Scientific properties of Sahastra Puti (Abhrak Bhasma)

   Bhasma or ash is meant the extraction of useful elements obtained from the calcination process of any substance having medicinal properties. Apart from Ayurveda, Bhasma has also played an important role in Unani system of medicine. To get ashes from any metal or substance (gem), first its ash is prepared. Firstly, the impurities of the concerned gem or metal are removed. After this, ashes are made, which can have many stages like- purification, powder making, washing, smelting, heating etc. Broadly speaking, a material is first detoxified, which is called purification. After this it is finely ground and finally this finely ground powder is soaked in kewra, rose water etc. and again the medicine is ground. What a substance is treated with it depends on the medicine and the way it is made. Pishti is felt by rubbing it between the thumb and forefinger that it should not be thick and should be a fine powder. The feeling changes according to the type of drug. Pishti is milder than Bhasma. Mica (MICA) is a versatile mineral found in the mountains which is found in the form of blocks in metamorphic rocks. Mica is found in abundance in most igneous rocks. Alkaline substances like iron, potassium, sodium and lithium are also found in it. Mainly it is found in coal mines and is found in the mountainous areas from Jaipur to Udaipur in Rajasthan. In Ayurveda it is considered as Maha Rasa, (Rasa Shastra) black mica is considered best for making Bhasma.

Along with disease diagnosis, we get adequate amounts of potassium, magnesium, calcium, aluminum, silica, sodium, phosphorus, titanium and iron from mica.

Abhrak Bhasma is used for the diagnosis of many diseases. It is used for the diagnosis of diseases like fire, phlegm disease, abdominal disease, leprosy, worm disease, heart weakness, manly weakness, brain disorder, breathing, blood, bile, liver disease, urinary tract, urinary tract, gonorrhea, pandu etc. .

Research on Bhasma in Patanjali Yogpeeth

Asthma is a disease of the lungs. Which causes breath difficulty in taking. When asthma occurs, there is swelling in the airways, due to which the airways get narrowed. There are two types of asthma on the basis of symptoms-

Extrinsic asthma-

External allergens are an immune response to external allergens such as pollen, animal hair, and dust.

Intrinsic Asthma

Any chemical that reaches your lungs like cigarette smoke, bidi smoke, strong odor of some chemicals can cause asthma. The diameter of our respiratory tract decreases with time, due to which there is difficulty in breathing, chest gets tight, breathlessness starts. These are all symptoms of asthma.

If we keep India or the whole world in mind, who all have this asthma? What type of allergy is it? After studying this, it is known that there are 30% people in India who have to go through one or the other allergy sometime in their life. Which are these 30% people, who sometime there is allergy. Ten percent of them have asthma suffers from disease.

Ten to 11% of the world's asthma sufferers live in India. After the study, it has been found that it is not only a disease of the elderly, but also 3% of the children are also active in this disease. Well, there is a difference between allergy and asthma. It can also be said in this way that allergy is the initial stage and if the allergy increases more then later it takes the form of asthma. For the treatment of asthma in allopath, the doctor gives an inhaler to the patient. This inhaler contains Cotigo steroid, which is delivered directly into the lungs. 90% steroid is put in this inhaler. Its function is to widen the air passages inside the body. When the scientists of Patanjali did research on this Sahastra Puti (mica ash), they found that it is ash made of nano particles. Its estimated size is less than 200 nanometers. Whatever size is less than 200 nanometers, they come under the category of nanoparticle. It is a medicine of nano size, so it travels far and wide, and its effect lasts for a long time. When we tested this Sahastra Puti (Abhrak Bhasma) on the lungs on a scientific basis, how does this Bhasma work? Then we have scientists create inflammation in LPS. Effect on rats

Then we tested this medicine on animals. With Ovalbumin in it, we first created asthma in rats, which continued for 30 days, then we observed that when Ovalbumin is given to rats, the symptoms of asthma begin. After that we treated them with Sahastra Puti, in which we used 3 doses 3 times lower, 3 times higher and also added steroids and found that how Sahastra Puti (abhrak bhasma) behaves when compared to steroids, So found that our Sahastra Puti (Abhrak Bhasma) was found to be many times more effective than steroids. Which is working better than steroids. Sahastra Puti (Abhrak Bhasma) is an alternative to steroids. Cynophilia in asthma is measured in our blood. When scientists measured this cynophilia on animals, they found that animals with asthma had significantly higher levels. This level was reached from 0 to 80 times. Removed it from Sahastra puti (abhrak bhasma) and brought it back to level 10. The response after using this medicine was quite satisfactory.

After that, during the scientific test, we cut the lungs of these animals finely, there was swelling inside these lungs. in these lungs mucus was full. The lungs had become very hard due to the collagen fibers all around. Then we tested that all the animals which we had given Sahastra Puti (Abhrak Bhasma) had started recovery. This recovery was not only at the tissue level, but it was recovered on the cells of the lungs. The Sahastra cyst had almost destroyed all the internal organs of these animals.

No side effects

In this test, we have also used steroids together. The comparative study of these two shows that the results of Sahastra Puti (Abhrak Bhasma) were of high quality and also it had no side effects. After this, scientists found that there was no toxicity inside the liver, inside the kidney, inside the heart, nor was any kind of accumulation found.

When the scientists examined the blood of these animals, in which they saw the level of Silica, it was absolutely cutless. The body processed as if nothing was there. The medicine did its job 100%.
