steam bath, Local steam (fatty parts). Udvartana. Full body mud bath.

Ayurvedic medicine

1. Sarvakalp Kwatha
2. Rejuvenating Kwatha
Mix both the medicines and take two spoons (10- 15 ml) of it and boil it in 400 ml water. When 100 ml remains, filter it and take it in the morning on an empty stomach and one hour before dinner.
3. Wet Go Vati Take 2 tablets each in the morning and evening before meals.
4. Fighter Vati Take 2 tablets each in the morning and evening before meals.
5. Lipidom Tablets Take 1 tablet each in the morning, afternoon and evening after meals.
6. Bottle gourd Take 1 tablet each in the morning, afternoon and evening after meals.
7. Punarnavadi Mandoor Take 1 tablet each in the morning, afternoon and evening after meals.
8. Godhan Arka Take 20 ml in the morning on an empty stomach with equal amount of water.
Yoga for obesity Posture-
1. Tiryaka Tadasana, Trikonasana, Konasana, Padahastasana.
2. Chakki Asana, Sthitakonasana, Paschimottanasana.
3. Bhujangasana, Shalabhasana.
4. Ardha Halasana, Padavrttasana, Dvichakrikasana, Markatasana, Shavasana.

1.Bhasrika Pranayama
2. Kapalabhati Pranayama
3. External Pranayama (Agnisar Sahayaka Ya)
4. Ujjayi Pranayama
5. Anulom-Vilom Pranayam
6. Bhramari Pranayama
