Acharya Balkrishna Ji Maharaj received award among 10 most influential personalities for his unprecedented contribution in Healthcare

General Secretary of Patanjali institute respected Acharya Balkrishna Ji Maharaj received award from UN SDG (United Nation sustainable development goal) for being one among 10 most influential people who have contributed in a great way in Healthcare. Besides in the field of Healthcare and also for his work in yoga and Ayurveda he was felicitated. Acharyaji received this award from the health ministers of Zambia and Zimbabwe. Acharyaji dedicated his award to all those who have contributed in associating yoga and Ayurveda with all parts of the world. At the Auditorium of Patanjali Yogpeeth on this occasion a Press Conference was organised in which Swami Ramdev Ji Maharaj said that status for the first time that any Indian has got such a great award. The contribution of Patanjali in the field of Healthcare is globally recognised. Now it is being recognised across the world by the means of this award and this is a matter of great Pride for every Indian. This program was attended by around 20 speakers from across the world and Acharya ji got first place among them. 
Swami Ji Maharaj said that those who receive this award apart from acharyaji are W H O director general Dr. Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus, director of W H O Africa doctor Matsidiso Rebecca Maiti, promedica President and CEO Mr Randi Auustra, and the world famous export of alternative medicine of China Mr Abi Li were present. He said that this felicitation has not just brought honour for Patanjali and Acharya ji besides India but also so it has increased the acceptability of traditional science of India yoga and Ayurveda. Speaking during inaugural session of UNSDG acharyaji said that he was related to describe about ancient knowledge and Signs of India which is yoga and Ayurveda in their original language Sanskrit. He also said that his Institute and UNSDG share similar goals and both are like one family and his Institute had been making great efforts and Endeavour with the help of its lakhs of workers in the field of public welfare and providing people with great services in the field of Healthcare across the world. 

He said that Patanjali institute has been working with the help of well trained teachers alas with the methods of yoga Ayurveda naturopathy to help people get rid of diseases like obesity hypertension diabetes heart diseases waist pain joint pain kidney diseases liver problems lungs problems and cancer in 65 countries of the world and crores of people are being benefited. Besides with the  help of yoga asana Pranayam meditation are some of the yoga methods lives of people across the world are getting rid of the addiction of alcohol. 

Respected acharyaji also said that that at Patanjali research Laboratories research is being conducted on the uses of thousands of years old traditional importance of plants to prove how useful they are with the help of reverse Pharmacology. With the help of new research on plants evidence based medicines are being prepared which is the goal of Patanjali the findings of this result oriented work Karbonn published in global journals and magazines besides he also said that in the field of digital Health Services Patanjali under w h o more than 7000000 patients are registered. Apart from this more than 15000 hours of digital record of yoga Ayurveda training programs are also available. With the efforts of Yoga Guru Swami Ramdev Ji Maharaj directly or through TV channels and social media in more than 100 countries 50 crore people have adopted yoga. 

He also said that in the field of Universal Healthcare air air air around 60 to 70% population of the world is dependent upon botany based Medicine System and 61 types of the treatment of diseases. He further said that with the help of all these methods and coordinated research Vishwabheshaj Sangeeta is being prepared in which there has been a description of world’s most ancient civilization and description of more than 2000 tribes who used the goodness of more than 60000 herbal plants on the basis of their internal and external properties qualities and goodness. Vishwabheshaj Sangeeta contains Pharmacology and chemical composition of all these plants and complete research conducted until now. 
That such a project was started by W H O in 1999 which continued till 2010  but it is now being carried forward by Patanjali Yogpeeth in a comprehensive manner. She said that compilation of this book is an unprecedented initiative in the history of the world and it contains the names of of more than 1200000 plants in 1650 languages and there is also canvas painting of 35000 of these plants in this book. He also said that there are more than 6 lakhs context based quotes and this book contains more than 100000 pages and it is expected that the book will be ready for readers very soon. 

Acharyaji also said that his institute has not only been doing these things as an inspiring intellectual movement it or or as a non government organisation but his movement is also taking along lakhs of volunteers and he and his team are committed to dedicate their whole life for the success of this mission. This summit was attended by around 500 representatives from 50 different countries. This included country heads , health ministers , policymakers, heads of Administration and policies and industries , civil societies , chief executive officers and top officials of World Health Organisation and World famous scientists. On this occasion a book called “The World Health Organisation - A History” was also released.
