Self-reliance in education- Self-reliance in education through Indian Education Board

Self-reliance in education- Self-reliance in education through Indian Education Board

Any nation can prosper only when it becomes self-reliant in every walk of life. It must have confidence in developmental-journey and cultural strength. It must contain smell of nuclear value fostered by religiousness of that nation in its social fabric. It’s bitter truth that dependency over others is the main source of pain, while self-reliance is the source of eternal bliss. Our country proceeded with in this direction post-independence that we must move towards self-reliance as per the fundamental objectives of the Indian Constitution. We become self-reliant in the food grain sector but at the same time, we have been depending on imported knowledge in the technical field. However, many scientists gave many objectives, we remain dependent on others in fields of research, invention and technical revolution. Many talented personalities conducted new researches but at the same time they got no desired recognition. We have always been importing techniques related to industrial revolution, communication, defence equipment, etc.
When we evaluate and analyze the causes behind it, then it becomes clear that outer improvement in the education system and dependency on imported system are the main reasons behind it. The world history witnesses that any nation can only develop when it looks forward to its language, culture and respect towards past. The countries and societies which make distance from their cultural roots have no option but to depend on others for their development. Our country is filled with resources like geographical, social, historical, thinkable and cultural diversities. But it failed to create sense of desired self-confidence in the human resources as the education system lacks self-culture. If a country deviates from path of remembrance of its cultural development journey, it will not develop in the right direction. The society which loses entire thought tradition of past and social diversities, capacity of healthy evaluation of changes, gauge the conditions of present and consciousness towards challenges arising out in possibility of future fails to attain objective of overall stable and fostering development.

Realizing this truth, Param Pujya Swami Ramdev Jee Maharaj and Acharya Balkrishna Jee Maharaj took pledge to develop such education system by improving power through talent of scholars of the country and cooperation of the Government of India that it must arise out of country’s culture and have capacity to assimilate objectives of entire newly knowledge-science. It will inculcate fundamental personality in the educated youths and make them self-reliant. Patanjali Yogpeeth founded Indian Education Board is a healthy and visionary concept which can instill the merits of being global citizen in the educated young generation. But at the same time, their approach must be Indian. There should be divine beauty in the center of their thought.

Any nation is brought under political slavery by winning over area to make it slave. But it’s made  economic slave to give farsighted stability. The main weapon is to declare its culture as mean. Its traditions, rituals, thoughts, language, literature are made imperfect, mean and uncultured. Education system is the main tool of attacking on the culture of any country. Through education system, such intention gives an imprint on the unconsciousness of the children. On the scientific facts, it has been proved that any children upto age of 12 years have low frequency wave energy which has capacity to grasp outer attack. The maximum part of unconscious brain is built in that period. Their unconscious brain gets developed fully upto the age of 18 years of age. It makes it clear that education system upto senior secondary level is the effective tool and strong equipment for cultural flow and approach building. During the British colonialism, Indian cultural heritage has been presented as mean because cultural colonialism needs to be set up for strengthening and stabilizing the political administrative and economic colonialism. For this cultural colonialism, the entire generation was uprooted from cultural roots through education system apart from other many unlawful intellectual advertisement and attack on culture. A sense of disrespect towards culture and respect towards imperialism forces of traditions were instilled in their mind. It was Macaulay who gave it institutional status in 1835 by bringing Indian Education Act. Post-independence, Indians fail to get rid of it. The country is facing great challenge how to get rid of this vicious cycle and develop a sense of respectful pride towards entire Indian culture and prosper heritage. During freedom struggle, our Indian scholars had been trying hard for indigenous and self-reliance in every walk of life. Works, thoughts and overall thoughts of respected Tilak, Arvindo, Gandhi, Tagore, Swami Vivekanand, Maharshi Dayanand and Dr Ambedkar hint at this fact. Apart from political self-reliant, economical self-reliant is also seen in it. Gandhi’s effort to install spinning wheel in every household was the successful step towards this direction.

Pujya Swami Ramdev Jee Maharaj and Shradheya Acharya Balkrishna Jee Maharaj have played important role in bringing totality in 21st century and indigenous movement. The rishi duo did tremendous work for building healthy nation through yog and Ayurved. Apart from it, they also created strong wave of indigenous in the production of necessary things. Many young industrialists took inspiration from them and employment was generated through indigenous products. The consumers got relief from suppression of foreign firms. The people included yog and exercise in their daily routine. Apart from it, the organic farming replaced chemical fertilizer to boost farmers’ physical health.
Now, Pujya Swami Jee has taken pledge to link new generation of the nation to such education system which can be competent enough. They must be aware of total knowledge of prosper culture and intellectual heritage. Every youth of India must be educated with this concept that their Indian approach can transform into global citizen. They must be energetic personalities full of entire knowledge tradition and energy of modern science. Aiming at these objectives, Pujya Swami Jee has set up Indian Education Board with cooperation of Maharshi Sandipani Rashtriya Ved Vidya Pratishthan and Government of India through ‘Patanjali Yogpeeth’.
The Government of India is trying hard to make the country self-reliant which is possible only when we can develop children in the form of ‘self-reliant divine personality’. New National Education Policy also reflects the commitment to this objective. The National Education Board is committed that we must strengthen the nation through self-reliant human asset and thoughts. Because it’s thought which gets transformed as work. Ideological self-reliance can realize the concept of strong, prosper and self-reliant India in every fields like economy, technique, defence, social culture, etc.
