Maharshi Dayananda Saraswati, who gave the mantra of Swarajya

Maharshi Dayananda Saraswati, who gave the mantra of Swarajya

When our country India was caught in the plight of independence. The doors of education were closed for the Bahujans. The caste system had surrounded the society like a venomous snake. The country was divided into thousands of castes and sub-castes. Untouchability had acquired an inhuman form. Child marriages were taking place openly, fearlessly and fearlessly. There was no limit to the wretchedness and compassion of widowed women. The demon of ignorance, darkness and hypocrisy was swallowing up the society. The condition of Hindu society had become like that of dilapidated clothes. His resistance was exhausted. Disappointment and despair had crossed their limits. The condition of women and Shudras was very pathetic. Seeing this state of the country, the heart of the ocean of mercy, Dayanand was moved. Sage Dayanand dedicated his life to the service of the nation, to make the conch shell of Swarajya and to awaken the sleeping self-respect and pride of the country, by becoming samadhi in a secluded quiet place on the banks of a mountain or river. sacrificed, that's why Mrs.Annie Besant said-
"When the Swarajya temple is built, it will have idols of great leaders, and the tallest idol will be that of Dayanand."
Veer Savarkar, the great revolutionary freedom fighter, had said - "Maharishi Dayanand was the first warrior of the freedom struggle and the first warrior of the Hindu caste. He was a protector."
Lokmanya Tilak wrote about Swamiji –
"Sage Dayanand was a shining star, who shone with his supernatural aura on the Indian sky and awakened India from its deep sleep. He was the first messenger of Swarajya and the worshiper of humanity"
On November 11, 1950, while paying homage on Rishi Nirvanotsav, Iron Man Sardar Patel had said - "The greatest contribution of Swami Dayanand was that he saved the country from falling into the deep pit of irresponsibility. He had laid the real foundation of India's independence. "
Maharishi Dayanand, in the eighth chapter of his immortal book Satyarth Prakash, while declaring Swarajya wrote, "At this time there is no independent independent independent state of Aryans in Aryavarta. When the bad day comes, then the countrymen have to suffer many kinds of misery, no matter how much one does, but the indigenous state is the best, or without the insistence of difference of opinion, the partiality of one's foreigner justice and mercy on the subjects like parents. The state of foreigners with it is not completely pleasant."
What could be a clearer concept of complete independence than this. After reading the clear thoughts that Maharishi has put forth regarding Swaraj in his classic works like Satyarth Prakash, Vedabhashya, Aryabhivinay etc., there is no doubt in believing that Swami Dayanand was the first Ugatata or Mantra giver of Swarajya. History is witness that Gopal Krishna Gokhale was the one who taught Mahatma Gandhi the lesson of freedom. Gopal Krishna Gokhale got his inspiration for patriotism from Mahadev Ranade. Mahadev Ranade had read the lesson of patriotism from Swami Dayanand. In 1875 AD, when Maharishi Dayanand was giving discourses in Poona, on the same day Shri Ranade got in touch with Rishivar, and the flame of patriotism got ignited in his heart.
Shri Ranade ji taught the lesson of nationalism to Shriyut Gopal Krishna ji Gokhale and taking inspiration of Swarajya from this Gokhale ji, the Father of the Nation, Mahatma Gandhi took a plunge into the freedom struggle.
In front of the guns of British soldiers in Chandni Chowk, Delhi the immortal Hutatma Swami Shraddhanand, who roared by opening the buttons of the kurta, 'If you have the courage, let's go bullets, the chest of the sannyasin is open', was the supreme disciple of Maharishi Dayanand.
Before the emergence of Swami Dayanand, no one could dare to speak of Swaraj. In 1906, Dadabhai Naoroji first announced the word Swarajya, 10 years after that in the Lucknow Congress session Lokmanya Bal Gangadhar Tilak declared Swaraj as the birthright of the people of India. After this, the Congress passed a resolution in 1929 AD in the Lahore Conference for the attainment of complete independence of the country. Whereas Rishivar had announced it 55 years ago in 1874 AD itself.
Swamiji wrote to awaken the self-pride of the countrymen and to eradicate the inferiority complex of the countrymen, "This Aryavart country is such that there is no other country like it in geography. That is, become rich."
Similarly, in the eleventh chapter of Satyarth Prakash, flooded with the feeling of patriotism, he writes - "The country from which its body was made, it is still maintained and will progress in future also, everyone should work together with body, mind and wealth.”
Representing the glory of ancient India (Aryavarta) to awaken the self-respect of the countrymen in very heart touching words he writes, "Five thousand years before the creation of the Aryans, there was the universal Chakravarti, that is, the only state above all in geography. In other countries, there lived Mandalikas, that is, small kings, because Kauravas and Pandavas were here till the time of their rule and rule. The kings and subjects of all geography used to walk." Satyarth Prakash 11 Samullas
Rishivar, through his lectures and articles, used to inspire Indians day and night to attain independence. Once while talking to a businessman named Jones in Danapur (Bihar), Swamiji says - "If the feeling of unity and true patriotism develops among the people of India, then the foreign rulers will have to lift their bags and go immediately." - Swami Dayanand Saraswati Personality and Thoughts p. 108
In 1905 AD, when Lord Curzon broke the heart of the nation by partitioning Bengal, the spark of the dissolution movement spread from one corner of the nation to the other with full force of anger and resentment. The fierce form of this fire was clearly visible in Punjab. At that time he was leading the Punjab, the Arya Samaj Veer Lala, who considered his mother and Swami Dayanand as his father Lajpat Rai. Because of his lion roar, the country called him 'Shere Punjab'.
Honored by saying The British placed him under house arrest in the fort of Mandalay.

Contribution to the Armed Revolution

Along with the path of peace for achieving Swarajya, a strong movement of armed revolution was also going on. The leading role in this belonged to those revolutionaries who were directly or indirectly influenced or inspired by Swami Dayanand's nationalist ideology.
The leading names are Shri Shyamji Krishna Varma and Amar Shaheed Ramprasad Bismil.
Shri Shyamji Krishna Varma went to England and established 'Indian House' in London in 1905 and inspired the Indian youth living there to join the freedom struggle through 'Indian Home Rule Society'. The monthly paper 'Indian Sociologist' published by AAP had become the theology of politics for the youth. Influenced by the provocative thoughts of Shri Shyamji Krishna Varma published in this letter, many youths like Madan Lal Dhingra, Bhai Parmanand, Bhai Hardayal set out on the path of self-sacrifice.
Considering himself as a disciple of Maharishi, Veer Savarkar used to teach Satyarth Prakash to the prisoners during the Andaman imprisonment. Madanlal Dhingra, a disciple of Savarkar, sent Curzon Wylie to the afterlife in London.
He had avenged the insult of Mother India by sending him. Like deity Bhai Parmanand had gone abroad to propagate the thoughts of Maharishi, who had to bear the torture of life imprisonment instead of hanging for the crime of patriotism.
Similarly, Swami Somdev ji, a follower of Swami Dayanand, and taking inspiration from the literature of Maharishi Ramprasad Bismil, Thakur Roshan Singh adopted the path of armed revolution and laughed and sacrificed his life for freedom.
Shaheed-e-Azam Bhagat Singh's grandfather Shri Arjun Singh was an ardent follower of Rishi Dayanand. Inspired by his revered grandfather, Veer Bhagat Singh along with his dear companions Rajguru and Sukhdev started 'Inquilab'.
He had made his supreme sacrifice for the nation while raising the slogan of 'Zindabad'.
DAV College Lahore Prof. Jaychand Vidyalankar, who was an intense graduate of Gurukul Kangri University. He was the teacher of revolutionaries. He was taught the lesson of patriotism by the patriarch Swami Shraddhanand, because Swami Shraddhanand himself was a great devotee of Rishi Dayanand. The work done by Swami Dayanand not only in the great movement of independence but to make the Indian society stronger and better in all respects is engraved in golden letters in the history of India. He continued to work throughout his life with the lofty concept of establishing an egalitarian society without discrimination through Vedic socialism, making this country the world's most prestigious country in economic, social, cultural, educational and political fields. The sage had opened the gurukulas, girls' schools through education for women like men. The strong desire to make every girl and woman of India a scholar like Gargi and a heroine like Rani Laxmi Bai and a scholar of the Vedas like the ancient sages was constantly in the heart used to persist.
Social evils like non-Vedic beliefs, conservatism, ignorance, hypocrisy, child marriage, sati, untouchability, which had ruined the Indian society, wanted to make India a world leader by removing these diseases. The greatest fear or temptation could not deter him from the path of truth.
Today, when our country is getting entangled in the mud of casteism, provincialism, tyranny, incest, corruption and terrorism, our world Vedic culture, civilization, traditions are seen to be disintegrating, in such an odd period, by giving the message of Swaraj, Swadeshi, Swabhasha. Only with the thoughts of the Maharishi, who awakened the pride of the nation, would the dream of Ram Rajya along with Swaraj be realized.
When the history of modern India will be written, then Swami Dayanand's name will be written in thick gold letters. On completion of 75 years of independence of the country, on the historic vela of Amrit Mahotsav, the originator of nationalism, Swarajya, Swadharma, the sage who provided nectar to the countrymen by consuming poison himself! Many thanks to the sweet memory.
